Ryuuji is an orphan who live in an apartment complex not far from the college. As an orphan, he is very independent and serious in his behavior and actions. On the other hand, he is socially inept and finds it hard to trust people. In contrary though, Ryuuji is very loyal and protective toward those that he actually trusts. He likes to be in control and his tendency to be decisive makes him a natural leader in any situation.

When catgirls becomes more common, though he does not immediately jumps to the opportunity, he does accepts their existence as pets or slaves. In contrast, he resent the activity of forcing girls to be turned into catgirls but supports the action as long as it is voluntary. He cannot stand actions where others are abused, even catgirls and often will go to violent action at the sight of such action.
