One-shots! (NOT one on ones!)

Okay, I have an idea that's been milling about in my head that I'd like to share with you. I am uncertain if it would be feasible or not, or even worth using the forum's reasources.

In this game, people can lay out their senario ideas and hope for a partner(or more) that will take them up on it. The twist? The idea can only be a few sentences long, and the game only lasts one scene.

The purpose for said game would be to try out the various settings in our heads that we like to try but don't really want to bother with a beginning or an end. If the players really like the characters or the setting and want it to be longer, they can take it to one of the Fun and Games catigorys, but the game itself with be dedicated to short, sweet, one-shots.

I don't know, it might be redundant considering how things are set up now. Thoughts?

Interesting.....
Sometimes it is nice just to do something quick and off the mark.
There are times when I have been uninspired in certain roleplays that I am doing because I have not been in the mood for that scenario.
It's hard to be a cold calculating bitch, when all you want to do is sit and have a cuddle and infact visa-versa, but have no where to go to express yourself.

I spose it's the equivalent to having a one night stand instead of a steady relationship?

Pretty much. Suppose you just want to screw a vampire without doing the whole seduction thing, or skip the capture and training of a sub, or was just inspired by a really hot picture and want to play it out. One Shots would be the place to do it.

There'd be no real pressure to keep posting or to interact. Anyone could just hang around and wait for an idea that inspires them or until they get the idea. No worries about logic, staying true to the character, or plot.

I'll give it a go , sounds like a good bit of roleplay....sort of like when your home alone and frisky , so you pop out to the pub to pick up a random mutli-tentacled succubus and a curry....oh I remember the days .
