The Queen has ruled for 200 years, with blood and magic. She has the Power to control ALL the elements, but her corruption of nature and spirit has brought the Land to begin to die. Her armies are vast and ruthless. When she should be using her Power to help the land, she takes it into herself to make herself stronger. Once a year she goes to a secret place to perform a ritual with the one she trusts most.

The Queen has spies and assassins everywhere, and has systematically killed anyone she has heard of with any inkling towards elemental powers. But somehow four people managed to slip under her radar. Four hero's the Prophecies have told about to be those that came together to defeat the Queen and bring the Land back to its former glory.

Personality: She is a fearless and fearsome leader, known to be ruthless and cold, seemingly holding not an ounce of pity or warmth in her heart. Does she even have a heart? Some will say it shriveled away centuries ago, yet they would never say it aloud. She cares for nothing but making the entire Kingdom of Glavnon fall to their knees before her. Darkly seductive, decidedly evil.

Biography: She was born into Clan nobility, so very long ago. She was raised in wealth and privlidge. Though she was a high-born daughter, she was the only one, surrounded by brothers. It was with those brothers she was taught the basics of battle. How to ride, how to grip a sword. Yet one silent night Raiders fell upon them, killing her family, and being taken as a slave herself, as well as her entire Clan. Yet she refused to succumb. Even as the raiders swept through the land she knew and took prisoners, she did as she was told, always, quickly becoming a favorite. She watched, she listened. She became very close to the old Raider Witch, helping the woman with anything and everything, learning all she could. Slowly but surely, she was becoming quite formidable. She was learning how to control the Elements, the Witch always praising her for her quick mind, for her skills.

Though she was culling favor with her captors, she was also gaining friends with the prisoners. She was vibrant, outspoken in winning free of their captors, a born leader. She was dynamic and soon enough had many willing to follow her lead, so when the night came that she said it was time, the Rebellion that she herself began swept through the Raiders, killing them all. She killed with sword, and she killed with magic. Her skills at both were immense already.

Time went by, and she became Queen. Righteous and well loved. She used her ever more considerable Power to help those in need, leading her growing armies to eradicate any who dared to think to take over what she was building as her own. But, as time continued to go by, things began to change. She spent much time delving into the Occult, and how to gain complete control of all the Elements, finally coming across an ancient ritual she began to use faithfully. Yet, she had to be the best, the strongest, the most Powerful. She began to send her armies out to kill any who dealt in magic, especially those who had even a whisper of Elemental Power. She would lead many a battle herself, bathing in blood. Eventually, she became the ruthless woman she is now. Stunningly beautiful, able to kill with a thought, or a blade. Enjoying her singular rule. Many who had been at her side when she was kind left, but there were those that stayed, worshiping her for the Goddess she believed she was.

Now the land is slowly dying, all due to the rituals she performs to strengthen herself. The Rebellion she once lead now seeks to rid themselves of her. Whispers of the Prophecy of the Four coming true reach her ears. She sends out her assassins on a regular basis. She does not fear the Prophecy.

Combat Information: Xenoa is quite proficient in battle, her hand-to-hand skills unparalleled. She is an excellent horsewoman as well. She is ruthless, and will show no mercy, though she has been known to seemingly do so to gain information, only to finish off the informant once she has what she wants. Usually in a quite slow and agonizing way.

Weaknesses: Hubris; Xenoa feels she cannot be touched, as she has always managed to eliminate any who showed even an inkling of Power. She also at her weakest that one time a year when she must perform the ritual that not only strengthens her elemental Power again, but also keeps her youthful countenance and beauty. After said ritual, she slips into an almost coma like sleep for at least 2 days.

Sexual Information: In all things she is very dominant, including with the occasional 'toy' that might gain her attention. She has a tendency to break them though...

(There is the possibility of needing a single player to be someone who knows more then the average villager of the Prophecies, is connected to the Rebels, and who might see an Elemental use their Power at some point, hence opening up the " come join the fight for Good" aspect of the game. PM me if you have a good idea for this particular char!)

To begin the story, each Elemental will come into their Powers on their 18th birthday. They will not know they have the Power until an event (up to player) causes them to use their Element simply by instinct. We shall also begin with a large event, like a Fair in honor of the Queens Coronation, to be able to bring most all players together in the same spot.
The end result of this story will be the Queens death. I expect the Elementals to eventually come together, honing and strengthening their Powers, with the intent on taking the Queen out and bringing Peace to the Land and its People. The Queen will only be able to be bested if all the Elementals work together.

The Queen has utter control of all the Elements, including Spirit, which she uses in a corrupt manner to give her strength, and keep her youth and beauty; doing a secret ritual once every year. The Land surrounding her Castle has begun to die, miles of wasteland, but she cares not.





This is just an extra interest check for right now. I will expand on the story idea more (Kingdom name, city names, and the such) if more interest is garnered. I plan on this being a Sandbox style game, though as GM I will toss ideas out as they come to me during play. This requires the players to interact on their own and move the story along on their own -for the most part-.
I am a bit picky when it comes to post length. I expect players to put effort into their posts, and be descriptive. By no means do they need to be a book, but at least a couple/few paragraphs per post is expected. This WILL NOT be a fast paced game. I personally can't really post more then once every couple of weeks (and sometimes if that!), and that's if my muse isn't being a bitch. I don't expect any more from those involved. If it does move faster between other players that's fine. I am seeking DEDICATED players! People who are willing to stick the game out, even if posting slows a bit. We all know the muse can be finicky, but sometimes slow but steady can win the race!

Once enough interest with enough possible players has been generated, I will make a char sheet template, and will ask for character ideas to be PM'd to me, where I will pick through applicants. Feel free to post any questions here, or PM me with them.

My tentative goal is to begin the game next weekend, but things will not begin until all characters from those who have expressed interest are completed and posted up. I am hoping to still garner more interest, as I'd like to see  both more evilness as well as Rebel-ness. If you have expressed interest, and don't think you can get things done in this timeline, or have changed your mind on joining, please PM me ASAP.

There will more then likely only be 1 thread to begin the game this time around. Once things get going there may be more added, such as a Rebel camp thread, and a Queens castle thread.

Aden The Immortal

Personal Information:

Name: Aden the Immortal (Brandon Stroud)
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male (subject to change depending on Vessel)

Personality:
Aden is a psychotic masochist and sadist, he has no regard for human life, or any other life for that matter, and will willing do heinous things to innocent people. He is a monster, through and through. He derives a personal pleasure from stalking the families of people whose body he has used as a vessels; Some of these he merely let watch as he inflicted corporal damage upon himself while in their loved ones body, others he kills and keeps part of them as trophies. Aden holds the Queen above everyone else, as it is she who lets him into his new vessels, and she who seals him in it, thereby taking the spirit of the inhabitant for herself, allowing Aden to take its place permanently. He used to enjoy teasing the advisers and agents around the Queen who were not privy to his identity, by telling them tales of their grandparents or parents. Aden is further scorned by regular people for his habit of engaging in ritual cannibalism, a ritual he takes great pride in, doing it slowly and precisely, usually while the subject is still alive, at least to start with. His devotion to the Queen is as genuine as it can get, he remembers the Queen who was devoted to her subjects, who tried to get the Lords and Ladies to stop using slave labour. He remembers when she started to change, he remembers how he adored her still. Aden can be mischievous though, and quite jester-like when in a good mood, often walking around singing profane songs.

Biography: Aden was born 185 years ago ago, making him only 15 years younger than the Queen, if one was to count be years since birth. He was a lowly slave who worked on the fields close by the Queens castle. When he fell in front of the Queen's carriage one evening as she was returning to the castle, she decided to make an example of him. The Queen tortured him endlessly for days. The Queen began to realize that Aden, pain in the old peasant tongue, was a soul unlike any she had ever seen before. His body yielded time and time again to physical agony, but his spirit only seemed to crave more and more as she went on. Realizing the potential in such a inhumane creature, she bound Aden's soul, his spirit, to a gem, a gem that was placed as an eye in a statue in her throne room, so that she might always see when her monster was ready to serve. And so it came to pass, that when Aden's first body died in brutal combat, his spirit, instead of fading, travelled to the gem, that lit up as his soul had recovered long enough. The act of being removed from the death perverted the already monstrous soul further, and when the Queen implanted his soul into the body of a commander of her army who had failed her, she watched with interest as the body twisted to the whims of the dark soul. The skin paled and all colour left his hair, his eyes turned black and his teeth sharpened. The being that stood before the queen, begged her to inflict immeasurable pain upon his new form. Aden had a set of armour made, molded after his old bones. This figure of dread was sent out to stalk the countryside, seeking out dissidents and those not obeying their queen. His white and black visage came to be legend, sending just as much dread into the minds of the citizens as a contingent of soldiers.

Aden would die again 5 years after being revived, and his spirit returned to the crystal, resting for a year before getting put into a new body. So the legend of Aden, the Immortal, came to be, a fairytale told to children at night to encourage their obedience. Few believe the tale these days, as Aden has slept for over a hundred years, his soul twisting itself further through memories of agony, both of inflicting and receiving. As of late, those not of a strong stomach has started feeling a sickening feeling whenever they enter the throne room. Those used to the Queens presence registers it only just as something not quite right. Now the gem stirs once more, and the monster inside wants to be let out, sensing his Queens rage and her willingness to let him out, no rules attached, to slaughter once more and bathe in the blood of his victims.

Appearance: The body Aden currently possesses is the body of Queen's Guard Captain Brandon Stroud, who failed to comply with an order to kill a child assassin sent to kill the Queen. As he was about the be executed in the throne room, the Gem holding Aden's soul stirred and let his will be known, he desired the good Brandon's body for himself. As with all bodies Aden takes, certain changes happens to it. The eye ball turns jet black, the iris turning into a deep shade of purple. The teeth sharpen into pointed fangs. The skin and hair whitened, turning him deathly pale. When not out killing for his Queen, Aden wears a white and black Jesters outfit

Weapon(s): Ripper: To the naked eye ripper looks like nothing more than some ornamental farming tool. However were one to look at its edge, one would see that despite being rubbed again stone or armor, the blade remains as sharp as ever. 

Ability/Skill(s): Immortality through possession - Aden was granted immortality through the possession of the bodies of others by the Queen. Every time Aden dies his soul is sent back to a gem where it will rest and recover, before then being ready to be implated into another body.

It's a non-system game, so no rules on that front, it's basically all decided by the magnificent Bubby and her eternal wisdom. I know one of my characters isn't on that list, but other than that I am not sure.

And yeah, I figured it would be boring to just have one side hating my character so hey! Everybody can hate her now! Fun for me, not so much for poor Sam, haha.

It's a great concept. Mine went a little further in that proto-Manfred was a proper bastard who was excelling in the cruel ranks of the Queen's army... right up to the moment where he suddenly developed elemental powers and his loyalty to the Queen was overwhelmed by his instinct for self-preservation. Cue lots of drama and lots of angst.

*Nuzzles* No worries then. We're in no hurry! It seems those involved are wonderfully patient and willing to wait, which I will reiterate is A W E S O M E ! We also have Rel Mayer working on a character for the Queens side, (YAY!), and on top of that we still need a Water.

I WILL INTRO THIS WEEKEND, and it will contain the announcement of the upcoming 'festival' surrounding the 200th Anniversary of the Queens (All Praise Her Name) coronation. So anyone can start with at least knowing said festival is coming up, and that everyone in the Kingdom needs to be there, under penalty of death. Of course.  >:)
