This can go many ways, but I was thinking that your character would be a pirate, who goes into one of these sex places and orders a Gelatin for the first time you are coming in contact with them. You really like all the applications of what the Gelatin can do and so you kidnap it and take it aboard your ship. I'm fine with wherever this goes as far as one shot, or even a longer story.
