Personally, I always had to snigger when I headed off to Germany.
It was funny enough having to take the Ausfart (exit) off the autoban, but when you had to take the Ausfart to get to Wankum?
It's been fun, but Elvi has now left the building

I still recall one story about a street campaigning for the place to be renamed. It was originally "Lowsex Drive" or something vaguely similar.

There's a town in N.cal called Weed where they have to keep a very close eye on the signs cause they get stolen all the time. :)

That's was interesting, looks like I had a good way to enrich my english dictionary in particular words. For some reason these words don't appear in my student's edition one ::)
