I concur, that said, I see only three dedicated interests, perhaps another project would be more fruitful. what primarly attracts people to this idea? Perhaps I can find something that works, yet has a broader appeal.

I think the main thing for me was the dark/erotic part. I enjoy mixing horror themes with smut and have yet to find a campaign that lasted long enough to have fun with it.

Yeah, I know that feeling, so many folks have awesome ideas, you make a character and then stuff kinda.. drops off. I can promise that wont happen to me, barring serious rl mayhem.

Perhaps the whole afterlife-aspect of this thing drove some people off. I can easily drop that and transform it into a pure ravenloft inspired campaign. Been pondering on that as well after listening to hellfire covers on loop.

-Raises hand- i'm interested! and while i do like the variety of races and classes offered by pathfinder, i find 5E a vastly superior core (all of Pathfinder's granularity gets stuck in my teeth at times.)

By the way, what sorta pairings do you tend to go for, Deva? I usually have a preference towards m/m content, but if that ain't your bag, I'll probably end up making a female character over, like, a trap or something.

Traps can be cute, if done right.
I'm generally open to whatevers, dun let my hesitation about disallowing 'make me a girl as punishment' for storyline reasons mislead you, trap, futa, whatever works. In a way this setting -wants- to explore darker desires so such a character can be ripe with potential, depending on how they view their sexuality.

Still here, been busy here, there and everywhere! Will be continuing with my character. Really I think all I need to do is choose their spells and write their blurb and they'll be ready to roll. :)

I'm glad sticking to 5e is happening. I also am attracted to the part-sorta Berserk and part-Wraith the Oblivion vibe the concept gave me. Or Dark Souls schtick. All three of those I was thinking aboot.

You're not far off, wander, 'specially the half-surreal scenes of berserk I dunno the wraith thing but sounds good too...

The very core of this idea was The Void, a rather surreal game that, considering it's dirt-cheap, is worth a peek at, imo, just for its uniqueness. It was a bit.. overly artsy, but few games had such a psychological impact on me.. I know thats neither here nor there for someone not knowing it, but basically I enjoy having an oppressive, darker world because moments of sucess and happiness feel far more real when you truly fought for them and know they can be fleeting.
I think a bit of .. oomph is taken out of a lot of erotic campaigns when you know all the gnolls are after is your booty. In my campaign, well, for one, it wont be normal gnolls and for two, .. but not spoilering too much here. :P

Basically, I'm pretty set on wanting to DM this, and if we end up being just three, whatever, as long as I got three folks that are really into it, works for me.

Time table as in? I don't really like setting deadlines, people will be done when they're done, though if someone takes weeks to submit anything I'll just understand that as a lack of continued interest.

So midway through making my backstory, I realized that when I said my character was a Gunslinger, I didn't actually mention that it was a more 'Wild West' type of campaign. I'm not sure how much it matters, seeing as anything involving guns is gonna be removed from him thanks to being dead and he'll, for all intents and purposes, be your usual fantasy adventurer at the start, but I figured I should make sure that it was okay before I finished up the backstory.

Also, holy heck, I'm even more excited for this game hearing you were inspired by The Void. I adored that game and it had a pretty big impact on me too.

Literally the only thing I need to fill in now is the backstory part. My tiefling sorcerer has a name, build and all the needed bits. I'm hoping my character sheet for him will be done by tonight.

I thought that the game had great potential, shockingly more so by how under the radar it is for most people, the only thing I disliked was that it got a bit very artsy with the ending and that, past a certain point, most challenge was kind of gone..
Oh and that some things you could pretty much not deal with without a google and some rng.

Currentlly we certainly have space, but no character is fully finished yet so .. pretty open on what you want to choose, I do believe we are light on frontline martial things as well as healers as of now, that said, I can deal with a group of 4 warlocks and a druid, no problem here. ^^
