Faal Vahzah Jun (The True King) is a non-canon Skyrim rp universe that I am planning, constructed with its own plot, settings, characters, and even its own additional lore. If you are an avid fan of the traditional plot and do not enjoy role playing in a vastly different universe that completely alters the canon story, then this blog is probably not for you. I am currently in need of an assistant GM to help me plan out additional aspects of the rp and with some of the writing.

The gist of the plot goes something like this:

In the beginning of the canon story, everyone knows that the rise of the dragons began with Alduin, the World-Eater -- the firstborn of Akatosh. However, in Faal Vahzah Jun, that part of the lore is twisted to which, instead of one, there are two firstborns. Alduin and his brother, Lozulfron, the Bewitcher. While Lozulfron may harbor the mightiness and brute strength of his brother, he is twice as cunning, and just as Alduin as his own unique shout that rains meteors down from the sky, Lozulfron has the power to sway other creatures -- and even lesser dragons -- with a beautiful song-like shout, hence his title "Bewitcher". His song is hypnotic, but some creatures and mortals are immune to it.

At first, when the Dov ruled Nirn, Alduin and and Lozulfron were allies, working together to ensure that the reign of the dragons remained strong and eternal. Their great clan was known as the Firstborns. However, over time, Alduin's arrogance and lust for power clouded his judgment, and craving the leadership of the Dov for himself only, he saw Lozulfron as a threat and a liability. He began to plot against his brother in secret, recruiting several of his loyal followers in a plan of betrayal in which they would ambush Lozulfron and eradicate him. But the ever cunning Lozulfron had foreseen Alduin's plan, and when it came time for Alduin and his followers to exact their plan, they found Lozulfron alone, resting in a cavern. They cornered him there, but when Alduin gave the order to kill, half of his followers immediately jumped to Lozulfron's aide, turning on the World-Eater.

Learning that he'd been deceived, Alduin and the rest of his followers attacked in rage, beginning a battle that would forever tear the trust between the two brothers. It went on for several ours before Alduin finally gave the order for his followers to stand down, and he decided to challenge Lozulfron, one-on-one, to the death. Lozulfron, not wanting to appear weak in the eyes of his loyals, accepted.

And so the brothers fought tirelessly for another several hours, while their followers watched from their respective sides. As formidable and tactful as Lozulfron was, Alduin was bigger and stronger. So when it came to a one-on-one battle between them, Alduin had the upper hand, and eventually, he pinned his brother down, incapacitating him. But Lozulfron had one last trick up his sleeve, in an effort to save himself. Using is tail, he snared one of Alduin's hind legs and caused the black dragon to fumble, then he took a lunge while Alduin was momentarily distracted to sink his teeth into the other dragon's neck, piercing the scales and flesh there. It was enough to force Alduin off of him, and when he was free of his brother's clutches, he turned and made a hasty retreat, fleeing the cavern and taking off into the night sky. Critically injured, Alduin could not concern himself with going after his brother. Those who were still loyal to him stayed with him to aid in his recovery while the rest, whom were loyal to Lozulfron fled to regroup with him.

So the dragons were officially divided as two separate clans. Alduin and his loyals retained the clan name of the Firstborns, while Lozulfron's legion became known as the Pure Supremacy. Today, the two clans are still at war, but the story doesn't end there.

Anyone who has played Skyrim and all of its DLCs knows of Miraak, the first Dovahkiin, who made a pact with Hermaeus Mora to access the knowledge and power that would lead him down the path of total rule over Tamriel. Well, in this plot, Miraak has returned to Tamriel and made himself an enemy of both the Firstborns and the Supremacy. He and his faithful call themselves the Order of Conquest.

And there you have it. Three forces, all fighting each other for total reign of Tamriel -- of Nirn. The Empire of Cyrodiil, the Aldmeri Dominion, and all of the other political factions of the mortal world are irrelevant to them. Only one ruler will stand at the end, under one united force. But which one will it be?

In addition to an unofficial synopsis of the plot, I've created a small list of basic rules to follow. It can be edited and lengthened if necessary.

  • The first and most important thing that you need to know is that this verse has nothing to do with the original Skyrim plot whatsoever. There is no Last Dragonborn/Hero of Skyrim/etc. The only Dovahkiin in this verse is Miraak.

  • There will be no rogue OCs or completely neutral parties. Everyone in this verse must be inclined to offer at least occasional assistance toward one clan or another. Your muse can be somewhat neutral, but they must harbor some sort of favor for either side. For example, my OC Symone is titled “neutral”, but she leans more toward Miraak and assists him exclusively as opposed to the other two forces, depending on the circumstances. If they are not agreeable for her, then she has the right to turn him down. So she’s not utterly committed to him or his allies.

  • Your muse is allowed to gain the power of the Thu'um, but only if it is taught to them throughout the rp. They cannot be born with it.

  • There will be no god-modding of any sort; a.k.a, invincible characters, causing harm to a character that is unnecessary or uncalled for, etc. If you portray any god-modding qualities, you will be given a warning. If the problem persists, then the admin will send you a notification stating that you are no longer allowed to participate in any of the thread’s activities, and you will be evicted.

  • Please be courteous to the other members of the thread. We are all very friendly, and we are here because we want to have fun doing what we do. If any drama ensues, each of us is expected to handle it in a civil and respectable manner.

  • Please, for Arkay’s sake, be active. Don’t join up and then completely disappear off of the face of the planet. If you’re going to be absent for a while due to life issues, vacation, or for any other reason, let us know.

  • You are allowed to portray canon characters. This includes even Daedric Princes, but you will have to make them vital to the original plot somehow. For example, Hermaeus Mora, as you all know, is a source of power for Miraak. Akatosh, I imagine, might grant his aid to either Alduin or Lozulfron. It is up to you how your chosen Daedric Prince is relevant to the story, but you cannot have their actions stray in a way that does not promote the plot in some way.

  • Romance and M-rated themes will be allowed in this universe, but any sexual activities must be taken to a separate one-on-one thread outside of the main thread.
-----------

I also have a character sheet constructed, which will be explained in the application thread later on once the plot and the details have been properly fleshed out. I will be looking for people to portray Alduin and Lozulfron. Alduin, of course, already has a canon appearance and personality fleshed out for him. If you wish to portray Lozulfron, you are allowed to decide how his character is fleshed out, with the exception of his size in comparison to Alduin (who is larger and more battle-built), and his unique shout: "Hon Ahrk Huzrah", which means "listen and heed". The shout produces a song-like frequency that can be heard for miles and has the power to bewitch creatures, humans, elves, and even other dragons, putting them in a hypnosis-like state in which they must follow Lozulfron's every command. However, the shout does not work on everyone -- some are immune to it.

So, is anyone interested and willing to work with me on this?
