Christian preacher on hooligan charge for saying LGBT is a sin

Oi, I don't remember the article stating that he's Catholic, and I don't know of any other denominations known for widespread abuse. Please don't lump all the Christian sects together like that; it's no more fair than if you were to lump Muslims in with Anglicans for believing in one God.

While Trieste is correct that we shouldn't lump these groups together, it is also true that people like this guy should be sternly reminded about a few passages involving planks, splinters, and casting the first stone. It is not fair to lump him with child molesters, however, it is fair to choke him with his own text. According to these people 'all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God' and we should 'judge not lest we be judged'. So really he has no business condemning others by the admission of his own holy text.
For every complex problem there is a solution that is simple, elegant, and wrong.

For the record, the article says McAlpine, the preacher, is an Emmanuel evangelical.
