PMs apparently getting lost in cyberspace...

Would there be any reason for PMs getting lost between my hitting "send" and my partners' PM box? This has happened a few times in the past two months with two separate people. I've sent PMs, they've shown up in my "sent items" tab, and I get no word for several weeks. I send another PM along the same lines after several weeks, referring to the previous PM, and am told that my  partner never received my previous message.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a fix for it?

If you still have the pm in question in your sent folder, I can see if anything happened to it.

Often it just gets missed on paging, unfortunately : /

All I need is the IDs (the probably seven-digit number after pmsg= in your url if you go to quote it).
