So, I've decided that I have time for another game, and here it is. I'm kind of interested in telling a story, but I also want to play a character in it, so I want someone to serve as a second or assistant DM with me, and I want this person to largely handle all of the pornographic scenes (though I may help set them up and whatnot). This doesn't mean that the co-DM's only function is to handle eroticism though; he/she should feel free to have a hand in the story telling/world forging/etc, and even have a character of their own if interested.

The main erotic elements present will be: rape/surprise buttsecks (in many forms, and at the hands/tentacles of various exotic monsters and villains), humiliating (primarily sexual) scenarios, such as being kidnapped, drugged, knocked out, tied up, placed in stocks, etc and being abused and/or forced to pleasure their captors, and general fantasy sexiness (finding creative uses for magic or alchemical items, triggering acid traps that only dissolve clothing, etc).

If you choose to play a male character, expect to be raped/abused/humiliated just as much and just as creatively as your female counterparts; the party's hardships should be largely mutual.  :P

That said, I don't want the game to be all about sex; I'd like the characters to bond, grow, experience and interact with/change the world, etc, and I want to see your creativity. I'm thinking that we'll start around sixth level (because I want to play a Nereid from Stormwrack), probably standard gold, rolling 5d6 (take away the lowest two) for ability scores.

So, if anyone has any questions, especially about co-DMing with me, please ask.

Koyume

Well, I'm disappointed by the lack of interest so far, but I know you lot will come around soon enough, so I'm just going to be a bit preemptive and post a rough draft of my character now. Hopefully it will be inspiring somehow.

I've updated my sheet a bit, I think it's pretty much done.

who149

XD I would love to do this!

I saw it before I got approved, but I thought it would have already gotten started

Splendiferous! Are you interested in being a PC or my co-DM?

Yeah, not likely; my games always seem to take a long time to start...  -_-

who149

I would really like to be a PC- but  I could go with co-DM..

Just to get things straight..I have to be a sick sadistic bastard? XD

That's the idea. (☞゚ヮ゚)☞

If you're more interested in being a PC though then you may as well just think about a character for now, particularly since we're probably going to be waiting for more interest for a while.

who149

True :/ level 3 right?

Ill begin working on it (hope people join soon)

Level six actually; I wanted to play a Nereid  :P(which has 3 racial hit dice and a +3 level adjustment).

Same here.

Excellent, I'm glad you're enjoying it ;). How do you feel about the whole co-DMing thing? If you wanted to be an evil DM then maybe we could do kind of a good cop-bad cop deal; I set things up, reward the characters, etc, and you be their depraved persecutor  >:).

I'm tentatively interested in a player spot! c:

What sort of posting frequency/length are you aiming for?

Good, become certain and we're talking.  :P

I'm not really asking for anything special as far as length or frequency; often it's impractical to ask for lengthy paragraphs when a couple of sentences would do, as with a simple reply to another character or posting the result of a saving throw or skill check, I think you're probably the best judge of how long your post should be. And as far as frequency I'm pretty laid back; we all have times when we're busy or unable to access a computer, so my policy is compassion and pragmatism. Just so long as the post makes sense when it does come, it's good.

Meliai

Haha, well that's a bit vague but you can count me in  :-)

I think I'll roll up a Wizard if there's not already a spell caster lined up

Koyume, if you want to play a PC, you're best off passing the DM's seat to Applesauce entirely.  If you want to be the DM, you're best off shelving your nereid.  There are very good reasons DMPCs are so widely reviled, and hearing a DM outright say, "Alright, I want to run this game because I want to play this character," especially with hardly any actual game information?  That is a massive read flag liable to warrant an entirely justified, "Fuck that," from most sane human beings.

Haha, and I take it you've had experiences with Mary Sues in the past, have you  ^-^? It's a sound argument you make, but not a perfect one; for one thing, part of the reason to have a second DM is to dish out punishment to my own character, because doing it to myself just isn't any fun.  ::)

I might consider dropping the dual-DM idea, but I sort've wanted to have a more active role in telling a story than the position of PC provides. Am I justified in assuming that you're interested in joining?

Lycan Queen

Potentially interested, but haven't been on much due to all the new stuff on WoW, and having finally hit 80 for the first time. So yeah, Blizzard currently owns my soul.

Also: I LOVE playing exotic half breeds. Mind if I play something from the Bastards and Bloodlines book?

Probably not; I think it's going to be pretty open, source-wise, at least as long as it's easy to find (I have B&B, so yeah).

Katina Tarask

For half-breeds and exotic races with hit die and level adjustments, I'd suggest gestalt.  The monster race rules suck.  A lot.  Gestalt relieves that considerably.  Otherwise, most exotic races just end up useless and without any real form of advancement.

It's not even a Mary Sue issue.  Even the basic, "The DMPC is a Cleric.  The first encounter is two skeletons.  The DMPC uses Turn Undead.  The DMPC wins," is a huge problem.  It's entirely fair, and if a PC did it, it'd be entirely reasonable, but when the DMPC does it, it ruins the game.  And there's far more to it than that which a second GM doesn't get around, or even abate while piling on extra layers of bureaucracy that would be better served by a single GM without a PC, who's more receptive to player input.

I refer again to the entirely justified, "Fuck that."

Then it seems your presence here is unwarranted; if I change my mind about this, then maybe I'll message you.

I hadn't planned to use gestalt for this, and I've had good experiences in the past with some of the monster races from Savage Species at least. Remember that the primary purpose here is roleplaying; I don't expect it to run like a typical D&D game, and there should be little need for optimization, power-wise.

Lycan Queen

I understand the worries, but I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt. Besides, I've run a few DMPCs, and I don't do any of that. My PCs in my games are usually there to support the party, and I'm just as harsh to my characters as the groups, if not more so.

Meliai

I've actually been in several games with DMPCs that went off without a hitch. In general it just boils down to maturity, and the DM's storytelling ability. Sure, when you wield the almighty stick of Modding you could make a campaign solely focused on putting your own character on a pedestal and forcing the other PCs to play second fiddle but it's just as easy to give everyone equal opportunity to shine.

Frankly the sort of person inclined towards the former is probably not going to be any fun to play with in a cooperative story regardless of their role.

Thinking about playing a Kestrel (halfling/harpy). Don't have my books with me right now, so I'll say for sure when I get home.

LeoStar

Have no fear, more interest is here!  ::) If you’re still looking for players, I’d like to play my human Rogue Emera.

I went a bit over board with the bio, so it’s in the notes section on the character sheet instead of in here. I hope you like it and we can get this RP going.

Koyume

Excellent! That puts the head count at roughly five, so I'd say we have room for one or two more still.
