Finding Salvation

Genre: Historical
Setting: 1930s Prohibition America
Concept:
He had everything. His health. Intelligence. Wisdom. Power. Wealth. Influence. A handsomeness that women found attractive. He also had an unflattering reputation birthed through bank robbery, fraud, rum running, and assault and battery.

He had everything but her.

In a city that never sleeps, a preacher had set up a revival to cure the inflicted, and to damn those who broke the Prohibition laws. She was the preacher's daughter, an image of innocence and naivety that the women he knew never could behold.

He longed to have her, to have something that was untarnished by corruption.
She longed to escape the abuse of her father, her family, to have somebody in her life be nonjudgmental ... and their worlds would intermingle, become one, and find salvation in each other.

Notes: Looking for somebody to write from the male character's perspective.
As for themes, I'd like to explore the depths of their relationship, a slow and quirky courtship that is  going to face obstacles such as disapproval of from her family, the violence in his world, jealousy, obsession, dark desires, etc.
If interested, please PM me.
