A D day intervention

In this one, I would be the pilot of a marine corps V-22 Osprey warbird variant, enroute to the French Normandy coastline in 2014 with several others in a wargames exercise. Going through a mysterious fog that appears, my V-22 comes out of it to see thousands of ships below us, world war 2 ones.

The basic idea is that we would appear near Omaha beach, intervene there with the pillboxes and other beach defences, and go from there. If this appeals to anyone with the interest and knowledge, let me know.
