Hospital RP interest check and character template

New Kingdom General Hospital, situated in North Plaza of New Kingdom. It's the best hospital in the city, though that's like saying someone is the smartest guy in the remedial class. It has a history of medical excellence, though that age is long past, now the so called 'medical professionals' are more concerned with their own entertainment than their patients, the general attitude of the New Kingdom public service, and only a few steps better than the attitude of the city as a whole. The legal system has no fear for these lax practices, the good lawyers left New Kingdom for cities where the average income is higher than $8,000 per year. Welcome to New Kingdom General... hell... welcome to New Kingdom.



(Okay, this is a largely freeform RP, there will be a story arc, but it will be somewhat loose and lazy, most positions are open (not Chief of Medicine, that will be a shadowy figure, who's orders will be filtered down. :3) only ONE hospital Lawyer position is open, should anyone desire it, though there can be any number of nurses, Interns, Residents and Attendings, and any specialist area, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, oncology etc. You are by no means required to be an expert in whatever field, but a working knowledge is advised... or just have Wikipedia open. :3)

Appearance: (Ideally picture AND description.) Claire is relatively slim, blonde and has three tattoos, the omega symbol on her left breast, a rose on her lower back and a butterfly on her left ankle.

Personality: Claire is a jaded, cynical woman. Often deflecting people away with sarcasm and pithy wit. She does not trust easily and has very few real friends, at work she puts on a front of easygoing calm, though be wary of rousing her anger on her off days. Her gooey centre, however, is far easier to get along with. Contrary to her hard outer shell, Claire does believe in love.

History: Claire was born in New Kingdom's notorious South Side, the docks and industrial districts, her father left her when she was nine, leaving her poor, unemployed mother with the burden of three children. Claire was instilled  with a desire to succeed, and as her sister is fond of joking 'decided to be a doctor instead.' after medical school she rushed to NKG, and is still indecisive on a specialty.

Sexual Orientation: Lesbian

Additional information: Claire has a tabby cat named 'Sissy' and plays the violin.

Am I interpreting this correctly as seeing it as a game that will be like an even more lighthearted version of Grey's Anatomy?

And limits as in, what? We're working on established modern medical knowledge, if that makes sense.

I believe the unofficial title line for that show was "Sex & Medicine". In that order. :D

Still not completely sure where this should be going so I guess you could say my future interest will rest on what else I hear.  In what genre would you classify this?

I will keep checking but I guess if this group needs an anesthesiologist who works with almost all the doctors who don't really understand him as they know nothing about him.  There suspicions may or may not be founded and the role of anesthesia in murders on the street had suddenly become hot.  He could keep a barely breathing patient stable through long surgeries and yet other times the cause of death seemed to be linked but was it?

You can play as many characters as you feel comfortable with, I won't start putting limits on unless people start to struggle,  and sure, the psyche ward is possible.

And I'd classify this as pretty standard, I wouldn't say extreme unless someone had a specific hunkering for something before we start.

Ans Azzmeister, you may want to expand your character sheet, literally all I know about him is his name, age and job. We may need a little more info.
