My old cheapo camera that I've had fro years finally gave up. SO I need a new one but I need it to have high resolution and be able to take good pics of things up close since I need it for Ebay and the such. But I need it cheap. Good and cheap usually don't mesh when it comes to cameras.

Are you looking for something digital or a DSLR?

If you have a good 'setup' for taking photos you don't need a great camera, but it all depends on what you want. For small objects such a setup is a fraction of the price of a basic DSLR. Though when you say up close, do you mean like macro close?

To some, steampunk is a catchall term, a concept in search of a visual identity. To me, it’s essentially the intersection of technology and romance. – Jake von Slatt
