One Piece Alternate Timeline Interest Check (Recruitment Closing April 12)

I've only recently started One Piece, but it's definitely got me watching episode after episode. And with so much possibility offered in the world, I think it would be a good try to make an RP out of it. I'm no GM. I don't have specific ideas as to what the crew could go through. One thing for sure, there's going to be devil fruits ahoy. But even with the barely 200 episodes I've watched, I know some of these are probably going to get out of hand. =/ I don't know. I just want to see if there's anyone out there who's willing to form a crew of random buffoons with mind-blowing abilities and ideas as to what they wish to do upon the vast seas!

I personally really enjoy the Goro Goro fruit; the lightning fruit. Especially for a swordsman. So I call dibs XD

Bam right here. I have read every issue of the manga, seen every episode and all the movies. The limits of the fruit powers is the imagination of its owner. Just so you can get that out of the way. I think the best way to handle those is to possibly do an RPG type of system with level ups. Anywho I am interested in this.

Just for the record, I'll be wanting to play my fanfic OC: a half-fishman, half-human character with a custom weapon, namely a fishing pole with the line and razor-sharp hook on one end and a trident spear on the other, on top of which it has eaten a spider DF and is alive and independently functioning. So it's sort of two characters functioning as one unit.

Honestly, I think a lot of people are going to be taking devil fruits. And I don't mind it, in fact, having a crew of 'em sounds epic! However, we have to remember to have some enemies with enough strength to counter-balance our epicness.

Well, if I am to be a GM, I'm definitely going to need some help. I'm only at episode 220 at the present moment. So it's clear I'm missing quite some lore... Nevertheless, I'm really thinking about it. Characters will need a clear goal, something to thrive for and that'll have them chasing after it. Flushed out characters, with concrete history. I don't think I'm asking too much, now am I?

The Dragon Storm Pirates.

The go wherever the fuck they want. Weather can't say shit. But They're fucked as soon as they sink, unless the merman brings 'em all back to land XD

Storm Logia basically. I got the idea from whenever Luffy's dad showed up it would start storming no matter what. It could be sunny, not a cloud in the sky and 80 degrees. As soon as Dragon showed up, clouds rolled in, wind, rain, thunder and lightning. I thought it would be interesting.

Here's an idea that's been trotting in my mind, you guys are probably going to confirm my thoughts. To keep his powers under control, a logia-user would wear kairoseki jewelery, like a pendant or a ring. Wearing the object would make them seem like a normal human until they would take it off.

My guess is that it wouldn't work because it makes them limp at contact and therefore would only result in them being a vegetable until the take it off.

Yeah. The effects are so adverse that no Fruit user would willingly wear anything seastone. Even Smoker who has a seastone jutte always were gloves and a jacket so he doesn't accidentally touch it.

Might I suggest a paramecia fruit based off of Usopps plants? Sort of a fusion where your body maintains the nutrients to grow them and you just need to keep the seeds at hand?

You could have your plant character be able to either make grass and other plants just grow in a radius around her or perhaps her body is an off green and she herself has become a living plant, giving her special abilities.

Name: Izaya "the red dragon" Nakamura

Age: 19

Personality: Izaya, ever since he was a kid, was laid back and relaxed, always prefering a nap in a hammock to doing... just about anything. While not a glutton he does love to eat, his favorite being a special fish dish his mother always made for him. Always kind to those closest to him, he cherishes his friendships and will always be the first to defend his crew and other friends. Despite being quick to action and having a short temper, he mostly depends on his brother to keep him from doing something stupid, though he doesn't always succeed.

Devil Fruit powers (If any): Izaya ate the Dora Dora no mi, Model: fire (aka the dragon dragon fruit)

His fruit allows him to change between three forms: his human form (which holds no real powers with it)

His half dragon form: (that allows him to gain long, red wings and a tail, as well as making his eyes become green and slitted across the center, it also allows him to breath fire and gives him incredibly sharp teeth)

And his full dragon form: (His body becomes that of a massive dragon with great wings and a spiked tail, easily reaching the size of a smaller ship. His fire abilities are greatly improved, not only can he breath fire, but he can coat his entire body in a layer of fire)

History: Izaya, along with his brother, lived on a small island with their mother for most of their lives. Always being polar opposites they wouldn't always get along, but were always close friends. As young boys their mother told them about their father, he was a strong pirate captain, holding more than a million berrie reward for his capture, but, none of his pursuers could do him in. What did finally do the trick was a mystery, some people don't even know if he is dead, others think he's just hiding until the time is right, Izaya likes to think he joined the revolutionaries or is just wrapped in adventure across the world.

With tales of his father always filling his head the young boy grew a dream, to not only find his father, but to become a pirate captain just like he'd been. A great captain with a massive bounty! When the time finally came he set off on his adventure, bidding his mother fairwell and promising he would come and visit as often as he could. He didn't know his brother's plans, but, surprisingly, they would meet up again not long after leaving.

He knew he couldn't just start as a captain, so he joined a crew to gain some riches, then would join another for the same reason. When he finally amassed enough money he got the best ship he could afford, now there was only one problem... what to do about a crew?

Appearance:

Dragon Form

Name: Shinji "The Blue Dragon" Nakamura

Age: 20

Personality: More the serious brother, he likes independance and keeps to himself most of the time. Calm of nature, his usual self really expresses the meaning of the calm before the storm. He is one who loves to help, and doesn't take life willingly. But those who crossed the man either remembered it or never lived to tell the tale. He remains nonchalant and calm in dire situations; his little brother had already gotten in quite some trouble before, and Shinji often pulled him out of it. Even with a smart head on his shoulders, the man has a bad habit of procrastination and lounges around watching the sky more than working.

Devil Fruit powers (If any): Dora Dora no Mi: Model Ice

Zoans have 3 forms, Shinji is no exception. His normal human form is barely different from a normal human's, except for a slight drop in average body temperatures, mostly due to his glacial powers dormant.

His half dragon form is perhaps the form he enjoys using best. Giving him a pair of blue wings, and a spiked tail like his brother. However, Shinji also bears horns, his hands and feet also gain claws and deep blue scales, which exhibit frost. His frozen breath seems like blue flames that crystalize in ice as soon as they come in contact with something, but it's range and strength do not rival his full form.

The full dragon form is more or less as his brother's. The major differences are that his body can freeze as he want. His breath is much more intense, inflicting from heavy frost burns to crystalizing ice. When truly angered, blizzards have even been a sighting. Together with his brother, if their powers go unchecked, they have the potential of causing large natural catastrophies; where the name Storm Dragons come from.

History: Born first in a family of 2, Shinji barely had a year of peace before his brother was born. Even as kids, Shinji thrived to be alone. However, his brother always got in trouble if he wasn't around, apparently. The boy grew used to it over the years. He always seemed to be the one to accomplish things first, and it caused friction between his brother. The quarreled over silly things, dreaming of greater days. Stories of their father fighting across the seas, finding new places, they did their time. His brother had a large interest for them, but Shinji followed along more than asking for more. He didn't really know what he wanted to do with himself, in truth. He pondered living with his mother and taking care of her, but that plan took the door when his brother left to adventure on his own. It wasn't a month after Izaya had left that Shinji found someone willing to allow him to sail with them until the next land and so on, until he would find his brother.

However, they happened to have taken opposite directions. Taking on bounty work to make a simple living, the man wasn't shabby with a sword and not a bad shot either. Sure, he was far from being anything close to an expert at both, but he could handle himself in a fight, thanks to the years of quarreling with his brother. And along his sailing, Shinji heard of his brother aquiring a devil fruit. Rumors were rumors, Shinji simply thought, but he couldn't shrug off the feeling that his brother had beaten him to greatness. And so he decided to extend his search for Izaya just a little, wanting to aqcuire a devil fruit himself. He didn't really care for the one he would stumble upon, as long as he wouldn't be left behind in the dust by his brother. It was at the polar opposite of Izaya's fruit that Shinji found his, the Nora Nora no mi, model Ice. It never crossed his mind that his brother would've happened to find the polar opposite of his model.

With new powers in hand, finding Izaya was easier. He wasn't limited to sailing as much, being able to fly between some islands. They met up in a bar, Shinji pulling Izaya out of a fight just as someone pulled out a pistol. With a bit of catching up, Shinji decided that he needed to keep an eye on his brother more than lazing around a small island and started following his brother, trying to keep him out of trouble he might not be able to handle.

Name: Vincent R.(Short for Riley) Stone "Dr. Volt"

Age: 26

Personality: Honest, noble, chivalrous, Vincent has manners and likes things clean. He would tell you, "In a pirate's world, you either save a crook or a friend. I got a solution for both.". His immense of power hasn't went completely to his head, as do some logia users with granted power as his. He isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty, he was used to deal with blood everyday. When a patient is in danger, the man seems to shift of mindset, becoming more serious than ever. As all doctors, saving lives over taking them is a huge issue, only if he you pass his judgment. He has no pity for those who don't value life. If he isn't studying medicine books, he's refining his Forge sword techniques (Read below for descriptions), or he's drinking. One who enjoys to celebrate, he will be a happy man with a big glass of ale, merry compatriots, he will sing along to the songs and dance all night.

Devil Fruit/Weapons: Goro Goro Fruit/ Rumble Rumble Fruit. Lightning Logia, Forge Sword.

Using electricity, he has a special technique that welds and breaks apart metal. Thus, he may wield a large greatsword then divide it with electricity and have dual swords, amongst other things he can do. This is the Forge Sword; a blade which is forged by lightning itself. Along this ability, it also includes an armor, the Forge Armor

Forge Armor

Taking on the Forge Armor leaves him with only electricity to use as offensive, as it requires all the metal to make the armor. If he were to be missing parts of metal, for example, if blades were scattered about, he wouldn't be able to fully form the armor until he could melt them into the shape of the armor and wear them.

History: Born in a family of doctors, the valor of life and how important it was instilled early in his life. His island was situated in East Blue, and lived relatively calm lives. They tended to the villagers around the island, shaped like a crescent. They lived on the southern tip and every week, Vincent and his parents went from village to village to check on them, to see if anyone needed tending. Simple check-ups, helping the elderly, and even some rare check-ups on livestock, when direly needed. It wasn't their profession, but they helped the most they could. They were hard working people. And every week, they would reach the north tip of the island, where a fisherman lived. The old man had arthritis, but he loved his job. And every week, he would offer them a ride back home across the bay of the crescent to the southern tip.

But when a sickness began spreading throughout the island, the doctors tried as hard as they could to find a cure, but their efforts were always in vain. So, before Vincent caught the disease, he left in search of a cure, to save his island. It was the old man that had given a boat for the young teenager to leave the island. The old man was wise. He could tell from the previous victims and the amount of time it took for them to die, he knew that by the time Vincent would reach the next island, everyone would have caught the plague, and many will have already died. Nothing was more true. It took a efw days of sailing to reach the next island, but they had nothing that Vincent didn't already know, nothing helpful. He came back with a Marine fleet 2 months later, but his arrival tore his heart. No one lived. Even the animals had succumbed to the disease. The island reeked of death and decay. With a heavy heart, he joined the Marines as a recruit-doctor.His stay was for many years, gaining valuable expertise and access to better books and recent medecine techniques from across the seas. Sailing in a crew of 50 men, their captain was a reckless fool, who cared nothing for the lives of his crewmembers. Vincent's hatred grew slowly, accumulating like a storm in the distance.

The day came, when Vincent was 19, that they docked on an unhabited island. Ordered to look around for any herbs or medical supplies, Vincent came across nothing other than the Goro Goro fruit. Unsure of his find, the man packed the ruit along with the rest of his materials. He had never seen such a fruit before. It wasn't before he got back to base that he was able to look through the library to find any matching description. Finding none, he decided to try it out himself. The results changed his life; as a strong current ran through him. The doctor looked at his hand, and an electrical arc danced between his fingers. The man grinned madly. A gift from the gods... He told himself. Bestowed upon him to save this world. Save it from those who wasted lives in vain. The next day, burnt ruins remained of the base, with only the admiral dead and many wounded. He left the island on a ship by himself, and a bounty placed on his head; 25,000 berries. No one knew that he was now the possessor of the Goro Goro powers, they only saw their captain being cut down casually by their doctor. He didn't need the fruit, he had a good skill with swords. However, the fruit gave him the confidence to change the situation.

He's been on the run since, treating those who needed and leaving after his care wasn't required. He was a mysterious doctor, who introduced himself as Dr. Volt. Keeping his visage hidden behind a metal mask, he would use his electrical abilities to better his medical abilities, along with his swordsmanship.

Name: Arashi Kyojin

Age: 18

Personality: Arashi is a calm natured individual, and always looks before he leaps. He tries not to make hasty or rash decisions, and tends to look at how things will turn out after the fact before he acts. He's also dedicated once he sets his mind to something. Whether it's training, or helping his friends, or completing a mission. He's not the type to leave things unfinished, and he is not the type to shy away from a fight. He wouldn't fight just to fight, but if he does get into a scrap, he'll give it his all no doubts about it. He's a flirt when it comes to the ladies, and somewhat shameless, but he likes to think his charm more than makes up for that.

Devil Fruit powers : Tenkō Tenkō no Mi(Weather Weather Fruit)

The Tenkō Tenkō no Mi is a Logia class Devil Fruit. It allows it's user to control and manipulate the elements of a storm, including wind, rain, clouds, and lightning.



History: Born on Raijin Island, it was no surprise how Arashi Kyojingot his name(translates to Storm Giant). It was a rough place to grow up due to the constant storms, but that toughened him up even as a child. On top of that, he trained daily so one day he could leave and find his fortune on the sea. His parents didn't mind, as his father himself had retired after a long and successful career as a pirate.

He'd been a somewhat big name on the sea for decades, and his last haul was enough for him to retire with his wife and start the family they'd always wanted. At first Koro didn't want to train his son, but Arashi persisted and begged and went off to train on his own until finally his father agreed to train him.

He trained him hard, so hard that at times he came to ahte his father. But he knew it was what he'd asked for, and there was no doubt he was getting stronger, so he persevered. From about the age of four, up to fourteen. He trained nonstop as hard as he could, as often as he could. Fourteen wasn't the age he stopped though, fourteen was simply the age where he began to train for something else. A few weeks after his birthday, a sack washed up on the island in a little known cove where Arashi went to meditate and train.

In it was a bag of gold and jewels, a map, and a strange fruit that looked like a gigantic peach, but deep blue and covered in swirls. He put the treasure and map aside for a moment. He'd been training for 8 hours straight and was starving. So he took a big bite of the fruit. It tasted horrible, and he nearly gagged before he forced it down.

As bad as it tasted, at this point food was food, and he'd definitely had worse. He finished it off and went home for the day, showing his parents what he'd found.  Nobody expected anything different after he found his treasure, but over the next few weeks, strange things began to happen, culminating in Arashi unwittingly saving himself from serious injury. A sudden storm came bearing down on the island while he was training, and he was struck by lightning. However he wasn't hurt; scared absolutely, but unharmed. He also noticed the electricity dancing on his skin.

His father saw this, and instantly knew Arashi had eaten a Devil Fruit. Koro hadn't eaten one himself, but he'd sailed with people who had, so he knew the signs, and he knew how to train him. For another four years, Arashi trained even harder than before so he could not only master his new powers, but to grow stronger with his natural abilities as well.

When he turned 17, he was allowed to leave home and venture out on his own. Of course his parents were worried; who wouldn't be? But with 17 years of nonstop training in the New World, and the powers of a Devil Fruit, they knew Arashi would do great things and could take care of himself. Shortly after putting himself out there, he was picked up by a no-name, ragtag group of pirates who had a lot of heart, but no power. He changed that and soon they were a force to be reckoned with. However he's grown bored with them riding his coat-tails and expecting him to do everything. And he feels his presence has made things worse since now they're all lazy good for nothings.

Would be the Storm Storm Fruit yeah, but I couldn't find a two syllable way to say storm in Japanese. And I noticed pretty much every devil fruit was 2 syllables so I was trying to keep to that.

And I guess I can make him the Navigator. Makes sense considering what he can do.

  Uhh, wow!

  First ship looks like our first act as crew will be to get a new one. xD Poor thing. Nothing is more badass than the ocean!

  The second one is workable!  I think it fits the theme of One Piece rather nicely!

  And the last.. I need to read the Captain's bio all the way through. But if he's going for pH33r pHact0r with a capital pH content of the ocean blue, that's a fine choice.

  You've got me!  Although...

  I had a horrrrible idea!  I want to play a group of antagonist pirates that can the main crew can recruit!

  See, part of what I love about One Piece is the ridiculousness of the respective Devil Fruits.  As such, I mean to incarnate a sea-faring quartet of small time thugs, and have one of them integrate into the main shebang after you trounce them!

  See what you think!  I'll work on Anya's history a bit later!



  Anya "Rose Eyes" Athelfled
    ate the Bara Bara no Mi

  The beautiful lady stands clad in a floral sundress with a dagger belt and steel toed boots, an enormous black hat with spikes all over it and a rose in the seam on her head, and long, flourishing locks of maroon colored hair. 

  Captain Anya is impetuous, brazen, ferocious, and decidedly cruel.  Her beauty is dazzling, but so is her tenaciousness.  She seeks to build a proper group of pirates to be captain over, and as such routinely goes around picking fights with common criminals to subdue them, or robbing Devil Fruits to make them more powerful.  A thief, a fighter, a drama queen, and a seductress, Anya's true passions remain a mystery.  She does have a softer side, including the inherant infatuation with her abilities.

  The Bara Bara no Mi <The Rose Rose Fruit> allows Anya to grow thorns and blossoms on almost anything.  Anything she can touch becomes a deadly spiked weapons with a dramatic red blossom fluttering in the wind on top of it.  Anya's tenaciousness has caused this power to grow, allowing her to conjure large thorns and to assume a sort of 'war form' shape.  She is obsessed with flowers as a result.  The ship she rides in, while insufficient for long sea travel, is covered with knife like thorns and cascades red petals as it sails.

 

  Bart "Texan" Mordi
    ate the Tsuno Tsuno no Mi

  The eldest of the Mordi Brothers, Bart was a womanizing, chauvinistic pig obsessed with cowboy fashions.  He was the first of his family to be beaten senseless by the more aggressive Anya.  Committed to serving her partly because to redeem his defeat, (but mostly because he hopes to one day tap that), Bart was made into a member of her new crew.  He is brash, lazy, perverted, and likes to flex his oversize muscles.  He acts as the first mate, but Anya will never call him that, or risk using the word 'mate' in earshot.

  The Tsuno Tsuno no Mi <The Horn Horn Fruit> was stolen by Anya and given to him to augment his abilities.  It allows him to grow various kinds of horns, from steer, to bull, to ram, to rhino.  And it allows him to grow them anywhere on his body.  He loves this ability, blending with his cowboy flavor and allowing him to adopt the nick-name Ocean Texan.



  Edgar "Beatdown" Mordi
    ate the Boko Boko no Mi

  The middle brother of the Mordi family, Edgar is quieter and more polite than his siblings.  He is perpetually bruised and bleeding from his lower lip, and is missing several teeth.  Despite being the most morally decent of his brothers, Edgar is also the most capable fighter among them, employing textbook boxing styles as opposed to simple violence.  He enjoys fine dining, drinking tea, long walks on beaches, shopping for fashionable clothes, and all the effects of an ill-gotten high life.  That changed when Anya beat him, making him part of her crew.  He serves her partly out of respect to his other siblings, and partly because he is now able to enjoy that high life on her ship.  He acts as the cook.

  The Boko Boko no Mi <Beat-up Fruit> is both a blessing and a curse.  He is no longer able to sit in fine establishments and such, due to always looking like he was just dragged through an alley and beaten with an iron pipe.  This unsettling but formidable ability allows him to 'beat-up' people easier, causing bruises, broken bones, sight inhibiting swelling, and cuts to appear on contact.  He even has some ability to 'beat-up' inanimate objects, causing them to become more run down or, in certain cases, to develop bruises and swelling on their own.



  Todd "Big Ears" Mordi
    ate the Mimi no Mi

  The youngest of the Mordi brothers always considered himself the craftiest.  Physically short and lanky, with bucked teeth and a snide voice, Todd is constantly picked on for his huge ears.  A sadist, Todd relied on manipulation for much of his early life to get what he wanted, going as far as to manipulate his older brothers using their respective lust and greed.  Todd wants to become an upper level criminal, where he can have it all and no one can touch him.  He instigated the fight with Anya, and was beaten soundly as a result.  Today he serves as Anya's scout and navigator, more to stay close to his older brothers, and to see when he'll be able to get an edge over Anya.

  The Mimi no Mi (Ear Fruit) was stolen and forced down his throat, mostly as a joke.  His already huge ears grew larger, now able to hear almost anything.  He's also learned how to use them for limited flight.  It makes him a potent eavesdropper, but Anya takes to constantly yelling in his ears to avert this.

  Actually, given the basic character concept for Anya, I was more gearing towards her trying to take your ship.  Then, possibly becoming a recurring antagonist once you hit port, (where seductions abound) and then wanting to join your crew after she realizes that the Mordi's are fundamentally movie extras.  You know, sort of like Nami.  xD

  Or, you know, being captured by your crew during the attack, while the Mordis get away, and joining from there.

  Of course, it will be up to the main crew to determine which characters gets to join.  And Todd will want to go out of his way to screw Anya over..

  In short!  Basic pirate raid plot = choose your own One Piece Adventure. xD

The thing with One Piece and Time periods, it doesn't really matter. Especially on the Grand Line. Some island are barely developed while others are at the top of technology. So it doesn't really matter at what time-frame your character is in, he'll still be jumbled up with the rest =P If you were referring story-wise, it doesnt really matter either, it's like in never happened in the first place =D

Personality: Cheerful, while being seductive and playful. Very astute reasoning capabilities.

Devil Fruit powers (If any):
Hitomi ate the Ushi Ushi No Mi: Model Behemoth, a mythic zoan fruit. This allows her to become the embodiment of land itself, a colossal, bovine-esque animal that provides several abilities. First and foremost is her strength, endurance, and agility. All of them are enhanced to supernatural levels while she connected to natural land. She is also able to manipulate the element of earth in all it's forms, from crystals to dirt/sand to metal, even being able to create it, though her own earth creations can not empower her like natural land. Being an embodiment of the land, she is also able to become immovable while connected to the earth, unable to be moved from any spot that she picks, and she can also adapt to nearly any environment that is on natural land, from volcanoes to arctic, frozen wastelands.

Lastly, she is able to shapeshift between her human and behemoth forms, taking on more traits of her behemoth form as she draws on it more. She is also given a prehensile tail while in her shapeshifted state.

Her main weakness, besides the standard devil fruit weaknesses of sea-stone and salt water, is that if she stays separated from dry, natural land for too long, she tends to become weakened and possibly even sick from withdrawal if she is away from it for too long. Her Strength, Speed, and Endurance are only enhanced while connected to dry land, though her earth creation and manipulation powers work regardless of where she is.

It's not really new.

Zoan devil fruit users like Marco and Laffitte have been shown to only change a portion of their body into their animal form, such as turning their arms into wings.

This her quarter form is just an extension of that, staying mainly human while taking on a few behemoth features in order to use more of it's power. o3o

I thought of a random idea for a paramecia. The spin spin fruit. Allows user to spin without getting dizzy, anything they touch can start spinning, they can rotate any of their body parts 360 degrees.

Well, it's kinda logical that there would be more paramecia around than anything, because they are more common. Not everybody who eats a fruit knows what they'll get, so it kinda all makes sense. I do admit that we already have some pretty rare fruits already (3 mythical zoans, 2 logias). But it's really up to what you feel like playing. One Piece has so many possiblities.

  I'm going to put my two cents in an ask that any character who plays a shipright must actually be able to go underwater.

  Given the sheer amount of powers a body can have without a devil fruit..  I mean, let's see some Okama Kenpo on this boat!!

Here's a random idea that popped in my head; everyone's in a pub and marines show up, trying to catch a criminal hiding amongst the crowd or separate a fight. Most of you may already be wanted for some reason or another and flee at the same time that a number of other people do. And that's how the crew was formed? XD My random pitch out there =P

Name: Catherine Yukari

Age: 22

Personality: Catherine is very serious about her job as ship-rite and takes pride in her ability with it.  She is hard to anger unless something or someone she cares about is insulted.  Catherine is usually kind and will try to help others.  She acts calm and collected in battle because she knows that if you get to confident, excited, or angry, that you are bound to make mistakes.  Catherine loves animal.  She likes her work and takes her time with repairs, but when she's not working or when the crew isn't in a fight she will usually just relax around the ship.  She is very loyal to her crew and friends.  Catherine is a fast learner and adapts to situations quickly.  She likes to hang out with the others.  She likes to talk, but will get a little non-descriptive about her past.

Devil Fruit powers/Weapons/Abilities: Kenbunshoku Haki: A style of Haki which grants Catherine sixth sense abilities and limited precognitive abilities, allowing her to sense when someone is near and  predict her enemies' next moves. 
Busoshoku Haki: Allows her to use her spirit as armor and strengthen her attacks.  It can also harden her body.
She also uses a katana with a blood red colored hilt.  She has trained in this weapon for years and now can send out small waves from it the slash what they touch, though not very far, only a ship length or two, though she has sent one as far as three ship lengths.

History:Catherine was raised in a town on a medium island.  She began training at a young age in swordsmanship from her father, who was the town's protector and a master swordsman.  Besides school and swords training, her life was pretty relaxed.  When she was 12, her father sent her to deliver something to the large, nearby, harbor city, where she developed her love for ships.  After delivering the package, she roamed the harbor, exploring boats and talking to sailors and even pirates.  When she returned home she returned home she told her father about everything and her love of ships and he set her up as an apprentice to the ship master of the harbor.  She learned quickly under the shipmaster and had soon made her first ship.  By the time she reached 16 she was an able swordsman and ship-rite.  One morning as she headed to work, she passed some pirates making their way to the town lead by a large man, but pirates and sailors were pretty common on the island and so she didn't take much notice of them. 
Later, she was working on repairing a ship, when she heard a few shouts and a scream from the people nearby and turned to see smoke begin to rise from the direction of the town.  She dropped her tools and ran, but by the time she reached the town it was destroyed and bodies laid around.  She heard more noises and rushed for the source, finding her father facing the pirates.  He fought until their leader burned him to death.  She hid as the pirates left and rushed to what remained of her father, she took his sword, her current sword, and ran.  The shock from the events of this day awakened her Haki.  She was given a house by the city and kept up her work and training, though now mixing her sword training with that of her new found abilities.  Five years later she headed out, thirsting for adventure and for revenge (though she never found the pirate who killed her father).  At 22 she decided to join a crew and found the Storm Dragons.

Personality: Upfront Snow seems like an innocent and sweet girl, her looks deceiving. But one conversation with her and she'll be touchy touchy~. She is very flirtatious and kind of a man eater. She claims she only likes men but if she catches a girl off guard.. she just has an urge to touch those melons! Flat chested girls get taunted by her. History: An ideal silver spooned to a rusty fork type of story. She was the only child to overly busy parents. Blah blah. She lived independently by herself(maids, butlers, gardeners, etc etc.) and she always left alone. She was very adventurous and friendly. She knew what was right and wrong from books. She believed in logic over reasoning. That was till she found a secret garden of one of the at home servants. They had weird fruits deep in the  less maintained part of the garden. She never knew what they were till one day she heard the gardeners speaking of something called Devil Fruits. She was even more curious so she did research and found exactly what she needed to know. She thought that these powers would make someone more.. desirable. Would make her parents notice her more. So she decided at random, to take a fruit and eat it. Just as she had finished the gardeners caught her. They told her they were defected ones and instantly she changed. Her personality and her appearance. She turned inhumanely pale all over. White hair, white eyes. The devil fruit she ate was a paper one that allows her to bend and command paper at her will. She was frightened of the new development and faked her death with a paper figurine. And slowly the effects of the devil fruit slowly faded from her appearance. Still leaving her a pale girl. Ever since then she's kept a great distance from her household. And finding herself traveling around the world to learn about her favorite thing, food! Finding a ship without a chef made her heart stop, so of course she just HAD to join it..

Ons: Anal, roughhousing, giving oral, forced, being forced into submission, dominant men, forcing women into submission, knife play.

Hmmm...the protagonist crew seems to be rather filled up...I could make an armorer/weapon specialist but that is generally not the spot I shoot for in a  OP game...

PrestaDGTation, what do you think about me whipping up 2 or 3 characters to add to your antagonist crew? Round out your numbers and help you share the bad-guy load of messing with the protagonists?

Acccctualllly....I may have an idea for an armorer/weapons specialist...though I guess that depends on what your looking for. I have a fishgirl ( who is traditionally a Paramiciam 'Flash Woman' and a navigator ) who I could make into easily alter into a blacksmith of sorts with some potential for her to have her own personal blend of Fishman and Okama Karate. She would be good at making, maintaining, and fixing a verity of weapons.  If that is what you are looking for I could easily deliver...If your looking for something more along the lines of a Frankie/ussope tinkerer who inventive crazy things and uses them in combat then I can perhaps drop the Fishkama karate and focus her on that.


Heh all else fails  I can put her on your crew PrestaDGTation, you need someone who can swim.

Decided to go ahead and post my fish woman because a) still not 100% sure I want her as a villain and B) so I can get some opinions on her



Appearance:

Name: Elinet Ves the Leopard shark Fishwoman

Age: 23

Elinet is a feisty, hot tempered young miss. Full of a energy and passion. She has an aggressive nature, as one would expect of a fishwoman of her breed. The only thing she seems to really fear is the thought of being made into a slave again.

Abilities:
Elinet is what some would consider a 'jack of all traids and a master of none'. She spends to much time practicing her fighting to become a great inventor and to much time tinkering to become a great fighter. But she has a great foundation in both areas. She is a adept metal worker, comfortable working with metal, weapons, armor, cannons, guns, you name it she's probable tried it. She likes to experiment with weapons but they normaly don't work as well as she'd hope; she's much better at repairs and fallowing instructions than inviting things.

She has a unique way of fighting, Using a personal fusion of Okama Kempo and Fishman Karate, she calls it Fishkama Karate. Other Fishman Karate practitioners who have seen the odd fighting style describe it as 'Fishman Taekwondo' as it applies what are normally the straight forward hand focused techniques into a more acrobatic and erratic kicking fighting style. Her biggest moves are preformed with water, as one would expect, making her most dangerous while around water.

History: An orphan of the Fishman District slums, by showing some aptitude for combat after beating up some fishman karate students her own age and even blooding the nose of one of the somewhat older assistant  instructors( with a cheap shoot, but hey blood is blood ), she was recruited as a student at a Fishman Karate School when she was younger. Not used to being around so many people, she'd like to sneak off to a deserted little island and practice in secret. One day, while practicing, a noble man's ship came by the island and took the young shark girl as a slave. She spent several years as the slave, used as entertainment and sport by the cruel nobles. Until the ship her and her master were on was attacked by a band of pirates. Much to the young Elinet's relief the human pirates took pity on the young slave and did not sell her. They tattooed over the slaves brand on her back with a skull and cross bones (Poor guys weren't all that creative ) and took care of her, eventually dropping her off with a pair of retired cremates who had settled down together. Their old metallurgic specialist Ranford and his 'Wife' Olivia. The pair of retired pirates took Elinet in raised her as their own. Each one taking their time to teach the fishgirl useful skills. Ranford taught her how to work metal and to maintain, build, and modify all kinds of weapons and devices. Olivia revealed that 'she' was quite the skilled user of Okama Kempo back in her day and taught Elinet as much as she could.

She spent much of her time bouncing back and forth between her adoptive human parents to occasional joining the Crew who found her for short voyages. So it is little wonder by the time she was old enough to set out on her own she decided to become a proper pirate herself. She had always been something of a wild child.

She eventually found her way on to the Wild Thorn.

Ons: Rough Sex, border line pain, Domination, Being Dominated ( as long as collars and the word 'slave' is left out of the it and it's done in a more physical 'alpha' sort of way) Men, Women, anything in-between( she did grow up with an Okama after all ), Oral (more reviving than giving. Not that she doesn't enjoys giving but she finds most people are afraid of her teeth),

Offs: 'slave play', Humiliation, scat, torture.

Favorite sexual Position: Elinet is Flexible. Not just in the positions she likes to fuck in, I mean literally flexible! She loves it when her lovers take advantage of that. Otherwise,  she is not picky.

Well, currently we do have 8 characters, if we count the 2 antagonists that are probably joining up the crew eventually >.>  HOWEVER, it leaves us with a possibility to stretch it out to 10, if we have a gunman/marksman as actual position... So, not to put the pressure, but the RP is closing it's positions at latest the 12th of april. By then, we actually want at least a post in character, as the main trigger of the formation of the crew will happen that day. We're mainly lacking a sniper and a musician. I believe interest has been shown for these positions from Wolfy, Leorobin and zetzal. With this in mind, this is your ultimatum I launch you; to have posted with at least one of your characters in the IC thread before the marines bust the party on april 12th.  >:) Enjoy!
