We Will Run This City! (Interest Thread)

Well recently there was a roleplay someone suggested, however the roleplay sadly fell apart, but it gave me a huge idea and I hope to see them join this one. I'm going to throw this out there and hope that I get an interest here :)

Everyone know's that Vegas is known as what? Sin City, the life of the party, and to some it's known as Gambler's Island. During the day you have the simple worker's, not to much traffic, but enough rumor's, but at night... well that's when the true terror and beauty of the city awakens. In the past few years a mafia has come to be known or rumored to be controlling this beautiful terror of a city, but are they right? Well the rumor's are partially true, there is a force that is slowly gaining control of the city, through the knowledge of blackmail and violence. Two men control a good chunk of the underground; from drugs to prostitution they run it.

Say hello to friends Jerimiah "Venom" Carter and Marcus "Demon" Anderson. These two grew up on the wrong end of the block, both parents the victims of gang assassination leaving their sons to grow up in an orphanage. Put it simply its kind of a romeo/juliet story only these two aren't romantic, but enemies turned best friends. The two's parents were in rival gang affiliations, so when placed into the same orphanage, the two began at each other's throats. After a while the two felt there was no point to fight anymore and band together to make things better in their lives, however as they grew older the two became drunk with power and pride, causing their simple dream of freedom to become a dream of extortion and crime, much like their parents.

Marcus is now 26 years old and is the head of a thriving casino, which holds a bunch of slots, card tables and it's own private night club. Jerimiah owns and controls a small string of hotels in Vegas, throwing his own string of prostitution for his own "special" guests who help keep his business going. The two are still tight, but there is a feeling that something soon is going to cause the two to strain that friendship.

I hope to bring Temptress's original idea to light a little more and hope that she enjoys this idea that i've come up with :)

That works just fine for me, but please have her as one or the other. it makes it easier to seperate the characters.
