Before I begin describing the context of the game, I am going to start off with the rules. These are something I see more important; and keep in mind you are to also abide to the Site’s Rules as well. Failure to comply to rules of the site within my game will result in reporting; failure to comply to my rules will result in a removal from my game. Though I am usually an easy going guy, I will not tolerate any nonsense or BS in my game, if you may feel this is too much or any the rules are, do not join.

I will also note this game is of a fictional religious nature. If you are a heavy religious sort and may take offense to such content, then this game is probably not the best suitable for you.

RULES
I. LGBT Friendly.
II. No OOC Drama.
III. Two-Three paragraph minimum posting.
IV. Third Person Narrative.
V. Respect Other Player's O/Os and Preferences
VI. Non-Con and Extremities must be agreed upon by whatever party they are targeting.
VII. No Godmoding, Powerplaying, or Metagaming; without the consensus of who it affects.
VIII. No killing off other players' characters,  unless you have permission from the player of such.
IX. Inform me and others for extended inactivity period. After a month of no announcing of going away, you will be ejected from the game.
X. Problems are to be brought to me or fellow GMs through PM.
XI. Additional Rules and Edits may be added, depending on concerns. An update to such will always be included prior of doing so.
XII. My Word is Law. 

Failure to comply to any of these rules will result in warnings and a removal from the game. Bold roman numerals are immediate bans from my game if not respected. Three warnings and you are kicked out otherwise to everything else. You may or may not be allowed to rejoin depending on severity of offenses that resulted in kicking; if you are allowed to rejoin, if there is a second kicking, don't bother reapplying for a third time.

Introductory


When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.

After two decades, the war for humanity has already came and passed with a cost on both fronts and a toll upon mortality that was caught between the battle of good and evil. In the end, it was the demons who triumphed by finding a spell powerful enough to seal heaven to prevent any more divine reinforcements intruding upon their plans. Now Earth is finally their playpen and there has been many of their kin dreaming of an escape from their once damned Haven. Still, requirements are necessary for them to make due with living in the mortal realm and lingering angelic presences are also a danger as are certain factions of their kin who may align themselves to the Prime Evils to attempt to gain more favor. Even claimed, Earth is still a dog eat dog world, more so than ever than before.

Though humanity is one of the commodities upon Earth these days. Mortals are required for any to take possession of, otherwise beings may just hover around without much interaction in their more spiritual forms. This has made the value of live humans extremely high and many demons have begun to cultivate and farm these individuals by granting them places to continue to live and thrive. Some demons have even left mortals alone completely in various cities or towns so that they can continue to populate; before harvest season. Again, humanity is what grounds any otherworlder to the mortal plane.

Not all humans are allowed such a privilege, not all that survived the chaos between the former angel and demon war may escape the hell from the demons that targeted their cities. Life is not a paradise for the mortals who may share living with such entities; it is an adjustment at best. There is no telling when their love ones would be corrupted and turned into the next meatsuit for a new demon to wear. There is also no telling of the despicable acts that the demons may force upon the humans. Still, this doesn’t always mean all humans share that terrible fate in the same city of demons. Some of the beasts may take upon mortals as simple serfs or servants to fulfill their needs. Not all of hell’s creatures are twisted and sadistic.

So thus begins the demon reign upon Earth and how mortality copes with such. It has already been five years and many places upon the Earth are still in shambles; but the present city dubbed Proserpina is steadily recovering from the devastation of the divine war. The demon governing over the provenience of these mortals has made it an effort for them to repair and restore their homes; all the while keeping up the commodity and value the mortals possess. The city has became a no killing zone; meatskins cannot be so needlessly wasted and it isn’t rare for hunting parties to be sent out to other areas to cultivate more mortals for the provenience. Again, humans are valuable; whether farming for their souls or turning them into suits for other demons or fallen to wear. There is also just the collecting of them as slaves/pets or additional hands for the rebuilding process.

Appearance: Tall, standing at a height of 6’0” even. Aged showing plenty of gray hairs mixed in his dark locks. Toned, possessing a hint of muscle to his average build.

Personality:
Mocking - He often taunts those he is in company with in more ways than one. This can also play into his voice mimicry power to add further insult to injury.
Mildly Psychotic - He is a demon, after all, though his business side often keeps this in check. Still, he is the last person you want to get on a bad end with as torture is just another tool of the trade.
Sarcastic - Sharp wit and tongue alike has left Mr. Mormon someone to not be trifled with in dull-ish matters.
Ambitious - Why, again, he is a demon after all. Being ‘adored,’ is part of his ambition. Petty, perhaps, but it is behavior that often wins favor. Keeping minions appeased is just another layer of the game.
Generous - Why no good deed goes unrewarded, but the reward itself may not be what some may want.

Strengths:
Negotiation - He is a businessman, having gain considerable power through his many dealings with mortals in the past.
Manipulation - He knows well how to control the masses, a notable reason why he has been and still is the present Mayor.
Clever - Should go without saying, but he is a crafty, gray-hair fox.

Weaknesses:
Non-Combatant - He has no skill in fighting and often prefers to not dirty his hands. When he does, his methods are cheap and underhanded.
Pride - Sometimes his pride can get in the way of logical reason. Especially if he feels that he has been wronged. Woe to those involved as he is vengeful. 
Arrogant - Why, of course there is no one more important than himself; that should be obvious.

Powers:
Teleportation: The ability to teleport to one place to another without occupying the space in-between.
Voice Mimicry: The ability to mimic another's voice.
Telekinesis: is the ability to move or otherwise exert force on objects or people from a distance and without physical contact. The ability is often used with gestures, other forms of bodily motion. However, it is also used with some form of mental effort, as well as with strong emotion.
Regeneration: The ability to heal wounds and injuries beyond that of a normal person. This ability does not however make its holder immortal or invulnerable, just more difficult to kill than normal beings.

History: Zaesir's tale is nothing more than that of a rags to riches adventure. Very few paupers ever become 'king,' and his cunning was more than enough to get him to the position he holds today. Of course, it was never always so, Zaesir had been beneath the ladder in power. It isn't simple for higher demons to cross over, or well, before the rift at least and even with the rift presently, it is still unheard of for many above his reigning station.

Before the Apocalypse, before the smaller spatial rift that allowed lesser demons to squeeze through(till the rift became what it is today,) long before modern civilization, there was Zaesir. It was simpler for weaker demons to cross over from time to time, humans had a habit of playing with things they shouldn't, and Zaesir had walked Earth before the crucifixion of Jesus. He didn't wear his trendy meatsuit as today, Zaesir harbor plenty different attires back then, jumping from victim to victim. His role nothing too sinister, just taking on that of a 'business' man in a more ancient timeline of humanity. Greed was a common occurrence of human desire, contracts and many souls he had been responsible in collecting as a crossroads demon; and souls themselves was just another source of power.

Zaesir's rise to power did have consequences, naturally before the rift, the stronger one was, the harder it was to maintain anchorage upon earth.  Vessels were a common travel method, but when a meatsuit can't properly support the abomination anymore, now that was a problem. It was inevitable that Zaesir ended back in hell,  but his legacy was far from over. He used his power to manipulate lesser demons, employ them and send them through rifts where they made deals and collected souls on his behalf. Of course, they were rewarded, but he didn't feed the middlemen that much power.  These events continued even when the rift came within the modern world. Naturally, he couldn't cross over then; but as time waned on and the rift grew stronger, his time upon Earth would come once again.

He seen his fair share of war between good and evil,  although his time upon Earth was spent more in educating himself with the change of everything.  His activity within the war was laidback, a thinker outside the box, though many demons may often see him as a 'coward,' as well. Zaesir saw no need to get his hands dirty when he can just outwit and crush any opposing force.  Strategy and cunning were more than enough to win a war,  no matter what battles may be lost prior to such to find the best results of an opposing force's weaknesses. It was that same cleverness that ensured his survival and continues to hold true today.

After the war, his attention turned to securing a proper place to reign. Civilization was still required, to an extent, and humans posed valuable in various ways. Thus was how he soon begin to become a self anointed king, by finding a desolated land rich with humans and bringing them under his rule with his henchmen. With the growth of the city, other demons and fallen would come to live as well, all generally expected to subjugate themselves under his rule. He couldn't have rebellion, couldn't have fiends doing as they pleased in his town; since lack of control led to chaos and chaos itself led to, well, how most of the world is today. His legacy has led to the creation of Proserpina and continued rule over it and he would be damned if any tried to muck it up.

The meatsuit he claimed presently is of tall height, standing a good five feet and eleven inches. Dark brown eyes, equally hued hair often kept shortly cut or shaven. His build is of a scrawny one, though holding slight muscle to his rather limber form. His body is decorated with various inkings from his mortal, criminal, counterpart; almost a walking contraption of art. As for other visible traits, there are the piercings, his ears,  his tongue, and of course the many hidden studs down below the waist.

Personality:
Insane - Who isn't, well, probably most people aren't. Hell has taken more of a toil upon him and being 'free,' hasn't aided much either. In fact, being on Earth has worsen his state of mind, not to mention the unforeseen amount of times he may of time-traveled afterwards to stop pesky angels in their tracks of rewriting history.
Comical - Why, of course he takes everything as a joke. Why wouldn't he? A barrel of laughs is the life he lives, even if he is the only one laughing in someone's blood that is.
Chaotic - He does what he wants, when he wants, where he wants. With his master in Hell and likely not getting out anytime soon, Azazel sees no merit in playing by others rules.
Sadistic - We are dealing with a being hailing from the Circle of Anger, after all. Inflicting pain, being inflicted upon, it is just a merry-go-round of torture to him all in the same. 
Psychopathic -And why wouldn't he be? Hell isn't all sunshine and kittens, he isn't going to play any sly roles to butter someone up. Well, maybe, depends on the day;  a bit of butter to go with the butchering materials can work wonders as well.

Strengths:
Unpredictable - Crazy in a hand-basket has left his actions hard to follow at times.
Combatant - He was a lesser member of Lucifer's merry band, trained and forged to be a warrior. He has training in various medieval weaponry; swords, daggers, lances, axes, spears. whips, flails, unarmed, etc, etc.
Allegiance - Many demons or angels are aligned to someone or something. Azazel is no different; which makes him still a valuable asset to demon reign. He isn't the type to cross over to play on team  'good guys;' or rather, boring feathery justice scouts.

Weaknesses:
Insane - His lack of sanity has left him as a rather dangerous presence. It wouldn't be a suprise if everyone he encounters is an enemy, even if they don't want to admit it. Of course, he sees himself as good friends with them all. Even if they are bleeding out of the eyeballs, best friends forever.
Dampened Skill - Probably mainly from his craziness, his combative abilities have also dropped or perhaps, his actions when fighting has often left him quite open at times. Either taunting or toying with his opponents, but that guard will more than often be lowered by him. Not in a manner of arrogance, just more of him 'having fun.'
Allegiance - Woe and behold, Azazel only follows one King and that is Lord Beelzebub. After all,  all the cool people are mad, some just madder than others.

Spell Casting:  Fallen are still adept in Enochian magic which they use to protect themselves from Angels and Demons alike. Some may dabble in Witchcraft, but are not as proficient in it.
Power Negation: The ability to inhibit a being from using their power. This does not work on higher rank demons/angels.
Smiting: Fallen can kill humans, celestial, or even demons with a touch. Naturally higher rank demons or angels cannot be smitten by lesser ones. Smiting is generally done when a fallen places their hand upon one's forehead, mouth, or face
Electrokinesis: Eelectronic manipulation is the ability to conjure or manipulate electricity.
Biokinesis:  An unique power to manipulate the life forces and energies; as well as chemical and cellular aspects of a physical body.
Telekinesis: is the ability to move or otherwise exert force on objects or people from a distance and without physical contact. The ability is often used with gestures, other forms of bodily motion. However, it is also used with some form of mental effort, as well as with strong emotion.
First Sphere
Time-Travel: The ability to travel through time. Naturally time-travel itself is usually a heavenly appointed gift, but those of higher power can still access it. Of course, when time-travel is used, there is a 'time-lag' that allows any other user to intervene or follow the one performing it into whatever designated period.  Time-travel is also very dangerous to the vessel, it takes a lot of healing to sustain a body during and after travel. Many angels are often 'wiped' for the day of performing the deed, depending the length of time of travel. Of course there are loop-holes for extended journies such as bare mininum healing and then discarding the occupied body for another, something Fallen are more than capable of but not all actual Angels.

Likes:
Killing - Who doesn't? Well, goody-two-shoes; although these days it is hard to find creative ways of murder after living as long as he had and doing the act countless times.
Torture - Another fun game. How do you think time was really pass in the Circle of Anger?
Sex - Who knew what fun the human body can harbor. Sex is almost as good as murder and cake; if he could taste anything beyond the molecules, that is.
TV Shows/Movies - One of the many ways he passed time during a period that had such in allowance. Does one think he always went straight back to the present after stopping pesky angels? Oh no, not always, given the fluidity of time, he would arrive naturally to the present by doing nothing, so there is no rush on his behalf.
Saturday Morning Cartoons - Oh how he misses them, they were the other only thing to keep him 'sane' during all his time traveling adventures. Now he has to find other means of entertainment in the world. Well, he can always make modern Scooby Doo Adventurers by dressing up mortals.

Dislikes:
Humans  -  They are nothing more than hairless monkeys in his eyes. He is a good ol' boy sharing the brainwashing Lucifer brought upon many Fallen during that age of rebellion.
Angels - So noble, so peaceful, so justified and utterly boring. He can't believe he was such a proper boy-scout for the cause. Still, they are humorous like a bunch of headless chickens now that Heaven is closed; their only saving grace.
Demons - Oh, he can go on with a list of why he loathes their kin. Thinking they are control, believing they are the real rulers of the world, so on and so forth and then killing one another in the process. He still has trouble weighing what is worse, demons or humans.
Lucifer - He isn't joining that fan club again. Lucifer promised to make Heaven great again, but Azazel saw the end result of that attempt too well.
Satanists(AKA Lucifer Fanboys/girls)  - It is just a real bad running gag these days. Not that he condones other religion or religion at all.  Though humans really seem incapable of understanding the irony of it all that once made it humorous and now and days just a droll subject to bare.

Regarding Project

So what exactly is this game? Hell on Earth is a sandbox geared game where demons have already won the supernatural battle between good and evil and practically rule over earth. It is a grim based world, where humanity has been reduced to nothing more than a form of currency or better yet, commodity given the circumstances. More importantly, it is also a slice of life, which sadly I have no room to fit that quirk within the subject itself.

Are there slavery themes? Why yes, there are. Does this make this a slavery game or master/mistresses and slaves? No, not at all. I will not turn players away if that is what they seek, it is one concept, but it is a minor concept. The main object of slavery itself is how humans are foreseen as basic cattle within the city, where most(not all) of the RP will be taking place. It is a city where humans coexist with demons, fallen, and whatever angels that may surface as well. Is it a happy go lucky life? Well, I doubt you can call the mortals living the dream, but within Proserpina, it is a better life than outside the city limits. Earth has basically became a jungle, not all demons that now reign conform to the rules that the mayor has set out to keep the city peaceful and maintain a steady flow of mentioned 'commodity.' Proserpina just happens to be the lesser of evils.

In the future, depending on roster, I would like to incorporate various events to keep things lively. Of course, I don't mind player driven events either(long as they run it by me first to see if okay, I rather avoid heavy city destruction/killing unless it is planned out.) I would like for things to branch from the city from time to time, but again the city itself is the main base/focus point of survival. 

I have also derived some elements from the tv series Supernatural. Now, this is not a Supernatural game, this has little to do with the show.  The main elements I took from it was demon/angel ability of possession and spun it slightly my way to fit whatever ranks of power those races are. The same went for Reapers, which in the show I don't believe they possessed the dead or anyone. Nephilim and Anti-Christs got nerfed cause if you watched the show, lets face it, they are too OP. And the powers were all sourced from that Supernatural Wiki along with weaknesses that I just organized as best as I could for those races and modified slightly as well.  Though those were the only few things sourced.

I am just going to be bit lazy here and copy/edit some of my former additional notes for my games.

This game will have multi threads(depending on amount of applicants) those that know me when I create things, I tend to not like for a roleplay to center around a single thread. This game may also likely be pretty smut heavy in some fields, although I still encourage player plottings with one another(I am not going to say no to otherwise raunchiness, but still I don't want that to be a main focus point overall.)

Characters will be represented by Real People, since all hosts are that of humans; it is just easier and simpler to focus on live models or whatnot than that of art/anime/etc.

Content of this game will be extreme; not everyone is expected to partake in such. I do not limit extremities in the games I create as long as they do not violate E rules, then all is fine. Again, you must have strict consent with your writing partner with any material you wish to produce with them and warning labels should be included in post tags.

Do not start anything major without my permission. Such as an uprising or revolt or something like that. I promise you, it will not end pretty for your character(s) and any involved; do not go around destroying my world. Sandbox, yes, but you start blowing up part of the city/town or mass murdering NPCs and we are going to also have problems. Just because the city/town is overrun by demons does not mean they will continuous do such destructive behavior now that it is subjugated under their control and in the process of being rebuilt. Remember, various actions will have consequences and don't test me on this; unless you want a bad end for your character.
