Thank you all for the welcome!  Yay!

So I've had a few thoughts for possible power sets and I'd like feedback and opinions.  Not just from Sun, if any of you has thoughts, please share!

Power Set 1 - Sizemorph/Shrinking
- So the idea here would be something like Marvel's Ant-Man or The Atom in basic premise.  Being able to shrink from full size down to a minimum height, and the in-between, as well as a shift in mass.  I saw this being a bit more like the comics version of The Wasp rather than Ant-Man strictly; rather than be normal strength at a small size, he'd actually get stronger when he was small, so able to do incredibly jumps, lift surprising things, hit hard, etc.  It could include a toughening effect also but it would be more along the lines of resilience rather than the kind of nigh-invulnerability even on the level of Luke Cage, think more like Spider-Man in that he really take more of a beating than he should be able to.  In terms of a minimum height, I didn't know what would be too much.  I didn't see him being able to go subatomic or even to the molecular scale but possible down to a centimeter.  However, that might be too exploitable.

Power Set 2 - Sizemorph/Growing
- Kind of a trend, huh?  Anyway, a la Giant-Man, Colossal Boy, or Giganta, the idea here would be getting bigger and gaining super strength and toughness as he does so.  My thought would be that it would be variable to an extent; he'd have a maximum size but could go to anywhere in-between.  So if his maximum height is 30', he could also go to just 10' or what have you.  This might be the wrong game for a power like this, as it would attract attention and be hard to hide, but I've kind of had a hankering to play a giant in a supers RP for a while.  Interesting issue on if his clothes would grow too or not...hrm.  Might end up being The Indecent Man or The Flasher if not, lol.  Another note here would be that in super hero media, we generally see someone who becomes giant start moving in slow-mo for some reason, but that wouldn't be the case here.  He's still move just as quickly and have normal reflexes, though due to a longer stride, he could technically run faster.

Power Set 3 - Elasticity/Stretching
- Like Elasti-girl, Mr. Fantastic, Plastic Man, or the Elongated Man.  I would see this as more like Elasti-girl or Mr. Fantastic than Plastic Man (whose powers are actually really bonkers powerful).  Stretching and a degree of low level super human strength and toughness (particularly to kinetic energy), also able to shape himself into useful but rough forms such as a parachute, etc.  He could also kind of web-sling for travel like Spider-Man by stretching out his arms and legs, slip under doors, that kind of thing.  I don't know if this would be too powerful just because of the sheer utility it could have.

Power Set 4 - Intangibility
- Like Kitty Pryde or The Vision (though just the phasing part of his power set), he could go intangible to pass through matter on a selective basis.  So he might not necessarily go intangible and fall to the planet's core but could go through a wall, a hail of gunfire, etc.  The way I see it, there would be some limits.  When intangible, he could breathe, so he could only stay intangible for a maximum time equal to how long he could hold his breath.  While I like the idea of him being able to make other things intangible (Make the bad guy's jacket intangible and stick it partly in a wall to briefly immobilize, that kind of thing), I think that's a bit too powerful.  There's also always the risk of materializing inside of something or someone, which would cause a hell of a lot of pain to both individuals and possibly cause damage to inanimate objects.  If we take a route with the power exactly like Kitty, while he could avoid most energy attacks, electricity would still harm him.

On set #4 we have a PC who is 'imperceptible'. It is different but it's the one with the most potential crossover.

I'm fine with a sizemorph who can grow and shrink. Growing would be fun for particular missions but almost certainly impractical a lot of the time and comes with it's downsides (Drawing attention, being a huge target and even while giant still not being able to brawl with the big names who's attention it might grab etc.) I don't think it would be a good solo power and I'm fine with a character who can shift both ways particularly when it doesn't go to extreme Ant-Man levels (Certainly not early).

Regarding exploitation of powers - they're basically all exploitable if you really try - just don't actively try to deliberately exploit it for absurd reasons and it'll be fine. I am happy to trust people as long as everyone understands that if you try to use your PC's powers in a way that they 'technically' can but that is completely un-fun and breaks the plot, other people's enjoyment or the setting I will still veto it. Still, I'm sure nobody intends to try to do anything like that.

I don't see elasticity being too powerful. It's fun but it's never struck me as especially problematic. I would be happy to have that or a sizemorph, they're both somewhat rarer powersets and I'm sure would be fun.

Okay.  Unless anyone else has opinions then, I think I'll go with the Sizemorph who can shrink and grow.  I've wanted to play someone with that power set for a while!

A question on face claims; if we use someone who's been around a while, can we use the "young" them or should face claims be age appropriate to both the character and the face claim?

Settled on a concept with Sun. A sort of baseline ultra human type (Captain America) with a bit of healing factor and some extras....yes I'm totally ripping off Wolverine, but...if you're going to steal steal from the best.

Instead of obsessing on the person you want to be, focus on who you DON'T want to be. It's much easier to not do certain things than to break your head on some ideal of yourself.

When the dust settles, you may find out you've become who you were supposed to be all along.

You can use any age as long as you can find at least 2-3 appropriate pictures. I might make exceptions if there are less and you really want someone. As long as there are photos I'm fine with it though.

As I said before I'm always surprised there aren't more wolverine types in original games.

And in your box, Sun.

I'm not sold on the phrasing but I'll look the CS over!

A question as I work on my CS!  So for size-changing powers, there's a question of clothing.  Would his clothes change with him or would he need a special fabric/material for them to do so?

Either way is fine, but if his clothes don't change I may need to know if it would be possible for him to get an outfit of special material (which he would have broken in to someplace and stolen, probably) or if he'll have to carry changes of clothes for a while.

I'm fine with his clothes changing somehow. I can't see it breaking the game. At least early on I'd say just somewhat 'hand-wave' it so that he can't start shrinking things he's holding, flinging them and having them become massive. Later on, maybe, but best to leave that for a development in time. It doesn't all need to be perfectly logical, really.

All good.

I think there's about five CS's I'm trying to wait on to get the game open. I would love to open some sandbox threads this weekend - if I do please still work on your CS and join in when you can. It wont affect your ability to take part.

If none of them are in / done by Saturday I'll probably leave it until mid-week if I can find the time mid-week otherwise it may be delayed until next weekend instead of this one.

I'm just about done with my sheet. All I really have left to finish is the history and I'll be ready to send it in. Once I'm out of meetings today I can get back to it.

Gondor calls for aid!  ...er, I mean, I do!

So, I'm having trouble with an alias for my fellow.  I've tentatively settled on Sledgehammer (since there are a wide range of sledges of different mass for different tasks, which kind of goes with different size/mass) but I'm not in love with it.  I'd be glad to crowd source an alias!  Does anyone have suggestions or ideas?  I hope to get my revisions to Sun before I head out on the road later this afternoon, but I figured it's worth asking now.

The only thing that comes to my mind is like more mythology ideas like Jotunn or Titan as they normally have large size and power ideas behind their myth.  Or Literature wise Gulliver.  Best I got but someone else suggested my codename so I'm probably not the best at this.  ;D

I thought of Titan but that's taken by one of the NPCs (could a giant fight be coming? OMG!) and I might go Jotunn if he was Scandanavian.  I like that you went there though.  Gulliver...that's good.  That has some real potential.  And it's kind of nerdy and not cool, which suits him as a character.

Ratio is good.  So I'm thinking of either going with Gulliver or Ratio at this point.
