Unable to post anything without toggling 'source view'

If I try to make any kind of post or modify a post the text box won't let me click in it and the buttons to bold or underline and the like are greyed out. Only once I click the little page at the top right of the post formatting icons to enter source view will it let me type in the text box or use any of the other formatting icons. I do not know what has caused this as it was working normally just yesterday.

I had this issue just yesterday, and had to toggle the source view to post anything. But for some reason, it fixed itself by the next day.
