~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a freeform game, so fight scenes shall be discussed and planned with GM approval. I.E the outcome of a fight as we are not using a Dice system to determine such factors within the story. In many superhero fights luck and chance are factors to the eventual outcome and that will be taken into consideration here.
Brotherhood villain's may have been *Reformed* and are now heroes, but you need to explain that in their bios. It needs to be a credible reason. Characters such as Mystique, Sabertooth, White Queen, Juggernaut, Toad, Pyro, Avalanche etc.
Each player may start off and submit Bios for TWO characters to start off with. But if you claim more then one character you must be willing to write double the amount expected of a player with one character.
Your GM for this game will be silkNsatan and dblkrose (main GM).
Though I already have Magneto, I think I might as well do Colossus since I've already had some experience in that regards. Silk any issue with that?
VoluptuousVixen
Hero Name: Psylocke
Legal Name: Elisabeth *Betsey* Braddock
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Age: 24
Sexuality: Hetrosexual
Description (Appearance): She stands at 6' foot tall in Kwannons body. She Weighs 155 lbs with Violet eyes and long silky
Purple hair which was modified permanently by Spiral in her Body Shoppe. She tends to wear tight clothing to show off her voluptuous curves. She has long legs, a round perky ass and large full breasts. Betsey feels liberated in this new body and tends to dress accordindingly. She wears lots of blues and purples which co-ordinate with her X-men uniform.
Powers:
Telekinesis : Ability to psionically manipulate the physical aspects of reality. She can also move and levitate other people. While she can move objects from a distance and fly as other telekinetics do, she has shown little inclination to do either in combat situations. She can also create telekinetic shields of various sizes and strength and she can fire mental force blasts that can “shatter mountains.” Her telekinesis is also much stronger now than it was before her death. Psylocke seems to find that using her telekinesis in forceful ways is easier than in delicate ways (i.e. she can shatter a brick wall more easily than she can slowly levitate a pencil across a room) However, over time she displayed further control over fine matter. (For example, turning invisible by vibrating her own molecules, keeping an atomic bomb contained, and creating a telekinetic bubble inside of a brain, & exploding said bubble)
◾Telekinetic Katana : Psylocke can manifest a telekinetic katana blade composed of raw psi-energy, which at its lowest intensity, functions to disrupt neural pathways and sever the bonds between molecules, and at its highest level, her katanas can slice an armored opponent and cut through the armor, but leave the attacker physically unharmed. She can also use her swords to shatter telepathic power-inhibitors imposed on others. Psylocke's telekinetic manifestations produce visible radiance in the physical world.Thus, she can use her psychic katana as a makeshift light source in areas of darkness.
◾Enhance Physical Traits: Uses her telekinesis to enhance her speed, strength and fighting skills into super-human levels.
Telepathy: She possesses mental powers to affect and manipulate the minds of other sentient beings. Psylocke could read minds and communicate mentally with others over long distances. When she telepathically communicated with another person over a distance, that person often perceived her presence as a butterfly-like image bearing large eyes on its wings.
◾Telepathic Tracking: Enhanced psionic senses enabled her to detect and track other sentient beings by their unique psionic emanations (thought patterns contained in the psionic portion of the spectrum) especially if they posed a threat to her well-being in her immediate vicinity.
◾Psychic Shadow: She was able to mask her presence from others. Her abilities could go undetected and were very difficult to track, even by very powerful telepaths such as Shadow King. She could extend these defenses to others around her as well.
◾Psy Blades: Described as "the focused totality of her psychic powers," by intensely channeling and focusing her psionic powers to her hands to create “psychic blades”, razor-sharp edges of pure mental energy which were said to be the ultimate physical manifestation of her powers which she plunged into the minds of her targets directly, which she often used to disrupt the neurons of her foes by driving the glowing "blade" of mental energy into their skulls. It is able to kill.
◾Mind Control: Capable of controlling the minds of others.
◾Telepathic Illusions: She had the ability to create illusions to make herself seem to be invisible, look like someone else, or make others experience events that were not truly happening.
◾Mental Paralysis: Ability to induce temporary mental or physical paralysis
◾Amnesia: Could erase any awareness of particular memories or cause total amnesia.
◾Psionic Blasts: Could project psionic force bolts usually into the form of a butterfly which have no physical effects but which could affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain or unconsciousness or even death.
Special Skills and Other:
She can speak multiple languages such as English, Japanese, French, German and Mandarin. Which she learned from her modelling days. She can also play the piano to a skilled level, was a trained dancer and skilled swimmer.
== Disadvantages ==
Pyslocke isn't as powerful a telepath as Charles Xavier was. Ore Jean Grey, Emma Frost, Mastermind or Rachel Grey. She is still learning the extent of her telepathic abilities. Also she is in constant conflict with her split personalities between Elisabeth Braddock and Kwanonn. Meaning she can be headstrong at times and arrogant when listening to the kwanonn side of her personality. She is still susceptible to range attacks (Such as Cyclops optic blasts or Rogues absorption powers) Her family are one of her greatest weaknesses her brother Brian could very well be used against her. But as she gets closer to her X-men team-mates the same could be said of them. While a skilled martial artist she can be bested in combat by the likes of the Silver Samurai with a sword.
Equipment: X-communicator, Japanese Swords.
History:
Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock's Jr. father was James Braddock Sr. and he used to live in a different dimension. He was sent to Earth to create the ultimate protector, Captain Britain. He ended up having twins, Elizabeth and Brian. Betsy and her twin brother's lives were anything but normal. Betsy was born and raised in England in a small town called Maldon, Essex. Their parents died at a young age and they had many adventures growing up. Her twin brother Brian began pursuing physics as a major during college while Betsy decided to become a charter pilot. One day Betsy received news that her brother Jamie had been injured in an accident, so Betsy called Brian and the two flew back to their mansion in Britain. Their plane crashed after a psychic attack when they began to close in on the mansion.
Next Betsy would be influenced by no mind control by Dr. Synne. They would be able to restrain Betsy but it was nothing short of easy. Next Brian would defeat Synne and he would lose control over one of his agents, who would reveal that he was truly working for the Red Skull. Brian and Betsy would team up with Captain America to defeat the Red Skull, this is when Betsy first used her newly manifested powers. Betsy discovered that she had precognitive abilities that grew to telepathic powers. For a long time, Betsy had lost track of her brother because of his adventures in America and other dimensions. Betsy would soon quit her charter pilot job and pursued a career in modeling. To set herself apart, she began dying her hair purple and her career took off. When Brian decided to go overseas to college, Betsy contacted S.T.R.I.K.E. psychically to try and join them. She was recruited into the British agency, S.T.R.I.K.E.'s Psi Division. During her time there, she would develop romantic relationships with fellow S.T.R.I.K.E. members. Her twin brother Brian, would eventually become Captain Britain. While working with S.T.R.I.K.E. one of her assignments was to infiltrate the Hellfire Club (her father was the Black Bishop of the London branch), but the mission was soon abandoned when she encountered Sage who warned her to stay away. Mad Jim Jaspers had used his powers to warp reality. There was a group of superhuman hunters after Captain Britain, and Tom Lennox (Betsy's former lover) sacrificed himself to allow Captain Britain enough time to escape. However, Betsy was later kidnapped by Government Officials and was sent into a concentration camp. During her time in the camp she met a woman named Victoria Bentley ( Dr. Strange's friend) and Victoria would teach Betsy how to harness the trauma she had gone through and use it to power her psionic abilities and energies. Eventually they would be let out after Captain Britain stopped Jaspers. Upon repairing the damages that was caused by the reality warp, an alternate version of Captain Britain called Captain Briton came and switched places with Captain Britain, and handed him over to the Technet who were after Captain Briton . He then proceeded to try and rape Betsy, but in self-defence Betsy attacked him mentally and killed him.
When the RCX agency (which took over S.T.R.I.K.E.) approached Brian and asked him to help them. Brian refused, so they would trick Brian into leaving America. One of the agents in RCX was Betsy's other former lover from S.T.R.I.K.E., Matthew (now named Gabriel). He would persuade Betsy to take the mantle of Captain Britain and she received training from Captain UK (a Captain Britain from an alternate universe). While wearing the Captain Britain costume, it gave her enhanced abilities and enabled her to fly. Betsy would assume this role while Captain Britain was away working for the covert British agency RCX. Betsy was then lured into a trap by one of her brother's enemy, Vixen. She was almost beaten to death by Slaymaster until Betsy was able to telepathically contact her brother. Captain Britain came in time and crushed the head of Slaymaster. Betsy was unfortunately blinded in the process. She was offered cybernetic eyes from RCX but refused to take them and decided to rely on her telepathy to see. Gabriel would soon propose to Betsy, which she accepted. The couple went on vacation to Switzerland so Betsy could recuperate in peace.
In Switzerland, Betsy was seeing with her telepathy to see the world through the eyes of the other people around her. There, she was captured by Mojo and Spiral, who held her captive for about a year, during which they gave her bionic eyes to replace the damaged ones, named her “Psylocke“ and made her the star of a TV show called "Wildways", which actually was an otherdimensional realm. Kids all over the world were encouraged to call a certain phone number and join the Wildways and, ultimately, the New Mutants became involved too. After Warlock and Cypher were able to release Betsy from Mojo’s hold, all of them returned to Westchester. Betsy decided to stay at Xavier’s school, wanting to learn how to master her powers, since she had been a victim too long. Strangely, the bionic eyes remained with Betsy, giving her visual sight again. Little did she know that the implanted eyes could also function as cameras that allowed Mojo to record everything she saw and broadcast it as TV shows in his Mojoverse. Over the next days, Psylocke discovered, through her telepathy, that Doug Ramsey of the New Mutants was in love with her. Even though she had similar feelings, she did not explore their relationship further since he was under age. When Sabretooth invaded the mansion while the X-Men and New Mutants were away on assignments, Betsy protected the children at the mansion and was able to last long enough until Wolverine arrived to engage in one on one combat with Sabretooth. Betsy would then scan Sabretooth's mind to figure out his plans. It was her bravery in risking her life luring Sabretooth away from the Xavier Institute and the injured inside that earned her Wolverine's respect. Later when the X-Men shows became an outstanding success, Mojo tried to turn them into his loyal servants by reducing them to childhood and raising them anew, yet they were saved by the New Mutants. During the fight, Betsy learned of the purpose of the bionic eyes, but she decided to keep it secret. During a battle with Adversary, Betsy was killed, then resurrected and teleported away to Australia by Roma. After this Betsy decided to wear an armour to protect herself. Later, Storm was thought to be dead and several other X-Men like Wolverine and Rogue were missing, so Psylocke took leadership of the X-Men. Much to the dislike of Havok who didn't trust Betsy because of her casual reading of his mind.
To prevent the X-Men's death, which she had foreseen in a precognitive vision, Betsy sent the team through the Siege Perilous, a device given to her by Roma, Merlyn's daughter. The Siege Perilous would give them all new lives. Betsy awoke on an island near China without her memories. She was found by the evil ninja group, The Hand. The leader of The Hand, Matsuo Tsurayaba, wanted to save the life of his brain-dead girlfriend, Kwannon. To do so, he had Spiral's Bodyshoppe switch Betsy's and Kwannon's souls. Spiral not only switched their bodies but also fused their minds and physical features. They shared the same memories and shared half of Psylocke's telepathic powers. Betsy was given to The Mandarin to serve as his assassin. While working as an assassin, Betsy changed her armour to a more revealing outfit, and learned to focus her psychic energy and turn them into the "psychic knife". On her first assignment as Lady Mandarin, she had to battle Wolverine. When she stabbed Wolverine in the head with her psychic knife, it showed her his memories and revealed to Psylocke who she truly was. Psylocke then rejected her role as Lady Mandarin and escaped with Wolverine and Jubilee to Genosha. In Genosha Psylocke, Wolverine, and Jubilee discovered that the X-Men and the New Mutants had been captured by Cameron Hodge. They also met Havok on Genosha, then they went on and defeated Cameron Hodge. Once the X-Men were free they all headed back to New York. Not long after the X-men went into space and battled the Skrull and rescued Charles Xavier. They returned to Earth and along with X-factor defeated the Shadow King. A few days later Rachel Grey aka the Phoenix lost control of her powers and the X-men attempted to help her, she killed Charles Xavier in a fit of rage much to the horror of her team-mates.
Hero Name: Toad
Legal Name: Mortimer Toynbee
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Age: 24
Sexuality: Pansexual
Description (Appearance): Toad, when standing, is only 5'3'' tall; however, he spends most of his time crouched low to the ground in a ready to hop stance. His dirty, white blond hair, is usually unkempt and his sallow complexion makes his blue eyes stand out. His arms and legs are unnaturally long and he has webbing between his fingers and toes. While he does make the effort to bath, it has hard to rid him of his naturally stagnate water odor. Toad is keenly aware of his appearance and how unpleasant and awkward he appears. He tends to wear heavy clothing, which is old and well worn. Not one for fashion, due to not caring and lack of funds, he is not one to turn his nose up at digging through trash for discarded shirts and pants. Due to his eyes being adapted for underwater use, the sunlight can hurt them and cause the whites to get bloodshot with strain, so he tends to wear a pair of beat up, simple, black sunglasses he found once on a train.
Powers:
Superhuman Leaping: Toad's primary mutant power is the ability to leap to heights and distances far greater than that of an ordinary human. He has a vertical leap of over 24 feet and a horizontal jump of approximately 36 feet in a single leap. No definite limit to his leaping ability is yet known and can likely increase with age and training. Although Toad usually stands in a crouching position, he can stand erect if he wishes, the crouching position allows him quicker leaping if the situation calls for it. His unusually flexible spine enables him to crouch continually without strain.
Superhuman Stamina: Toad's muscles produce much less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the muscles of an ordinary human. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair him.
Superhuman Agility: Toad's bodily coordination and balance are enhanced to levels that are beyond the human body's natural limits.
Superhuman Durability: Toad's body is somewhat tougher and more resistant to physical injury than an ordinary human's. He can withstand impacts and physical trauma that would severely injure or kill an ordinary human with moderate discomfort.
Super-Prehensile Tongue: Toad has the ability to extend his tongue up to 25 feet in distance and ensnare objects and people. His tongue is superhumanly strong to the extent that he once killed a man by ensnaring him with his tongue and squeezing him, causing the man to be crushed to death much like a snake constricting it's prey.
Superhuman Strength: The Toad is superhumanly strong, primarily in his lower body, and is capable of leg pressing 3 tons. He possesses superhuman strength in his upper body as well, although to a much lower degree, and can lift about 1 ton.
Mind Alteration: Toad's super-prehensile tongue contains mind altering toxins. Only mildly effective.
Toxic Saliva: He is also able to spit a caustic phlegmatic substance.
Paralytic Resin: His pores secrete a mucus resin that adheres to any surface and paralyzes the nervous systems of whatever it touches.
Superhuman Respiratory System: Toad can hold his breath underwater for nearly forty-five minutes. The more he trains his lungs, the longer he can stay under. In desperate situations, his body will naturally begin to draw water in through the skin like fishes gills and draw small amounts of oxygen out of it.
Amphibian Control: Toad has demonstrated the ability to psionically communicate with amphibian life, such as frogs, toads, newts, and salamanders.
Weaknesses:
Combat: Toad is not hand to hand combat trained. Much of his fighting is based on wildly kicking and spitting till his enemy is either worn down or he can get away.
Mentality: Toad is very emotional and very mentally unstable. He talks to himself quite a bit.
Durability: He is far from invulnerable and can be injured in ways similar to an ordinary human. For instance, he is not bulletproof and can be injured by weapons composed of conventional materials.
Prehensile Tongue: While it's very slick and very strong, if the right person were able to grab hold of it, they would have control of him easily.
Personality: Toad s a shrimpy, smart mouthed, weasely punk with only mildly decent hygiene with a wise guy attitude, who thinks he's tough because of the people he hangs around with. He mouths off seemingly without care for the consequences, but he will cower like a worm if confronted about his talk. He likes to surround himself with stronger people, because it makes him feel powerful.
He tends to fall for people quickly. He will do anything for the person that he is in love with. They tend to be the type of people that would never give him the time of day. Usually very tall, very beautiful or handsome, and very powerful. This stalkerish love is easily broken if the person does something that he finds unattractive. Such things include becoming pregnant (not by him, of course) or showing affection to another person in front of him, or if he is used to seeing them dressing a certain way and they change it drastically.
For the most part, Toad is harmless in his servile complex and stalker tendencies. Most times, he is a yes-man and will not advance on his feelings for a person. He mostly just wants to feel like he belongs somewhere and that people want him around.
In his early teens, he considered himself heterosexual, but as he got older, he found himself sexually attracted to men as well. He knows those feelings were always there, but he'd never given them much thought since it was mostly the motherly attention he craved from women. He realized that gender didn't matter when it came to what he really wanted. Someone to just care about him.
Toad will submit fairly easily to those who give him what he sees as affection, even if they did not mean it that way.
Special Skills and Other:
◾Despite his social awkwardness and seeming lack of intelligence, Toad is capable of understanding and utilizing advanced, even alien, technology. He is, however, unable to build it himself.
◾Toad has always had an unstable mutation, thanks to his infancy in the Black Womb Project. He is unaware of the experiments done to him.
◾He has an extreme disliking of mutants who have physical mutations like his own (Nightcrawler, Beast, and the like), but seem to have 'happier' lives than he does or have more friends than he does. Jealousy.
◾Toad is more intelligent than most realize, but it has it's limitations. While he could build complicated machinery and even use it, he has no skill in advancing it to a more efficient machine and no skill to design something on his own.
Equipment:
None.
Studying/Teacher:
Character History: Before his birth and for a year or two of his infancy, Toad was part of the Black Womb Project. The program took unborn and infant mutants to experiment on. They were pumped full of drugs and put through various forms of sensory deprivation. Toad, as an infant, was subject to sleep studies where a machine forcibly kept him awake for days on end. Many of these experiments are the cause of Toad's currently unstable mutation and unstable mentality.
Mortimer Toynbee was born in York, England, and was soon abandoned by the Black Womb Project once they gained whatever information they needed from him. No parents claimed him and he was sent off to an orphanage, where he was constantly tormented by other children due to his ugliness and strangely shaped body (as his mutant appearance was present from birth). He was considered to be mentally inferior due to his extreme shyness and mild learning disabilities during his primary school years, though he was actually quite intelligent. He dropped out at an extremely early age and decided to fend for himself. Based on years of abuse and knowing full well he was a freak, Mortimer developed a severe inferiority complex, becoming servile to anyone that showed him the slightest bit of affection.
At sixteen, he met and lost his virginity to a prostitute. Like many weak minded men to women who treat them 'well', he thought she was in love with him. He spent weeks stealing things for her and eventually told her that he was in love with her. Told her that he wanted to marry her. Such is common with these situations, she laughed him off. Toad can't remember exactly what happened, but he fled to the states when the papers stated that a prostitute's body had been found with her neck snapped. The marks around her neck showed that she'd been strangled by something long enough to wrap around without any breaks and squeezed. Fearing he'd done it in a black out rage, he ran.
He was recruited into Magneto's Brotherhood, becoming Magneto's sycophantic 'toady'. Toad believed that Magneto loved him like a son. Ignoring the fact that everyone treated him like a human shield. He has also developed a crush on Magneto's daughter, Wanda, and is seemingly oblivious to her either repulsion or complete lack of knowledge that he might even exist.
At twenty, he met and fell in love with a non-mutant man. Like the prostitute, he thought the other male loved him. Toad never questioned why the man never let allowed Toad to kiss him or go beyond simple hand holding when they were alone. He simply accepted it and bought/stole anything the man wanted. It was only when he saw the man kissing someone else that he realized that he was being used. Instead of blacking out again, he simply shut down for a while. Nearly starvinghimself to death in depression.
With the seeming downfall of Magneto, Toad is unsure of where he belongs any more.
Despite his many run ins with the X-Men and various other groups, he decided to swallow whatever form of little pride he had and offer himself up to them. It wasn't like he truly believed in the things Magneto always went on about, nor does he believe in what the X-Men does. He doesn't view himself as a member of the team, not truly, and doesn't expect other people to do so either. Most seem to understand that he just goes where he thinks he can survive.
Toad just wants to live and maybe even attempt to make up for some of the crimes in his past in whatever ways he can.
During moments of complete mental clarity, he seems well aware of what a horrible person he truly is (even if he isn't truly evil) and he pities himself.
Ons:  Toad has little in the way of sexual experience, but he knows he likes kissing and cuddling. It makes him feel wanted. Toad can see no reason why he would deny his partner (should he ever really have one) anything they wanted sexually, even if he wasn't comfortable with it.
Offs: Rape. Humiliation. Being physically restricted (though he isn't sure he would deny it happening if it was what his partner wanted).
VoluptuousVixen
#5
Hero Name: Storm
Legal Name: Ororo Munero
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Age: 27
Sexuality: Bisexual (Leans towards men)
Description (Appearance): Storm is six foot 1 and has an perfectly Amazonian like body. She dresses in both western and eastern fashions. She sports a white mohwak and wears a lot of leather and *biker chick* looks these days. Long legs, a round ass and round firm breasts she is rather the catch. A beautiful face that resembles that of her deceased mother. She also has blue eyes which is not uncommon for the women in her family.
Powers:
Atmokinesis: \Storm can demonstrate atmokinesis in many ways she controls every form of weather she specifically has a strong connection to lightning and wind
◾Flight: She has the ability to fly by gliding on wind currents. She can also move objects or other people with the wind or create a dome of air pressure to deflect attacks. Storm's power over air pressure has also been used to crush powerful objects such as skrull warships. She has even created pressure (on earth) higher than that found on Jupiter. Storm's powers grant her the ability to fly as high as the atmosphere can be stretched by using her mastery over wind. She can even carry other people with her.
◾Energy Manipulation: When using her powers, Storm becomes one with the energy patterns she manipulates. This gives her the ability to project weather effects through her body. For instance, she can generate lightning, intense cold, and intense heat, from her hands rather than from her actual atmosphere. Her power over thunder has been used to create deafening sounds for distracting her enemies. She can create powerful tornadoes,cyclones,typhoons, hurricanes, and various winds that are capable of moving a vast number of objects/people including levitating an entire building, and sending the Hulk soaring away from her and her teammates. Her ability over water and its forms has been shown by her creating heavy rainfall, and instant floods that have even "washed" away savage land dinosaurs. Control over moisture and temperature allows Storm to freeze/flash freeze objects and people in the blink of an eye.
Weather Resistance: She seems unaffected by the weather, including lightning and temperature. While in the past, Storm has been attacked with (and harmed) by lightning/electric blasts she hasn't created herself, and almost overheated due to trying to adjust to violent weather, it appears that the more experienced she gets, the less the weather seems to harm her, both indirectly, and directly. This is further shown by her being able to reverse/counter electrically based attacks.
◾Earth-Link: Storm's mutant powers has created a psychic bond between herself and the primal life force of Earth's biosphere. This bond with the Earth and apparently the entire universe, gives Storm spiritual and material sustenance with an almost empathic sense towards living thing. Her bond with the biospheres while in outer space somehow allowed her to reverse her transformation into a brood queen, summon a solar flare and the ability and call upon a large amount of cosmic energy.
Special Skills and Other:
Expert Thief: Extraordinary ability at picking locks and pockets, escape artist; therefore, she is very stealthy and good at sneaking up on people.
◾Expert Combatant: Ororo is a gifted and formidable hand-to-hand combatant with years of close quarter combat experience. She was trained by Achmed El Gibar and the Black Panther in her youth, and later extensively trained by Wolverineand learned techniques from the ronin Yukio. She has bested more powerful hand-to-hand fighters like Callisto by using her prowess and her cunning.
◾Expert Gardener: Ororo is also an excellent gardener she is owing to her supernatural abilities and has her own botanical gardens at the Xavier Mansion.
◾Expert Tactician: Storm has strong natural leadership skills, and with that she has lead teams of X-Men for years. She is a highly accomplished and skilled strategist, tactician, and field commander.
◾Weapon Proficiency: She is an excellent marksman with handguns and is experienced in the use of various firearms. Ororo is also highly skilled with wielding knives, she is experienced in the use of the bo staff, and trained in sword fighting by the finest warriors in Wakanda.
◾High Influential Connections: As Queen of Wakanda, Storm has access to a vast collection of magical artifacts, technological and military hardware (including Vibranium), as well as the support of the nation's wide array of scientists, adventurers, and superheroes.
◾Diplomatic Immunity: As the leader of a sovereign nation, Storm often visits the United States or the United Nations for political reasons. She enjoys diplomatic immunity during these trips, and her embassy is considered foreign soil.
◾Multi-lingual: Storm is fluent in English, Arabic, Japanese, Wakandan, and Yoruba.
◾Aviation: Storm has skill in piloting advanced aircraft that include the Blackbird.
== Disadvantages ==
Storm is colostrphobic which at times renders her useless in battle for her savvier panic attacks. her friends and family can be used against her. She also is subseptiable to telepathic attacks especially from her old nemesis the Shadow King.
Equipment: X-communicator, Two Morlock daggers concealed in her costume.
History:
Storm is the descendant of an ancient line of African priestesse's all of whom have white hair, blue eyes, and the potential to wield magic. Her mother, N'Dare, was the princess of a tribe in Kenya. She married the American photojournalist David Munroe and moved with him to Manhattan, where Ororo was born. When Ororo was seven months old, she and her parents moved to Cairo, Egypt. At the age of five, during a bombing in an Arab-Israeli Conflict, a plane crashed into their home.
Storm is the descendant of an ancient line of African priestesse's all of whom have white hair, blue eyes, and the potential to wield magic. Her mother, N'Dare, was the princess of a tribe in Kenya. She married the American photojournalist David Munroe and moved with him to Manhattan, where Ororo was born.  When Ororo was seven months old, she and her parents moved to Cairo, Egypt. At the age of five, during a bombing in an Arab-Israeli Conflict, a plane crashed into their home.
Ororo's parents were killed, but she survived, buried under rubble near her mother's body. This traumatizing effect left Ororo with the severe claustrophobia that still afflicts her today. Ororo managed to escape the rubble of her shattered home with nothing but the tattered clothes on her back and her mother's ancestral ruby. Homeless and orphaned, Ororo was found by a gang of street urchins who took her to their master, Achmed el-Gibar. Achmed trained Ororo in the arts of thievery and she soon became his prize pupil, excelling in picking both pockets and locks. During her time in Cairo, Ororo picked the pocket of an American tourist. The man proved no easy mark, however, as he was Charles Xavier, a powerful mutant telepath who used his abilities to stop the theft. At that moment, Xavier was psionically attacked by another mutant and Ororo used the opportunity to escape.  Years later, feeling a strong urge to wander south, Ororo left Cairo. During her travels, Ororo naively accepted a ride from a complete stranger and was almost raped by him. Forced to defend herself, Ororo killed the man. From that moment, she swore never to take another human life. Ororo wandered for thousands of miles, almost dying during her trek across the Sahara Desert. Her mutant ability to psionically control the weather emerged soon after, and she was able to use them to rescue T'Challa, a prince of the African nation of Wakanda, from his would-be kidnappers. The pair spent much time together, however T'Challa's duties as a prince prevented them from further exploring their burgeoning mutual attraction. Finally, Ororo reached her ancestors' homeland on the Serengeti Plain in Kenya. She was taken in by an elderly tribal woman named Ainet who taught her to be responsible with her powers. Ororo soon came to be the object of worship of the local tribes who believed her to be a goddess due to her gift.
After serving with the team for many years, Storm was appointed leader of the team following the departure of former leader Cyclops after the apparent death of Jean. Storm was initially unsure about her new role, but with the support of her team-mates she soon became a capable leader. When Cyclops eventually returned to the team, Storm found herself doubting her leadership abilities once more after a mission she led went wrong. However, she soon asserted her position, reminding Cyclops that she was now team leader. Later, after the X-Men were captured and taken into space by the insectoid alien race known as the Brood, Storm fought back but her powers flared out of control. She discovered that she had been implanted with a Brood egg that would hatch and transform her into one of the aliens. Not wanting to unleash such an evil into the world, Storm attempted to commit suicide by channeling all of the surrounding stellar energy into her own body, destroying the Brood embryo but leaving her drifting unprotected in space. She would have died in the vacuum had it not been for a member of the Acanti, a race of spacefaring whale-like creatures that had been enslaved by the Brood. The Acanti that saved Storm was revealed to be the caretaker of the soul of his entire race who had lost his mother to the Brood and needed guidance. Storm agreed to let her consciousness guide the young Acanti whilst it healed her damaged body, and, after the Brood were defeated, a restored Storm returned home with the X-Men. Soon after, the X-Men encountered the underground community of mutants known as the Morlocks who had kidnapped one of their former members, Angel. To save her friends, Storm challenged the Morlock leader Callisto to a duel and bested her in hand-to-hand combat. As a result, Storm became leader of the Morlocks and she ordered them to cease their hostilities against the surface-dwelling humans. When the X-Men later traveled to Japan to attend the wedding of their team member Wolverine, Storm first met the ninja named Yukio. A friend of Wolverine's, Yukio was the most carefree spirit that Ororo had ever met and the two became lovers. Yukio influenced a major rebellious change in Storm's attitude towards life, and she took to wearing leather and shaved her hair into a Mohawk.
Storm later had her powers accidentally neutralized by a gun invented by the mutant machinist named Forge, who took it upon himself to nurse Storm back to health. During her convalescence, Storm and Forge fell in love but their relationship was cut short after Storm learned Forge had created the device that stripped her of her powers. Storm subsequently quit the X-Men and returned to Africa where she finally came to terms with losing her mutant ability. their friends and families from their many enemies, the X-Men must fake their deaths and become an underground proactive strike force. Soon Storm realized that she needed her powers restored and so she sought out Forge for his help. She found Forge's old mentor Naze instead, who informed her that Forge had been corrupted by his nemesis, the Adversary, and was seeking to destroy the world. Unbeknown to Storm, the Adversary had actually corrupted Naze. When Storm finally located Forge, she found him atop a mountain seemingly opening a dimensional portal filled with demons. Storm struck Forge down, and only then realized he had been attempting to close the portal, not open it. The Adversary then trapped Storm and Forge in the other dimension and seized control of Dallas, warping time and space in order to foment chaos on Earth. Storm and Forge spent a year on an alternate Earth, during which time they made peace and admitted their love for one another. Forge used components from his cybernetic leg to fashion a new device that restored Storm's powers which she then used to energize a portal back to their own world.
They rejoined the X-Men in time to defeat the Adversary, imprisoning him at the cost of their own lives. However, the Omniversal Guardian named Roma restored the X-Men to life, freeing the Adversary under the notion that there could be no order without chaos. Soon after, Storm was captured by the crazed scientist known as Nanny who sought to use Storm's abilities in her quest to liberate the world's super-powered children by making orphans of them. Nanny used her technology to de-age Storm to her pre-teens and strip her memories so as to better sway the mutant to her cause. However, Storm fought back and overloaded Nanny's device. Once more a child with no memories of her life as an X-Man, the young Storm returned to her life as a thief. On one caper, she found herself the target of the psychic being known as the Shadow King but was saved by a fellow mutant and thief named Gambit. The pair formed a partnership and, after Storm regained her memories, she took Gambit to meet the X-Men. Storm was eventually restored to adulthood after the X-Men were captured by agents of the island nation of Genosha who used mutants as slaves. Storm underwent the mutate transformation process, however the Genoshan Genegineer and Chief Magistrate were members of a rebel faction. They restored Storm's body and mind, and the X-Men were able to defeat their aggressors. Not long after Rachel Grey became consumed by the Phoenix force and murdered Charles Xaiver.
Captain Whitebread
Character Sheets:
Hero Name: Shrike
Legal Name: Christopher Hayes
Origin of Powers: Natural Genetic Mutation (Homo sapien avius)
Age: 17
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Description (Appearance): Christopher is small, barely over five feet tall and, despite looking like he weighs 135-165, he weighs only 65 pounds.  He's slender and lithe but he hates being called 'petite'.  He looks far younger than he is, which causes him considerable amounts of trouble.  Combined with his small stature, it frequently leads to him being treated like a child.  He favours pastel colours and clothing that he can move in.  His voice is soft and low but he is quite capable of raising it to astonishing volumes to make himself heard in a crowded gymnasium.  He has piercing pale blue eyes that seem to be constantly in motion like those of a bird, tracking movement. His pale skin provides a sharp contrast with his dark hair.   His mopst obvious feature is, of course, a twelve foot wingspan
Powers: Power(s):
Flight - Shrike has wings that allow him to fly.  He has yet to break the sound barrier but he continues to try, especially in power dives.
Hollow bones - Although at first this might seem like a disadvantage, Shrike's hollow bones are similar to graphite or carbon fiber, being light but incredibly tough.  This allows Shrike to survive the punishing impact when he hits his target during a 500+ mph power dive attack.  His bones also heal incredibly quickly; a crushed wing can be functional again inside of a month.  The reduced weight also allows him to stand on surfaces that would not support the weight of others of similar size.
Pinion attack - Shrike is capable of launching his feathers like so many throwing knives.  Made of material similar to his bones, they are light, strong and entirely non-metallic.  This limits the materials they will penetrate but they are razor sharp and can leave marks on most metals.
Because of an increased metabolism, Shrike must eat far more than a normal individual.  This forces him to be active only for short periods.  He occasionally carried high protein, high calorie snacks in case he needs a short boost but even these will only stave of hunger and exhaustion for so long.
Obviously he only has a limited number of pinions that he can use before it begins to affect his flying. He needs at least 50% of his feathers to fly so if his wings get mangles he's walking home (assuming he survives) and nursing a grudge for the next month while his wings heal.  Of course if they are ripped off, he's not going to be able to regrow them.
Personality:  Christopher is an adrenaline junkie. He enjoys the rush of flight and the thrill of combat. Despite his youth,  he's making the most of his gifts.  He knows that he can't keep up this pace forever.  He has been granted one of the most common of wishes - he can fly.  He's fast. He's manoeuvrable.  Some might even consider him sexy.   He's fairly certain that one day he will crash and burn in a very spectacular manner but for the time being he is the Shrike and he's going to enjoy every aspect of what that means.
Special Skills and Other: Shrike has the agility of a trained gymnast; small wonder because he's been training in gymnastics and martial arts since he could walk.  He can dodge most non-laser based attacks while he is in the air.  He has exceptional balance and a keen sense of direction, using the Earth's magnetic field to navigate.  His sense of direction is highly vulnerable to electromagnetic interference; more than once he has ploughed into a building at full speed because of an EM burst. Years of training have given him a significant skill at martial arts. He refers to his fighting style as 'Crane Style' but this is more facetiousness than truth.
Equipment:  He's also been able to fabricated body armour out of his own feathers, giving him some added protection against small arms fire and weak explosives.  He's never tested it against blades because he doesn't intend to get that close.
Studying/Teacher: He's hoping to study some conbination of Engineering, Chemistry and Aeronautics, with the goal of designing lighter and more durable aircraft.
Character History: Christopher started taking gymnastics and martial arts as soon as he was able.  Even as a child he dreamed of the Olympics, intending to follow in the footsteps of his older brother.  Those dreams ended when he hit puberty and his body started to change.
He was used to having his muscles screaming for relief and having sweat dripping from him in rivers but then he'd never expected to grow wings.  Days of agony turned into weeks.  His parents sought out doctors to try and ease his sufffering but the wait time to get in to see them was prohibitive.  They and he were forced to wait things out.
Once the changes in his body were finished, it took him months to relearn his balance.  His future as an Olympian lay in tatters, completely unrecoverable.  Fighting severe depression, he contemplated suicide.  It was during this period that Xavier's school approached his family, offering help.  They gratefully accepted and Christopher became a student.
Counselling helped him accept the changed that occurred to his body and it taught him that he was more than just Christopher Hayes.   He was the Shrike.  It took him four years to learn how to use his new body to its fullest and to return to what he considered peak condition. Now he's ready to stretch his wings, literally as well as figuratively, and do something to make the world a safer place.
Bank left... bank right... bank left, bank right.  Pattern changes because of the intersection.  Skip two poles.  Bank left, bank right. Across the intersection and PULL UP!
It was all a big game.  Weaving between the lamp posts while flying as fast as he could wasn't even close to being the ultimate test of his speed and maneuverability.  Flying straight at the glass side of an office building and then pulling up at the last second, THAT was the ultimate test.  If he missed the turn, he'd end up a glass covered pile of bloody feathers.  He might even end up dead.  That just made the game even better.
He watched his mirror twin in the reflective glass, matching him wing beat for wing beat.  He smiled.  He was perfect.  He was glorious.  He was going to change the world.
He burst past the top of the building, into the dazzling sunlight.   He beat his wings harder and faster.  Icarus had flown too close to the sun and melted his wings.  That was a mistake he could never make.  His wings weren't wax and feathers, they were part of him.  Unless he wanted to, he never needed to walk again.
In the distance he could make out the tell-tale shape of Xavier's school.  There was something going on at the school today.  He just knew it.  He threw himself into a steep dive, leveling off just above the traffic and headed back towards the school, his home for the last few years.  He didn't care if he was supposed to hide his wings.  It wasn't like he could fold them up and put them in a box or hide them under his bed.  They were him and he was them.  He couldn't hide them, no matter what they told him to do.
He grinned and started to put on speed.  “Look out you bastards!  Here I come!”
The smile vanished from his face when a voice rang in his head. Don't forget to pick up milk.
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
Juggtacular
#7
Hero Name: The "Unstoppable" Juggernaut
Legal Name: Cain Leslie Marko
Origin of Powers: Mystical
Age: 70's(immortally set in his late 20's-early 30's)
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Description (Appearance): Cain is a handsome devil to start off, with strong features like a chiseled jawline, piercing blue eyes and perfect white teeth. His hair is a very dark strawberry blonde that's often seen as light brown, but you can see it if the light hits it just right. He tends to look good with some scruff, or even a full beard, so sometimes he likes to let it grow out...looks kinda weird under the helmet though; like he's a Star Trek evil clone or something. Still, he makes it work. Cain is a buff, mountain of a man. He normally stands about seven feet tall, and weighs nearly 300lbs. However when actively drawing on Cyttorak's energies, he can grow to at least nine feet, and his weight increases immensely.
Powers:
Superhuman Strength: Cain's strength is vast. Simply put there is no known way to actually fully measure the full extent of his strength, and there may well be no limit as he seems to be as strong as necessary. He's knocked down a cosmic entity named "The Stranger" who is a match for Galactus and was 50 feet tall at the time. He's tangled with Hulk and Thor multiple times, and punched through dimensions.
Superhuman Durability: Cain's durability matches his strength and he can handle physical assaults from pretty much anybody, while giving as good as he gets.
Superhuman Stamina: Cain is powered solely by magic, so he has an unlimited amount of stamina, able to exert himself and fight as long as necessary. Furthermore, as he is fully sustained by magic, he is immortal, has no need to eat, sleep, breathe,  or drink(although he still can and does), and is immune to poisons and diseases as well.
Superhuman Speed: Once Cain gets moving, he can really build up some speed. His top speed isn't known, but he can run at least 600mph, although he usually has no reason to go that fast.
Mystical Powers: While Cain focuses almost primarily on physical combat, he does possess additional powers granted by Cyttorak. For example, the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak is a spell that binds people in nearly unbreakable metal shackles made of the same material as his own arm bands and helmet. Beyond that, he can fire off mystical beams of energy and more, although he mainly just blasts things.
Healing Factor: Should he be injured, Cain is capable of healing at an extraordinary rate. Once he was flayed down to a skeleton, and his anger actually kept him alive.
Force Field: This is more for convenience than actual need. Cain possesses the ability to erect a forcefield and expand it outward to cover his body or even a group around him. He mainly uses it in case he doesn't want something to touch him, but it proves useful if he wants to protect friends and teammates.
Unstoppable Force: As the Avatar of Cytorrak, Cain is the physical embodiment of Raw Power, and one of his greatest abilities is unstoppable momentum. Once he begins moving, there is almost nothing that can stop him. He can be slowed down, redirected, and momentarily halted. But once he begins on a path, the only person who can truly stop him, is him.
Disadvantages:  Cain only has two known weaknesses. The first and foremost being telepathy and psionic intrusion. He has absolutely no defense from telepathic assault, and any decent telepath can take him out of a fight or turn him to their side with ease if they make it past his helmet. His second is ironically himself. A well known fact is that no outside force can stop the Juggernaut once he gets going. He can be slowed, but never stopped. If someone or something could slow him, and then suddenly move...well unstoppable momentum certainly has it's drawbacks.
Personality:  Cain is a hard man, and that's from having a hard life. As a child, his father abused him, while at the same time treating his step-brother Charles like a prince. He eventually found out that his old man did it to suck up to Charlie's mom and get the  money she inherited from her husband when he "died".  It didn't make it any better, but the money he got when his own father died took away the sting...just a bit.
The constant abuse and neglect had two results; one being that Cain is for the most part mean as a defense mechanism. The other being that he has an intense hate for Xavier and anyone associated with him; well he used to. Recently he's finally come to terms with the fact that none of the pain in his youth was Charles fault, while all of the pain he caused Charlie was his own.
He respects strength more than anything, seeing as that's what he's all about; so if you can show him some kind of strength, he'll give you the time of day and not look down on you. If he thinks your a pansy, well you got a couple chances to prove him wrong.
His brothers sudden and unexpected death has tempered Cain's attitude some, and softened him up while also strengthening his resolve.
Special Skills and Other:
Military Tactics - Cain was in a highly efficient mercenary company for a while. And after that he joined the US Army and fought in the Korean War. He is well versed in military tactics of all forms.
Criminal Mind - From about the time he was legal, Cain has been a criminal in one way, shape or form. Petty theft, grand theft auto, robbery, breaking and entering. He's got a rap sheet longer than he is tall.
Equipment: Crimson Cosmos Armor: Through a mental command, Cain can summon his mystical armor at any time around his body. The metal is made of an unknown composition, but it's found only in the Crimson Cosmos Dimension where Cyttorak makes his home. It is incredibly durable, and on the chance it is damaged, Cain can repair it with his magic.
Crimson Helmet: The highly identifiable helmet that Cain wears on his head is more than just a cosmetic choice, the metal wreaks hell on psionics of all kinds and even the most powerful telepath can't get through. It's also very durable, but can be damaged and destroyed.
Studying/Teacher: Physical Training(not to be confused with P.E.) & Strength Training 213(for students with superhuman strength/durability)
Character History:  Cain was born to Dr. Kurt Marko and Marjorie Marko. For the first few yeers of his life, everything was tolerable, but eventually his parents divorced, and with his father being too busy for work, and his mother off doing her own thing, he was sent to Boarding School. He got expelled from each and everyone one. And  by the time he came back, his mother had died and his father had remarried, and was now living with his new wife and her son in a mansion out in Westchester. Turns out dear old dad married his partners wife after he died during a research expedition. Sharon was loaded though, and Cain had a pretty good idea that that was why little Charlie got better treatment than him. Besides treating Charles like a king, Cain's father beat him mercilessly, which of course caused him to hate Charles even more. After it was discovered that Kurt only married Sharon for her money, she died from a broken heart.
Now Cain was stuck with his deadbeat dad, his step-brother, and a shitload of cash. During his early teen years, Cain got in an argument with his father over money of all things, and during that argument he accused Kurt of being behind his partners supposed accident. It turns out that it really was an accident, and while Kurt didn't cause it, he didn't save Xavier either. that got a rise out of dad, and another beating ensued. Finally, Cain got fed up and he tossed a few vials against the wall of his dad's lab; that was a bad idea though, since several volatile chemicals mixed and caused an explosion. Kurt saved Cain and Charles(who'd been eavesdropping at the door) from the fire, but died in the process.
He died from smoke inhalation, and his last words were a warning to Charles about his son. Even to the end he never had a nice thing to say about Cain. So unsurprisingly, Cain could care less that he was dead. Now it was just Cain and Charles, in a big ole house and a  bank account with more cash in it than either of them could ever spend. One day Cain got so pissed he got into a fight with Charles, but his little brother could read his mind and knew every move before he made it.
Needless to say, Cain's hate hadn't died down any, so he took all of the money left to him in the will and left. Well what happens when a guy full of rage and hatred is out on the streets; usually he turns to crime. In this case though, it was legal. All Cain was ever good at was fighting, and even with more money than he could count, he was bored and restless. He joined a mercenary operation and ended up in a third world gulag when the revolutionaries who hired him suffered a crushing defeat.
While imprisoned, he met a man named Black Tom Cassidy who revealed himself as a mutant and helped Cain escape. They became the best of friends. Years later Cain ended up serving in Korea, and in a seemingly cruel twist of fate, he and Charles were placed in the same unit. Things were going great until Command sent them into an obvious ambush just to try and gain some ground. They were outnumbered and outgunned; Cain had never been stupid, and he knew staying meant death.
He deserted and Charlie being the goodie goodie that he was, went to bring him back. Cain found himself in a huge cave that housed a temple of some sort. Little did he know it was the temple of Cyttorak. Once inside, a gigantic ruby drew his attention. If he made it back, he could sell that thing and get millions at least, as it seemed flawless and was bigger than his fist. It rested on the lap of an idol of Cyttorak, and Charles found him just as he lifted the gem and read the inscription on the altar.
"Whosoever touches this gem shall possess the power of the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak. Henceforth, you who read these words shall become forevermore a human Juggernaut!" A blinding flash of ruby light filled the temple, and when it faded, Cain stood transformed. Bigger, more powerful than ever. Before Charles even got to say anything, a mortar strike shook the cavern and caused the entire cave complex to collapse. Charles made it out, but Cain was buried under several thousand tons of rock and debris.
It took a few years, but he eventually dug his way out and hitched a cargo container back to the US. The first thing he did was seek out his brother, and he fought through all of his X-Men to get to him. He was the Juggernaut, and they couldn't stop him. But the Human Torch melted a portion of his helmet, and when they got it off, Charles put him in a psychically induced coma.
A series of events after that trapped Cain in the Crimson Cosmos, where simply by existing and being the avatar of Cyttorak, he unlocked mystical secrets that he never knew about his powers. While attempting to free himself, he wound up in Nightmare's dimension of dreams and helped Dr. Strange save the cosmic entity known as Eternity. After that, he attacked Eternity to force him to send him home, but was instead banished back to the Crimson Cosmos.
Eventually a scientist accidentally sent Hulk into the Crimson Cosmos and Juggernaut traded places with him in a specially designed Hulkbuster Cell. The machine malfunctioned and Hulk came back, and along with Juggernaut they escaped the facility. Only when Cain started terrorizing the people, he and Hulk got into a brawl.
Hulk caught him off guard and grabbed his helmet, and the force snapped the helmet off and sent Cain flying. Before he could come back for a rematch, Charles found him and once again put him into a coma. Later, he was freed and after a series of adventures ended up in New York where he battled Spider-Man. The web head couldn't beat him, but he tricked him into a deep pit of wet cement. Despite being unstoppable, the cement was too thick and heavy for him to move in, so he was forced to wait until it hardened and dried around him.
It took Cain months to tunnel his way out and he ended up causing immense structural damage under the East River(he'd later repair it as Captain Universe). After his escape, it was back to business as usual...right up until some redhaired bitch decided to kill Charlie. The only one allowed that honor was Cain, and having it ripped from him made him realize that he'd spent his entire life hating Charles when he only wanted to help him. It broke his heart to know what he'd done, and that now he'd never get to apologize. So he did the one thing Charlie had ever asked of him. He went straight. He went to the X-Men and joined up, determined to prove to himself that the good Charles saw in him really was there. There's just one tiny issue though...Cain wants Rachel's head on a platter.
Hero Name: Husk
Legal Name: Paige Elisabeth Guthrie
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Age: 19
Sexuality: Bi-Curious
Description (Appearance): Paige is 5'7'', 128lbs, blonde hair, and brown eyed. She's an average girl next door look. Some say she reminds them a little of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She's athletic and health conscious. From her big brown eyes, to her slightly pointed nose, to her slender waist, down her shapely legs, and to her average sized feet; Paige can appear to be a completely normal girl.
Powers:
Transitional Omni-morph Husking: She has the mutant ability to shed her outer layer of skin and reveal a new layer or shape underneath. While she can sometimes acquire new forms, Husk has been able to shift into anything that does not exceed her body mass. Any extra mass left when she shifts into a smaller form such as an insect or a bird is shunted into an unknown extra-dimensional space, and will return to Husk when she resumes her human form, Paige most commonly takes on a Paige-like form in a new material, and much prefers to do that. She can become any solid that she has studied and can imitate adamantium, diamond, granite, wood, rubber, brick, even glass. She is able to shift into liquid substances, including complex acids capable of affecting organic steel. Husk also has the ability to change only part of her body (such as changing a hand into a bladed weapon). When Paige morphs into a different layer, she often takes on new physical abilities or qualities, such as increased weight, strength, or invulnerability. She can husk away minor injuries, but deeper ones will stay with her.
Chameleon: In combination with her Husking ability, she has the capability to blend in with surroundings, but in order to do so, she would have to study the texture she seeks to mimic first.
Weaknesses:
Time: She can only sustain a form for about an hour before having to go back to her original skin.
Repeat Huskings: She can change from one form to the next with no wait time, but it becomes extremely painful for her to do so.
Mentality: Paige suffers from depression and insanity. Most often brought up after a long session of husking. When a fit come on her, she will manifest several different types of skin at once, seemingly unable to control her ability during these fits.
Alcohol: She has a very low tolerance to alcohol.
Personality:
Paige is a kind girl. She likes to see the best in everyone and it can take a great deal for her to lose that trust in a person. She likes to surround herself with people from all walks of life, no matter the threat they might pose to her. A little naive, but only when it comes to first meeting a person. Despite her intelligence, she can make extremely irrational decisions. Paige tries to smile whenever she can.
When a fit of depression or insanity hits, she tends to close off rather than becoming violent. Medication does not seem to help these fits, but they do not tend to last long. She simply seems to close off into herself for a few days. If confronted during a fit, she may verbally lash out and say things she later regrets and apologizes for. Paige sees her depressed and insane side as her more honest side, because as sorry as she said some things, she knows them to be true in a way.
Special Skills and Other:
Gifted intelligence: Paige is highly intelligent. Able to comprehend various pieces of technology with little assistance. Also retains information very easily.
Equipment:
None.
Studying/Teacher:
Studying. Wants to help and teach future mutants in an educational capacity.
Character History:
Paige is the second child of the Guthrie family in Cumberland, Kentucky. When her brother Sam ( Cannonball) left home to become a member of the New Mutants, Paige developed an inferiority complex and became obsessed with the possibility that she could be a mutant. At the age of thirteen she tested herself with a wide range of challenges to try and discover her mutant powers. Unfortunately, Paige's trials only led to depression and frustration. At last her temper broke and she begged God to let her find her powers, threatening that she would tear her skin off if she was not a mutant. She made good on her threat and thus discovered that her mutant powers would allow her to produce additional layers of her skin. So overwhelmed by the discovery of her gifts, Paige dropped to her knees and cried for joy. She had finally become what she always wanted to be. A mutant.
Some have said her ability is 'gross', but she finds being able to rip her own skin off to reveal a new skin to be pretty amazing in a grotesque way. Unable to completely control her ability, she sometimes starts to 'crack' and this caused her family to pull her from public school and finally send her off for the Institute the way Sam had been. It was what she always wanted. To be surrounded by unique people, yet who were just like her.
Paige had a short lived relationship with a non-Mutant girl. It was more romantic, rather than intimate. At first, she did not see it as a relationship, but realized her friend did when the other girl tried to hold her hand. It was at that point that she realized they had been dating and not just hanging out. The relationship ended when Paige confessed that she had not seen it as a relationship and was scared to move forward as it being labeled one. The two haven't seen each other since, but Paige sometimes wonders if something could have happened out of it. Since then, she has had several relationships with mutant and non-mutant men, but no other women.
Currently, she is focused on becoming an X-Man and finishing her schooling to become a teacher. She wants to better the world for future mutants. She is also currently in therapy sessions. If declared too mentally unfit, it could ruin her chances at getting her teaching degree. Because of this, she tries her hardest to keep her personal life as uncomplicated as possible.
NAME: Silver Samurai
REAL NAME: Kenuichio Harada
GENDER: Male
SOURCE OF POWERS: Mutation
AFFILIATIONS: Clan Yashida, Hydra, Big Hero 6, Japanese Goverment
ALLIES: Wolverine, Viper, Mariko, Big Hero 6, his son 'Shin' Harada
ARCH-NEMESIS: Wolverine
ABILITIES
Silver Samurai can channel mutant energy into any object. He creates a tachyon field around it, capable of cutting all except adamantium. The tachyon field is most effective when surrounding a sword or other bladed mêlee weapon.
SKILLS
A master martial artists, he is specialized in hand-to-hand combat, kenjutsu and military tactics. He is also known to expertly use a wide variety of ancient japanese weaponry such as throwing daggers and shurikens (throwing stars). He has also been known to display remarkable feats of acrobatics, athletics and has executed great prowess at stealth.
His battlefield experience and his time leading Big Hero 6, leading the forces of a variety of organisations and his own calm indomitable behaviour ensure he is a good battlefield commander.
WEAPONRY
Silver Samurai always carries a mastercrafted katana. He also frequently wields a secondary blade or a wakizashi. He also frequently uses ancient projectile weapons. For protection he wears armor forged from modern lightweight alloys that displays the esthetics and overall look of silver and white Samurai armor. On occassion he has also made use of a teleportation ring he received from his on-and-off lover Viper.
PERSONALITY
Kenuichio Harada is a complex man. He’s been ruthless villain, loyal minion and noble hero. At the end of the day he follows his own rules, his own morals. His ethics are outdated and clearly based on ancient Japanese honor, ‘BUSHIDO’.
He is conservative, traditionalist, headstrong but also very brave, dutyful and sophisticated.
A warrior in all ways, he enjoys the traditional arts. Enjoying ritual and meditation, he is a very calm and restrained person. Rare to anger or show any emotion, he tries to follow a path of inner peace. His unphased and even regal bearing compared with his calculating and perfectionist ways make him oddly intimidating.
Given his deeply rooted sense of honor, he will always uphold his word and settle his debts. He is loyal to his own and truly struggles to defeat the demons of his past.
BACKGROUND
Kenuichio Harada is the bastard son of the criminal mastermind Shingen Yashida. A Japanese mutant specialized in the traditional samurai arts, he wore silver armor ressembling the equipment of an ancient Samurai warrior.
This led to him gaining the codename ‘SILVER SAMURAI’.
A criminal and a mercenary, Harada would quickly end up affiliated with Viper. His lethal skills, tall and muscular physique and great loyalty made of him an excellent bodyguard ad enforcer.
Facing many superheroes such as Spiderman, Daredevil and the X-Men over time, he frequently came to the aid of Viper, effectively becoming her only recurrent and genuinely appreciated lover.
Eventually Kenuichio Harada became the Oyabun (head) of Clan Yashida after his half-sister Mariko Yashido died.
He began to follow a path of redemption, attempting to restore his personal honor and that of his own.
He also attempted to cut ties with the Yakuza. Once among Wolverine’s greatest enemies, he ended up a respected ally. Wolverine even entrusted him with the care of his adopted daughter ‘Amiko Kobayashi’.
Wolverine and Harada teamed up against the monstrous ‘Doombringer’ and to rescue Amiko and Yukio from kidnappers.
During his time as a true hero, he became the team leader of the Japanese superhero team ‘BIG HERO 6’ defending Japan from a wide variety of threats in ways similar to the Avengers, the X-Men or Alpha Flight.
The mutant Blindspot messed up his mind with her nefarious powers, making him doubt himself and abandon his path of redemption. Regardless of his fall from grace, somehow Harada became chief security officer for the Prime Minister of Japan.
During a quest regarding his past, Wolverine once more ended up facing Silver Samurai. The Samurai proved to have the superior skills but the regeneration powers of Wolverine turned the tide.
He cut of Harada’s hand, mentally underlining his respect for the skills and resolve of his old foe and ally.
Somehow Silver Samurai regianed his hand and returned to the path of the warrior.
Silver Samurai was unjustly locked up in the Raft but Madame Hydra and the Hand broke him out. They hoped he would lead the Hand to victory and unite the Japanese Criminal Underworld. Afterwards he would have to face the puppet masters controlling Hydra and SHIELD. Harada however refused and allied with the Avengers to defeat the conspirators. Having once more proven his honor, he rededicated himself to serving Japan and its people.
Silver Samurai was one of the few mutants that kept his powers post M-Day. Maintaining a position of importance in Japan.
Silver Samurai and Wolverine had a complicated past, at a given moment he guarded a supernatural katana ‘Muramasa’ at the request of Wolverine, which could both kill Logan and his eternal enemy Sabretooth.
At a certain moment Silver Samurai would also help ‘retrain’ Wolverine through intense duelling.
After the Skrull invasion, Viper left Silver Samurai to rejoin Hydra. Silver Samurai would be forced to face a large Group of warriors of the Leviathan Group, seemingly having no chance… he clearly was victorious though… resurfacing relatively unscathed.
His seemingly last stand took place while defending his castle from a Group of Ninjas of the Red Right Hand. They had been trained specifically to defeat Silver Samurai. Mortally wounded, he still overcame their warriors and archers. Dragging himself to the Grave of his half-sister Mariko, he died.
Hero Name: Rush
Legal Name: Adelia Martinson
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Age: 18
Sexuality: Bisexual (she prefers men but isn't going to argue if someone is interested, unless she isn't interested, in which case they can go to hell)
Description (Appearance): The longer she goes without being on an adrenaline high the more plump she gets, however if she is on a long high she slims down rather quickly and if she isn't careful she can completely burn herself out. The most she has ever weighed is 270lbs and that actually wasn't a bad time for her, she wasn't starving at all hours of the day. The least she has ever weighed since she reached maturity was 80lbs and that was when she pushed herself a little too far, and she would prefer not to repeat that. She stands an easy 5'9" and when she isn't trimmed down from a rush she has an excellent set of curves, but her body type varies greatly depending on how long it's been since her last rush. Due to this variation in body type she has a large selection of sizes of clothing so she isn't swimming in her clothes when she is forced to slim down.
She normally keeps her dark curly shoulder length hair pulled back away from her face as it tends to annoy her when it gets in her face. She wears glasses but they're reading glasses as she has eye strain issues. If she isn't reading she doesn't require the glasses.
Her wardrobe consists mainly of t-shirts and jeans, she grew up a country girl and isn't all that high maintenance nor is she afraid to get dirty for work. She is capable of cleaning up and looking nice but the finer points of fashion illude her as she's never really cared for them. She loves hoodies because regardless of what body type she is at the time they're always comfortable.
Powers: Adelia's powers are based on how much adrenaline is coursing through her system. The more adrenaline there is, the stronger, faster, and more indestructible she gets. Other than that she has a high pain tolerance that even some of her fellow mutants flinch at.
Inhumanly strong pain tolerance: things that would normally have people laying on the floor in pain or even passed out she just keeps going, in fact one might even argue that she enjoys it. This same pain tolerance allows her to ignore being electrocuted or burned as she goes after an attacker or enemy because the more she hurts the more adrenaline dumps into her system and the faster her healing factor works.
Adrenaline junkie: Adelia is the truest form of adrenaline junkie, anything that gives her an adrenaline rush improves her ability to take damage, she'll even go so far as to jump off of the roof of a building in order to get the rush she needs to be combat effective.
Healing factor: The more adrenaline that is in her system the faster she heals, if severely injured at the very beginning of combat she heals slowly until the adrenaline catches up with her. Her healing speed is directly proportional to the amount of adrenaline in her system.
Reflexes/speed: when hyped on adrenaline she is capable of catching an arrow out of the air and after she's been deep into combat for at least thirty minutes she is able to dodge bullets if they are fired at her one at a time. This ability is directly proportional to the amount of adrenaline in her system.
Strength: When running on a lot of adrenaline she is capable of lifting 50 tons. It has been theorized that as she ages and gains more control of her powers that she will be able to increase this amount, and the strength training that she's been working on probably isn't hurting anything either. This strength also translates to the force with which she can hit and how high she can jump. This is directly proportional to the amount of adrenaline in her system.
Enhanced Metabolism: Adelia is always hungry, when she is on an adrenaline high it boosts her metabolism in order to keep up with what she's asking out of it and even when she is doing nothing her body still burns more calories than most other people. For this reason she can almost always be found with some kind of food in her hand and she snacks on different things throughout the day and can usually be found rummaging around in the kitchen for a midnight snack.
High Tolerance to Mind Altering Substances: Another side-effect of her high metabolism is her ability to drink and not get drunk because her body burns it faster than she can consume it. This includes any drugs that anyone might slip to her as well as different toxins and the such.
Adrenaline Related Durability: When on a rush she heals faster than she can be hurt unless she's being severely mauled, this means that she can step in front of a moving vehicle and take the impact and walk away relatively unscathed. She knows this because she stepped in front of a loaded semi before.
Weaknesses:
Slow Start: If she is caught off guard before a fight can start and she can get her first taste of an adrenaline dump she can be taken out of the fight if someone is able to knock her out. If they just break a bone however the following adrenaline rush will have her back in the fight in about five minutes as that's how long it will take her to heal. However she has found that if she is anticipating a fight she can give herself a shot of adrenaline via a syringe and bypass some of this.
Metabolism: Her metabolism can be a serious problem because unless she is constantly eating while on a high she tends to burn up her stores rather rapidly and if she isn't careful she can go past the point of using her stores and her body starts to cannabalize her muscle tissue for fuel. The lucky thing for her is that she has willfully learned to shut down the release of adrenaline into her system.
Insomnia: Adelia doesn't sleep much, never really has since her powers first surfaced because she's worried that a nightmare might set her off in her sleep and that she might hurt someone. Cat naps are how she gets by most of the time but she never really get a full sleep cycle in. The only time she actually sleeps is if she can lock herself away from others so if she does have a nightmare she doesn't hurt someone. Either that or she's managed to down enough sleeping meds to knock out an elephant.
Family: Adelia loves her family and if someone targets her parents or siblings, or even her cousins, aunts, or uncles, they could get to her, but if the one that decided to kidnap her family actually maimed them they would quickly learn the error of their ways as she proceeded to beat the life out of them because if they killed their hostage there would be nothing to stop her from taking it out of their hide. This group would also extend to anyone that she cares for. She is protective of those that she counts as important in her life and is more than willing to kill in order to keep them safe.
Limited Combat Stamina: While she doesn't tire normally or experience muscle fatigue until she comes down from an adrenaline rush she can pretty easily get overwhelmed by the amount of power that her body is demanding. This means that she is only combat effective for a limited period of time before she has to fall back and 'refuel' before she winds up with her body starting to cannabalize her body tissues. The thing is that she can do quite a bit of damage in a short amount of time if she doesn't have to worry about bystanders or any collateral damage.
Personality:
Adelia is snarky and somewhat abrasive, there is no other way to describe it. Almost anything that comes out of her mouth is sarcasm. She can be playfully sarcastic or scathingly so depending on how the mood strikes her. She speaks up a lot during classes, mainly because she likes to play devil's advocate and try to always see what their thoughts on the other side of the story is.
All in all Adelia is a very caring person, at least on the inside, she seldom lets others see what she's really like because in her experience it just gets her hurt because they use her soft side against her. She has a strongly rooted sense of justice and hates seeing people abusing their powers and she has an unfortunate hero complex because of this. She has a strong headed streak and tends to be a little stubborn. She is also a rather protective of those that are close to her, regardless of their gender.
Special Skills and Other:
Martial Arts: Considering that her older brother runs a martial arts school that is of mixed disciplines, mainly being oriented to practical usage, it's no surprise that Adelia knows a thing or two. Close combat doesn't scare her in the least regardless of how big and bad her opponent is. Her brother started teaching her after she got the shit beat out of her by some bullies when she was in school. She also has a fairly vast knowledge of practical usage of many melee weapons.
Highly Intelligent:
She has never had to try hard in order to excel at school, to her it's easy and rather boring. Just because she's intelligent doesn't mean that she's over ambitious, she's as lazy as she can get away with being.
Photographic memory: With her intelligence comes a memory like a steel trap. Not only can she remember what something looked like to the closest increment, but she can also memorize and recall information at the drop of a hat. She calls it her 'mental rolodex'.
Queen of Random Facts:
A good deal of her 'mental rolodex' consists of random information and facts. She will often spout them out at random times or when they're relevant to the conversation. She's also rather notorious for randomly quoting lyrics.
Table Manners: When she isn't starving for food Adelia has excellent table manners, if she is running empty at the end of a rush however, let's just say that you better not get your hand in the way.
Sailor Mouth: She cusses like a sailor and doesn't give a flying fuck what anyone thinks about it.
Call My Bluff: Since there is no real outward sign of when she is on a rush she has gotten good at bluffing as to whether she is actually on one or not, this can be useful towards the end of a fight as it means that she can be completely burnt but if she has wore her opponent down enough they might decide to retreat rather than to go after someone that may or may not still be amped.
Equipment:
Other than a metric shit ton of food she usually doesn't carry much on her person. The exception is usually a set of brass knuckles that her older brother gave to her. The brass knuckles she usually keeps on her person more for sentimental reasons that actual usefulness. The food is very much necessary, especially in a fight as she'll need it to keep going.
Studying/Teacher: Adelia has a love for all things science, but she has decided if anything that she wants to studying biology, maybe understand if there is any underlying reason for why mutants end up with the powers they do.
Character History: Adelia was born to Gerald and Bernadette (Nat) Martinson as their second of three children. Her childhood was unremarkable and she loved growing up on a Nebraska ranch. And she learned everything that had to do with ranch life with a passion. She grew up riding horses, working cattle, taking care of their small herds of chickens, and working their garden.
As a child Adelia was rather small for her age and that carried true until she hit junior high and it was at that time that she started to fill out, and she went past filled out and went straight to chunky and because of that she was a constant target of her school's bullies. It was after a particular incident that left her with a black eye that her older brother, James, decided to teach her martial arts in order to keep what happened from repeating itself. Adelia took to it like a fish to water and pretty soon she found herself standing up for the new targets of her former antagonists.
It was when she was fifteen that her powers first showed up, and it was most definitely a stress induced type situation. It was late, she and her parents and siblings were headed home from a night at the movies and as they were rounding a sharp corner they were clipped by a semi that wasn't in his lane. Being clipped by the semi sent them into the ditch and in the process their pickup rolled end over end four times. It was during the rolling that the sudden rush of adrenaline went and triggered something that had been latent up until that point. She watched as she was cut up by glass and other things and she healed as quickly as she was injured. As soon as the vehicle stopped moving she literally tore free from her seat belt and found herself landing on her head because the pickup was upside down. She pulled her little sister, Lidia, free first, she was unconscious but appeared to be mostly uninjured. She hauled her out of the vehicle and repeated the process with her brother, carrying him out of a broken window. For her parents she literally ripped the front doors of the pickup from the vehicle and she carried them away from the crash, one by one. This was no small feat for her as she weight maybe 180lbs and she carried her dad away and he weighed 260lbs.
When the ambulance showed up they weren't really sure what to make of how they had all been pulled free of the crash that should've required the jaws of life to extract them from, nor were they sure of what to think of the teenage girl that was completely uninjured and hungry as hell.
Once they were all home Adelia told her parents what had happened and both of her parents decided to accept what she had told them, she had no reason to lie to them. The decided that it would be best for everyone if she kept it a secret because they weren't sure how the rest of the small community that they lived in would take it as they weren't exactly a mutant friendly community. Other than an incident when a nightmare triggered her to panic upon waking and she nearly killed her brother things didn't go too roughly. The 'don't tell anyone' strategy worked alright until one day when she was coming out of the post office after picking up mail.
After school most of the parents stopped in to the grocery store which was literally right off of main street, which so happened to be a main highway. One mother wasn't paying attention and her toddler wandered away and towards the road. There was a semi that was coming down the road and the driver was in no place to see the kid when he stepped in front of the truck. Adelia felt the surge of adrenaline and dropped the mail, charging for the kid so she could, at the very least, knock him out of the way. She grabbed the kid and cradled him in her arms and turning her back to the oncoming truck. It was at that time that the mother realized that her kid was missing and she turned in time to see what happened next.
The whole front end of the semi caved in around Adelia's body and the truck came skidding to a sudden halt as Adelia planted her feet, her boots didn't take that very well and she wound up planting her bare feet against the asphalt, literally stopping the truck herself. As soon as the truck stopped she freed herself from the wreckage of the front of the truck and looked the kid over, and other than being shell shocked he was unharmed. The mother ran to her and took her crying son and when Adelia tried to reach out to comfort her the woman flinched and started to back away from Adelia. It was at that time that someone lobbed a rock at her and yelled 'monster' at her. Adelia scrambled to pick up the mail and returned to her car before speeding home.
Adelia refused to go to school after this happened. Her parents were concerned and even they were being accosted by members of their community who thought that Adelia was a monster even though she saved a kid. She withdrew completely from her family as she thought she was making their life difficult and all they really wanted was for her to join them. Adelia became depressed and was going through a bit of an existential crisis when two individuals representing the Xavier Institute showed up at their front door one day. Her whole family sat and listen to their spiel and Adelia's parents thought it would be good for her and after some discussion Adelia agreed. Being rejected from her community, reviled by peole that she has known for her whole life, made her question if being a mutant was really a good thing and she is still going through a bit of a funk courtesy of being treated like a monster.
She boxed up her things and mailed them to the institute, her parents hauled her and her motorcycle to the institute themselves where there were tearful goodbyes but they knew that they were leaving Adelia in good hands. Adelia is still getting to know her way around the grounds and sometimes the people are just too much and she has to get away, which is why she refused to leave home without her motorcycle.
Before the incident with the semi and the toddler Adelia had a boyfriend who she had been with for nearly two years and as soon as he found out he just flat out dumped her, no explanation other than 'I would never want to date one of them, had I known I never would have dated you!' Between the now ex-boyfriend and the community members she is questioning whether or not she really is an abomination, although she will never let anyone else know that.
Character Sheets:
Hero Name: Oracle
Legal Name:  Liliana Sinclaire
Origin of Powers:  Psychic, born with them
Age: 17, almost 18
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Description (Appearance):  Liliana stands at 5 feet and 4 inches with a weight of approximately 125 lbs. Long hair black as ebony hangs down the center of her back, her creamy unblemished skin like fresh milk and eyes as pale blue as a January morning sky. Her mother liked to affectionately call her Snow White.
Powers:
(Offensive) Psychic energy manifestation- The ability to harnass her own psychic energy and focus it into a ball of raw powerful energy that can really pack a punch if the intended target doesn't haul ass and get out of the way in time.
Doing this too many times in a short period of time is a big drain on Liliana's energy, so she had to be choicey about how many she throws and what at, or risk getting herself exhausted and vulnerable to whatever enemy she is facing.
(Defensive) Shield- The ability to form a barrier of psychic energy around herself to shield herself and possibly a few people from harm.
A few real good hits from another type of energy could possibly break Liliana's psychic shield though.
Teleport- This takes some concentration, but Liliana can teleport herself anywhere within a mile radius, she hasn't practiced going further, so any further than that could wind up dumping her anywhere... which could be bad, very bad.
This too is a big drain on energy, so again, Liliana must be choicey about when she does this and how often in a short period of time before she can recoop.
Precognition- The most frustrating and unpredictable ability Liliana has, she receives glimpses of the ever changing future. Liliana can not control when, where, how or what is seen, she is simply forced to come along with the ride.
(Visions would never occur unless discussed first with a GM or had zero game impact)
Personality:  Liliana has a sweet and bubbly personality, she grew up very lonely and deeply desires to have friends. She can be a little bit on the naive side and abhors country music.
She can have a bit of a temper though when pushed far enough and she doesn't do the whole 'nice girl' thing when she gets pissed... she could potentially be very dangerous to individuals that put people she becomes close to in peril.
Special Skills and Other:
Cooking- Cooking is highly relaxing to Liliana and given the stressfulness of her abilities... she's gotten very good at cooking...
Sewing- Anything that keeps Liliana's mind on other things that doesn't involve the future or anything psychic is good in her book, so likes to custom make a lot of dresses and other clothing.
Tai Chi- Liliana took up this practice as yet another method of achieving calm and focus to keep her abilities under as much control as she could manage.
Equipment: Just her mind.
Studying/Teacher:  Studying
Character History:
As far as she knows, Liliana was born in a perfectly 'normal' family with no history (again, as far as she knows) of mutations or strange abilities, but she however has always had it rough.
It was mostly the precognition that made her life so difficult, her father became afraid of her when on several occasions she'd tell him something bad was going to happen, he'd dismiss it... and then exactly what Liliana had said had come to pass... he viewed her as unnatural and 'demon touched'... he left Liliana and her mother when Liliana was only the tender age of ten years old.
Years passed and Liliana did her best to cope with the visions, even working in her private free time to develop her abilties and attempt to gain more control... tai chi helped quite a bit to keep her mind calm and focused, to focus only on her center and her powers.
However, life was not going to remain simple (if you could call her life simple), when Liliana receives a disturbing vision about something terrible called the Sentinel Program, she knows deep down that she would be placing her sweet mother in terrible danger if she tried to stay where she was... they would find Liliana and they would take her, she knew her mother would try to stop them and... there was just too high a risk of her mother getting hurt and she wasn't willing to put fate to the test. Liliana knew in her heart of hearts, she had to leave.
Thus, with a detailed explanation and a tearful goodbye to her mother with promises to write to her as often as possible, Liliana boarded a plane for New York to one place she could go without putting helpless loved ones in danger... Xavier's Institute for the Gifted.
Howdy everyone.  This is a work in progress.
Hero Name:  Dazzler
Legal Name:   Alison Blaire
Origin of Powers: Human Mutant
Age: 23
Sexuality: Hetrosexual
Description (Appearance):
Alison is 5’8”, 115 lbs, with blue eyes and strawberry blonde medium-length hair.  She has an athletic figure with above average breasts and an hourglass figure.  She typically wears an electric blue sleeveless bodysuit with a gold 8-pointed star on her chest, blue gloves, high heels, a red bandana, a narrow utility belt, and a leather jacket.
Powers:
Dazzler can absorb sonic vibrations and then convert and transmit them from her body as various types of light. This ability seems to operate over a great range of frequencies, including the audible spectrum, and a great variation of sound pressure levels regardless of the complexity, dissonance, or randomness of the sound. Sounds as different as a car crash and a symphonic passage both produce convertible incoming acoustic vibrations.
Dazzler prefers utilizing the sound of music, particularly that which is rhythmically sustained. Not only is music more pleasant to her ears, but the steady beat of contemporary music provides a more constant source of sound to convert. The precise means by which this conversion process works is as yet unknown. Dazzler has been shown to create a "null space" of sound in a certain radius of her person, as a result of "pulling" the sound in her area to her person, to either protect a crowd of people or to supercharge her power reserves.
Left undirected, Dazzler's light will radiate from her body in all directions, producing regular flashes of white light. By conscious control over the light she produces, she can control its direction, frequency (color), amplitude (intensity), and duration.
Dazzler can produce numerous effects. She can create simple patterns out of rays of light or combinations of patterns which produce trance-like effects in her targets. She can create a pulse of light on the order of several thousand watts of power, which temporarily blinds people with its brilliance. She can create a chaotic cascade of sparkling lights and colors that severely upsets other people's equilibrium, or a pulsating strobe-light effect. Dazzler can generate a coherent beam of light, approximating a laser beam. Dazzler can generate a shield from laser energy that can deflect projectiles or energy beams.
The most powerful manifestation of her laser abilities are a concentrated stream of solid photons she usually fires from her index finger but can emit from her entire body. The beam is extremely powerful and as a consequence uses a great deal of her energy reserves. She has also demonstrated the ability to stretch the electromagnetic spectrum to produce devastating microwave energy. She has since learned how to produce these blasts without draining herself, while still providing them with considerable power.
She generally directs lasers from a single finger when she requires precision. She most often uses her hands for directing her light effects, but she could also use other parts of her body. Since studying with the X-Men, she has become adept at directing her blinding strobe light blast from her eyes.
With effort, she can create holograms of human beings and other three-dimensional beings and objects. She can also use light energy to generate flight.
She can store sound energy in her body for future discharge. Thanks to Professor X, Dazzler's costume contains devices that enable her to store sonic energy more efficiently and to gauge and focus the light she generates with greater skill. She has also demonstrated on at least one occasion the ability to expel the stored sound into a devastating wave of sonic energy that destroyed her foe Silence.
Dazzler has polarizing eyes and cannot be blinded or dazzled by light. Her ability to convert sound also protects her from being deafened by loud sounds. Additionally, her ears are highly developed allowing her to detect sounds on frequencies that others cannot register. Dazzler is immune to the injurious effects of her light transducing abilities.
Personality:
Alison Blaire's whole life has revolved around ambition. She has a powerful desire to be a star and all the natural talent necessary to become one. In some ways her family plays a role in shaping this desire. Her mother and father were performers as well who failed to get a big break because of bad luck and circumstances. To her it appears her parents gave up or outgrew their ambition. This helps serve as extra motivation for her because she clearly wants to succeed where her parents could not. All her efforts are focused on attaining that success and she's willing to take whatever chances she has to in order to get it.
This ambitious aspect of her personality also makes her more willing to take risks. Nowhere is this more apparent then how she uses her powers. When they first manifested, it was by accident. For a time these powers were a hindrance to her success and threatened to undermine a very central goal in her life. But rather than lash out in anger, she turned this anomaly into a tool for success. It was these powers that allowed her to become Dazzler. It was these powers that gave her a window into stardom. In a sense she's more in tuned with her powers than most mutants because she sees it as part of her act. It's an act she often has to balance though because her powers can and often do garner more attention than her vocals. Like other musicians who use their sex appeal or family name to seek success, Alison uses her powers and that can come at a price. But for stardom and success, it's a price she's willing to pay.
Special Skills and Other:
Dazzler is a highly skilled athlete, and has become an excellent hand-to-hand combatant thanks to her training with the X-Men, and with the Gladiators. In addition, she is a talented singer, actress, and dancer. She is also a highly accomplished roller skater and can move at high speed.
Equipment:
Sound-Conducting costume
Leather Jacket
Bandana
Roller skates
Studying/Teacher:   Former Student
Character History:
Alison Blaire was born in Gardendale, New York to Carter Blaire and Katherine Blaire. Her mutant powers first manifested when she was in high school. An aspiring singer, she volunteered to perform at her school dance when her light-generating abilities first appeared. Everyone at the dance assumed it was a technologically generated special effect, an assumption commonly made before she reveals herself to be a mutant later in her life.
Using the stage name "Dazzler", Alison sets out to make a name for herself in the music industry, using her light powers and dancing ability to enhance her performances. It is at one of her shows that Alison first meets the X-Men while they are attacked by the forces of the Hellfire Club. Angry at the interruption of her show, Alison lashes out in anger at the Hellfire intruders, unintentionally making one member catatonic. Alison subsequently aids the X-Men in finding Kitty Pryde. She had always assumed that life as a disco queen would be exciting but finds the fight with the X-Men's enemies going a bit too far. Thus she turns down their offer to join the team.
Dazzler hides her status as a mutant from all but those closest to her. After acquainting herself with the various Marvel Comics superheroes, Alison finds herself continually using her abilities to fight both ordinary criminals and rogue superhumans — often at the expense of her career ambitions. On one occasion, she meets Spider-Man, teaming up against the Lightmaster. She later battles the Enchantress, is overwhelmed by Doctor Doom, the Absorbing Man and then fights off Nightmare. She briefly allies with the Blue Shield, and aids the X-Men and Spider-Woman against the misguided Caliban. On another occasion, she battles and defeats the Hulk, and establishes a long-standing feud with the then-mentally unstable Rogue. She also had a romantic affair with Warren Worthington III. In the course of her inadvertent adventures, she even encounters the planet-devouring Galactus initially thinking she is of little notice and generally ignores her. Nevertheless, Galactus temporarily endows her with cosmic energy so she can retrieve the herald Terrax. In addition to being offered membership into the X-Men, Alison is also asked to audition for a place in the Avengers. She declines while facing Fabian Stankowicz (who is ultimately easily defeated by the Wasp), saying that the superhero "trip wasn't for [her]".
Dazzler moved to Los Angeles in a vain attempt to help her half-sister Lois London that has the mutant ability to kill anyone with a touch, but has little to no control over the ability. While in Los Angeles, Alison attempts careers in fitness training, dancing, modeling, and acting. Influenced both by her lover Roman Nekoboh, and her desire to abate the growing anti-mutant sentiment, Alison publicly declares her mutant identity. The revelation backfires, destroying her reputation and career and inflaming anti-mutant sentiment, which sends Alison into a depressive state. Forced again into hiding, she spends some time as a keyboard player and back-up vocalist in rock singer and fellow mutant Lila Cheney's band. While on tour, the band's plane crashes, which leads to Dazzler, Lila, and a bandmate being successfully rescued by Cannonball and Joshua. Lila has been knocked out so Dazzler uses the music Joshua plays at the scene to blast a hole through the wreckage. Alison is later possessed by the psychic mutant Malice; after an encounter with the X-Men coming to warn her about the Marauders, Dazzler is freed from possession and becomes a member of the team.
During her tenure with the X-Men, Dazzler receives training, attains greater control over her powers, and develops a romance with the extra-dimensional Longshot. She is also forced to work alongside the now-reformed Rogue. This causes considerable tension between them at first, due to Alison's difficulty in getting over Rogue's attempts to kill her in the past, as well as Rogue's own strong feelings for Longshot. Over time, she eventually believes Rogue is genuinely remorseful and forgives her teammate. Dazzler struggles with her career ambitions and personal insecurities, and eventually she and her team-mates in the X-Men enter the mystical Siege Perilous. Discovered in an amnesiac state washed up on a beach by her former bodyguard Guido, she is nursed back to health by Guido and Lila, though their efforts prove unsuccessful in helping restore her memory. Her memory is eventually restored when she is found by Longshot.  Despondent over the loss of her career, she is considering going with Longshot to his home dimension when she hears that a new Dark Phoenix has killed Charles Xavier.  After all she has been through with the X-men, she feels she can’t abandon them now and bids farewell to Longshot.  She then sets off to return to Westchester.
TamaRose
Hero Name: Magma
Legal Name: Amara Juliana Olivians Aquilla a.k.a Allison Crestmere
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Age: 21
Sexuality: Female/Pansexual
Description (Appearance):
Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 131
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde
Powers:
Geokinesis: Amara can psionically control the movement of the tectonic plates within the Earth's crust within limited areas, probably no less than a radius of a few city blocks. Within this area she can create small or large earthquakes by psionically affecting the Earth's crust.
Pyrokinesis: She can create flames and project blasts of heat that do not contain any molten rock. However, she apparently prefers to fire magma blasts rather than simple heat blasts, perhaps because the magma blasts have a solid impact that can knock down a target. The highest level of heat that Magma can generate is not yet known, but it is believed that she can reach at least 850° Fahrenheit or higher.
Geo-thermokinesis: She can psionically cause magma, or molten rock, from far beneath Earth's surface to rise to and break through the surface, forming miniature volcanoes. can also telekinetically project fiery blasts of magma at targets. Apparently she does so by turning nearby rock molten and then telekinetically hurling it at her target.
Magma Form: When using her powers Magma's body shines with intense light and gives off tremendous heat. Her hair seems ablaze with fiery light. Neither her own heat nor heat from any other known source can burn or otherwise harm Magma. Although Magma has triggered small earth tremors without taking on her glowing form, she has never been seen to use her power to fire lava blasts while in her ordinary human appearance. Magma is not blinded by the light she gives off in her shining form and is immune to the dangerous effects of flame and heat while in it. This ability can also be called geo-thermokinesis.
Magma's power to create small or large earthquakes and volcanic eruptions is linked to her emotions. She could unintentionally create major earthquakes and large-scale volcanic activity by losing control of her temper and becoming unusually angry.
Personality: Hot tempered when angered or irritated. Loving, caring, and kind towards people she sees as family and friends. Sensual. Soft. Stubborn. Smart.
Special Skills and Other: Magma is a skilled swords woman due to her training in Nova Roma. Extensive knowledge of ancient Roman culture. Also is Granted the ability to heal simultaneously when touched by some heat substance.
Equipment:Magma's costume and clothing are made from unstable molecules so that they will not be harmed by the tremendous heat she generates.
Studying/Teacher: Teacher
Character History: Amara Juliana Olivians Aquilla hailed from the country of Nova Roma (New Rome), a colony of the Roman Republic reportedly founded shortly after the death of Julius Caesar in 44 BC. The colony was hidden in modern Brazil and was ruled until recently by the immortal mutant sorceress Selene. Amara was the daughter of Lucius Antonius Aquilla, a prominent senator.
A faction of the city’s Inca population attempted to transform the republic into an imperial state and a dark cult following the Black Priestess was regularly sacrificing young girls in a pit of fire in some caves beneath Nova Roma. Senator Aquilla was the leader of the opposition to this faction. Fearing for his daughters safety, Senator Aquilla sent his daughter Amara to live in the jungles outside Nova Roma, disguised as an Indian. Later, the senator discovered that the Black Priestess was actually the immortal mutant Selene, wife of Senator Marcus Domitius Gallio, the leader of the Imperial faction.
New Mutants
Amara remained in hiding for years until she was captured by the New Mutants, who were on an expedition in the Amazon jungle. They learned of her disguise, but then both Amara and the New Mutants were captured by soldiers of Nova Roma and imprisoned. Now held prisoner by Selene, Amara was to be sacrificed. Selene used her mutant powers to drain Amara's life energy into her own body. The New Mutant, Mirage, attacked Selene. This distraction caused Selene to release Amara from her control, but Selene knocked Amara into a pit of lava. Somehow, rather than harming Amara, her immersion in the lava awakened her latent mutant powers. Together, Amara, with her new-found powers, and the New Mutants defeated Selene and helped thwart Senator Gallio's attempt to kill Senator Aquilla and seize power. Amara was instructed to go to the United States with the New Mutants and there learn about modern civilization.
Amara did so, reluctantly, and became a member of the New Mutants, under the code-name Magma. In the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, the New Mutants were tutored, by Professor X, and trained in the use of their powers, in the Danger Room. At first, Magma experienced culture shock, however she soon got a handle of modern civilization, including such things as computers and electricity. Amara also made quick progress in the use of her powers, being able to melt tunnels into the ground with the walls cooling down in mere seconds.
As a form of payback, Empath turned Amara and Sunspot over to the Gladiators where they are forced to battle for entertainment by a former New Mutant, Karma.
Later, Amora the Enchantress kidnapped the New Mutants to Asgard. While attempting to escape, Magik used her teleportation discs and the Enchantress' magics affected the destination and the New Mutants were separated through time and space. Amara ended-up in Svartalfheim and was seduced and transformed into a fairy by the Dark Elves. After the New Mutants defeated Amora, the X-Men arrived to assist them in rescuing Storm and Amara was restored to her natural state. After their adventure in Asgard, the New Mutants found themselves under the guidance of a new teacher, Magneto.
Ons: Soft bondage, passionate kisses, doggy style sex, spanking, being talked dirty to, flirting, growling/grunting, and nibbling/biting.
Offs:Scat, spit, vomit, gag balls and rings, medical devices, and cum in the face.
Writing Sample: Even though Amara had spent little time on Asgard, it didn't mean that she hadn't gotten to meet Odin's famous sons, Thor and Loki ...and even though Thor was nothing more then a gentleman to her, her fascination was more with the dark haired lie-smith himself...Loki. Although, she never told the mischief of lies about her curiosity of him, she couldn't help but steal glances every now and again when she thought he wasn't watching.
To her he seemed untouchable. Wiser then anyone she had come across on Earth and more dangerous then maybe even the strongest mutant she had ever met. He was dark and evil but he was also the most beautiful creature she had ever met. Everything about him intrigued her...but she was also very jealous of the women...or whores that he seemed to take to bed with him on a regular basis. True, she could see why he did it, since he had women throwing themselves at him because he was a God full of beauty and mystery but in her mind he needed only one woman that could satisfy his needs...and that was her.
Yes, there was the issue of him being a Frost Giant and her being "made" of hot lava but she was sure there was a way around their little problem and the next time she visited Asgard, she and a certain God would have a meeting neither one would ever forget.
Sasquatch421
HERO NAME: Sunpyre
LEGAL NAME: Leyu Yoshida
ORIGIN OF POWERS: Mutant
AGE: 19
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Lesbian
HEIGHT: 5' 7"
WEIGHT: 125 lbs.
DESCRIPTION:
APPEARANCE:
POWERS:
    Solar Flare: Leyu's mutant powers enable her to absorb solar and other radiation to generate the process of ionized matter (usually air) through a mentally-triggered unknown biochemical process so that it is converted to plasma, the superheated state of matter. Plasma is the state in which matter making up the sun exists; hence, Sunpyre refers to her projecting "solar fire". Hence she can sheath her body in flame.
   Flight: She can use her powers to create super-heated air currents which push her forward through the air, enabling her to fly. Sometimes this super-heated air is visible as a trail of flame behind Sunpyre. The upper limit to the speed Sunpyre can achieve in flight is not yet known, although it is known to be greater than that of the Angel, who can reach 150 miles per hour.
   Plasma Blasts: She also has the ability to project the flames she generates as powerful blasts of energy.
   Plasma Emanation: Sunpyre can generate plasma temperatures which match those that can be generated by the Human Torch, reaching about 1,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit at maximum level. She can also use her power in a massive blast similar to Johnny Storm's "Nova Burst". However, Leyu has much more control over the area of effect, enough to where one person may feel like they have been sunbathing all day to total incineration of another target.
   Heat Signature Sense: Ability to sense beings by the heat signature that they give off.
   Plasma Shield: Ability to manipulate the plasma around her to form an aura that can melt incoming bullets are stave off other attacks.
   Solar Shielding Psi-field: She is protected from the radiation she emits by a short-range psionic force field which automatically comes into being whenever air friction, and also prevents excessive amounts of light from the plasma from reaching her eyes so as to blind or damage them. Sunpyre's body emits a protective field whenever she uses her powers. However, it is speculated that she can generate power in excess of her natural protection.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND OTHER:
•   Languages: As with most well-educated children of Japan, Leyu is multi-lingual. Japanese is her native tongue, but she is also quite fluent in both spoken and written English.
•   Combat: Leyu is a moderately skilled combatant. She has taken several years of karate, as expected by her family. And she has learned how to use her powers to fight. Of course, she has nowhere near the experience of her brother, but that's part of the problem, isn't it?
•   Art: Leyu is moderately skilled in several traditional Japanese art forms, including painting, pottery, bonsai, flower arrangement, and calligraphy. These were expected of her, and she learned how. She is not exceptional at any of them.
•   Music: The one thing she ever did for herself is learn the violin and Leyu has a great singing voice.
WEAKNESSES:
  Without using her powers Leyu is simply mortal… She has no defenses against telepaths either.
EQUIPMENT: None
STUDYING/TEACHER: Studying
HISTORY:
   Leyu is Shiro Yoshida's younger sister and cousin to Kenuichio Harada . It seems that their father Saburo remarried after the death of Shiro's mother. At some unknown time it was revealed that Leyu possessed similar mutant powers. She took the identity of Sunpyre in her own mind at least as her family looked upon her brother more favorably. The need to prove herself drove her to swipe Sunfire’s costume a couple of times to try and prove herself, but that didn’t go as planned.
The first time was, when she joined the X-Men for a single mission, to help fight Magneto. Jean Grey had summoned her brother, but instead got Sunpyre, as Shiro was unavailable at the time. Despite Jean not knowing Sunpyre at all, she easily accepts her offered assistance as the situation was so extreme. Jean's makeshift team of X-Men consists of long-term allies Northstar and Dazzler.
There were also civilians Omerta and Wraith. Dazzler had problems of her own and with a Jean-assisted telepathic conference, Sunpyre learns of the child-like Age of Apocalypse villains. Thus, Sunprye is one of the few in current continuity to have any idea the Age of Apocalypse actually had happened. Sunpyre fights valiantly against Magneto, but almost loses her life when the master of magnetism constructs a metallic cocoon around her. After the mission was completed successfully, Sunpyre chose to return to her home instead of stay in the United States with the X-Men.
The second time was when the Japanese Government reached out trying to get her brother to rejoin their team the Big Hero 6. Leyu once again swiped her brothers uniform and joined in his place. When her father found out he voiced his displeasure and claimed that no matter how hard she tried, Leyu could never measure up to her brother.
It was also around this time when she came to the conclusion that she was a lesbian. Leyu had suspected this as men just never did anything for her, but a failed date finally confirmed it. Knowing how her family would react, Leyu repressed it and went about her days trying to be the daughter they wanted. She happened to find out though that one of her classmates was gay as well, so they started a relationship. This eased Leyu’s mind somewhat as she had someone, that she could be herself with.
As everything does this came to an end in a fight between her and her parents. Leyu came out and told them that she was lesbian. Her family rejected her and all but formerly disowned her and her lover rejected Leyu as well as the girl had no plans on ever coming out. With nowhere to go now Leyu heads for the United States, where she plans to finally find a way to become her own hero. Leyu is finally going to join the school to learn from Doctor Hank McCoy...
PERSONALITY:
•   Inferiority Complex: Leyu has spent her entire life with it drilled into her that she just can't measure up. Second born, and a daughter at that, she could never compare to her brother, the great hero of the family and of the Japanese people. Nothing she did was ever good enough to earn the sort of praise that seemed to be her brother's birthright for the asking. She has a major chip on her shoulder about this. In the past, this has caused her to emulate her brother in her heroic persona, believing she needs to be harder and haughtier, to demand the respect she never seems to get from the people most important to her. Naturally, that hasn't worked out very well; even people outside the family largely view Sunpyre as an arrogant and redundant follow-on to Sunfire.
•   Eager to Please: Desperate for acceptance and positive feedback in her life, Leyu has always been eager to please those in authority over her, doing whatever they demanded, no matter how unreasonable. Even when Leyu is rebelling against their authority, part of her is desperately looking for their acceptance and praise. If someone in authority were to actually give her that kind of positive feedback, it could very well change her life.
•   Struggling Conformist: The only way to avoid her parents' glowering displeasure for most of her life has been to conform to the ideals they demanded of her, as a very traditional Japanese family. She was to be a polite, well-behaved, proper and traditional Japanese girl, obedient to her family, accomplished academically without ever challenging the family's patriarchs. She has always sought to obey this ideal, even hiding her sexuality over time for fear of their rejection and displeasure. And honestly having faced that displeasure and rejection, Leyu is struggling just to stay mentally afloat. She will likely revert back to conformist, obedient behaviors in hopes of making a new place for herself, even as part of her longs - begs - to rebel and forge her own path, everyone else's rules be damned.
•   Hidden Temper: Leyu has quite the temper, though she has spent most of her life keeping it under very rigid check, almost never letting it out. Her few forays in her costumed persona as Sunpyre were really her only outlets for her temper, and they were far between. With the rejections she has faced, Leyu's temper is that much stronger, and she is struggling that much harder to keep it bottled up. That temper pushed her to finally confess to her family, and look how that turned out!
•   Seeking Answers: Leyu has a very curious mind, always looking for answers. She wants to understand why it is that her father could never love her the way he did Shiro. She wants to understand why it is she too was born with the powers Shiro has mastered and embodied to the Japanese people. She wants to understand why it is she was born lesbian, because she is sure she would never have chosen this for herself. All of this fuels her scientific efforts, and her life.
•   Seeking Acceptance / Validation: What Leyu wants most in this world is to be accepted for who she is, to have her sense of self and her choices validated by others. If she could find that, it would literally change her life.
#42
Hero Name: Manifold
Legal Name: Eden Fesi
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Age: 25
Sexuality: Straight
Description (Appearance):
Powers:
  • Can bend and twist space-time allowing him to open portals and instantly transport himself and others from one location to another
Special Skills and Other:
  • Survival Skills (Hunting / Tracking)
  • Hand to hand combat
  • Weapons
Personality:
Eden is outgoing and friendly. He is fairly uninhibited and often says whatever is on his mind. He enjoys interacting with others but he has a tendency to miss social queues and misread body language. Having been raised in relative isolation in an indigenous tribe in Australia he doesn't have much experience interacting with others, and therefore tends to unintentionally break the unwritten rules. He's known to stare at people he finds interesting, ask deeply personal questions to people he's only just met, and he's a compulsive violator of privacy and personal space.
Eden is very competitive and rarely turns down a challenge. He's always eager to prove that he's the most powerful mutant around.
Equipment:
  • Long Spear
Studying/Teacher: Teacher in power control. Mostly does one on one guided meditation sessions with students having trouble controlling their abilities.
Character History:
Eden was born in a tribe of aboriginals in Australia. As a young child he quickly started to exhibit increasingly troublesome mutant abilities. Things and people around him tended to randomly go missing, often never to be seen again. Some times he and those around him would find themselves stuck in strange time-loops, re-living the same day or same few minutes over and over again. When the tribe leader determined that he was the cause of these oddities he was labeled 'demon possessed' and sentenced to death. Fortunately a man called Gateway, an elder of a neighboring tribe, saved him from execution and took him under his wing.
Uncle Gateway, as Eden called him, taught Eden that the 'demon' he was cursed with was actually a gift and he had amazing potential. Gateway trained him to control his abilities. As a young child Eden spent many days at a time sitting still, mediating under Gateway's guidance, trying to become one with himself, and one with the reality around him so he could bend and change it at his whim. Meditation truly helped him to control and increase his powers and by the time he'd reached his early teens he was able to open portals to any place he wanted, whether it be to a place a few feet away or to a far away world in the furthest reaches of space. As part of his early training he also spent days alone in some of the most dangerous bits of jungle and dessert his continent had to offer, armed only with his trusty spear and whatever other tools he could fashion on the fly.
His training with his 'uncle' was completed when Nick Fury came to his tribe and recruited him for the Avengers. Gateway had worked with the Avengers before so his protege was a welcomed addition to the team. Eden went on a few missions with the Avengers and operated in a few other small teams of heroes, addressing various threats to human existence. He proved himself to be a valuable member of any team and on par with some of the Earth's mightiest heroes.
When there was a lull in threats to the human race, Eden considered going back home and continuing his training with Gateway, and going back to wearing loin cloths all the time, but in the end he decided he enjoyed life (and clothing) in America more and would stick around. He wound up applying for a teaching position at Xavier's institute for Gifted Children and was accepted.
I will get a post up tomorrow. My computer is being a jerk tonight! Sorry!
burntheart
Due to a brown out I won't be getting a post up tonight, I apologize for any inconvenience
Captain Whitebread
Oh, Shrike is in trouble.  I just realized Psylocke hits 6 out of 8 of his ONs and he's a teenager.
"I'm sorry, what was that Psylocke?  I was too busy staring at your tits to hear what you said.'
Yup, he's in trouble.
Yup, he's in trouble.
He's so toast lol.
Captain Whitebread
I tried to come up with things that a typical 17 year old would be turned on by.  I didn't realize until afterwards that I was including a description of the average female superhero... lol
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
Yup, he isn't going to stand a chance, they're going to chew him up and spit him back out, possibly literally, who knows?
Captain Whitebread
Only one way to find out.
I just hope when they're done with him, they don't fight over the wishbone.
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
Depends on who all he gets involved with and how bad they get pissed off, they might use his feathers as tooth picks.
Captain Whitebread
That would be a little dangerous.  They tend to be a little sharp.  He was considering calling himself Stymphalian but didn't like idea that people might accuse him of shitting all over the place....
burntheart
Touche, but still, some of the ladies might be a hazard to his health if he isn't careful
Captain Whitebread
Hitting on Sunpyre would certainly be hazardous to his health.
burntheart
It would be a case of: "Did you order the original recepie or the extra crispy?"
Captain Whitebread
burntheart
Watch out for the pin feathers on this one, they're killer. And hmm, a little bit of buffalo sauce on the side?
Captain Whitebread
But... I'm not from Buffalo.
I'm beginning to think misunderstanding what people say to him might be a thing with Shrike.
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
It would be hilarious. I almost garuntee that Adelia is gonna flip when she finds out he has wings, especially since she's a biology type nerd at times.
Captain Whitebread
And they're both adrenaline junkies.  We've had this conversation before....
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
I knew we had the junkie conversation, didn't remember the wings though.
Captain Whitebread
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
No, the fact that she was going to be geeking out over the fact that she has a legitimate set of feathered wings attached to his back.
Captain Whitebread
If she asks nicely, he'd let her have a feather, which actually looks like a high tech carbon fiber replica of a feather, despite the fact that it's completely organic.
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
Don't worry she'll be polite after she gets over the initial shock of 'Oh my god you have wings, can I see them!?' Other than being sarcastic and somewhat blunt she's a fairly polite individual.
Captain Whitebread
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
Adelia is fluent in sarcasm, bull shit, and pig latin. Depending on her mood you might wind up hearing all three from her.
Captain Whitebread
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
Get her pissed off enough and she comes out with the profanities. She can get pretty creative when she puts her mind to it, otherwise she turns into someone that uses 'fuck' as an adjective, noun, verb, and any other part of speech you can think of. Or she just glares and gets the eye twitch going on.
Captain Whitebread
So she certain illustrates the diversity of the word.
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
Very much so, just never within earshot of her mother unless she wants to get bitch slapped for using the word.
Captain Whitebread
<sigh>
More people need to watch the original Boondock Saints.
Rocco: Fuckin'- What the fuckin'. Fuck. Who the fuck fucked this fucking... How did you two fucking fucks... [shouts] Fuck!
Connor: Well, that certainly illustrates the diversity of the word.
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
I haven't seen it at all, that would be why I missed that. I'm going to put that on my list of things to watch, if I ever get time to make my way through the rest of the list.
Sasquatch421
HERO NAME: Nightcrawler
LEGAL NAME: Kurt Wagner
ORIGIN OF POWERS: Mutant
AGE: 26
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
HEIGHT: 5’9”
WEIGHT: 161 lbs.
DESCRIPTION: Nightcrawler has only three digits (including an opposable thumb) on each hand. He also has only 2 toes on each foot, each longer than an ordinary human's. He has a prehensile tail, approximately 3'6" long, which could support his own weight. Nightcrawler has pointed ears and pronounced fang-like canine teeth along with iridescent yellow eyes that have no visable pupils. His spine is more flexible than an ordinary human being's, allowing him to spend much of his time in a semi-crouching position without damaging his posture and enabling him to perform contortionist-like feats. His body is almost entirely covered with a fine blue-colored fur
APPEARANCE:
POWERS:
   Teleportation: Ability to teleport himself, the clothes he is wearing, and within limits a certain amount of additional mass which is in contact with him. He teleports by displacing himself into the Brimstone Dimension, traveling through it, and then returning to his own dimension at a certain distance from his point of departure. He consciously determines his point of return. The entire process occurs so quickly that Nightcrawler is unaware of being in the Brimstone Dimension at all. Nightcrawler guides himself through the Brimstone Dimension by a subconscious, natural direction-finding sense. Although Nightcrawler controls his teleportation ability with his conscious mind, his power to teleport is not psionic. Rather it is the result of an unknown biochemical/biophysical reaction which he triggers mentally.
   When he disappears in teleporting, Nightcrawler leaves behind smoke with a stench reminiscent of burning brimstone. This is a small portion of the atmosphere of the Brimstone Dimension that escapes while the aperture is open. His teleportation is invariably accompanied by the muffled sound of imploding air rushing to fill the vacuum left where Nightcrawler's body was, creating his signature *BAMF* sound.
   Nightcrawler's powers automatically displace liquids and gases when he arrives in the course of a teleportation. His powers will not displace solids, however, putting him at risk for materializing inside solid matter, causing serious injury or death. As a consequence, Nightcrawler typically teleports only to places he has been to before or knows the layout of, or line-of-sight teleportation (even though his actual range is much further). Kurt's intuitive spatial awareness allows him to track his movements instinctively and with greater precision than the average person, helping him to pinpoint locations for a "blind" teleport.
   The longer the distance over which Nightcrawler teleports himself, the harder and more exhausting it is for him to make the teleportation "jump". It is easier for him to teleport between north and south (along Earth's magnetic field lines) than it is for him to teleport between east and west (against the magnetic lines). Under optimal conditions, teleporting only himself and his costume, Nightcrawler can displace himself a distance of about 2 miles east-to-west, and up to 3 miles north-to-south. Making a vertical teleportation upwards is difficult and dangerous, fighting against both the electromagnetic and gravitational fields. Nightcrawler has made a vertical teleportation "jump" of one mile by pushing himself to his physical limits. Before his death Kurt was able to port Hope and himself from Las Vegas to San Fransisco which is 585 miles and he was weakened and near death at the time.
   Nightcrawler's momentum is retained throughout the process of teleportation: he arrives with whatever amount of inertia he left with. For example, if he were falling from a great height, he could not teleport himself towards the ground in order to save himself; he would land with the same velocity that he teleported with. He can subtract this inertia by teleporting short distances upwards (as though taking two steps back for every one forward).
   The limits to the mass that Nightcrawler can carry with him while teleporting, and the limits to the distance over which he can teleport himself with additional load is unknown. When he transports a passenger over even moderate distances, they both feel weakened and ill, to the point of exhaustion. Teleportation over further distances could be fatal. Through practice, Nightcrawler has increased the mass he can teleport with him. (He once teleported himself and Storm from the center of a small island into the water just off its coast without harming either of them). The upper limits of this capacity are as yet unknown.
   Nightcrawler can use his powers offensively by grappling with an enemy and teleporting him or her in a series of rapid jumps. The strain of these "multiple ports" can exhaust foes without superhuman endurance while Nightcrawler remains strong enough to continue fighting. As part of his power, Nightcrawler has also exhibited a limited ability to sense the teleportation of other beings.
    Subconscious Spatial Awareness: Nightcrawler has a very limited subconscious extrasensory ability that prevents him from teleporting himself so that his feet, for example, would materialize below the surface of the local ground. Because this ability is so limited, however, Nightcrawler will not teleport into any place that he cannot see or has not seen in the past. If Nightcrawler teleported himself into an unfamiliar area, he would run the risk of materializing partially or entirely within a solid object. If too much of his body materialized within a solid object, he would probably be killed.
   Micro-Suction Discs: Nightcrawler can stick to objects with the surface of his hands and feet. This enables him to scale surfaces.
   Flexible Bone Structure: Nightcrawler's bone structure allows him great flexibility. He can remain in a crouched position for a long time and perform contortionist type feats without causing any damage to his spine.
   Camouflage: He has limited abilities to blend into shadows, both as a result of his indigo fur and his connection to the light-bending attributes of the dimension through which he teleports. This is also the explanation for why he constantly appears in shadow, even in direct light.
   Prehensile Tail: allowing him to grab onto objects with relative ease. His tail is strong enough to not only support his body weight but also lift an adult man completely off the ground. It is deft enough to fight with like a sword or blunt object.
   Night Vision: Nightcrawler's always glowing eyes grant him a marked degree of heightened night vision as well.
   Superhuman Agility: Nightcrawler's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels beyond the human body's natural limits.
   Superhuman Reflexes: Nightcrawler's natural reaction time is enhanced to a level beyond the human body's natural limits.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND OTHER:
   Master Acrobat: Nightcrawler is an Olympic-class acrobat thanks to his flexible spine that allows him to perform contortionist-like feats and to go long periods in a semi-crouching position without injury.
   Master Combatant: He is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant and a master at fencing, which he can even perform with his tail, which is strong enough to support his entire body weight.
   Aviator: He has served as the team's pilot and, with Wolverine, has also been the mechanic of the X-Men's Blackbird jet for a long time.
   Medic: He has been the team medic when no more qualified X-Men were around to do so.
   Multilingual: Nightcrawler is fluent in various languages due to his youth traveling around Europe as the star performer in a circus and knowing the language of wherever they were that week was very handy. He speaks his native German along with English, French, Spanish, and Italian. Professor X has downloaded both Russian and Japanese into his students minds.
WEAKNESSES: Despite Nightcrawler's superhuman powers, he is just as susceptible to disease and physical injury as any ordinary human. Also, because he is a Neyaphem, Angel's blood, which heals everyone else, hurts him, normally adding to whatever injury he received.
EQUIPMENT: Various Image Inducers; at one time he always wore his image inducer in public because he was afraid of how people would treat him because of his mutation. However, after he lost a bet with Wolverine, he went out in public without his image inducer. He expected everyone's reaction to be fear and hate, but it turned out to be a reaction of curious interest. He still has his image inducer, but hardly ever uses it unless he needs to.
   X-9000 Image-Inducer: A product from the Shi'ar Galaxy.
STUDYING/TEACHER: Drama teacher
HISTORY:
Early Years
   In the form of a German noblewoman, the shape-shifting mutant Mystique married Baron Christian Wagner. Meanwhile, Mystique had an affair with the mysterious Azazel from La Isla des Demonas and became pregnant with their child. Azazel told Mystique to raise their child as if it were the Count's. A heartbroken Raven agreed and, while Christian did become suspicious as to the baby's paternity, his sudden "accidental" death ensured no one else heard his suspicions. The baby was born visibly mutated with blue fur all over, pointed ears, iridescent eyes, and a prehensile tail. Due to the shock and the strain of the boy’s difficult delivery, Mystique lost concentration and accidentally revealed her true form. Word spread of her and the baby's condition and mother and son were chased by a torch-wielding angry mob. Mystique passed out and left young Kurt Wagner floating down a river during her escape.
Circus Life
   Miraculously, the baby survived and was saved by Margali Szardos, a sorceress and gypsy queen, who became a fortuneteller at a local carnival as a "cover" for her activities as a sorceress. Margali took the baby back with her to the circus. Wagner was never legally adopted by anyone but was raised within the circus, mostly with people who had no prejudices against "freaks" save for the ringmaster, Herr Max Getmann. Margali acted as Wagner's unofficial foster mother. Wagner grew up in Max Getmann's Circus and his two closest friends were his "adopted" brother and sister, Margali's natural children Stephan and Jimaine Szardos. Later, Kurt and Stephan forged a true friendship as they grew older, and Stephan knew that his magical heritage might lure him to evil one day. So, Stephan had Kurt promise him a blood-oath, that if he ever killed without reason, Kurt would kill him as well. Long before his teleportation power emerged, Wagner had tremendous natural agility and by his adolescence he had become the circus's star acrobat and aerial artist. Circus audiences assumed that he was a normal-looking human being wearing a demon-like costume.
   As he got older, Kurt's abilities drew less and less of a crowd until one day, Herr Getmann could no longer afford to keep him sedated between acts and decided to sell him. Fearing the worst, Margali worked with Armen Freilich to free Kurt. As he fled, he accidentally knocked over a torch, igniting the circus. Getmann and his men chased Kurt through the forest and were about to shoot him in the face when he teleported for the first time. Astonished and pleased with his escape, Kurt wearily made his way to the nearby Father Wagner's church. Two days later, he was discovered and welcomed and Kurt happily found a home trading shelter for labor. One evening, Armen burst in the door, apparently being chased by Getmann and his goons for escaping. Father Wagner tried to stop them from taking the boys, but the men proved too strong and set the church on fire during the brawl. Kurt ported Armen to a nearby farm before going back and beating on Getmann. Just as he was about to kill Getmann, Father Wagner reminded Kurt of his humanity. With the tides turned, Getmann and his men took aim to kill both Kurt and the Father but were frozen. Professor Charles Xavier had arrived and taken control of the angry mob's minds, programming them all to remember Kurt dying in the fire.
   Years later, the Texas millionaire Arnos Jardine, who ran a large circus based in Florida, heard of the circus Wagner worked for and bought it. Jardine intended to move its best acts into his American circus. However, he demanded that Wagner be placed in the circus' freak show. Appalled, Wagner quit and made his way towards Winzeldorf, Germany, where Stephan was. Kurt discovered that Stephan had gone mad and had brutally slain several children. Two nights after leaving the circus, Wagner found Stephan and fought him, hoping to stop his rampage. In the course of the struggle, Wagner unintentionally broke Stephan's neck. Then the villagers of Winzeldorf, who assumed him to be a demon that was responsible for the child killings, discovered Wagner. They were about to kill him, when they were all psionically paralyzed by Professor Xavier, who had come to recruit Wagner into the X-Men. Wagner agreed to join the group, but before they left for America, he and Prof. Xavier went to the Bavarian circus so that Wagner could explain to Margali about Stefan's death. However, Margali was not there and she held Wagner responsible for murdering Stefan.
X-Men
   Wagner helped Prof. Xavier and Cyclops rescue the original X-Men from Krakoa. After most of the original team left for a time, Wagner, along with fellow new recruits Storm, Colossus, Wolverine, Banshee, and Thunderbird, stayed at the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters as members of the new X-Men. The second group of X-Men were mostly adults and required no tutoring from Professor X, but trained in the use of their powers, in the Danger Room.
   Kurt met Amanda Sefton and the two began to date. Investigating the murder of an old friend, Eric Hoffman, Kurt briefly battled Spider-Man, and The Punisher
until the real killer, Jigsaw, was revealed and the trio defeated him.
   While meeting Amanda at an airport, Kurt recognized the plane of Arcade and overheard that he had been contracted, by Arnos, to kill Spider-Man and refused. After arriving at Arnos' circus, Kurt impersonated Spider-Man, to draw-out the new assassin, and the duo battled Cutthroat.
   On Kurt’s twenty-first birthday, Jimaine transported Kurt’s soul to a simulacrum of Dante's hell. There, he faced Margali Szardos, who held Kurt responsible for the death of Stephan. When Nightcrawler convinced Margali that Stephan had gone insane, she forgave Kurt and departed. Jimaine revealed that she had been at Nightcrawler's side, magically disguised for months as Amanda Sefton, Kurt's girlfriend.
   Kurt then accompanied Wolverine to Ottawa, Canada, where he learned Wolverine's real name "Logan", to make things right with Alpha Flight and Department H and together with Alpha Flight they battled Wendigo. Then, The X-Men stopped the attempted assassination of Senator Robert Kelly by the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants lead by Mystique. When Nightcrawler encountered Mystique for the first time in his adult life, he was shocked to discover how similar in appearance they were and that she knew his real name. Mystique only told him to ask his foster mother, Margali Szardos, about it, leaving Nightcrawler confused.
   Kurt began a close relationship with Wolverine and Colossus, even taking a dare from Wolverine to walk down the main street of Salem Center undisguised, in his natural shape. When Miss Locke kidnapped Amanda, Kurt traveled to Latveria where the X-Men defeated a Doombot in the image of Dr. Doom to rescue Arcade.
   After rescuing Rachel Summers from Selene, Kurt battled the Dire Wraiths with Forge and asked Amanda to aide them also.
   Kurt took over leadership of the X-Men after Storm had seemingly lost her powers forever. After recounting an adventure to his teammate, Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat), Kitty, excited by the story, attempted to create a simulacrum of the Well at the Center of Time inside the X-Men's Danger Room (based on Kurt's description). Instead of crafting a simulated hologram of the Well however, Kitty inadvertently opened a doorway into the Well itself. Kitty's pet dragon, Lockheed, flew towards it to investigate, when an alien, green tentacle reached out from beyond and dragged him inside of the vortex. Nightcrawler dove in after to save Lockheed and found himself instantly transported to a bizarre, alien world. Nightcrawler and Lockheed shared several adventures on various worlds, meeting Long John McGurk, Boggies, Jinjav Sabree, and battled the sorcerer Shagreen. At the close of each encounter, he found himself drawn back into a spiraling vortex, only to be literally spat out into a new foreign land. After a great deal of trial and error, Nightcrawler finally succeeded in navigating through the Well and returning home.
   When both Cyclops and Storm returned to the team, Kurt was more than willing to step down and let them sort out leadership of the X-Men themselves. While the X-Men later battled the Beyonder again, Kurt was left behind and began to question his faith in religion. Before the team returned, Kurt again battled Arcade in Murderworld, this time, to save Judith Rassendyll.
   After battling Nimrod with the Hellfire Club as allies, Nightcrawler was gravely injured and was lost after he teleported. After being rescued by Colossus, Shadowcat, and Magik, Kurt found that he could not teleport anymore. Later Kurt's abilities returned, but it became more strenuous to teleport and the X-Men were turned to X-Babies by Mojo, when they battled the New Mutants, until they were broken of their brainwashing and defeated the spineless one, Mojo. After, Kurt faced the Marauders in this weakened state, where he overexerted himself into a coma. Kurt was sent to recover on Muir Island and when he awoke from his coma, Shadowcat informed Kurt of the X-Men's apparent deaths during the time he was out.
Excalibur
   After having the same continuous dream, Nightcrawler and Kitty realized that Rachel might have been trying to telepathically reach them. After being attacked by Gatecrasher and the Technet, who were hired by Saturnyne to eliminate Phoenix, Shadowcat and Meggan Puceanu were captured and Kurt went to Captain Britain, who was in a drunken state after the loss of his sister, Psylocke. After leaving Captain Britain, Kurt tracked Rachel to London, where the Technets were fighting the Warwolves over Rachel. The combined efforts of Kurt, Shadowcat, Phoenix, Meggan, and Captain Britain resulted in the defeat of the Technet and the Warwolves. At the urging of Rachel to continue Professor Xavier's dream, Nightcrawler and Shadowcat became founding members of the British-based team Excalibur. After inspecting their new headquarters, at the Braddock Lighthouse, Kurt briefly witnessed Queen Ai'Sha of another reality, but, when he returned with Meggan, they scene had vanished. Kurt found himself attracted to Meggan, but unable to act, due to her relationship as Captain Britain's girlfriend. Later, Kurt attempted to rescue Shadowcat, who was posing as Rachel, from her plan to find the remaining Warwolves, but Kitty was captured. After saving people from a subway train, Kurt followed a mysterious police officer to the Warwolves' hide-out and Excalibur rescued Shadowcat, who's intangibility saved her life, then placed the Warwolves on display at the zoo.
   After battling the Juggernaut and a group of escaped prisoners, the team addressed Captain Britain's drinking problems, while moving into their new headquarters, Captain Britain's Braddock Lighthouse. Following a trail of forfeit money, Excalibur traveled to Murderworld and battled the Crazy Gang, to rescue Captain Britain's ex girlfriend, Courtney Ross. While battling the Crazy Gang, Excalibur's bodies were switched with members of the Crazy Gang, with Kurt trading places with Jester. After Kitty entered a virus into the Murderworld computers and sent Arcade into Murderworld, Courtney restored everyone to their respectful bodies. Kurt later accompanied Brian Braddock to the The Flying Finish, where he voiced his concern of the Captain seeing Courtney while dating Meggan. Following Rachel, who sensed her infant brother's telepathic distress, Excalibur traveled to the Empire State Building and battled demons, where Meggan was brought under the demonic influence of the demon, N'Astirh, and became the Goblin Princess. While battling the Goblin Princess, Kurt also rescued Rachel from the marriage to the demon, Crotus, while she had been transformed into a mannequin. Reuniting with Kitty, Shadowcat had acquired Illyana Rasputin's Soulsword and eldritch armor and Kitty returned Meggan to normal.
   After the demonic invasion, Kurt left to get the X-Men's old stratojet. Kurt simply teleported into the Skunk Works; a part of the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation and started-up the SR-71 Blackbird. After briefly returning to the School for Gifted Youngsters, Excalibur returned home to rescue W.H.O. from the Lightning Force, alternate reality versions of themselves and negotiated the return of Dr. Moira Mactaggert. After returning to the exchange of Dr. MacTaggert and the Highland Flyer crew with the Lightning Force Reichsrail Train, Reichsminister MacTaggart threw a nuclear grenade and Widget teleported Excalibur and Alistaire Stuart into another dimension.
   Wagner finally learned that his mother is Mystique. Kurt eventually became team leader and moved the team to the Muir Island Research Center where he briefly reunited with Amanda Sefton, who had taken the codename Daytripper, and his former X-Men teammate Colossus joined the team as well. Following the disbanding of Excalibur, Kurt returned to the United States along with Shadowcat and Colossus to rejoin the X-Men.
   When Kurt faced Astra, the creator of the Magneto clone Joseph, she stunned him with the revelation that she had some part in his birth or some past connection to Mystique. Astra escaped and Nightcrawler was left wondering. It was also around this time when the little creatures known as Bamfs found and moved in with their big brother....
Hero Name: Colossus
Legal Name: Piotr "Peter" Nikolaievitch Rasputin
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Age: 26
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Height: 6'6"; (transformed) 7'5"
Weight: 250 lbs., (transformed) 500 lbs.
Description (Appearance): Piotr Rasputin appears as a tall, muscular man with strong Russian features; he has blue eyes and black hair. In the armor form of Colossus Piotr gains additional mass as his skin appears as tough organic steel. This transformation extends even to his eyes which in turn takes on a silver color. His normal uniform is a sleeveless set of tight (normal red and yellow). A large belt with an X insignia, arm bands and thigh high boots.
Powers:
Armored Form
Colossus can transform his body tissue into an organic, steel-like substance that grants him superhuman strength enabling him to lift/press up to 75 tons and makes him impervious to most injury. His armored form can withstand ballistic penetration as well as temperature extremes from 70º above absolute zero (-390º F) to approximately 9000º F. Colossus cannot become partially or selectively armored; his body is either entirely converted, or not at all. Even his eyes become steel-like. Through an act of will, Colossus can transform virtually instantaneously into his armored state, and can remain in that form for an as yet undetermined amount of time. Once in his armored form, Colossus remains so until he consciously wills himself back to normal. If he is rendered unconscious, however, he spontaneously reverts to his normal form. In his armored state, Colossus retains his normal human mobility, though his endurance and speed are enhanced. He does not need to breathe while transformed, but it is believed that he could not survive for long in a vacuum.
Personality: Colossus is typically portrayed as being peaceful, selfless, reluctant to hurt or kill anyone, and always putting himself in danger to protect others. As a teacher he is deep and thought provoking sometimes known to quote poetry and philosophy from famous Russian literature. In the field Colossus will only take off the "gloves" when angered or feels there is no other choice.
Special Skills and Other: Colossus is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, having received training from Wolverine and Cyclops. He has had training in acrobatics and sword fighting from Nightcrawler. In his human form, he is still exceptionally strong and in superb physical condition, though not superhumanly so. He has completed college-level courses at Xavier's school.
Equipment: Currently Colossus's Body is his only equipment.
Studying/Teacher: Piotr teaches Art.
Character History:
Background
Piotr "Peter" Rasputin was born on a Soviet collective farm called the Ust-Ordynsky Collective near Lake Baikal in Siberia. He lived there with his mother Alexandra, father Nikolai, and sister Illyana. His older brother, Mikhail, had been a Soviet cosmonaut and had apparently died in a rocket accident. Peter's superhuman powers manifested during his adolescence while saving his sister from a runaway tractor. Immediately after, Peter was contacted by Professor Charles Xavier, the founder of the X-Men.
X-Men
Peter was part of the second generation of X-Men, formed by Charles Xavier to save the original X-Men from the living island Krakoa. He agreed to leave the farm community in which he was born to go to the United States with Xavier. Xavier gave him the name Colossus. After the battle was won, Colossus remained in the United States with the new X-Men.
In some of his earliest missions, he battled the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, and visited the Savage Land, where he met Nereel.
Peter's family always remained in his thoughts and he frequently wrote letters home. Shortly after joining the X-Men, a woman known as Miss Locke kidnapped many of the team's loved ones to use as hostages in order to force the X-Men to aid her in freeing her employer, Arcade, from captivity by one of Doctor Doom's robots. Among her captives was Colossus' younger sister Illyana, whom Locke had kidnapped from the Siberian collective farm and transported to the United States. Arcade brainwashed Colossus into becoming "The Proletarian", who then battled the other X-Men until they countered the brainwashing. The X-Men freed Illyana from captivity, and she went to live with her brother Peter at Xavier's mansion. Due to her later captivity in a dimension known as Limbo, where she spent years while only mere moments elapsed on Earth, Illyana became the adolescent sorceress known as Magik. As a side effect, an alternate timeline version of Colossus dies in Limbo.
When the X-Men fought the evil mutant Proteus, Colossus attempted to kill Proteus by punching him with his metal skin, an act he found morally questionable even though he did it to save Moira MacTaggart's life. During his early career with the X-Men, Peter started what was arguably his most significant relationship with fellow X-Man Kitty Pryde. Although they were only together as a couple for a short while, the relationship provided the foundation of a deep and lasting friendship.
Colossus was later almost killed in a battle with Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, but was saved by Rogue and the Morlock Healer. During the Secret Wars, he became infatuated with the alien healer Zsaji, and realized his feelings for his teammate were not wholly genuine, ending his relationship with Kitty Pryde. Emotionally distraught, he afterwards engaged in a bar fight with Juggernaut.
During the Mutant Massacre, Colossus became heavily involved in the X-Men's efforts to save the Morlocks from the Marauders. When Kitty was severely injured by Harpoon, Peter gave in to his rage and snapped Riptide's neck. He eventually passed out from previous wounds inflicted by Riptide. Magneto, with the aid of Shadowcat, used his powers to heal Peter's armored form, but the process left him paralyzed. He was sent to Muir Island to recuperate, along with Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, and the surviving Morlocks.
Over time, Colossus' wounds healed, but he was trapped in his armored form, and could only maintain his human form with the utmost concentration. When he saw the X-Men in Dallas during the Fall of the Mutants, he had his sister teleport him to the battle, where he became a wild card, as Destiny had not seen him in her vision of the X-Men's demise. When the team decided to sacrifice themselves to stop the Adversary, Colossus went along, dying to save the world. Like the rest of the X-Men, he was revived by Roma and decided to let the world believe him dead while he and the X-Men worked out of an Australian base.
Following the Inferno event, Illyana was returned to her original Earth age. Colossus decided it would be better for Illyana if she went back to live with their parents in Russia.
In time, Colossus was reunited with Nereel in the Savage Land, and met her son.
After the X-Men began falling apart with Rogue vanishing, Wolverine taking off, Longshot quitting, and Storm apparently killed, Psylocke telepathically prodded the remaining three to disband and travel through the Siege Perilous to gain new lives. Peter emerged in New York with no memory of his past life, inventing a new persona for himself as 'Peter Nicholas', where he quickly became a successful artist. He battled the Genoshan Magistrates. He began having visions of a beautiful model, who turned out to be Callisto transformed by Masque. The two were kidnapped by the Morlocks, though Peter had no memory of his time with the X-Men. He resumed his armored form and defeated Masque. He was saved by Forge, Banshee, and Jean Grey, who decided it better that he live his new life rather than be dragged back into theirs.
Peter was psychically dominated by the Shadow King and sent to hunt down Stevie Hunter and Charles Xavier. Xavier had no choice but to destroy the Peter Nicholas persona to break the Shadow King's hold. Colossus joined in the battle of Muir Island, and rejoined the X-Men as a member of Storm's Gold Strike Force. Peter is shown to be traveling to the Savage Land, where he locates Nereel. He is astonished to learn that the child she bore was not his, but that of another lover. Disheartened, he departs the Savage Land.
The X-Men later found themselves in another dimension, where they discovered that Colossus' brother, Mikhail, was alive and acting as a messiah to the population of that world. Mikhail returned to Earth with the X-Men, but was distraught with having been responsible for the deaths of the original crew from his first trek into the other dimension. Mikhail established himself as leader of the Morlocks and transported them to another world. Peter was disappointed by his brother's abrupt departure and blamed himself.
Not long after, Peter's parents were slain and Illyana kidnapped by the Russian government, who hoped to genetically evolve Illyana to the point where she would have the use of her powers again, to defeat the mutant known as the Soul Skinner. Colossus, with the help of the X-Men, saved Illyana and brought her back to the Mansion.
Later, Illyana became an early victim of the Legacy Virus and died from it. The loss of his immediate family, as well as brain damage that forced him to remain in armored form, caused Colossus to rethink his position with the X-Men and join Magneto and his Acolytes, who had offered him an alternative to the X-Men's pacifist philosophy of peaceful mutant/human coexistence. Colossus recovered from the brain damage soon after, but decided to remain with the Acolytes of his own volition, hoping he could temper their extremist methods with what he had learned from Professor Xavier.
Piotr organic steel muscles bulged as he bench pressed the bar stacked heavy on each end with two many weights to count. He didn't breathe out with the effort because he didn't require air while in his armored. He was Colossus, he was an X-men, and he was trying so very hard to forget the way the Shadow King had dominated him and sent him after the man Peter would have called his second father. So much had changed since he left that Soviet collective farm called the Ust-Ordynsky Collective near Lake Baikal in Siberia. Good friends lost and other's returning almost unrecognizable from who they were before. His mind race through the years and through the battles against foes like the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and the Marauders. Images of Riptipe neck snapping under his fingers caused him to almost lose the press and he struggle to get the bar up and on the top stand. How many was that, Peter thought... 245, 250? He didn't even know the amount of mass he had been pressing, he simply just put every weight he could find in the room on the bar and started working out. His mind drifted again to his sister Illyana and if she was happy back at the farm? "Enough of this." he spoke aloud as he shed his armor form. The big man grabbed a towel to throw over his shoulder for the  hot shower he didn't need, no sweat. Peter just hoped it would be soothing.
The path back to the living quarters of the mansion took him close to the X-Men's Danger Room. This practice facility utilize start of the art equipment, some not of this earth, to create any battle field scenario one cold imagine. Colossus soon realized that someone was in there today and that someone had probably dialed up some major bad guys to practice with. On a whim he enter the control room and watched as a purple clad woman in a skin tight body suit flew through the air cutting into a Sentinel with her *Pys* knives that were called by psychic will to the woman's hand. Peter marveled at the skill of the warrior and if he was truthful with himself the body of the Japanese woman possessed. Tights curves and heaving chest move with fluid grace across the room. This was one of his team mates that had changed after a trip through the Seige Perlious. He remember Betsey as she was before and the sharp contrast to the warrior before him now was astonishing.
Three of the large robot Sentinels, mutant hunting killing machines, had Pyslocke surrounded but the woman didn't seem to care. She spat her cry of defiance and stood ready for the onslaught that was about to rain down on her. Peter glanced over and notice the Danger Room program levels were set to 8 and shocked registered on his face. Most of the Safety protocols would be off at that level and Elizabeth could be seriously hurt if those Sentinel unleash on her. Colossus reach for the emergency override which would shut down the danger room and the threat but he saw Pyslocke's eyes staring at him and she didn't need to telepathically say what her expression convey so clearly. Peter's hand moved away from the override as the Sentinels attacked.
In mere moments the danger room's far door sprung open and Colossus bear chest starts to cover with that seemingly indestructible metal. The towel he was carrying before tossed over his shoulder as he leaps and intercepts one of the Sentinels bearing down on his team mate and power slams it to the ground. He turns to face the beautiful Asian mutant and before she can say a word...
"I know your going to tell me you didn't need the help. So just accept the fact that I'm just hear to share in the fun." He smiles as shadows cover them both and the other two Sentinels bellow out something about, "Mutants you have been identified and resistance is futile." before raising their hands in a predictable attack.
Colossus, power house of Gold Team looks at his partner and says, "Ladies first..."
"Why do Roses have Thorns... to remind you that somethings, no matter how beautiful, are not to be touched without a little sacrifice..."
Notification to all, just in case I missed someone:
Silknsatan will be back in roughly 2 weeks.
She'll finish the Danger Room sequence upon her return if people are up to it.
If her absence is longer I will fast forward to the late evening for group dinner with Logan attempting to cook something (attempting!). That way momentum is kept until her return.
Apologies for the unexpected hiccup.
burntheart
Sorry for not getting a reply up, I'm at a convention and I'm running off of my phone a d doing replies on my phone is super tedious. I'm gonna try to get a reply up as soon as I get home either Sunday or Monday.
Captain Whitebread
 Adelia is now in a position to flip her shit, now that she has not only encountered the guy with wings, he caught her in mid air and made it look easy.
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.
burntheart
She will likely be flipping shit for multiple reasons, there is also likely to be grumbling about needing food and not knowing her way around the building, and she will probably hunt him down later and then proceed to harass him about his wings
Sasquatch421
Having internet problems at the moment... Hopefully things clear up enough to get posts up later....
His normal uniform is a sleeveless set of tight (normal red and yellow). A large belt with an X insignia, arm bands and thigh high boots.
Background
Piotr "Peter" Rasputin was born on a Soviet collective farm called the Ust-Ordynsky Collective near Lake Baikal in Siberia. He lived there with his mother Alexandra, father Nikolai, and sister Illyana. His older brother, Mikhail, had been a Soviet cosmonaut and had apparently died in a rocket accident. Peter's superhuman powers manifested during his adolescence while saving his sister from a runaway tractor. Immediately after, Peter was contacted by Professor Charles Xavier, the founder of the X-Men.
X-Men
Peter was part of the second generation of X-Men, formed by Charles Xavier to save the original X-Men from the living island Krakoa. He agreed to leave the farm community in which he was born to go to the United States with Xavier. Xavier gave him the name Colossus. After the battle was won, Colossus remained in the United States with the new X-Men.
In some of his earliest missions, he battled the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, and visited the Savage Land, where he met Nereel.
Peter's family always remained in his thoughts and he frequently wrote letters home. Shortly after joining the X-Men, a woman known as Miss Locke kidnapped many of the team's loved ones to use as hostages in order to force the X-Men to aid her in freeing her employer, Arcade, from captivity by one of Doctor Doom's robots. Among her captives was Colossus' younger sister Illyana, whom Locke had kidnapped from the Siberian collective farm and transported to the United States. Arcade brainwashed Colossus into becoming "The Proletarian", who then battled the other X-Men until they countered the brainwashing. The X-Men freed Illyana from captivity, and she went to live with her brother Peter at Xavier's mansion. Due to her later captivity in a dimension known as Limbo, where she spent years while only mere moments elapsed on Earth, Illyana became the adolescent sorceress known as Magik. As a side effect, an alternate timeline version of Colossus dies in Limbo.
When the X-Men fought the evil mutant Proteus, Colossus attempted to kill Proteus by punching him with his metal skin, an act he found morally questionable even though he did it to save Moira MacTaggart's life. During his early career with the X-Men, Peter started what was arguably his most significant relationship with fellow X-Man Kitty Pryde. Although they were only together as a couple for a short while, the relationship provided the foundation of a deep and lasting friendship.
Colossus was later almost killed in a battle with Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, but was saved by Rogue and the Morlock Healer. Powers
Organic Steel Form: Colossus is a mutant with the superhuman ability to convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic steel-like substance. This substance resembling steel is of unknown composition but appears to be analogous to osmium and to carbon steel. He is able to transform into this armor-like state at will (the process is virtually instantaneous) and remain in that form for an as yet undetermined amount of time. (The longest time he has remained in armored form by choice so far has been five days). Once in his armored form he remains so until he consciously wills himself back to normal. If he is rendered unconscious, however, he spontaneously reverts to his normal form.
While in the armored state, Colossus possesses the same degree of mobility that he does in his normal form. The conversion from flesh and bone to organic steel is accomplished by a psionic whole-brain interface with an ionic form of osmium, an extremely dense metal, located in another dimension. In willing the act of transformation, Colossus actually exchanges osmium atoms for his carbon atoms. The psionic interface with the other dimension re-creates all of Colossus's body in functionally similar organic ionic-osmium materials. The process by which Colossus gains additional mass from an unknown, perhaps extra-dimensional, force remains unknown. Colossus cannot become partially or selectively armored; his body is either entirely converted or not.
Superhuman Strength: After transforming into his armored state, Colossus possesses vast superhuman strength. As a teenager, he was sufficiently strong enough to be listed as a class 70. (This scale is only for comparisons between characters, and should not remotely be taken literally). However, as a fully mature adult, his strength has increased to the point that he is listed at exactly class 100.
Superhuman Stamina: Also, while in armored form, Colossus' musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins than the musculature of a normal human. At his peak, he can physically exert himself at peak capacity for several days before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.
Superhuman Durability: In his armored form Colossus is invulnerable to most forms of bodily harm. His armor is capable of withstanding ballistic penetration, including that of a 155 millimeter Howitzer shell. He can survive extremes of temperature from 70 degrees above absolute zero (-390 degrees Fahrenheit) to approximately 9000 degrees Fahrenheit. He can survive a collision with a loaded, ten-ton flatbed truck at 100 miles per hour or an explosion of 4500 pounds of TNT. He can also survive falls from great heights while in his armored body.
