hi im wondering how to delete a post you have made

As an unapproved member you don't have the ability to delete posts.

However, if you have a post in the wrong place we can move it for you.

Another question regarding deleting...  Is there a way to retrieve a thread if you accidentally delete it

Yes.  PM a staff member with the information and we can sort it out.
