Is there a neat way to put a URL into the author section of a quote?

     I tried (removing the brackets)
quote author= url http://lalala, URL here /url and closure

... but that gave me the URL without a link as the usual "author" part...

Somehow, removing the latter /url places the link within the quote itself, but there is this extra url=http://left in the "author" field above the quote.  There is also a single closing bracket left behind the hyperlink.

Is there a way to get the hyperlink into the author field?  I wonder.  (Edit:  Okay, I tried but I can't copy and paste code in Firefox for peanuts.  Sorry.)  You can see what I came out with in https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=60139.msg2735578#msg2735578 at 12:56 am.

[/quote]

results in -
