Three Things I Know to Be True

So I found this video to be brilliant:
Sarah Kay (Brilliant) @ TED
and in it, Sarah mentions a great brainstorming exercise. 

Name three things you know to be true:

The rules:

1.  Be nice, don't use your truth to bash anyone else, to tout your political or religious beliefs... etc.  Let's talk about basics... and don't think too hard.

2.  Don't think to hard.

3. Have fun.

2.  - Sometimes  a handful of words can make me feel more than any physical touch.

3.  - Reading good writing fuels good writing, incredible verse begets poetry, swimming in the language stream spills over into really great ink.

1-The song always remains, though it might change, and always will.

2-The mixture of beautiful words and beautiful sound combined heals me more than anything else in the world, including chocolate cake.  :D

3-There is always light at the end of the tunnel that won't run you over.

The word hate is over used, hate is personal, hate means someone deeply scarred you or hurt you or those you love, when talking about petty things like music or people you don't know (actors/musicians/etc), food, things, etc, try using dislike or "don't care for", there's simply too much hate in the world
3. Just because you have an opinion, unless it's asked for, doesn't give you the right to go around shoving it in everyone's face, freedom of speech is a privilege, and should not be used as an excuse to flame others

2. (From my wife, possibly a quote) Life is all peaks and valleys, if you're going through a dark valley right now there's likely a bright peak ahead when you make it through.

3. (From personal experience) It's better to feel periods of intense emotional pain than numb out and stop really feeling anything.
