I spoke with Ciosa today and he's been swamped with work. He will be back with us likely after the Hols. Just hold onto your breeches and all will pick back up soon.

PS I don't have my face claim found as of yet.

EDIT:  I found one!  Fumika Baba

I know the feeling  >_<

And in other news, finally finished my character's history!

Tommie
Originally born in Houston, Texas, Tommie was one of two fraternal twins.  Born to wage-slave elves who lived in a primarily human, hispanic community.  They were more human than elves, really.  Unfortunately it wasn't a simple birth for the two twins.  She and her brother had some minor complications, but the bulk of the problems were with her brother.  They both had the telltale signs of albinism, but only her brother seemed to inherit the light sensitivity and other health problems that accompanied it.  Perhaps that had something to do with her magic potential or maybe it was just a freak coincidence.  It led to other problems growing up, leaving her largely jealous of the attention her brother got while they were growing up.  It caused a small wedge that grew over time as she entered her rebellious, teenage years.

She'd already gotten in trouble with the law a couple of times during her juvenile years, and when she'd finally turned 18 she had already grown so distant from the rest of her family that she decided to run away.  She'd gathered a few friends that she was able to room with for a few days at a time.  She started getting mixed in with smaller gangs, none of the really major players, but as she started to run with these lesser gangs she noticed things started to come a little easier to her than to some of the others.  She didn't necessarily know what to make of it right away.  Eventually she ran into another Adept mostly by chance who explained what it was she was going through.  It was little more than a passing acquaintance, though, and she was left to continue honing her skills on her own.  The first major test of her skills happened to be when the gang she was running with accidentally stepped on the toes of the Chavez Family Mafia who operated in the area.  They took her, and a couple of the other gang members, on as low level soldiers after a little bit of "convincing".  Tommie, having little connection to the gang in all fairness, separated herself from them and slowly rose up to being a more useful member of the Mafia, working on escorting smuggling operations from Texas to Denver through Sioux territory.

The Sioux were where she really started to learn more about what it meant to be an Adept and her skills flourished, though she was still little more than just a hired gun.  Her outlook on life was still just as slanted as it ever was, though she cultivated some relationships with some of the Native Americans in Sioux territory.  She reasoned that it was best to know the people whose land they had to travel through.  She learned a different respect towards life from them as she took the time to learn about magic from one of their Shamans, though their forms of magic were vastly different.  She confided in him some of her own past, actions that she was starting to learn to regret.  Still, she was part of the Mafia and there wasn't really an easy way out--but as long as it was just smuggling contraband she didn't really care.  Smuggling was usually easy enough, a little money to the Sioux Families kept things running smoothly.  Unfortunately the Chavez Family was also intent on moving prostitutes, and "acquiring" more however they could manage it.  What was normally a simple run to Denver turned into raiding a small Sioux settlement.  Tommie did her own measure of the killing, but when she learned about what else was really going on--when she saw the faces of the younger boys and girls her gut turned.  When they stopped next she took the opportunity to free the newly acquired slaves, and killed the majority of the other gunners.  Perhaps due to a penchant for the dramatic she left one of them alive to have him let the bosses know that she was quitting.

She escorted the kids to her Shaman friend to let him know what had happened.  He wished her well and explained that he would take care of everything from there.  He was the one that suggested she try and get as far away from Chavez territory as she could--the Caribbean League was his idea.  He mentioned that he knew someone on the island of Haiti that she could potentially use to find work and so she spent the next few weeks travelling there, working her way through more shadowy modes of transportation to make sure she stayed clear of anyone that might know that the Chavez Family would be looking for her.  Remorseful and alone she eventually ended up at the Port-au-Prince.

I got to confess I've not had the time to look over the system yet, I'm usually better working up characters in hero lab and such, but I've been waffling between some ideas ..

There is couple ideas running around my head..  both Shadowrunners with amnesia.

Jane Corvus (female Giant) Face Claim: Michele Rodriguez
- Basically a bit woman with some skill in driving, mechanics and basically being a big thug looking to make good

The other is a remake of an old character that I played in a game that imploded. Sinclair 'Syn' Dane. She's Sim-starlet type with enough ware to be a walking studio/starting face. I like the look of the Pop Star skin of Akali from some game a friend was talking about. The switch between 'normal' clothing and the blacklight paint she has could also be things like AR and implanted cyberware.

I just need to translate what I've built in the one system into the other.

Shouldn't be too tricky to do either

Covers most of it, a bunch of cyberware might be simpler in the long run, but all of the different gear stuff is on that page above.  There's also merit/flaws to cover Positive/Negative Qualities, which we should probably be able to add to if there are ones you want.

And then the magic stuff is all here:  https://elliquiy.com/wiki/ShadowrunMM

I'm going to bow out to pursue other projects. Be careful out there, shoot good, and don't haggle with a boggle.

Yeah.  It seems RL has swallowed Ciosa whole.
