Okay 24 hours might have been slightly off. I spent the night writing posts instead of working on this. I'll get started on the methods after I sleep and the game can start soon after that's done. :-)

I just need a clarification, even though I think my brain is being obtuse and dense about it:

During these posts, we move around the cabins. While we're in a specific cabin, we have to send you a PM about our guess. After we send that PM, can we move out of the cabin that we guessed, or is the last cabin we're in before the round 'ends' the one that our guess is?

The cabin you are in as the round ends and the request for guesses comes is the one you would technically be 'investigating'. Essentially at the end of a round positions are frozen while guesses are tended to. During the active stage you can move through as many cabins as you like.

I assume a round is a few days? Just checking since I'm not on much over the weekend, but you may know that already..

The length of time it lasts is pretty much dependent on how long it takes everyone (or close to everyone) to post. I'm going to send Role PMs out over the weekend to remind everyone that the game has started, even though there aren't actually 'roles' aside from the murderers.

Correct me if I'm wrong here... but this is a lot like Clue right?

Where you go into a room.. investigate via RP.. then PM the GM and say.. "Mr Nutmeg did it in Mrs Hunters Room with the scarf".. or something along those lines?  Then the GM will PM you back one correct guess.. so if you guessed scarf correctly and the room, she'd only tell you one of the correct answers. If you got nothing right then she'd say you have no correct guesses. The idea is to widdle down the guesses to getting the correct combination of Room, Person(s), and Object.

In the mean time Jack Frost and Krampus can kill us off one by one.  So you need to find out who it is, where they did it, and with what before you are killed next.

Am I right on that?

That's pretty much the idea, Josi. ^^ I'm sorry if I didn't make it entirely clear, I assumed between the Rules/Roles/Guidelines, the introduction post and last year's first few posts the idea would be there.

After receiving roles, the game begins upon the Hostess allowing guests entry into the guest cabins to begin their investigations. Each 'hour', a guess of the murderer, method and choice of venue will be due to the Hostess who will confirm one correct guess, or inform you that your guesses were incorrect.

During each round, you must make a post including which cabin you will be investigating. You may change your cabin as many times as you like before the round ends. This is the cabin you will submit in your guess as being the scene of the murder.

You may publicly announce an accusation at any time, but if it is incorrect, you will be removed from the game. If it is correct, you are the winner.

I take that to mean at the end of each round it must be turned in. I'm going to also assume that you can turn in your guess at any time but you have to remain in the room you guessed until that round has passed.
