Zeitgeist

Apparently this is a French word, which I see can have one of two definitions, either a bathtub or a lower level private box at an orchestra or theater.

Question is, is the only thing separating the two context?

I relaxed in the steamy waters of the half-filled baignoire.

My companion and I took in the orchestra within the privacy of a latticed baignoire.

Haibane

Usually yes.

"We went out on the frozen lake on our skates."

"The meal was excellent: two well-grilled skates."

(I know that's not a great example, since the plural of skate (the fish) is still 'skate') but you get the idea.
