Hosting X-rated images.

Right, if anyone could point me towards a hosting service that allows for X-rated images to be uploaded, that would be lovely. I'd use the Wiki, but I'm pretty sure that's not what it's there for. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm using photobucket at the moment, and I have some images that will break their hosting rules.

www.imageshack.us allows quite a bit of x-rated material. But as far as I know, we can use the wiki for that (now we can) so long as you put it in the right category. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Yeah, I thought I read something alone the lines of that as well. And I would rather use the wiki as well, but also not wish to missuse it.

I think the issue was for a while that we didn't have enough space or whatnot to host many images, but that issue has been resolved.

It's one of the reasons I host Elluiki.

Elliquiy has 6 terabytes/month of bandwidth, and 250GB of mirrored hard drives. We have a 10mbps pipe, typically using about .8 mbps and peaking at about twice that. So we can handle about five times our current traffic before bandwidth becomes an issue.

I'm not hurting for it : )

Outside of giving credit and providing warnings where appropriate, I also would rather not have any images of anyone under the age of 18 on this site, at all, period. Sometimes people freak out and I'd rather not deal with that.

I use the E Wiki to upload images. I think the phrase about not unloading our porn collections is a bit of a turn off though. I don't think I have a lot of images on there, and it's certainly not every image I have, but that one phrase made me very hesitant to upload anything at all the first go around. I keep expecting to get chastised for uploading the handful I already have at some point.

I could probably remove that. That was back when we were limited to 1-3 gb of space - the constraints that prompted that no longer apply.

Well, that's lovely. Thank you very much, dear. I'll still use Photobucket for things, but the Wiki will get what I can't host there then (if I'm using said image for Elli, of course).

I try my best to only use Elliquiy's Wiki space for images I'm using in games or sending to people on the site, and then only ones that Photobucket would delete. I use Photobucket for everything clean, even if its E-game related because I'd prefer their bandwidth to pay for them instead of Veks'

If I was just uploading porn for external use and not for use on E I still think its polite to use a free image hosting service elsewhere of which there are a number around now (imagefap is another one), rather than use Veks' server space and bandwidth but that's just my approach. If he really doesn't mind who am I to argue? ;)
