Name: John, Johnny, do NOT call me Chief, or just Greyhawk

Age: 29

Appearance: John is Lakota Sioux. He is 6'2, 250. His black hair is down to the center of his back and usually braided behind him. He works out and spends a fair amount of time outside, so he’s in good general shape but without big, gym-rat muscles. He was in a suit on the plane, and hopes to find his preferred jeans, but knows that’s not likely.

Sexual Preference: Straight, heteronormative, whatever term people prefer.

Occupation: Computer Programmer, security specialist.

Special Skills: He spends a lot of time in the woods, hunting and foraging. He knows a good bit about plants, but that’s not necesarily going to be as helpful as he’d like in a comepltely different climate than he’s used to. Fishing should be useful, though.

Biography & History: John was born on the Pine Ridge Lakota Reservation in South Dakota. He was always smart, and qualified early for a scholarship in a special program. No one ever called it by the actual name, the people on the Res always called it a “White Man’s Guilt” ride. He found he had an aptitude for computers, and specialized in those classes. Getting a degree, John shamelessly exploited his minority status to get a job at Blaylock Systems, a small but elite computer security firm.

John discovered two things as he worked his way up in the company. The frist was that he really enjoyed foiling would-be hackers. The second was that he hated flying. A lot. But travel was sometimes part of the job, and he just did his best to bear it. As he got promoted, he built a small cabin in rural Minnesota, where he hunted and fished in his time off. He’s enjoyed various relationships, but is not in any kind of committed one at this time.

He followed his usual routine of popping a Valium and taking the one drink he allowed himself at a time. He’d seen too many of his people go down to alcoholism, and he always worried about that in the back of his mind. He missed most of the flight, and woke up mid-descent, which was disorienting as hell. Now he has to figure out what to do on an island half a world away from most of what he knows. His computer skills will be useless here, so he needs to find another way to contribute.

Appearance: Zuri is petite in height and slender in frame. She's cute as button, but much smarter than most expect. Her hair is long and dreaded and has been for a number of years. She has a small waist, round butt, and a small chest.

Special Skills: First Aid, CPR, Marine Biology(she was a double major), Identify poisonous and non-poisonous berries & plants, and can swim pretty long distances.

Biography & History: Zuri had the picture perfect life, mostly. Her parents were together, never a sign of divorce. The young sable colored woman grew up in Oakland, California in the hills where the upper middle class and upper class lived. . Zuri was always the model student, but never arrogant. Blessed with a great education and support system, Zuri was able to pursue many things that she found interesting. After graduating high school as valedictorian, she went out to Berkley University studying both Marine Biology & Nursing.

After graduation, she went on to pursue Marine Biology as a hobby - helping out her local marine community. Simultaneously, Zuri worked as a Nurse at a Children's Hospital. Zuri is out-going, flirty, and very observant. She likes to learn for anything and anyone she can. She enjoys flirting with the right person, even if it doesn't lead to anything more than just friendship or a kiss on the cheek. Although sweet and kind - Zuri observes, very closely. She can usually see through someones bullshit and doesn't like to get too close too soon.

It's probably why she's never had a committed relationship.
