Anyone read the Elder Races series by Thea Harrison? (F/M)

I've gotten to the fourth book, Oracle's Moon, within the last two weeks and just cannot put this series down. I am highly interested in playing oc/oc and would prefer the female role but I can take the male role just as easily. The world of this series is very interesting and I'm only looking for people who have at least read one of the books to understand how the world works.

M/F pairing only, I will not be doing M/M or F/F for this.
OC for your OC, I will not be relying on the characters of this series except as background characters.
I average about 2-3 paragraphs per post and this can also be an IM rp if you prefer (I like chatting in IM to get a feel for my partner)
This will be a heavily romance roleplay with some sex sprinkled in, not the other way around.
This is a modern fantasy, so please keep that in mind.
I find it much easier to play with female players but I will attempt to do so with male players as well.
