The Modern Family (Seeking Replacments)

Ok. For this, I am seeking people who will post frequently. That does not necessarily mean daily, but every other day at the worst, and more frequently when you can.

The setting for this will be a Rural Setting.
Based on interest, I am willing to open roles outside of the immediate family - aka Aunt(s), Uncle(s), Cousins - to the mix. Perhaps even a boyfriend/girlfriend. But the main roles have to be filled first!

All characters will be 18+ for this game.

Since this is a rural family, this can be a large family, but please pay attention to ages.

Twins are acceptable - if you want to be a twin, let me know!

Name: Andrew 'Andy' Smith
Age: 48
Role: Father / Patriarch

Personality: Andrew has always been the fun loving type. He was always getting himself into trouble growing and gets a thrill out of pushing boundaries. It got him in trouble with the law a few times, but he has calmed down a bit since then. He loves to have a good time and see where things go, while at the same time being a responsible family man who takes care of and looks after his family.

Brief Background: Andrew was often off running in the woods and swimming in the streams as a child. He became athletic because of it and excelled at sports in school, though felt more at home when he was at home with his family then with other people. He often got in trouble for doing sneaky things as a child and had a few run ins with the law as he grew older and did more thrilling things - like shoplifting - but soon outgrew even that.

Sexually, his mother awakened the inner beast inside of him, taking his virginity at 16. She was a very sexual woman and knew how to get what she wanted and Andrew didn't know any better at the time. It was no surprise then that he also had sex with one of his female teachers at school. It wasn't until his own sister matured and grew older that he developed his first real crush on a woman closer to his age and, on her eighteenth birthday, he first had sex with her. Although she is a strong and independent woman, she had a child very young, and her entire world had been the children from then on. She did earn money for them by selling different homemade and handmade things, but their main income was the farm...which she helped out with if the house work was done.

Name: Jake Smith

Role: Uncle / Younger brother of the patriarch

Personality: Jake was always the black sheep of the family. Very blunt and straightforward, he always got himself into trouble and made no attempt to hide the enjoyment he got out of doing bad things      even when caught. He lacks the values and restraint a normal person has, leading him to be impulsive and not shy to use force or violence.

Brief Background: There was always something... wrong with Jake. That was what his parents thought, anyway. Even as a small child he would get into trouble for picking fights or spouting obscenities of whom no one seemed to know where he had learned them. Things got progressively worse as he got older and he eventually even did some time in prison for severely beating a man during a bar brawl.

During his time in county jail he got himself involved with the motor club known as the Lost and Damned. After his release he became a full member and moved to a rural area to help build up a new branch of the MC there. Surprisingly his elder brother also happened to have moved there when Jake had still been incarcerated. He's since been a regular guest at his brother's house. For some reason there he would always have this strange little smile on his face when his brother's wife entered the room, but God only knows why.

Nowadays he's a veteran lieutenant of the local Lost and Damned MC branch and makes his money that way. What exactly he does for them is something outsiders don't known and the police can't prove.

Richy has had many girlfriends in the pass and famously took two girls to prom in high school. He was a star and a stud, up until the bone crunching tackle that destroyed his knee. He spiraled into depression and drug use and has returned home in the attempt to clean himself up and further strengthen his surgically repaired knee, hoping perhaps to try out at a summer camp down the line to see if he can revive what had been potentially a professional career.

Personality: Currently, Miranda is going through a more rebellious phase. She’s lazy, can be quite rude, and would normally push any work she receives on to one of her siblings.
Brief Background: While Miranda was still a child, she loved helping her parents and her siblings. It was more or less her big passion. She always had something positive to say, would do her best to help whoever asked, and loved to look after her siblings. She was mature for her age as well and would normally resist a bit if her siblings wanted to do something risky, and she would hardly join in. After finishing high school, Miranda had to leave her parents’ home to study on. She had decided to become an architect a long time ago, but the closest collage that offered that kind of education was far away. She ended up with leaving her family for five years while studying. She would come home for Christmas and sometimes the summer as well, though it was clear that the city was changing her. She became gradually more and more rude, visited less than she used to, and had started drinking. Despite not getting so drunk she had to be carried to bed, she was still clearly not sober. The image of her being mature and reasonable was slowly being torn away.

When Miranda finally finished her studies, she returned to her parents’ home to have a place to live while finding somewhere to work.
