A mermaid city brilliantly glittering, merman sentries stand silent defending
One entrance through the ancient belly, this wooden ship of old

Moving closer these two bound embrace, a careful movement forward
Blue light grows brighter and music drifts, a heartfelt wondrous welcome

The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself. -Oscar Wilde

Charm is a way of getting the answer yes without having asked any clear question. - Albert Camus

Through the grid of wells and passages, a wave of tones to tell some
Entrusted guest or native that they belong
In this realm and will recognize the sirens' song

The two swim closer, dip into the bowels of the wooden ship
Their chests still close to each other, hands still tied behind, eager not to slip
Suddenly a lasso shooting through the water sneaks around their hips
Another one pushing their torsos together, their arms pinned, and lips to lips

They are hauled tightly down into this age-old gate,
Submitting to a sudden but accepted path laid by fate
and holding their breath now, as the drift takes them through...

One golden rope that binds them, glowing blessed by Gods
Shimmering walls do light the way, like mystical facades
Haunting notes so lyrical, not even immortals may resist
Each new breath now filled with magic, as though by fate they have been kissed

Movement slows as they’re pulled closer, to an imposing throne of three
Blinding beauty stands before them, enchanted daughters of the sea
Our two captives now rest spellbound, breast to breast their hearts beat one
As they ache to hear that glorious melody, just once more, they are undone

Heated longing running through their veins, facing the gleaming three
With ropes gnawing into bodies at pains to stand, these sisters of the sea
Look around, again around up to the dome of coral rock
Their arms and chests so firmly bound, their souls do interlock

One of them gasping, mumbling as pulsations strike her breasts
Awe and arousal scuffling, her mind not coming to rest
Writhing growing stronger now, the two tumble to the ground
Rolling, moaning, their eyes aglow, body to body bound

(if anyone is thinking we have kind of hijacked this thread, rest assured: we will most likely take this underwater mythic theme to some other place in time: it really calls for an extended RP or a joint story)

Hips undulating ecstasy, soft lips searching now found
Their movements like dancing, intimate pleasure’s sweet sound
Feverish and wanton, the golden cord snaps and breaks
With a crack of a whip, the ocean ripples and quakes

For defying the Sirens, there’s a price to be paid
Those watching protest, but immortal chill won’t be swayed
Innocent though these lovers may be, nothing can stop the judgement of three
A man now appears with triton aglow, shackles in hand, he bends on one knee

Seconding what Louise said...we do not want to hijack this thread by any means, so anyone is welcome to jump in at any time, as always!)

Approaching the maids, he solemnly waves, summoning two silvery eels
At his sign the two scaled-up maiden slaves get on knees, to see what it feels
Like down here. The merman motions "Open a-wide" and reaches, inserting the coilers
first in one, then the next, inside, these gags feeling thick and oily.

He waves the triton: "For desecrative cumming there be a price to pay!
You stay in service, but will hang in irons, the flogger dancing away
On your backs and breasts so fine!" -The crowd now hushes to a silence
As the maidens nod, their hands unentwined, but ready to face sacred violence.

A ripple of whispers, the crowd curious what awaits
Trumpets begin heralding, an opening of locked gates

Maiden's eyes grow wider, fear as procession begins marching
The chamber before them, sprawling beams skyward arching

Well, the descent of the mermaids into this ancient city hidden under the sea floor has taken me and Xandria on a roll, it's something we really wanted to explore, and there is more to come. But it seems to have reached the point where it will no longer fit on this board, both because the content will now have to become more adult than is allowed here (PG-13) and because it would feel nice to do it as prose - though we might have some parts interspersed in verse as well. Thus I'll be reposting the strophes of the last few pages in some other place - I will be adding a link here soon - and either we will continue in that thread or we will set up a role play that would track part of the same stretch travelled here in its early stages and then go on to the punishment of the mermaids (which is also a way of teaching them the unflinching obedience they must show to their gods and superiors) and then beyond that - hopefullty far beyond that...

Filled with clear, lit-up water, element to swim and dance in
The dome reaches high up over the procession, mermen glancing
as the maidens solemnly approach a square of granite poles
high, with bronze beams uniting them, while shark skin drums sound solemn rolls.

After mermaid tales and water fun, the closing bell now tolls

We're back to silly lines of two, as was originally intended

It's about time this thread was mended!

Now's the time to get silly again!

Ah but perhaps some poets will prefer to be Zen!

Now onward ho let us make no sense, Bugs Bunny anyone?

Making no sense is really quite fun!

Alas maybe I have spoken much too soon

Those bitter greens I care not for, I abhor them quite harshly

But maybe with a dash of chilies, aye that might do the trick

So that explains the mound of dirt, we really must confer

Myself I'll stick to feather beds, to be covered in dirt would be unseemly!

I'm reposting the mermaid scene from this thread here - this is the poetic version and Xandria and myself will likely be continuing it there but perhaps also putting up an extended RP relating to these mythic motives of sea civilizations, Neptune, the Sirens and the Mermaids and occasional enchanted sailors in some other thread.

Lump and foul potatoes and wet dirty cabbages are just so bad, extremely

Foul smelling stuff that must sure drive a lady insane

As nasty as that horrible plant they call Wolfsbane?

Poisonous deadly with purple hood flowers, an ingredient coveted by witches who brew

Delighting with words and banter, such rhymes of clever wit
