Mirror of Vanity (admissions)

I have a pretty mirror right here, it's golden frame stretching up so far that it brushes the ceiling, carved into the shape of intertwining roses, rich with thorns. The mirror itself seems flawless, however, one who looked close enough would see the surface is riddled with microscopic cracks from top to bottom. Nobody ever looks that close though, because when you look in this mirror, you see yourself, but with the quality you value the most vastly exaggerated and/or improved.
