Seems new ideas are popping up thanks to the SB. Tonight, an idea on a prison facility full of delicious prisoners and guards has come up. Right now the idea is rough but it has potential. Those who apply to be guards are in charge of keeping the prisoners under control by any means necessary. The prisoners, well, they try to make it hell on the guards and on other prisoners. Who is in? More details to be made in short time. Think of it like Oz meets Prison Break, just a lot more violence and sex. This will most likely take it into the extreme with the themes of rape, brutality, romance and all twisted into this group game.

Now, this is an all male prison run by all males. Male, female and liege can join in with male characters.

Okay, here's my character...

Name: Terrence Young
Role: Prisoner (Repeat offender: prostitution and solicitation)
Age: 28

Physical description:  5'10" Dark hair, slim yet toned body.  His chest has a light coating of dark hair which trails and narrows as it approaches his waist.  He has a single tattoo beginning just above his rear.  It is a sharp black tribal design that winds its way up his spine before turning sharply right over his shoulder blade and twisting down his right arm.  He also has a PA piercing.

Terrence (known as just Young to most guards and other prisoners) has been in prison for nearly a year after a few repeat arrests for soliciting sex for money.  The courts obviously thought he didn't learn his lesson the first three times, so they sent him away for a few years to see if that might 'resocialize' him, as they called it.  It was bullshit though.  The punitive system hardly worked in most cases, and being in prison wasn't that bad.  Three hots and a cot was fine with him.

After a few months, he found himself in need of a small income if only to help afford his cigarette habit.  The manual labor offered to prisoners only earned meager wages, and it wasn't the kind of thing he wanted to do anyway.  He decided to try his skills there in the prison.  He heard a couple of others had used that sort of thing at one point or another, so he tried.  It worked like a charm.  He made a quick bit of cash off a couple of guards for a few favors, not to mention it was fun though it was never really about the sex for him.  Sure he enjoyed it, but it was always more like a transaction because he needed something in exchange for it.  The greater thrill was always the risk of getting caught.  It seemed heightened in prison too.  He could easily end up in confinement for doing such things, but the guards or other prisoners seemed to keep it under wraps.  They were just as much at risk as he was.

In the last few months, he has been cutting back on the 'favors' as one of the prisoners has tried to corner him and claim him for themselves.  It was an outcome he had not considered.  Luckily, he was able to stall until a guard came along.  The prisoner left him be for the time being.  Since then, he has been more under the radar, but he finds his future more uncertain now.

Name: Kane Mercer
Role: Warden
Age: 32

Shorter dark hair, kept reasonably tidy, or at least purposefully mussed in appearance. As far as personal appearance, his face is either clean shaven or a bit stubble is allowed, though it never becomes unruly. His clothes are kept neat and tidy, always dressed in whatever proper attire he has, never does he have a casual day. Suits, casual of course (as casual as suits get anyways) are not unheard of for him to wear, otherwise he keeps himself without a wrinkle, without a stain, rip or tear in his attire.

Small History: Raised in a militant household, Kane was given strict upbringing with little in the way of the 'share and care' mentality. As he grew, he adapted quite well to the lifestyle and grew to be quite the proud figure in his father's life. Clean, strict, neat and organized, always punctual and running a tight ship, as Kane grew, he emulated his father's methods in almost every single way. Including going into the marines at a young enough age and excelling there, graduating and rising in rank quickly enough to make even the hardest of men feel a sense of pride.

He eventually found his way into the justice system, having gained plenty in the way of discipline and order when in the armed forces, he was more than prepared for it. It was an odd turn of events that actually brought him to the prison system. Though he certainly found a niche there, though an ambitious man like himself wasn't content with a grunt position. He waited his required time, always doing what he was meant to do and then some before finally getting his chance. When the previous warden gave up his position via a scandal, Kane took the chance. Within months, he found himself at the head of the prison, warden and grandmaster of the inmates and all that fell in other categories.

He took to the position with great ease, as if he had been prepared for it long before he even had obtained it. Within no time, there were guard changes, schedule shifts, and rapid pace income and expenditures that changed the prison. He was known as a fair, but extremely strict warden that brooked no opposition and so long as the inmates behaved themselves, they were allowed their freedoms and their privileges. He was harsh on those that broke the rules, something that he took as a personal assault on himself, sometimes dealing with the prisoners himself.

He has earned a reputation as a strict man who runs a tight ship, a well oiled and efficient machine at that. You do right by him and he will make sure all is taken care of, a motto he holds for the guards and other workers just as much with the inmates.

Here's a rough outline for the prison guard I want to play.

Name: Dominic Slade
Occupation: Prison Guard (and other)
Age: 30

Dominic, known as 'Slade' within the prison, has been working in the prison for a couple of years now, and he's the kind of person who became a guard because of the power it imparts him over other people. He's of average height and slightly muscular build, with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He has no visible tattoos or piercings, but a couple of small scars that are probably the result of being involved in altercations. 

He has a forceful personality, and despite the fact he's not especially physically imposing, he manages to keep most of the prisoners in check fairly well. Though his methods for controlling the prisoner population aren't always honest or moral, many unscrupulous things he does are allowed to slide, either because he gets the job done, or because some of the other guards use the same methods.

One thing Slade probably wouldn't be allowed to get away with if the other guards knew about it, however: he smuggles in drugs as a way to help ensure compliance from certain prisoners. They are either provided with them for certain 'fees', or administered them by force if they're being especially difficult to deal with. Whatever gets him what he wants.

Slade does not back down from anyone when challenged... it's his fatal flaw, and it's gotten him disciplined several times. He has a rather volatile temper, and it's entirely possible that he's sampling some of the drugs he's providing the prisoners with. His routine drug tests always come up clean, but there are ways around that.

Color me intrigued!  I must confess that there are not nearly enough M/M group games most of the time, and I feel that this one would be a welcome addition to my bookmarks!

Name: Charles Donovan
Role: Prisoner (Breaking and Entering, Assault, Burglary, Grand Theft Auto, Resisting Arrest:  The list goes on.  However, his record is completely clean of any drug-related offenses, and there are no charges of homicide or grievous injury.)
Age: 27 (?)
Physical description:
Mr. Donovan is the last sort of man you would expect to be capable of committing any sort of noteworthy crime.  Not on purpose at any rate.  He clearly takes very good care of himself, but no matter how much he exercises or eats his physique maintains a sort of wiry athleticism that is at once intriguing and unnerving to the eye.  It is a slightly unusual yet still unassuming build that lends itself well to getting out of harm's way.  The only intimidating thing about it is his height: at 6'9" he is decidedly taller than most people, yet for some reason he still has a tendency to blend into the background and seems slight enough to fit into surprisingly tight spots.

One could say that his face has a sort of classic charm, handsome yet not without some rough edges and endearing imperfections.  He is notoriously poor at shaving and generally has a fair amount of scruff on his face, along with a few pink nicks for his trouble.  His eyes are far too blue and gentle for someone who has been in and out of prison so many times, as if the innocent spark of youthful mischief has yet to be extinguished no matter how hard life has tried to snuff it out.

Small History:

Charles Donovan is merely an alias, an identity taken early on after apparently removing himself from the rest of whatever family he may have once had.  His accent is a peculiar mix of Irish lilt and Southern twang, making it even more difficult to figure out his origins.  He is a true mystery, a man without a background except for whatever story he thinks to cook up at any given moment.  He is a very closeted individual in this regard, enjoying the privacy he's gained by cutting off any and all ties with his past. 

He prefers to be recognized solely by his criminal career and rather impressive accomplishments.  For the past seven or so years he has worked as a professional thief, finding his way into heavily guarded areas on the salaries of increasingly wealthy individuals.  Donovan is a very flexible man--quite literally in fact.  He is capable of contorting his body in many rather obscene and outrageous ways, allowing him to slip into ventilation systems, cramped sewers, beneath floor grating, and any number of other cramped quarters with relative ease.  It also makes him a devilishly tricky bastard to get a hold of, as he has displayed quite a prowess for acrobatics as well.  Mr. Donovan is not an expert combatant by any means, being purportedly self-taught, but he is extraordinarily skilled at getting out of unpleasant situations and turning things in his favor.

Donovan was admitted into the prison several months ago, just another in a long line of incarcerations that fail to stick for very long.  Sometimes he is merely released under mysterious circumstances, while on other occasions he actually manages to escape under his own power.  Prison life doesn't seem to phase him in the slightest, if his sunny optimism truly isn't just an act.

Physical description:

Lean, slender but athletically muscled. At first glance Mark doesn't seem all too strong. Standing 5'9" sure doesn't help this impression either. An educated eye, however, would recognize this build as a well trained and well kept Martial Artist build. This skill also shows in common movement. Mark seems rather elegant.

Dark brown, nearly black eyes that hold lighter brown dots. Short kept black hair with a blue sheen.
Also noteworthy would be his long hands and fingers.

Small History:

Not all that much is known about Mark, and he likes it that way. It aided him greatly in the underbelly of the world and earned him some pretty nice cash. It never mattered to him who he was hired by, just as long as the job was fun and the pay was good, he'd grant his skills and have a blast.
Of course his somewhat careless nature had some sideeffects. Namely the sheer fact he created enemies left and right while 'just doing his job'. This was also how he got incarcerated. One or the other opened up a can of worms to the US government, probably out of spite, maybe out of vengeance, and Mark was quickly swiped from the boardmeeting he was attending in NYC.

Physical description: Over six feet tall, thinning brown/grey hair, a large Roman nose and lantern jaw.
Physical Picture:
Small History: John Holmes is a man seriously out of his depth. A Prison Officer all his working life, up until now he's been assigned to mostly Low or Medium Security prisons; finding himself assigned to a 'Supermax' was a shock for him, especially at his age. Personality-wise, he's much like the character of Henry Barrowclough from the BBC comedy series Porridge (incidently the only comedy series ever set in a prison); a genial and warm-hearted man, who genuinely believes that Prison Officers have a duty to rehabilite prisoners and make them fit to rejoin society as productive and well-adjusted citizens. This tends to be the source of much mockery when his back is turned.

Physical description:  Jace is multi-racial, white, Hispanic and Asian blood through through his veins.  He stands 6'3" and weights in at 245, all solid muscle.

Small History:

Jace has been in prison since the age of 16 when convicted for a gang related double murder.  Some say he was railroaded and took the conviction to protect his younger (by 9 months) brother, who is now a successful doctor.  Jace, he isn't talking.   
Twenty-one years in prison has taught him a few things about survival.  You either do or are done to.  Jace is a doer.  He keeps his nose clean as far as the Warden and the guards go, but he is a lifer and there's not much left that can be done to him.  He won't even be up for parole until he's in his late sixties.  Supplied with legit prison currency by his brother, cigarettes, candy etc., he barters for what he wants, or needs.  His size gives him some protection as well.  He had one love affair early in his incarceration that taught him both the danger and joys of prison love.   
He currently has no lover, though he is always scoping the new comers to see if their might be someone interesting to whom he could offer his protection.

Name: Jake Stevenson 'Jay'

Role: Prisoner

Age: 23

Physical description: Extremely well toned and fit due to his period in the force, he values his physique very highly. His body is slightly tanned as he often ventured out of his home (before his time in prison) and walked in the hot Sun for many hours with no particular aim in sight. The tattoos that cover the front of his body continue on his back also; the dragon upon his shoulder continues to wind down his back, the tip of the tail finishing just above his hip bone.

Small History: Ex-military, discharged on medical grounds. Part of the bulk of a front line force, he couldn't handle the traumatic events that unfolded on the battlegrounds he fought on, going into panic attacks, fits of depression and even mania. He was discharged after only two months in service and went against his Captain's advice of seeking medical help upon arriving back in the civilian world; using alcohol instead to self-medicate his problems.

While being discharged, he felt a great deal of shame in the fact that he couldn't handle the responsibility; that he had failed in his duty and the men that he had fought beside. He suffered a great deal of depression regarding the topic, and  shut himself away in his house, not once venturing out in the seven months between his discharge and prison sentence.

As the rent on his property grew, he received many calls from his landlord, all of which were ignored due to the deep self-containment his mind created; effectively sealing himself from anyone and everything else. Eventually the man came directly into his house, and Jay was deeply disturbed by the man invading his personal space and privacy, lapsing into something of a trance in which he violently strangled the landlord, killing him in cold blood. The reason behind such a violent reaction is unclear, though the most likely cause is the disturbance of an extremely tense mental state; something of a tragic accident.

Once the red mist had left him however, he came to realise what he had done in killing another human being outside of war, and the guilt coupled with depression effectively caused his mind to split into two personalities in order to deal with his crime.

One side is his default 'setting', where he is fairly pleasant and well-mannered, with nothing out of the ordinary about him as he is completely ignorant to any wrong-doing on his part. Should he somehow be reminded of his crime, however, the guilt spikes within him, and as his mind cannot handle it, as a defensive mechanism he shifts into his other personality.

That is a deeply reserved and quiet personality, left to bare the guilt so that the natural personality doesn't have to; he becomes extremely withdrawn and submissive for an extremely long period of time until he is somehow removed from the situation. In this state he is also extremely volatile, able to suddenly lash out at a moment's notice should anyone come too close in much the same way as he lashed out at his Landlord. As this suggests, when in this state he is deeply resentful of anyone coming into his ‘personal space’, though where the boundary of aid space is can be difficult to tell.

Name: Nick 'Wasp' Lewis

Physical description: 

About 5'8"-9" tall, weighing in at a paltry 10.5 stone (147lbs for you heathens), Nick is hardly a big guy. What muscle he does have is pretty clear; not because he works out religiously, or at all for that matter, but because he has next to no fat on his body, thanks to an overactive metabolism. Nicknamed 'Junior' by his friends from college, he rarely needs to shave - often walking around with a 5 o'clock shadow for weeks - and he seems to radiate this quality of innocence. Possibly due to his blue eyes and wide smile. With hardly any hair anywhere on his body, its no surprise that he keeps his (brown) hair on his head short. Somehow, though, it always ends up messy anyway, looking like he just got out of bed.

Small History:

With both parents in the computing industry, it was no surprise that Nick would become a computer genius. From the age of 10 he was learning programming from first his parents and then self-help books. At college, he majored in Computer Science, with emphasis on programming, both standard and AI. Straight after leaving college he was snapped up by IBM, and quickly became one of their best junior programmers, on the short-track to the top of the department. But, as is often the case, Nick was not exactly who he appeared to be.

At the age of 14, he watched the film Swordfish, with Hugh Jackman playing a hacker who got swept up into the dealings of a terrorist, or something like that. Anyway - he became obsessed with hacking into computers and networks. It wasn't out of any malicious intent, it was the excitement of breaking the security, and just sheer curiosity. As soon as he'd gained access, he got bored. His obsession started out small, breaking into first his parents' email accounts, and then his teachers' accounts on the school network, soon breaking the entire school network apart. As his skills grew, so did his targets. Companies fell to his fingers, although none of them were any the wiser. He had so much power at his fingertips, but he never used it maliciously, only going through files and documents just to prove to himself that he could. Eventually, Nick - who by now had become famous in hacker circles, under the nickname 'Wasp' - decided to hack the big one. The FBI.

All was going well, he'd broken into the system and was perusing some of the more, ah, interesting files, when he stumbled upon some particularly classified files. Triggering a system alert he hadn't realised was there, Nick had to bail out quickly, covering his tracks with re-routed IP addresses and untraceable server connections. He thought he'd made it out safe. A year and a half went by, during which he graduated college and got his job at IBM (ironically, one of the companies he'd hacked in his early years). Unfortunately, all that time, the FBI were silently tracing his untraceable steps. Eventually, they caught up to him, and came to get him. Thrown in front of a closed court, so they wouldn't have to deal with the embarrassment of the public knowing that a 21 year old had hacked into their system and looked through their files, Nick was sentenced to 5 years in jail, with a minimum of 3 years imprisonment.

Key Characteristics: Sly, secretive, deceptive, shady, two-faced, quiet, soft-spoken, observant.
Brief History: Coming from the city streets, Deimos has always had a hard life. His mother a whore, his father a coke fiend, they weren't exactly the most nurturing of parents. Since he was very young he was schooled in the art of manipulation by life lessons. He became a master at manipulating both people and events. He will do almost any thing if it benefits him. He is both sly and conniving. He is seen as a great tool to have- often called upon by certain men of power to learn of secrets he had scavenged. He is called a street rat by those who dislike him, but he doesn't necessarily take it as an insult, given that rats can survive even in grim situations. He prefers to work under one person solely, giving that person his loyalty unless he finds another fitting of it. He is two-faced and will stab any body in the back to get where he wants to be. He has never loved or cared for another person, only looking out for himself, unable to afford the risk of sharing his life with another. This is the first time he's been sentenced to prison and though he is a little wary of the thought, he is sure he will be able to make it. Though he is physically weak, he can still kill- given he doesn't have to rely upon his own strength. Naturally, he does not want to seem a threat and so claims he was sentenced for multiple accounts of drug abuse and identity theft. Physical description: He has short blond hair and green eyes. Galen tends to wear priestly robes nearly all the time to remind himself of what he has become. His clothing is immaculate and always freshly pressed. No body hair litters his skin since he keeps himself well shaven and his hair is always combed neatly. Galen stands at 5'11" and has a very muscular body for someone who is in his chosen profession. There are no tattoos on any visible part of him but he does have one on the upper part of his right hip. It looks like just a piece of rope twined into the shape of a long twisted nail and has significant meaning to those in the bondage circle. Such a tattoo signifies that he was once a member of the Velvet Rope, a popular bondage club.
Small History: Galen grew up in a heavily religious family where his father was a priest and his mother an organist. They had two sons and for a time isolated both of them due to their choices in life. Galen used to be a wild animal in the past, going to bondage clubs all the time and picking up men and women left and right. It was around the time when he turned twenty that he realized he preferred men and started going to the Climactic Orgasms, a local homosexual bondage club. In all truth, he liked being a switch, enjoying to top men on some days and bottom for them on others. Why settle for just one when you could have both? He lived a rather promiscuous life for years until one night a psycho went on a murderous rampage and killed everyone in the club except for him. From that moment on, Galen believed he had seen the light of God shine down upon him. And that was when he decided to leave the bondage scene and devote himself entirely to becoming a priest. In the following years he tried to keep away from the bondage scene while concentrating on his studies but was unable to do so completely. In fact, he gave into his desires and joined the Velvet Rope, obtaining the tattoo shortly after entry. Feeling guilty, he restricted himself to one session per week and attempted to keep it a secret from everyone he knew. He even gave a false name to the club itself to keep his identity from being exposed. Time passed and Galen graduated from his classes and cut down on going to the Velvet Rope even more. He had originally intended to stop completely but apparently it was beyond him. Now he only went once a month. What was amusing, was ever since he had gotten his certificate for being a priest, his parents had reestablished contact with him, apparently they had forgiven him for his earlier transgressions. The newest development in his life was when a prison contacted him, wanting to hire him for their own uses and he had accepted and is now on his way to his new job hoping that he will be able to bring the light of God to those at the prison.

I was but then it died for a long time.  I took on some new RPs in its place, so I really can't come back to it, at least not right now.  I might just put my character in solitary for a while or something until I can come back.

So, I've noticed that at least five people I like to RP with seem to be doing a lot of posting in the OC chat for this game. Seeing as how so many I RP with are already in here... I may as well join in the fun. I've found myself lacking in games lately, and this seems like my kind of thing. Now, to come up with a character.... hmmmm...

I am partial to a certain butler, making him human and sticking him in prison might be too much of a shock to his delicate nature though. *snickers* What is your position on having one non OC who may as well be my OC at this point? I do play him quite well. I was thinking it might be fun to have him be the cook.

I was also entertaining the idea of playing multiple characters. Perhaps the cook and an inmate too. Would two characters be too much for one person to play here? I've noticed everyone else seems to be playing only one character. I'm quite skilled at doing multiple characters within a thread, especially if they will only sparingly have scenes together. I could even add a third character for the sake of helping speed things up a little and get the overall story moving. My third would be a guard, as I know there is a shortage of them.

Altheras, some of us are playing various characters but we should be fine with having a prison cook. Just put up a character sheet and you should be fine.

Alright, I was thinking of making the cook also an inmate, but he cooks also to earn a bit extra towards his various fines while he's in there. It means that a lot of the recreation time he would have is taken up cooking since he has to deal with three meals a day. Also, do you think he is the sole cook for the whole prison? How many guards and inmates are there? Is it so big that there would be a full kitchen staff, or just one or two people?

Also, I think I would like to do 2 characters. My other one will be an inmate. ^_^

Well I have to figure out if he needs super human powers to be able to feed the whole prison by himself or not Eros. XP If so, he'll be even more like Sebastian than I intended. >.> *cough* This character will be almost entirely an OC, I even have a picture picked out for him, as well as my other one. I will post their profiles shortly.

I am sure there will be a slew of NPC cooks and helpers to feed the twenty or so prisoners in the place.

Hmmm, with a prison that small, there would be a small staff to feed the inmates and guards. Probably about three actual cooks, supervised by someone who isn't an inmate at all, but a civilian, probably someone with some police training though to deal with the inmates they supervise. I suppose other inmates could take up some cooking duty to work towards fines as well, and I know a lot of inmates do things like wash dishes and the like. Alrighty, profiles coming in my next post.

Name: Sebastian Nakamura
Role: Cook/Inmate
Age: 21
Physical description: Tall for an Asian and trim as they typically are. He is thin enough that he would be unhealthy if he lost any weight. His skin is pale but not strikingly so. His hair is black and glossy, medium length going down to his shoulders. He often lets it get in his eyes, and his bangs are only slightly shorter than the rest of his hair. He has dark brown eyes that are almost black. He takes care of his appearance, even though he is in prison. He is often very concerned with the state of his clothing and mends them if they are damaged.

Small History: He grew up in America born to Japanese parents who gave him the name Sebastian, because they thought it would fit in better. His childhood was fairly normal and he graduated high school with top grades. He ended up taking a job as a butler for a wealthy family to save up money for college. His parents supported him in this as they wanted him to make his own way in the world.

When he had only been working there for a few short years, the head of the family was murdered. He denies doing it, but the murder was pinned on him. Money exchanged hands, and the butler was convicted of the crime, sentenced to life in prison for a crime he still violently denies committing. He personally professes that one of the rich man's relatives killed him for his money.

Sexually he is a bi sexual switch and an opportunist. He loves sex, and isn't afraid to be on the giving or receiving end, though he is unlikely to force himself on someone. He is far from innocent and a very experienced lover.

(I can add more, but I would kind of like to ease him into being the cook and start with him coming to the prison. If he needs to already be there, I can elaborate a bit more and explain how his life at the prison has been going?)

Role: Inmate
Age: 26
Physical description: Trim enough to look almost unhealthy, he doesn't eat well and never has. His skin is very pale, making his dark black hair stand out in stark contrast to his skin. His eyes are a deep greenish blue. His hair is feathered and messy looking, and goes down to his ears length wise. He can have an outward appearance of being punkish and disrespectful of authority, but deep down he's really quite humble.

Small History: He grew up with an abusive single father who beat and raped him for most of his life. The man blamed him for his mother's death. He ran away as a older teenager before he even graduated high school. He had been making terrible grades due to his abusive home life and was two years behind due to failing grades. His father's abuse had only gotten worse the more he failed, and when he could no longer stand it, he finally ran.

He ended up living the life of a punk on the streets. He would steal and sell his body to put food in his own mouth, and spent a brief time addicted to drugs. He took the fall for the murder of a drug dealer. He doesn't deny it when asked and simply remained silent at his trial allowing them to convict him. He is often quiet and tends to be very much a wallflower in nature. His mouth can get him into trouble when he does speak.

His sexual orientation is gay and he is almost strictly a bottom. His father's abuse gave him a taste for pain and turned him into a complete submissive.
