Mystery Men - Unsung Superheroes Interest Check [UN]

So this wouldn't be directly based off the Mystery Men movie, I would love to do a Roleplay with the exact same premise: Retarded superhero powers. I mean retarded as in the powers are quite hindered in their own right.

Let's go through the classic Mystery Men:

Mr. Furious: Super-strength, but only when he's really really angry - there is only one unsubstantiated report, supposedly he lifted a bus
The Blue Raja: The ability to throw silverware with precision - except knives
The Shoveler: Mad shovelling skills - his family wholeheartedly disapproves of his lifestyle choice
The Spleen: Godawful stench, thanks to a gypsy curse, and can aim his flatulence at enemies
Invisble Boy: Invisible as long as no one's looking
Dr. Heller: Weapons specialist, specialising only in non-lethal weapons

You do know in the original comics there were at one time around 50 Mystery Men, and there are tons of wannabes.

They had an open enrollment really after awhile all one had to have was a costume, some kind of "power" and be willing to fight crime.

And you missed The Bowler.  ;)

I would call Dr. Heller and the Sphinx support NPC's though neither went in the field in the movie.

I'll consider running an original Mystery Man if you get that far so count me in but conditionally at this point sine I won't play a cannon character. I would never be able to do The Bowler right.

Hehe this is neat idea ive often thought about things like this and come up with some quirky superhero characters who are a bit silly.

My favorite one was my idea of a Super heroine Maid/Cleaner who basicly is entirely all about cleaning up after Super heroes/Villians etc. She is a crazy lady who basicly considers the whole super powers thing a whole nussiance and regards most wielders of such powers as nothing more than children who forget to put there toys away after playing with them.  Superheroes and Villans are always making a big mess of cities and public areas, there has to be somone to fill that gap to clean up the mess to dry up those toxic stains to scrub away that filthy raidation to move that oil tanker to its proper place that some bright super hero decided to leave in the middle of town.

Another one which i considered using as a npc in a game i was going to run at one point was a super attractive celebrity type super hero who basicly caused more problems than she solved due to the fact people would throw themselves of buildings and all maner of other ridiculous things just to get her to turn up.  She thus spent most of her time dealing with fans and media and no time to actual accomplish anything genuinely heroic she was in essence a poser super hero a victim of her own popularity and looks.

I always liked Mystery Men althougth ive never read the comics only seen the movie >.<

I want to make it clear right now: this would not involve canon characters. It would be much better if people came up with their own characters, such as the aforementioned maid and an original plot would be developed.

Lesbian Avenger

Appearance: not sure yet

Powers: Gives of pheromones that stimulate the sexual pleasure centers and desire for her, in only other women who are sexually mature - has zero control over this and doesn't know she has this power. Has a protective costume that covers most of her vitals leaving her body nicely displayed made out of leather, chainmail and kevlar.

Skills: Martial Arts (worked out in the gym and took night classes in unarmed combat and fighting with various weapons without hitting herself in the head), Drive Cars, Ride Motorcycles, Go Go Dancing, Sewing,  Mechanics (daddy taught her to fix cars and bikes and is pretty good but not a professional), Great Bookkeeper.

Origin: A frumpy girl growing up with an interest in the martial arts she was working in a Go Go Bar for lesbians The Pussycats Bar as a bookkeeper when a witch seduced her, fucked her and the interaction turned her into a Grade A hotty with a thing that makes women fall for her hard. The next night she started work in the bar as Cherry Darling making big money and fucking every woman she liked. Started to fight crime after one of her girlfriends of the moment got beaten up and began to enjoy beating up on men.

Vehicle: The Beauty (a repaired old Harley now in good shape, with roomy bitch seat for her lovers, classic black with a lesbian couple doing the nasty as a decoration)

Quirk: Won't hurt women villians, its against her code.
