Pokegirls! (we need more pokegirls played!)

well... I simply still haven't gotten the chance to do a pokegirls rp. I would want to use all of the pokegirls from the dex, but I want the location to be entirely alternate universe. As far as plot goes, I'm open to discussion.

Here's what I thought of so far:

A bunch of new tamers make a bet with each other that in two years time, they might have the best team. The bet is a large enough sum to be worried about, although I haven't made a decision as to what it should be yet. So the new tamers go out into the world, capture new pokegirls, train them and try to get themselves to become better than all of the others who made the bet. The rp would take place, starting when they made the bet, and go on until the two years are up, and they all meet each other again.

We will come up with a system to decide what defines a single day passing, in order to make sure everyone is on the same timeline. Different players will decide if they are going to play as tamers, or pokegirls, or both. Players are free to play up to 8 characters due to the fact that each tamer may have many pokegirls. Here's a sample character sheet:

Due to the number of characters each player will likely play, it'd be best if you didn't have a problem with people playing genders of their own.

We need more people to play other character's pokegirl harem members!

that's basically what they are to begin with. The premise of pokegirls is that they are all girls, and require an active sex life in order to stay sentient, if they don't they become feral.

You could find a 'pokedex' online fairly easily, try searching for pokegirl pokedex or pokegirl list in google, or you could just join the yahoo group, and they will send you a downloadable .doc of it. Or better yet, pm me and ask for me to send you a copy.

I'm fairly new to the whole concept myself which is why we will be using an alternate universe world rather than the 'canon' world, which is rather an odd term consider the whole thing is a fandom and there is no real canon to it.

I think we have more than enough to start... although I'm getting the feeling that this is really only appealing to guys lol. Like I said in my first post: 8 characters per player. That way you can create both a tamer, and several pokegirls that will function as a member of your trainer character's 'harem' or another's.

There will be a lot of alternate universe stuff including: items, locations, people, even some pokegirls can be made up for this rp. The only thing I want to be certain of is that the concepts revolving around the pokegirls (battles, 'taming', training, catching) are still present.

I'm going to make a character sheet, a custom item sheet, a custom location sheet, and a custom pokegirl sheet. That way when you continuously refer back to something, people can look it up here instead of being confused.

Relative Location: this is the base location, all other locations will be in relative position to this one, or another one

Attraction: home town, so either to defend it from an invasion or an attack, or to go home
More Description: It is a small town, possessing one pokecenter (pokecenters act as clinics, tamers' schools, and also count as a free place to sleep) Everyone who joins the rp has a right to put in one home for each tamer character they use. There is a small police station, and one small store. Most of the town is scattered about, small paved roads connect every building, most homes stand alone in the woods or in the fields, like a farming community without the farms. There are a few restaurants.

Relative Location: About a 16 hour walk north of Greenford, and the closest town to Greenford
Difficulty: Fairly easy travel, paved roadway from Greenford, and a paved roadway to Silverfork City
Danger: High crime rating, lots of black markets, not a lot of hostile nature
Attraction: closest town to Greenford, mining town
More: Silverton is a mining town, it has died out twice in the past becoming a ghost town, giving its buildings the interesting look of having been refurnished and partially repaired. There are no exceptionally large buildings, but they are, for the most part, close together. There is one pokecenter, three small police station, several shops and markets, three inns and one or two restaurants.

Part of the pokegirl world is blood gifts and curses, those can be almost as complicated as the different pokegirls themselves. There are NO HUMANS in the pokegirls world, all characters are only mostly human, and they posses certain inhuman traits that are the blood gifts and blood curses.

I'm not sure if we should worry about blood gifts or curses since there are so many... at least not the specifics...
tell me if you want your character to have some sort of natural resistance or anything, I'll find one for you and tell you what it's called. i'm also not opposed to just making some up for this rp. I will limit you though.

I'm probably going to exceed 8 characters in order to play major villains or other characters like gym leaders if we decide to use them at all.

preferably we just start with one each... and then capture and tame more as we go along

rarity restrictions... hmm... as long as you can come up with a legitimate reason for how you came to find said 'rare' pokegirl, it's okay. Do not start out with any unique, legendary, or higher evolutions of pokegirls. I will come up with a system to distribute legendary and unique ones if we are going to use them at all.

for the day system... 2 years is 730 days, I think a safe expectation for the duration of this rp would be one to two months if it gets off the ground at all. So I'm going to equate the time difference and post like, what each hour in real life will be in game time.

I'm also going to create a systematic leveling system so that people don't power play their skills and stuff up too high too quick. It will be things like: win a battle, +1 level to the pokegirls that fight, and the tamer; each good paragraph will equate to either a level or a half a level.... etc.

Since he was a child, he wanted to become a tamer, as it is a respectable job that promises much adventure, but back then he was frightened by the methods to do so. That changed as he got older, especially when he underwent puberty. The time to become one finally came, when his childhood friend Mia underwent threshold and became a Catgirl. He passed the test for the basic license and made her the first pokegirl of his harem. Then he left his town to explore the world, meet other tamers and, of course, tame other pokegirls.

Short Bio: Mia was originally a human, who had pokegirl blood in her. She was the best friend of Rico, knowing him since they were six years old. As they became older, Mia felt more and more attracted to him, a feeling that he, unbeknown to her, shared.
Being the granddaughter of a breeder, she often helped at their farm. The constant exposure to pokegirls eventually triggered her blood and she underwent threshold and became a Catgirl. After the initial shock subsided, she made the decision to become Rico's first pokegirl, convincing him to finally make his test to become a tamer.
She is fiercely loyal to Rico, even more as a pokegirl and will him protect from any danger.

In Jason's story... which I think I'm figuring out how to make it work with this rp... his father gets shot and killed when he is young. He eventually gets older and goes through his dad's stuff to find an extremely powerful pokegirl who actually trains him to become a good tamer and fighter himself. I also intend to have her become a huge mastermind of evil, and from the start planned for her to be older than anyone else alive. She's a Vampire, and was bitten and turned about 15 years after Sakube comes around, and was actually born in the 1870's... making her between 350 and 400 years old.

Unless you as the GM thresholds her, I won't be doing so, rather I'll let her run as a researcher/trainer until somebody decides to force her to threshold either by illegal means or OOC agreement. I don't want to make it too easy, though, so the collar would make taming her more difficult. Such a device could readily be illegal though, since they're supposed to be keyed to a particular owner and she's not owned.

In her lifetime she has become one of the smartest masterminds alive, but she is often underestimated and ignored due to the fact that she is a pokegirl, and no one know her true age. She was born sometime directly after the US Civil war. Her libido almost doesn't matter, her heightened mental state from having lived so long has nearly overridden her need for sex. Even in a 'feral' state, she always knows exactly what she's doing. She convinced Jason to seek his father's vengeance, and trained him to become a very skilled tamer. She decides that she will not go with him when he leaves town, but remain at the abandoned house in which Jason found her. Her skill in magic has developed so highly that she has learned how to cast a shadow arena spell, allowing her to act normally in the daylight in a area nearly blackened out from the sun.

Short Bio: The mastermind behind most shady and illegal activities and also the head of a huge corporation as a front. No-one knows about his underground activities except the people who take orders directly from him, and few others who have happened to meet him in criminal activities. His corporation produces new and high tech weaponry, advanced machines and experiments with cybernetic and robotic developments. The technology produced in the company gets secretly handed over to his criminal business counterpart. He is technically a tamer, but he is so successful in the business world that he rarely actually goes out into the world to explore. His entire harem is as corrupt as he is, caring only for their own good and the good of their tamer. Some would say that he trained them to be so corrupt, but others believe that many of his pokegirls were chosen because of their corruption. Money is the only thing he really cares about, he believes that as long as he has the money, he has the power to do whatever he wishes.

Short Bio: Stevenson was the leader of the group of three men that executed Jason's father, the very man who pulled the trigger. Not much is known about except for tha fact that he works for Mr. Amagio to some degree.

I will also eventually create NPC profiles for Jason's father's other 5 harem members. Part of his story is going to include an attempt to find and rescue them all.

Attraction: Usually, people only know of the path that connects the forest to Silverton, however, some people also know of a certain patch of flowers within the forest. These flowers give off a very sweet scent that is known, from time to time, to attract more exotic pokegirls than what are normally found within the forests.

If you're losing interest because no one is controlling your poke girl harem, I am willing to take control of Dust, as I said in the OOC thread. I will probably be making more girls for the tamers to capture as the RP progresses as well....IF it progresses.

But if you aren't going to continue, what's the point in jumping in at all? Might as well wait for another one to start up, or look for something different.

I guess I can understand your reasons. I know I've hit my own RP limit in the past...I'll wait and see what the others do I guess, if this RP just kinda dies, then whatever....If not, then I'll jump in.
