Starwars Role Play for anyone to join...

Okay I’m not sure who all is into starwars but I have an idea for a fun little starwars mission if there are any takers. Here’s the situation:

This is set in a time frame way away from any of the ‘official’ starwars stories. Seriously like thousands of years into the future so there aren’t any characters that anyone knows. My character is a Jedi Knight by the name of Torkin Jordiac. He’s a tall human male with general good looks and a roguish reputation. He’s about 28 years old. He has been ordered to get together a small team of fellow Jedi Knights and go on a scouting mission to a mysterious planet that is loaded with dark side power. There haven’t been Sith around for centuries but a few dark Jedi have left the order over the years. The council thinks that these dark siders are forming another cult of Sith and want Torkin and his team to find out what’s going on.

Here’s a start in case any are interested:

Torkin stood solemn in his black robes in front of the council. As he looked around the council chamber he marveled at the beauty of it. The crystal clear glass coupled with the colored glass and stone to form an awesome display. The Jedi Masters within the council chamber garnered less of his awe than the room itself did, especially Korfin Shol’ke. He was a Bothan master that had been against Knighting Torkin when his time came. He was out voted but Torkin never forgot it. He was the one speaking now.

“Jedi Jordiac, as you might have guessed from the intelligence reports you have just been given, we have a mission for you. The unrest in the Kroovonian System grows and we need to find out why. There is a planet in the system called Torow. There have been several reports from Force sensitives of a Dark presence in the area.”

“So you want me to go check it out?” he asked in surprise. Half of the Jedi Council thought he was to Dark in his ways as it was. Why would they send him there? “Is this supposed to be some kind of test?”

“Test or trust, Torkin, call it what you will,” the Grand Master Orlo Rye said. “We want you to choose a small team of fellow Jedi Knights whom you think can help you get the job done. Take them and go. We will expect a report back when you choose your team.”

Torkin stood in silence. He didn’t know whether it was a test or a show of trust. There was only one thing to do now in any case. He had to convince a few Jedi to go with him. That shouldn’t be too hard.

“You may go now Torkin,” Master Rye said.

Torkin just then realized he was still standing in the middle of the chamber. He bowed slightly and turned to leave. Now the only question was who would agree to go with him?

This would be open to Male or Female. I have no certain set number of people in mind. I just want to see (much like Torkin there) who will go with me. Just reply to this if you are interested. If this works out I'll move my first post into the Non-Adult Role Play section. Thanks!

"Heh!" Vizzal, a light-blue skinned Twi'lek, chortled. "They want to send you where?" she asked, not quite believing that could have really been an order, especially for Torkin. The tips of her tails seemed to disagree about how to respond.

But Vizzal knew Torvik. He wasn't a joker, at least when it came to orders. Vizzal's head tilted to the right as she considered the proposition before her. Recently knighted herself, she too sought a way to prove her worth. "Alright, I'll go. Someone's going to have to keep your nose clean!" That last bit seemed to come off as a light, playful scolding.

Heck yeah you can get in on it!

Just say you're character was on a mission elsewhere and is meeting us there.

What type of character do you have in mind? Any story ideas are cool too... we're sort of stagnant...

Not sure which 6 that is Fox?  But no they can be absolutely anyone. You can join from elsewhere just like him above. THey can be additions that the council sent as insurance that Torkin and Vizzal would get the real job done.

Hmm. If the Jedi Counsel wanted outside help without causing unecessary panic, I could see them making an anonymous contract with mercenary types.

No you're right lyell. It doesn't matter if they are Jedi or Mercs or whoever. It is open to any and all. Feel free to just start posting in the Non-Adult RP section. I'll hold off and let those who want to join do their backstory.

Sorry I hadn't checked in on this thread in a few. I've been ko'd with a few real life issues. Anyway, absolutely I love the idea of anyone joining. The character should fit well Justme. I look forward to seeing how the confrontation goes. :)

FYI as far as the thread goes. It is absolutely true that anyone can join. Like Paugus said, as long as they can fit themselves into the story somehow, anyone can go for it. I didn't think anyone would be interested in this when it started. So the more the merrier.

Read through the posts is about it. It's thousands of years in the future. I'm not sure if everyone here has a great grasp on all the different details of Star Wars especially a few thousand years in the future. ^^ We're just constantly scraping stuff off the wall, it's fun!

Er yeah so the point of all that chatter was the only background info is here at the top and in the posts of the main thing.

Oh, and if you can't think of a way to come in quite yet, check back in a few posts and you might think of one. =)

His name was Allesk. And the fist thing most people noticed about him, was his movements. He moved like a machine.  Nothing wasted. Efficient. Every movement had a purpose. His skin was dusky brown, the same shade as his clear eyes. His hair was curly and tied into multiple braids that where tied again into a single tail, and while handsome, his cheeks had the sunken look of someone used to a hard life.  He wasn't a jedi. Jedi made him uncomfortable, they knew to much. Always did somehow, seeing things just below the surface. And those lightsabers, so damn fast. If there was anything in the world he was afraid to fight- it was a jedi. But here he was, surrounded by the ‘em. How the hell did he end up like this?

Oh yeah. An outrageous offer from the council. Credits speak volumes; and as long as the price was right he was happy to make nice.

The bounty hunter sighed as he went over his myriad of equipment again. His armor was fine, the matte grey plasteel, a chest plate, greaves and gauntlets. Green cloth was seen under the armor, and a green screened device covered one eye feeding him various tactical information. Blaster rifle, check, undermouted grenade launcher was fine, tranquilizers and elctoro nets where green….

Shaking his head he continued to carefully check each piece as a shiver ran through him.

He had a bad feeling about this.

It sounds great! ^_^ Just wondering, though.. where is he now? He's been hired by the council... he could be undercover amongst the dark jedi, or maybe he's been following after them before deciding to contact them. Or maybe you'll be able to come up with something yourself as we keep going.

Former Jedi Marer Grill had left the order feeling the order was putting to many restrictions on Jedi's expression of emotion.  He felt if they were able to express more  of their emotions they would be stronger and better fit to keep the galaxy in better balance.  After leaving the order he started having dreams or visions leading him to the kroovonian system where he has lived as a hermit on the outer ridge of a city.  After some exploring he discovered ruins in caves and underground facilities.  Marer found old holonets with teachings of old force abilities.  He then discovered thy were sith holonets and that the kroovonian system is in fact the Korriban system the sith home planet that had been gone for thousands of years.  After researching the holonets Marer come to the belief that with enough leasons he could become powerfull enough to bring the galaxy to peace and show the jedi the errors of their way.  Over the past 20 years he has seen a slew of dark jedi arrive on the planet and settle all over the planet.  This struck him as convenient as once he feels worth of the title sith there are many young impressionable jedi to become his apprentice.  Always two...a master and an apprentice.  But today he feels a presence..Two jedi hunting him..or the others.  He must prevent them from stopping his plan as he has not completed his sith training and taken a new name.  *He puts on his cloak and goes to observe these Jedi.*

I had just got done with a mission on a between the Soregon and the Radiers people. I was my way back to the temple to get my next mission or just do some clear my mind excuresed. I was looking out the window out a the abyss of space. The beeping from the ships conlinked started to go off. I moved used the forced to press the botton. It was the counlise. I smiled and give them a bow.

Ah, Thora, I see you in your ship this time. must mean your heading home? said the Master Jane she was old. She was holding on to her little cane as if she didn't she would fall over. I never seen her skills before but yet she was my role molde when I was become a jedi knight. 

I smiled at her  and my answer her, " Yes I was just about to jump in to hyperspace to give my report on my mission. What do I own this little chat Master?" I asked her with a smile

When you get here you must seek out another Jedi Knight name Torkin words said that there is a mission and he will need everyone he can get. she said to me smile even more.

I couldn't help but asked her. "Is it you who wants me to go or Master Orlo?" I knew it was out of turn for me to even asked but I just wanted to relaxed just a little before taken on anymore mission but I guess this is the life a of a jedi. One should read the fine print.

Guidness is always need in any kind of life choose. Just find him. master Jane hand said before cutting me off. I let out a sigh and through the ship in hyper space. I sat there thinking about the name where have I heard that name before? I run my long slinger fingers through my hair. My big green eyes are like big fish eyes. I was very tall and slanckey. (I one of those clone makers off of Clone War.)

Two jedi took the mission and landed hooking up with a bounty hunter then a local,  they were given info on dark jedi in the canyons and started a battle,  the informant was a dark jedi trying to resurrect the sith.

i would be interested in joining this, I do know the star wars verse, but set long after the main characters have died.Still, their legacy lives on. I could be a latent force sensitive smuggler, aquiring things for  the right price, only something that I uncover in an old vault awakens my force skills and guides me to a world, where I meet certain jedi maybe.
