Make Mine Marvel!
Welcome to BlackJack's Avengers Infinity Rpg, a free-form forum game on Elliquiy! A creative group focussing on Earths Mightiest Heroes and Heroines. Set in a loose interpretation of the 616 comics but incorporating elements of the MCU and Marvels Many cartoons and video Games.

The Heroes
Players will be free to select from existing Marvel characters or choose to create new Heroes.  The game is composed of a coalition of Superhumans, mutants, Inhumans and Aliens of all races, genders and ages;  however if you wish to create an Hero then they must be separate from existing canon, no long lost sister of Tony Stark or Future Daughter of the Hulk etc. The Avengers will operate out of Stark Tower in the heart of New York city, and the setting will be in the modern day, the year of 2017.  The game's independent canon will be established by the players. Players may select characters from the X-men, Fantastic Four, Defenders and Guardians of the Galaxy as members of the team.

The format for character submissions will be simple.

Taken Avengers
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
Blackjack:  Captain America/Steve Rogers, Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers, Storm/Ororo Munro, Hulk/Bruce Banner

Rules:

  • Players are expected to get along in the OOC.
  • Players are expected to not God Mode.
  • Players are expected to be considerate of their character's powers in relation to the powers of other characters in game.
  • Players will be solicited by the GM for the purposes of story and action -- i.e., the GM will create prompts between characters that can be acted upon. But players can contribute ideas and suggestions in the OOC section.
  • Players will maintain a similar posting frequency with those they are playing with.

Character Bio Sample:

Captain America
Real Name:  Steven Rogers
Group Affiliation: Avengers, Invader's (Formerly)
Height:  6'3"
Weight:  295 lbs.
Arch-Enemies:  Red Skull, Crossbones, Viper, Kang, Sin, Diamondback, Ultron
Nickname:  Cap, Wingtips, Old Man

Powers:

Steve was genetically enhanced during WWII as part of a military program to combat Nazi's and such.  He is stronger, faster, and has more endurance than even the most fit of normal humans.  He has a wealth of military experience and is an exceptional leader in combat situations, maybe even the best.  Add to that, he has the best fortitude out there as soldier, willing to take bullet for any man or women he fights with.

Skills:

  • Master martial artist, spy, swordsman, samurai and tactician
  • Highly intelligent, fluent in various languages
Bio: Born in Lower Manhattan in 1922, Steve did not grow up rich, it becoming even worse when his father died when Steve was young.  He and his mother carried on however till Steve was in his teens and she died as well.

At the on set of WWII and America's involvement, Steve like many a young man tried to join up.  Due to his frail body however, he was rejected a number of times.  It was then he was selected for Project: Rebirth, a super-soldier program within the military that turned Steve into just that, a Super-Soldier.  Steve is the top end of human conditioning, and it was with that in mind that he went on to fight Red Skull during the war.  It eventually leading to him taking a rather long nap in some ice.

When he awoke it was a to world very, very different from the one he had left behind.  One fueled so much by technology and want that he barely recognized it for the America he left behind.  It was only by looking past all the dazzle of it all that he saw this was still his home and that the people it were good.  He'd be lying though if he said that this was the world he'd fought for though...So ya, Steve these days tends to lie a lot.

Captain America's Social Web:

*Gamma  No real powers or basically just superficial ones, but still clearly a superhuman (Hawkeye/Black Widow)
*Beta  Minor or Moderate but very limited power (such as winged flight). Aka heroes like Angel.
*Alpha  Moderate power(s).  Most Heroes fall into the Alpha level ( Captain America, Wolverine, Spiderman, Jessica Jones all fall in the Alpha level.
*Omega Major power(s), usually both affecting themselves and others and normally in a dynamic array. (The Hulk, Professor X, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, The Fantastic Four).

F.A.Q.

Is the game first come first serve as far as picking canon characters, or will you take the best application?

The game doesn't require writing samples.  We are all here to have fun.  However, players without a strong writing background are asked to create new characters instead of assuming the roles of canon characters.

Finally, are you going to limit players to a certain number of characters?

Players are permitted to assume one canon character, and more than one character created character.  However, be respectful to the gender ratio, and to other players.

Assuming X-Corporation counts as X-Men, I'd like to toss in for either Dazzler, Darkstar or Smasher (the Izzy Kane version.) Thoughts?

I'd like to call dibs on good old Thor Odinson. :)

Will you use a system RPG to create the characters ?

In writing, a flaw is not the interesting part of a character.  What is interesting is how a person overcomes a flaw.  I want to read how a person overcomes a flaw, not how the flaw overcomes the person.

Too many options with all those teams..I keep waffling. Could use some thoughts on it ...narrowed down to Magik or Psylocke.

Any room for the first Marvel hero to get a movie the mightiest of heroes ...

Don't laugh he is a master of Quack Fu, could have some cool tech like a Quackmobilemobile and other tech and if an alien Thor could be in why not Howard the Duck and he is a canon Marvel Superhero with a comic book series and a movie. And he has a THEME SONG! And he stopped an alien invasion!

Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff

Height: 5 ft. 7 in.
Weight: 130 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Auburn
Gender: female
Sexuality: under question with the rest of her life
Age: 32

Group Affiliation: Avengers
Arch-Enemies: Morgan Le Fay
Nickname: Wanda, Scarlet
Social Networks: Scarlet's social network is currently in complete disarray after she lost control of her powers and nearly destroyed the team.
Dr Strange: mentor/doctor, helping her recover from a mental breakdown

Background:
Wanda Maximoff was kidnapped from Serbia and brought to Wundagore Mountain, base of the High Evolutionary, she and her twin brother, Pietro, were the children of Romany couple, Django and Marya Maximoff. The High Evolutionary supposedly abducted the twins when they were babies and experimented on them, once he was disgusted with the results, he returned them to Wundagore, disguised as regular mutants.

As adolescents, Wanda and Pietro discovered that they had unusual superhuman abilities. When Django began to steal food to feed his starving family, enraged villagers attacked the Romani camp. Using his phenomenal speed, Pietro fled from the camp with his sister. The circumstances of their separation from their family were so traumatic that not until well into adulthood could they remember anything but the barest details of their childhood. For the next few years, Wanda and Pietro wandered central Europe, living off the land.

As Wanda grows into adulthood, she ends up joining various heroic organizations, X-men and various Avenger teams, serving with honor in both organizations, especially the Avengers.  And then the House of M events happening, the Red Skull trying to control her and the Apocalypse twins and Kang changing the timelines.  Now Scarlett is very confused about her origins and her past.  She was raised thinking she was a mutant but then when she and Pietro confronted the High Evolutionary, he says they are just failed experiments.  No longer knowing what to believe about her past, what actions she is responsible for, she is questioning every aspect of her life.  This confusion of who she is and where she came from opened her to Morgan Le Fey, who used her magic to cause Wanda to have a mental breakdown and nearly destroy the team.  She is currently rebuilding her life, one piece at a time.

Strength: The Scarlet Witch possesses the normal human strength of a woman of her age, height, and build who engages in moderate regular exercise.

Known superhuman powers: The Scarlet Witch possesses the power of affecting probability fields. By a combination of gestures and mental concentration, she creates a hex-sphere, a finite pocket of reality-disrupting quasi-psionic force, which upon reaching its intended target, causes disturbance in the molecular-level probability field surrounding the target. Thus, unlikely phenomena will occur. Among the many phenomena she is able to cause are: the sudden melting of gun barrels, the spontaneous combustion of any flammable object, the rapid rust or decay of various organic and inorganic materials, the poltergeist-like deflection of an object in flight, the sudden evacuation of air from a given volume, the disruption of energy transmissions and fields, and so on. These phenomena occur practically instantaneously after the completion of her hex.

Hex Bolts: Initially, Wanda had the ability to manipulate probability via her "hexes" (often manifesting physically as "hex spheres" or "hex bolts") which manipulated energy fields and matter to varying degrees. These hexes were initially short range, and are limited to her line of sight. Casting a hex would initially require a gesture and concentration on her part, though the gestures are largely a focus for the concentration. Early in her career, her hexes were unconscious, and would be automatically triggered whenever she made a particular gesture, regardless of her intent. These hexes would only manifest as "bad luck", triggering negative effects. She later gained enough control over her powers that they only work when she wants them to, and they are not limited to negative effects.

Scarlet Witch's hex-casting ability still has a 20% unreliability factor. Her sorcerous training has not given her a set of powers separate from her mutant abilities, but only honed her control over her existing abilities. She has, however, a special affinity for the natural elements and materials that true witches utilize in their spells: the four alchemical elements, wood, organic substances, etc.

Teleportation: Wanda has portrayed the ability to teleport her and others over long distances. She can also travel to and open portal or gates for different purposes. The full extent to this ability is unknown.

Telekinesis: Wanda has portrayed the ability to manipulate, propel and levitate things using her mind as well as fly or hover. The full extent to this ability is unknown.

Abilities
Expert Knowledge of Sorcery:
Wanda was trained by Agatha Harkness in witchcraft. Her sorceress training has not given her a set of powers separate from her mutant abilities, but only honed her control over her existing abilities. She has, however, a special affinity for the natural elements and materials that witches utilize in their spells: the four alchemical elements, wood, organic substances, etc.

Expert Combatant: She has also been trained in hand-to-hand combat by both Captain America and Hawkeye.

Expert Tactician: When sane, the experience and leadership skills that come from years of active duty as an Avenger.

Weaknesses:
Perception Range: Her range of hex-casting was limited by her line of sight. (She couldn't watch a live television broadcast and cause a hex-phenomenon to occur at its point of origin.)

Physical Condition: Hexes had a degree of unreliability, which was further affected by her physical condition: when well rested, in good health, and mentally and emotionally alert, Scarlet Witch could cast numerous hex-spheres in rapid succession and attain desirable results for almost an hour.

Overextension: Despite this enhanced precision, her hexes were not necessarily guaranteed to work, particularly if she had been straining herself or using her powers excessively. If overextended, her hexes could backfire, causing probability to work against her wishes or to undo previous hexes.
By accepting what is and making the best use of every situation, life can be fulfilled without a constant demand for more. --Wen Tzu

His first thought was to use his new powers for personal gain and profit, going on the late night TV Circuit as well as competing briefly as a professional wrestler. Wiccan
Real Name: William Kaplan
Group Affiliation: Young Avengers
Height: 5’8”

Wiccan is a magic user and can cast spells to cause whatever effect he wills. His early spells consisted of lightning bolts and flying which he turns to frequently. As he casts spells he levitates off the ground.

Wiccan’s magic is cast verbally and with concentration. He may need to repeat his desire multiple times depending on his familiarity with the spell or any stress he might be under. His powers will not manifest if he has hesitation. Thor
Real Name: Thor Odinson
Group Affiliation: Avengers
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 640 lbs
Arch-Enemies: Loki Laufeyson, Ulik, Amora the Enchantress, Malekith the Accursed
Nickname: Thunderer, God of Thunder, Donner, The Mighty, Prince of Asgard, Prince of Thunder

((Powers gathered from here: http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Thor_Odinson_%28Earth-616%29 and here: http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Mjolnir))

Powers:

Divine Strength, Stamina, and Speed: Born of a fusion of Asgardian and Elder God DNA, Thor possesses tremendous levels of superhuman strength, speed, and stamina. While not absolutely invulnerable, he is extremely difficult to injure, and possesses regenerative abilities. As the Asgardian God of Strength (as well as Thunder and War) his might is enough to snap adamantium or crush uru in his bare hands. His senses range as far as the edge of the Milky Way galaxy. He can move and react at faster-than-light speeds.

Weather Manipulation: The ability he's best known for. As God of Thunder, Thor is capable of summoning storms or the individual elements of weather (wind, rain, hail, etc.) at will and across vast distances. He can channel, manipulate, and release lightning from his body at will, as well as summoning it from the skies. He can release hurricane-force winds with his breath alone.

Earth Manipulation: Thor's mother is Gaea, the Goddess of the Earth. From her he has inherited the ability to cause earthquakes and fissures, landslides and avalanches on a continental scale.

Flight: Thor is capable of flight with or without his hammer, Mjolnir.

Memory Alteration: The "Gift of Forgetfulness" that enables Thor to modify selected memories in others.

Longevity and Self-Sustenance: While not truly immortal, Asgardians age so slowly that they seem immortal to others. Thor is capable of surviving the depths of space unaided, and does not require food, drink, or air. His body is a closed system.

All-Tongue: Through the All-speak Thor can communicate in any language.

Special Tools: Thor wields three special tools in addition to his Asgardian battle armor.

Megingjord: The Belt of Strength that doubles and amplifies his already divine-level strength.

Jarnbjorn: A battle axe he wielded in his youth. Sharp enough to cut through nearly any earthly substance and blessed to be able to slice through the armor of a Celestial or created by Celestial technology.

Mjolnir: "That which smashes". An enchanted uru warhammer with a short handle. Thor's signature weapon, capable of being lifted only by the worthy. When thrown, it returns to his hand unerringly. The hammer can amplify Thor's powers over the weather, enabling him to create and control truly cosmic-level storms (and even temporal storms, solar flares, and stellar winds). The hammer is capable of creating powerful energy barriers, as well as releasing blasts of intense force and energy and opening portals between spaces and dimensions. Nearly indestructible, the hammer can negate mystic energies, enable invisibility and intangibility, manipulate matter and the electromagnetic spectrum, and even has chronokinetic abilities. As a holy object, it can hurt those hurt by holy symbols.

Weaknesses: Thor is not invincible. Although his body can withstand a great deal of punishment his regenerative abilities are finite. When Malekith used Jarnbjorn to cut off his left arm, Thor could not regenerate it. Rather, his father Odin commissioned the dwarves of Nidavellir to create a prosthetic arm of black uru metal for him. He is also capable of slipping into the Warrior's Madness: a berserk state where his strength and stamina are amplified tenfold, but he cannot tell friend from foe and his own sanity is threatened.

Thor has been plagued with madness in the past. His madness took the form of a valkyrie which manipulated Thor's mind and very nearly made him a slave. It is unclear whether this manifestation of his madness could take form again, or if he could face his own fractured mind if so. His memories have been tampered with on several occasions by his father Odin, creating divergent personalities that were later merged (sometimes incompletely) with the whole.

Odin has shown the ability to limit Thor's divine abilities.

Skills: Thor has undergone extensive training to become Asgard's best warrior. He's fought for centuries, studying the techniques and weapons of many cultures over many different periods of time and amassing a great deal of practical experience. At his father's command, he has led the forces of Asgard in battle on several occasions and has the skills of a battlefield leader.

In various guises and identities, Thor has been a gifted medical surgeon and a construction worker.

Bio: Born the son of Odin, the All-Father (King) of Asgard, and the Elder Goddess Gaea, Thor was groomed for greatness from before he was ever born. As a child he was raised alongside his adopted brother Loki in Asgard's royal family. He was trained diligently in the arts of combat, and Odin tested him extensively for the worthiness to lift Mjolnir. By 20, Thor had claimed the hammer and was battling Asgard's enemies. He spent centuries adventuring in Asgard, Earth, and the rest of the Nine Realms, making friends and enemies in equal measure. He also promoted the worship of the Asgardians on a younger Earth and romanced the Lady Sif, Asgard's greatest female warrior-goddess.

His brother Loki grew to hate and despise Thor, and made it his mission in life to ruin the Thunder God and claim Asgard as his own. As one of his schemes, he manipulated some of Earth's mightiest heroes into battling the Incredible Hulk. This plan backfired, as the heroes befriended the Hulk and created the first iteration of the Avengers to handle the threats no one hero could handle alone. Thor served with distinction on the Avengers for several years and through several roster changes. He also continued to have solo adventures defending Asgard, and to team up with others of Earth's heroes, such as Dr. Stephen Strange. He took several extended leaves of absence, but continued to be an Avenger in good standing. He also had an affair with the mortal doctor Jane Foster, though that relationship ended amicably and he returned to Lady Sif.

When the Avengers disassembled following the actions of the Scarlet Witch, Thor returned to Asgard to protect it from the ongoing threat of Rock Trolls, Frost Giants, Fire Giants, the ever-scheming Loki, and more. He continues to visit Midgard on occasion and stands ready to help defend it should it need defending. He misses his old comrades-in-arms and makes it a point to check in on individual members of the Avengers as and when he can. He's also intrigued by the rumors of new heroes rising to fill the vacuum left by the Avengers.

IRON MAN
Real Name: Anthony Edward “Tony” Stark
Group Affiliation: Stark Industries, S.H.I.E.L.D, Avengers, Ultimates
Height: 6’1 (6’5 in Armor)
Weight: 225 lbs (425 lbs in Armor)
Arch-Enemies: Mandarin, Ultron, Crimson Dynamo, Titanium Man, Obadiah Stane
Nickname: Shellhead, Golden Avenger

Armor:

Mark XLVII. The forty-seventh Iron Man Armor created by Tony Stark, it is powered by the New Element Arc Reactor Mark II and uses the F.R.I.D.A.Y AI System.

Weapons:
Repulsors (Repulsion Mark III)
Unibeam
Rockets
Shoulder Mounted Mini Missiles
Lasers
Clamps
EMPs
Sonic Pulse
Light Flash
Grapple Chains

Skills: Tony has a genius level intellect that allows him to invent a wide range of sophisticated devices, specializing in advanced weapons and armor. He possesses a keen business mind.

Bio: Born in Long Island, New York to Howard Anthony Stark and Maria Stark, owners of the prominent US firm Stark Industries. As a boy, Tony was fascinated with building and controlling machines. At the age of 15 Tony entered the undergraduate electrical engineering program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and graduated with two master’s degrees by age 19. Tony went to work for Stark Industries, but showed more interest in living a reckless playboy lifestyle than using his engineering skills. At the age of 21, Tony inherited Stark Enterprises when his parents were killed in a car accident. Howard’s business partner Obadiah Stane assumed the role of interim CEO of Stark Industries until Tony officially took over the role making him the youngest CEO of a Fortune 500 Company.

Shortly after Tony built a custom mansion in Malibu, California and made an A.I system to help around the house he named the “Just a Rather Very Intelligent System” shortened J.A.R.V.I.S in honor of his late butler Edwin Jarvis whom Tony often credited to helping raise him.

While attending a field test of some of the latest Stark military hardware, the Jericho missile the group were attacked by terrorists using Stark Industries hardware. Badly injured by shrapnel to his chest Tony was captured by the terrorists. Waking to find himself hooked up to an electromagnet powered by a car battery, a man named Ho Yinsen informed Tony that the electromagnet was preventing several pieces of shrapnel from entering his heart and killing him.

The terrorists, known as the Ten Rings wanted Tony to build them a Jericho missile but Tony refused, instead working with Ho Yinsen to build a minature version of the Arc Reactor, a device his father had thought of years before in order to power the electromagnet that was saving his life. Knowing that the terrorists would kill them regardless of whether Tony built them the missile or not, Tony and Ho Yinsen instead worked on a makeshift suit of armor to help them escape the Ten Rings, using the newly invented Arc Reactor to power the suit, however transferring power from the reactor to the suit took time, realizing this Ho Yinsen took a gun and held off the terrorists to give the suit time to charge, sacrificing himself to save Tony.

Using the suit to escape the terrorists, Tony crashed in the desert a short while later after the suit literally fell apart, however not needing it anymore Tony left it in the desert and trekked through the barren land until he was rescued by his friend James Rhodes and the military.

Returning to the US after his experience with the knowledge that his technology was being used to killed US Soldiers, Tony shockingly announced that Stark Industries was no longer going to make weapons before retreating from the public eye for several months where he worked in his mansion on improving the design of his armor.

Soon after the world was introduced to Tony’s alter ego Iron Man. After battling his father’s former right hand man, Obadiah Stane, who had retrieved Tony’s original armor from the desert, having been the person who arranged for Tony’s ambush by the Ten Rings and defeating him Tony revealed to the world that he was in fact Iron Man.

Over the years Tony has built numerous variations of his Armor, improving the designs with each one. With Jarvis's matrix being merged into Vision, Tony had to create a new A.I to replace him, eventually coming up with F.R.I.D.A.Y, the first female AI Tony had ever created, who functions as both his personal assistant and Armor A.I.

After the Avengers disbanded Tony continues to protect the world as Iron Man. He is currently running against JJ Jamerson to become the next Mayor of New York.

Weaknesses

Human: Tony is an ordinary human with no superpowers and as such outside of his armor he is as vulnerable as any other human being.

Alcohol: Tony battled alcoholism for several years during darker periods of his life and although he has been sober for several years now as any recovering addict will tell you, the temptation is always there.

I'd like to drop an application if I could.

A question though, are different versions of canon characters useable? Like Colossus/Juggernaut? It's fine if not, I'm just wondering before I dive into my list of favorites.

== Character Bio ==

== Personal Information ==
Legal Name: Carol Susan Jane Danvers
Alias: Captain Marvel
Age: 32
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Part of New York Residing In: Avengers Tower

== Physical Description ==

Carol stands at about 5'11" and weighs roughly 165 lbs. She has a strong build, with a noticeable build of muscle. She's clearly a woman that enjoys her strength and fitness. She has features one might call more handsome than beautiful, but she does have her feminine allures and knows how to use them. A flat, tight tones stomach, with long, shapely legs, wide hips beneath a trimmed waist, and a modest bust. She holds herself with a military-trained discipline and posture, with confidence. Blonde hair is cut short, though at times when in her civilian persona she'll wear nearly impossibly detectable hair extensions for, well...The only reasons that matters is she does it because she can.

== Persona ==

Carol is fiercely independent and self-reliant. She strongly believes that she can do anything she sets her mind to. She is an incredibly confident and strong-willed individual, despite the mental and physical tragedies that have befallen her. She has overcome incredible odds, both personally and professionally. She has a warrior spirit and a raw willpower that, by now, has become nigh-unbreakable. This personality trait has allowed her to endure physical and mental torture and to maintain both sanity and focus under extremely stressful and painful condition.

A warrior at heart, both her human and Kree experiences have shaped her perspectives and her personality. She thinks and responds as a trained soldier and warrior. This plays a strong role in how she reacts in various situations. She can be fierce, ruthless and brutal in battle. She does what needs to be done and this militaristic determination can sometimes come across as cold and callous. She is incredibly assertive, straight-forward and downright bold. Carol entered the military due to her almost obsessive love of airplanes and her dreams of flying. Despite her fierce will power, Carol is haunted and currently overwhelmed by the tragedies that make up her life. From the loss of her emotions and original powers at the hands of Rogue to the death of Mar-vell to her current shame about her alcoholism and status with the Avengers, Carol is wrestling with a lot of demons. She has tried various means of escaping these issues, from her time in space to her drinking and is now realizing that she has only compounded her problems and must start dealing with them.

Carol’s past battle with Rogue left her with a lifetime of memories without any emotional connections to them. She remembers friends, family and lovers but feels nothing for them beyond nostalgia. Carol’s emotional reality began anew after Xavier restored her memories and she finds it difficult and awkward to deal with her own past because of this. This causes Carol to seem distant and even cold with those who she was once very close with.

== Key Skills ==

  • Super Strength: While her strength has fluctuated through her career as a heroine, she's now hit a state where the only direction she can go is up. Recent tests by Avengers scientist Hank Pym have shown that her base strength level is still increasing. Even when not augmented by any additional energy, Carol can now lift 92 tons and strike with a similar level of force, and Pym has theorized that this is likely not her limit.
  • Super Speed: She has the ability move at supersonic speeds, making her literally too fast for the human eye to follow. She can achieve speeds of at least Mach-3 during atmospheric flight and has shown the ability to hit even greater velocities when the need arises.
  • Super Agility: Ms. Marvel possesses great superhuman agility and reflexes to compliment her superhuman speed. She can perform acrobatic feats far beyond that of the finest human athlete and easily evade bullet-speed projectiles.
  • Super Stamina: She can exert herself at maximum effort for up to 24 hours before tiring. During the Skrull Empire's assault on New York, Ms. Marvel single-handedly fought off a massive Skrull invasion force for an entire day without rest, successfully keeping the city out of enemy hands until reinforcements arrived. However, she is capable of channeling absorbed energy to further increase her stamina to higher levels.
  • Flight: As previously mentioned, Captain Marvel can fly at speeds of at least Mach-3 in the atmosphere. She is a highly agile flier and can turn on a dime in midair, even while traveling at great velocity. Since she is also a talented and highly-trained fighter pilot, Carol's advanced knowledge of flight mechanics and aerial combat allows her to easily outmaneuver most opponents in the air.
  • Invulnerability:She is impervious to most forms of damage and can absorb a tremendous amount of punishment without injury. She can survive unharmed in the cold vacuum of space. She is bullet-proof and such attacks merely bounce off her skin on contact. More powerful attacks such as rockets, mortar shells, and bombs are only slightly more effectual, due to the fact that she can absorb their explosive energy. She is unfazed by blows delivered from opponents weaker than her and can withstand blows even by those who are stronger, though continuous and repeated hits by opponents of such great strength can eventually wear her down. She is also impervious to most forms of energy attack, and in fact such attacks can make her stronger (see Energy Absorption, below).
  • Energy Absorption: Captain Marvel has the ability to absorb a wide variety of energy and utilize it to further augment her own super-strength, speed, invulnerability, energy projection, and other powers. This ability was not present before Carol became Binary, and could be an after-effect of having once been Binary (as Binary, Carol could absorb and wield energy equivalent to that of a binary star system). Extremely high-energy attacks may eventually overload Carol's absorbing ability, but she has shown that she can absorb and utilize energy up to the magnitude of a nuclear explosion. Carol has also shown an ability to absorb magical energy (though not without consequence), recently demonstrated when she helped Doctor Strange defeat a formidable magic-wielding villain named Warren Traveler.
  • Energy Projection: She can generate extremely powerful photon blasts, which are roughly equal in force to Iron Man's full-strength repulsor blasts. If she has absorbed a great amount of energy, Carol can generate even stronger energy blasts. Like her energy absorption power, Carol did not originally possess this ability prior to becoming Binary, though it has now become one of her signature powers.
  • Regeneration: In the event that Ms. Marvel suffers an attack that is actually powerful enough to overload both her invulnerability and her energy absorption power, she possesses a super-healing factor and is able to quickly regenerate from almost any injury. Her healing rate is accelerated even further if she is able to absorb and utilize external energy to aid in the process. She has fully recovered from nuclear explosions and attacks of similar magnitude in a matter of hours.
  • Danger Sense: One of Ms. Marvel's original powers was a precognitive sense, called her "seventh sense," which allowed her to subconsciously recognize danger before it occurred. It was this sense that triggered her early transformations from Carol Danvers to Ms. Marvel. Her seventh sense also allowed her to subconsciously predict an opponent's attacks before they made them, greatly enhancing her fighting and tactical prowess in battle. After Carol's original powers were stolen by Rogue, her seventh sense was lost, and because it was a subconscious power, Carol was uncertain whether it had returned even after regaining her powers. Eventually, certain incidents left no doubt that her seventh sense had since been restored.
  • Minor Molecular Control: Ms. Marvel possesses a limited degree of molecular control, which she can use to transform regular clothing into her Ms. Marvel costume and vice versa. This power works almost instantaneously.
  • Cosmic Awareness: As Binary, Carol possessed cosmic awareness, much like that of the Silver Surfer. She could visually perceive all types of energy patterns and was instantly aware of any significant disruptions in space. She seemingly lost her cosmic awareness after losing her Binary powers, though like her other Binary abilities, her cosmic awareness can re-emerge under the right circumstances.

Apart from her powers, Ms. Marvel possesses many other skills and abilities that she developed on her own. Her advanced military training along with her Kree warrior skills naturally makes her a very dangerous hand-to-hand fighter. When used in combination with her many superhuman powers, she becomes a truly formidable adversary. As a CIA agent, Carol developed highly advanced espionage skills, including infiltration, surveillance, interrogation, and disguise. Traveling around the world as an intelligence agent she learned to speak several other languages, such as German and Japanese, as if they were her first language. After her time in the Air Force she became a renowned fighter pilot in the Marvel Universe, and is also skilled at flying aircraft and spacecraft built by the Kree. Her advanced flying knowledge is used to great effect when fighting enemies in the air.

Because Carol's genetic structure was merged with Captain Mar-Vell's by the Kree Psyche-Magnitron, she has intimate knowledge of all aspects of the Kree race, including their language, culture, customs, politics, and technology. Though she is virtually half-Kree, she has never been emotionally tied to them, and sometimes has gone against Kree authority on certain matters. During her time as Binary she spent considerable time away from Earth, gathering valuable knowledge on other advanced alien races such as the Brood and the Shi’ar.

A more artistic ability Carol possesses is her writing talent. She had been a freelance journalist for some time and was also a magazine editor in New York. She is an accomplished author and has published several books, including a popular science-fiction novel based on her deep space adventures with the Starjammers.

Though it is usually understated in her civilian persona since she shuns glamor in favor of more comfortable clothes, Carol is an extremely attractive woman. Blonde-haired, blue-eyed, and with a curvaceous figure, she conforms to most standards of beauty. She is sometimes drawn as more muscular and solidly built than the thinner bodies of some other heroines, which is befitting of her military background of physical fitness and training. Her beauty combined with her strength, intelligence, and willpower has earned her loyalty and affection from many people in the Marvel Universe (as well as a few crushes), though this same beauty can lead some to underestimate her (to their detriment).
== Advantages ==

She is an expert combatant in hand-to-hand fighting skill, with various forms of military training and learning through experience to back her up. Similar training has also made her a crack shot. She's a skilled and inspiring leader, able to lead teams and develop plans and tactics to account for their strengths and weaknesses. She's also not above using her beauty to her own advantage, and twisting hapless men around her finger, even if events in her life have left her with little desire for anyone with a Y-chromosome in her life. Her rather extensive and varied career has left her with a number of contacts and resources spread through various governmental agencies, from NASA to the CIA to SHIELD, will favors she can call in.

== Disadvantages ==

She can be a bit bull-headed at times, and quick to anger if she thinks someone is treating her poorly just because she is a woman. Her increasing power level can also surprise her sometimes, and it is getting harder and harder for her to adjust properly to a non-hero, civilian life when not out saving the world. She's also a (poorly) recovering alcoholic, and her moods to have a drink strike her more often than she would like, but that is a secret she keeps from mostly everyone around her. She's also, to her own discredit, still relatively hesitant to fully trust her colleagues again, after they turned her back on her and ignored her plight when she was mind-controlled and raped by cosmic entities. It's a sad day, after all, when she would honestly prefer to work with Rogue over many of the other Avengers.

== Background ==

The History of Carol Danvers
Carol Danvers was born in Boston, Massachusetts, as the only girl among three children. Despite the fact that Carol was extremely bright and capable, more so than either of her brothers, her chauvinistic father refused to pay for her to attend college, preferring to spend the money on his sons instead. He insisted that Carol merely find a good husband to take care of her, a sexist notion that the fiercely independent Carol refused to accept.

Carol had always loved the idea of flying, and after she graduated from high school she decided to defy her father's wishes and joined the United States Air Force. She excelled in the Air Force, her skill as a jet fighter pilot so remarkable that her colleagues nicknamed her "Ace," and she quickly rose to the rank of Colonel.

Carol's exemplary performance in the Air Force brought her to the attention of the Central Intelligence Agency, who actively recruited her and trained her to become an elite field agent. As an agent of the CIA, Carol often teamed up with fellow agent Michael Rossi, and the two became romantically involved. She also teamed up with a Canadian agent named Logan (before he became Wolverine) and the two became good friends, saving each others lives during several dangerous missions, and it was even implied that they may have become more than friends at some point.

On one of her most important CIA missions, Carol had to infiltrate Soviet airspace alongside Logan and an American test pilot named Ben Grimm (before he became the Thing and a member of the Fantastic Four). The mission almost failed when they were intercepted by Soviet forces (led by the Black Widow) and forced to the ground. With a good amount of luck, the three managed to escape and succeeded in retrieving the mysterious metal which they had been sent to obtain. In the process, the trio formed a bond that would live on into their super-hero careers.

During what would prove to be her final CIA mission, Carol was captured by the KGB and held in Lubyanka prison, where she endured interrogation and torture. In defiance of government orders, Logan and Michael Rossi infiltrated Russia, broke into Lubyanka, and rescued Carol. The ordeal extinguished Carol's enthusiasm for being a CIA agent, so she decided to resign in order to pursue a different career.

Carol's impressive resume landed her a position as the head of security of NASA headquarters in Cape Canaveral. There she unexpectedly made the acquaintance of the Kree superhero Mar-Vell (known on Earth as Captain Marvel) and hints of a romance developed between the two. Carol's CIA background made her quite unafraid to put herself in potentially dangerous situations, and while on the job she found herself caught in the middle an epic battle between Captain Marvel and his Kree arch-enemy Yon-Rogg. Carol, who until then had always felt herself capable of handling anything, was a mere pawn in the struggle between the two super-powered combatants, and she hated feeling so helpless. During the conflict, Carol was exposed to the explosive radiation of an otherworldly Kree device called the Psyche-Magnitron, which had the power to turn thoughts into reality but whose radiation was lethal to humans. Captain Marvel shielded Carol from the bulk of the radiation with his own body, causing Carol's DNA to absorb much of his own genetic template. Carol's lifelong dreams of flight and her sudden wish to have powers like those of Captain Marvel completed the process, and her DNA was transformed into that of a superhuman member of the Kree race.

The result was that Carol emerged from the explosion with superhuman strength and durability, the ability to fly, fighting skills equal to that of a trained Kree warrior, and a precognitive "seventh sense" that allowed her to sense beforehand when danger or a crisis was about to occur. Carol become the super-heroine known as Ms. Marvel, and her first costume was based on the red-and-blue Kree uniform worn by Captain Marvel. Initially, Carol was not even aware of her superhuman alter-ego: When her seventh sense detected a crisis, she would fall unconscious and transform into Ms. Marvel in a burst of energy. As Ms. Marvel, she had no recollection of being Carol Danvers and was convinced that she had amnesia. In turn, Carol retained no memory of being Ms. Marvel, and believed that she had merely been unconscious during that time. Eventually Carol would discover that she was in fact Ms. Marvel and her two personas became of one mind, allowing Carol to have full control over when she became Ms. Marvel and vice versa.

As Ms. Marvel, Carol quickly gained the reputation of being a formidable super-hero in her own right. She fought and defeated many super-powered villains, including Scorpion, Grotesk, MODOK and AIM, Tiger Shark, Destructor, the Doomsday Man, and others. She also acquired some persistent enemies due to her super-heroics, including the renegade Shi'ar warrior known as Deathbird and the shape-shifting mutant villainess known as Mystique. The latter plotted to destroy Ms. Marvel in secret, which eventually led to Mystique's adopted mutant daughter, Rogue, entering a fateful battle with Carol that would emotionally scar both women forever.

After a battle that briefly reunited Carol with her old flame Captain Marvel, her original Ms. Marvel costume was badly damaged. Carol decided that she had finally come into her own as a superhero, and wanted a new costume that was uniquely hers rather than being a reflection of Captain Marvel's. With some help from her friend Janet Van Dyne (the fashion-conscious super-heroine known as the Wasp), Carol designed a new black one-piece uniform with a gold lightning bolt across the chest, accented by high black boots and gloves. She kept the red scarf as a reminder of her original costume, though she now wore it as a sash tied around her waist. The costume became Ms. Marvel's signature look, and though Carol would set it aside on certain occasions (once when she became Binary, and another time when she changed her code name to Warbird), she has always gone back to this costume.

Respect for Ms. Marvel in the super-hero community grew to the point where she was asked to join the renowned super-team the Avengers, since an opening had became available with the departure of the Scarlet Witch. Carol gratefully accepted, and though the Avengers eventually became the team that she would be most closely associated with throughout her superhero career, her first stint with them would not end well.

Initially Ms. Marvel fit right in with the Avengers and proved to be a valuable team member, helping defeat a number of super-villains, including the Absorbing Man, Chthon, the Grey Gargoyle, the Elements of Doom, and the Taskmaster. She also single-handedly took down the mutant villain Sabretooth after he had escaped from SHIELD custody. During this time she forged friendships with the other Avengers and truly enjoyed becoming part of the team. Little did she know that these would prove to be her final relatively care-free days as a superhero.

The first tragedy struck when Carol's boyfriend and psychiatrist, Dr. Michael Barnett, was found brutally beaten to death in his office and all of his files on Carol Danvers stolen. Barnett had been instrumental in helping Carol come to terms with her dual identity of Ms. Marvel, and the two had grown very close. With the help of her Avengers teammate, Iron Man, Carol was able to determine that Barnett had been murdered by someone posing as Carol herself, and with further detective work, she discovered that the murderer was a mutant shape-shifter known as Mystique. A grief-stricken Carol vowed revenge on Mystique, but was unable to locate her. Mystique then sent her super-powered henchmen Pyro and Avalanche to kill Carol when she was out patrolling as Ms. Marvel. The evil mutants initially took Carol by surprise, but once she realized they had been sent by Mystique, she flew into a rage and defeated them easily.

Carol's quest for revenge on Mystique was put on indefinite hold when she was suddenly hit with a bizarre and completely unexpected condition: In less than a day, she had somehow become several months pregnant. Having not been intimate with anyone for some time, a distraught Carol explained the impossibility of her situation to her Avengers teammates, but was further upset when they merely offered their congratulations as though the pregnancy were normal. Her pregnancy progressed at a pace far faster then normal, and within a few days she had given birth to a baby boy. As he had in Carol's womb, the boy aged at a fantastically accelerated rate, growing to manhood in the course of a single day.

Calling himself Marcus, he revealed to Carol and the other Avengers that he was the son of the time-lord Immortus, and that he had been trapped alone in another dimension called Limbo after his father had disappeared. Marcus claimed that his only means of escape from Limbo was to teleport an Earth woman into Limbo with him and impregnate her with his essence, where he could be "reborn" on Earth after he sent the woman back. After much observation of Earth using his father's technology, he chose Carol for her strength, beauty, and other exemplary qualities, and had teleported her into Limbo and attempted to woo her. But Carol had initially rejected him, so Marcus admitted to using a "subtle boost" from Immortus' mind-controlling technology to make her fall in love with him, after which he coupled with her. He then wiped her mind of the memory and teleported her back to Earth at the exact time she had been abducted, so that no one, not even Carol herself, had known what had happened. The plan had worked, except that Marcus' presence on Earth was now causing unforeseen and dangerous fluctuations in the time stream. The only way to stop these fluctuations from causing irreparable harm to reality would be if Marcus returned to Limbo.

Carol found herself strangely drawn to Marcus despite all of this, and for some reason she could not bear the idea of him returning to Limbo alone. Announcing that she loved Marcus, she agreed to leave Earth to be together with him in Limbo. The Avengers cluelessly took Carol at her word and told her she was free to be with her "new love" with their blessing. Only Iron Man made an attempt to question if Carol really knew what she was doing, but he was told that all was well. Thor used his mystical hammer to open an extra-dimensional portal to Limbo and sent Carol and Marcus on their way.

Marcus now had Carol where he wanted her, but he had made a fatal error in his scheme: He had not made provisions to halt the super-aging of his new body after it reached adulthood. He continued to age at a hyper-accelerated rate and within a matter of hours had died of old age, leaving Carol alone in Limbo. Once Marcus was dead, Carol realized that she had still been under his mind control the entire time and had not been acting of her own free will when she claimed to love him or left Earth with him. Even worse, her own friends and teammates had actually helped Marcus and never once questioned his true nature or motives, despite the fact that he had essentially admitted to using mind control on Carol. With no one to help her, Carol called upon all of her ingenuity and resourcefulness to master the technology Marcus had left behind and eventually succeeded, using it to escape Limbo and return to Earth.

Once back, Carol avoided all contact with the Avengers. Still traumatized by Michael Barnett's death and her subsequent abduction and rape by Marcus Immortus, Carol decided that she simply wanted to start a brand new life, so she left the East Coast entirely and settled in San Francisco.

Unfortunately, Carol's old enemy, Raven Darkholme (Mystique), had not forgotten her vow to destroy Ms. Marvel. Mystique learned from her precognitive partner, Destiny, that Carol had returned to Earth, so she discussed the possibility of Mystique's adopted daughter, Rogue, killing Carol. Rogue was a mutant with the ability to temporarily absorb the mind and powers of whomever she touched, and therefore was Mystique's ultimate weapon.

But Destiny foretold that Ms. Marvel could destroy Rogue, so Mystique vowed to protect Rogue by finding another way to kill Ms. Marvel. As fate would have it, Rogue overheard their conversation and, anxious to prove herself, decided to go fight Ms. Marvel anyway. Rogue ambushed Carol at her San Francisco apartment, where Carol was returning from grocery shopping. Carol fought back furiously, and their battle raged all across the city. Carol fought Rogue so long and hard that Rogue's ability to absorb powers and memories became permanent in this case, rather than temporary. Once Carol was entirely drained she fell into a catatonic state, while Rogue's mind was suddenly assaulted by Carol's personality and emotions competing with her own. Desperately hoping that killing Carol would silence the unwelcome presence inside her head, Rogue threw Carol's lifeless body off the Golden Gate Bridge.

But the epic struggle had drawn the attention of the super-heroine known as Spider-Woman, who arrived just in time to witness its conclusion. Spider-Woman retrieved Carol, who was still barely alive, from the water and immediately brought her to Professor X and the X-Men. They were able to save Carol’s life and Xavier helped her recover her memories, but could not reconnect Carol to any of her past feelings. A distraught Carol realized that she had to go on with her life without her powers or her emotional connection to her memory.

Though Rogue had technically won the battle and now had all of Ms. Marvel's powers at her disposal, Destiny's prediction that Ms. Marvel would destroy Rogue proved true, in the sense that Rogue was never the same person afterward. Carol's competing personality, emotions, and memories inside Rogue's head threatened to drive Rogue insane. Because Carol was now an intimate part of her mind, Rogue also felt catastrophic guilt over what she had done to the other woman. Even her foster mother Mystique did not know what to do, so in desperation Rogue eventually turned to Mystique's enemies, the X-Men, for a solution to her condition. After many years of their help, a fully reformed and repentant Rogue would finally purge the Carol Danvers persona from her mind, but the process would be a long, hard, and often life-threatening road.

While Carol was recovering, Professor X contacted the Avengers and let them know what had happened to her. The Avengers, who had not seen or heard from Carol since she had left Earth with Marcus, came to visit Carol at her bedside, expecting to cheer her up. Instead, Carol angrily told the team off for abandoning her to a man who had mind-controlled her and violated her, even after he had essentially admitted to doing so. The Avengers left the visit hanging their heads, finally aware that they had failed to protect one of their own when she had needed them most.

Carol's recovery time spent with Professor X and the X-Men made her feel like she belonged somewhere again. Her bonding with the team was made even easier by the presence of her old friend Logan, who was now Wolverine and a member of the X-Men. Though Carol's powers were gone, she still had her considerable intellect and fighting experience, so she offered to stay and help the X-Men in any way she could. Serving as the team's ace pilot and intelligence operative, she went on various adventures with the team, including space missions.

On one mission, the knowledge of Xavier's Institute had been compromised, so Carol helped them erase their files from the Pentagon by using her previous affiliation with the military, even going so far as to dust off her old her uniform and rank to aid in the infiltration. While in the Pentagon the team came across Rogue (not yet reformed) and Mystique, who were after the same files. The Ms. Marvel-powered Rogue fought the X-Men while Carol was busy deleting the files. Mystique attempted to kill Carol once and for all, believing that her now-powerless enemy was easy prey. Instead, Carol took down Mystique with sheer anger and old-fashioned fighting skill. Once Mystique lay unconscious at Carol's feet, Carol realized that she could now take her ultimate revenge on her hated enemy, but decided to spare Mystique's life.

On a later mission in space, Carol was kidnapped by the alien race called the Brood, who performed agonizing experiments on her due to her unique genetic configuration. Logan, as he had back in Carol's CIA days, eventually rescued Carol from imprisonment and torture once again. After Carol recovered, she and the X-Men discovered that the Brood's experimentation (however unwelcome) had allowed her to attain nearly godlike power. She now possessed super-strength far greater than before, the ability to survive unharmed in outer space, and the ability to manipulate cosmic energy by tapping into a white hole.

To reflect her new power level, which was the equivalent of a binary star system, Carol adopted the new code name of Binary. She took on a completely new look, wearing a red and white costume with a pair of stars on the chest. When her Binary powers were activated her skin took on a deep red color, her hair transformed into a corona of energy, and the edges of her boots and gloves resembled flame. Since Carol now had the ability to travel the stars entirely on her own, she took a temporary leave from the X-Men to in order to explore her vast new powers before returning to Earth.

When Carol decided to rejoin the X-Men a while later, she came across Rogue, who at that moment was alone inside the X-Men's mansion. Thinking that Rogue was still a villain and had broken into the mansion, Carol immediately attacked, her first blow literally sending Rogue into orbit. Rogue, in possession of Carol's former Ms. Marvel powers and not fully realizing how much more powerful Carol now was, recovered and flew back to continue the fight. Carol's next blow sent Rogue crashing through several hundred yards of landscape. Carol might have gone on to kill Rogue in the unequal struggle, had the other X-Men not intervened and explained that Rogue was trying to reform and had recently joined the team. Carol was shocked. She could not believe that the X-Men, knowing what Rogue had done to her, would embrace her old enemy this way. Carol felt that yet another team she trusted and counted on had betrayed her. Dismayed by these events, Carol cut all ties with the X-Men and left, just as she had previously done when she'd felt betrayed by the Avengers.

Since Carol had no emotional connection with anyone, she decided to not only leave the X-Men, but to leave Earth altogether. While journeying alone through space she met and joined the Starjammers, a group of space pirates. The Starjammers came into conflict with the Shi'ar Empire and Carol defeated her old enemy Deathbird, who had returned to the Shi-ar, and even successfully took on the might of Gladiator and the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. She had now adventured all across the galaxy and had defeated so many powerful adversaries with her vast powers that she began to feel bored and alienated from all other life.

Desperate for a challenge, she later came across Quasar, who was trying to save the Earth from a crisis involving the sun expanding at an unnatural rate, and immediately leaped to his aid. The task proved incredibly dangerous even for a being of Carol's power level, and though she and Quasar ultimately prevailed, Carol was severely injured in the process. Quasar carried her back to Avengers Mansion on Earth and she spent many months recovering there, though she was unable to recover her link to her cosmic Binary powers. The Avengers, still painfully aware of how badly they had failed Carol the last time she was with the team, made every effort to do what they could for her this time around, and Carol decided to forgive them. Even after she had fully recovered, the Avengers invited her to stay. The Starjammers also visited Carol and invited her to join them once more, but it conflicted with her schedule with the Avengers, so she decided to remain on Earth.

Though Carol had lost her cosmic link to her Binary powers, she was able to regain her original Ms. Marvel powers of super-strength, resistance to injury, flight, and enhanced senses. In addition, she now had the ability to manipulate and project energy, which may have been a residual after-effect of her powers as Binary. For her second stint with the Avengers, Carol decided to change her code name to Warbird, though she kept wearing her signature Ms. Marvel costume.

Unfortunately, all of the trauma Carol had been through up until this point – her boyfriend's murder at the hands of Mystique, her abduction and rape by Marcus, the stealing of her powers and memories by Rogue, her capture and torture by the Brood, and gaining and then losing godlike power as Binary – had caught up with her and was taking a heavy toll on her psyche. True to her independent nature, she never spoke of her emotional distress to her friends or teammates, and unwisely turned to alcohol as a means of coping instead. Carol went on Avengers missions while intoxicated and often made simple and inexcusable mistakes. After a couple of near-catastrophes due to Carol's uncontrolled behavior, the Avengers eventually had no choice but to expel her from the team. Iron Man, a former alcoholic himself, then helped Carol overcome her alcoholism and stabilized her powers, and in the process their friendship deepened considerably.

After her recovery, the Avengers invited Carol back again, and she accepted. Later, she voluntarily left the team to join SHIELD and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. During this time, she set aside her Ms. Marvel costume and wore a militaristic-looking uniform with armor plating on the chest and shoulders, a costume which became associated with her Warbird code name. She also employed her expertise with dealing with super-villains to become a parole officer for the new Thunderbolts.

After the Scarlet Witch tragically went insane, she used her vast probability-altering powers to create the House of M – an alternate reality where mutants became the ruling class of humanity, while normal humans became the oppressed class. Earth's heroes were eventually able to reverse what the Scarlet Witch had done and, after reality had reverted back to normal, Carol was among the few heroes who could remember what had happened during her time in the House of M. There, she had truly realized her full potential as Ms. Marvel and had become one of Earth's most renowned and universally admired heroes, essentially becoming that reality's version of Wonder Woman. Inspired by her House of M self, Carol decided to revitalize her superhero career and become the best hero she could be. She quit her Homeland Security job and even turned down an offer to join the New Avengers. Deciding to operate as an independent superhero once again, she changed her code name back to Ms. Marvel and resumed wearing her signature Ms. Marvel costume.

During the Civil War, Ms. Marvel decided to become pro-registration, out of loyalty to the U.S. government and also to her longtime friend Iron Man, who had offered to lead the pro-registration forces. She joined a team to help enforce the Super-Human Registration Act alongside Iron Man. She worked with Wonder Man and Arachne to help train new superheroes while also hunting down anti-registration heroes.

Carol soon learned that Arachne was a double agent who was using her position to secretly feed vital information to the anti-registration forces. Carol felt that she had no choice but to turn Arachne in. As Ms. Marvel, she hunted down Arachne, defeated her in front of Arachne’s own daughter, and took her into custody. The friendship between the two women was destroyed by this encounter, and Carol had considerable regrets afterward. Arachne eventually escaped custody, returned to her daughter, and moved to Canada to become a member of Omega Flight.

Later, Carol paid a visit to a young Hispanic superheroine named Araña to convince her to register. Because Araña idolized Ms. Marvel she was happy to comply, after which Carol trained Araña to be a superhero. Unfortunately, Araña was badly injured during a mission, causing Araña's father to forbid Carol from seeing Araña again.

Rogue later paid Carol an unexpected visit. The animosity between the two women had subsided at this point, since they were now both well aware of each other's impressive super-hero careers and realized that they should be allies. However, Carol's emotional scars ran deep and she still did not fully trust her old adversary. Rogue informed Carol of a problem -- there was now another Carol, a much more belligerent one, that was being detained at the Xavier Institute. This Carol, first encountered by Beast, was an alternate-Earth version of Carol who still called herself Warbird and wore the armor-plated Warbird uniform. It was revealed that on her own Earth, Warbird became a serious alcoholic because of what Rogue did to her, and her world eventually was destroyed while she was incapable of saving it. Warbird would then be tossed to different universes before landing in Marvel's main reality (also known as Earth-616).

After meeting Warbird herself, Carol quickly became disgusted with her alternate-Earth counterpart's uncompromising and hostile attitude. A violent battle between Carol and Warbird soon broke out. Rogue tried to help, but Carol, in the heat of battle subconsciously thinking of the mutant as her old enemy again, lashed out at Rogue and broke her ribs. After Rogue was incapacitated, Warbird informed Carol of her true intentions -- that she had already traveled to many different Earths, killing both the Rogue and Carol of each Earth. Carol, appalled at how evil her alternate-Earth version had become, attacked Warbird again and defeated her. Warbird was taken into custody and imprisoned in a maximum-security facility. Meeting the alternate-Earth Warbird caused Carol to do some serious soul-searching, and she wondered if she ever truly forgave Rogue for what the mutant had done to her years ago.

Ms. Marvel then took on a familiar foe from her past, A.I.M., as M.O.D.O.K.'s son tried to blow up Seattle by using his father as a bomb. Ms. Marvel was caught in the explosion when she attempted to stop it, but completely regenerated from it.

Afterward, it came to Ms. Marvel's attention that super-powered women were disappearing around the world, with colleagues like Tigra , Stature, Dusk, Silverclaw, and even Araña included among the missing. Carol took this personally and began an intense investigation in order to locate and rescue the women. She eventually discovered that they were being held on a remote island and mind-controlled by the Puppet Master in order to build himself a slave army. Ms. Marvel attacked his stronghold, but had to battle and defeat Tigra and the other mind-enslaved women when the Puppet Master ordered them to kill her. After Ms. Marvel dismantled the Puppet Master's operation and freed his captives, he took his own life by blowing himself up. Ms. Marvel realized that she could have stopped him, but was so angered by what he had done that she had allowed the bomb to go off. She regenerated from the explosion and lied to her team about not being able to prevent the Puppet Master's suicide.

The alien being called Cru then appeared at the end of this arc, and revealed that 'she' was the reason that Ms. Marvel was regenerating, because a part of her was inside Ms. Marvel. It actually turned out that the Brood destroyed Cru's home planet, not the other way around. Cru unlocked Ms. Marvel's old Binary powers, giving her a chance to battle and defeat an old enemy, the Brood Queen. The Brood Queen killed Cru, but Ms. Marvel smartly used a bomb to make the Brood Queen explode.

Iron Man asked Ms. Marvel to lead a new government-sanctioned team of Avengers, which she accepted; the two picked a team together. During their first mission, the Mighty Avengers fought the new incarnation of Ultron. Ms. Marvel absorbed energies from Ultron during their battle; after having SHIELD scientists examine the energies, she stopped missiles from hitting New York by diverting them upwards. She then used the energy she absorbed from the missiles to stop the Sentry when he went crazy.

When the Mighty Avengers and SHIELD launched an attack on Doctor Doom, Ms. Marvel was again team leader, along with Iron Man. When the Sentry and Iron Man returned from the past, she flew to them, urging them to take cover before the place exploded. They survived the explosion and continued with the invasion. In the end, they prevailed and Doom was taken into custody.

On a mission to Japan (in which Ms. Marvel did not participate), the Avengers discovered that the assassin known as Elektra had been replaced by an agent of the shape-shifting alien race known as the Skrulls. They soon learned that many more Skrull agents, in disguise as other Earth heroes, were spearheading an imminent invasion of Earth by the Skrull Empire. It was nearly impossible to determine who might be a Skrull, resulting in Earth's heroes, already paranoid from the recent Civil War, viewing each other with great suspicion. Iron Man, as the head of SHIELD, observed secret surveillance footage showing Carol Danvers seemingly being in two different places at the same time. Iron Man told SHIELD Agent Sum that one of the Carols must be a Skrull in disguise, and had surveillance intensified on Ms. Marvel.

Back in New York, Ms. Marvel was still investigating AIM and was unaware that she had fallen under SHIELD scrutiny. She performed a routine check-up which unexpectedly yielded the location of a hidden AIM base. After a suspicious delivery truck with unknown cargo left the base, she decided to follow it rather than attack. It turned out that the truck contained a hostile alien life form, and after she intervened, she discovered that it was a Super-Skrull with the combined powers of several of the X-Men. She battled the Super-Skrull, who teleported away using Nightcrawler's teleportation power after noting that Ms. Marvel "smelled of his true prey," which was enough to help him continue on his "true mission."

Ms. Marvel thought through the people she had seen earlier that day and grew concerned that the Super-Skrull's actual target may have been an associate named William Wagner, with whom she recently had a brief romantic relationship. She urgently called him via cell phone and a surprised-sounding William answered, but before the conversation went anywhere Ms. Marvel heard him scream and drop the phone. She flew at top speed to his apartment, only to find William sprawled dead in the bedroom. As she checked William's body, Agent Sum arrived, armed with a SHIELD weapon designed to take down superhumans and threatening to shoot her if she did not surrender.

Realizing that she had been set up, Ms. Marvel thought fast and managed to escape Agent Sum, but was confronted by more of her own SHIELD colleagues, the super-powered agents Sleepwalker and Machine Man. Unable to convince them of the truth and not wanting to attack her own teammates, she flew away but was followed by Machine Man, who gave her no choice but to turn and fight. Ms. Marvel reluctantly tore Machine Man to pieces, knowing that he could easily reconstruct himself later, but was then attacked by a duplicate Ms. Marvel, resulting in much confusion. The elite SHIELD unit known as Operation: Lightning Storm arrived and, unable to distinguish which Ms. Marvel was Carol Danvers and which was a Skrull agent, apprehended both of them and took them into custody.

Carol (the true Ms. Marvel) was later freed from her cell by Agent Sum, but then her danger sense kicked in and she struck him down, believing him to be a Skrull. When he fell and didn't revert to Skrull form, she thought that she had made a mistake. But at that point the real Agent Sum entered the room, and the fallen "Agent Sum" reverted to his Skrull form -- the same X-Men-powered Super-Skrull that Ms. Marvel had fought earlier. Ms. Marvel, Agent Sum, and other SHIELD agents all attacked the Super-Skrull, eventually knocking him into the area where the second Ms. Marvel was being detained. That "Ms. Marvel" finally reverted to her true Skrull form, and revealed that William Wagner was still alive and that she had merely disguised herself as William's body in Carol's apartment in order to frame Carol. William himself later appeared and revealed that he was actually a Kree agent sent to Earth to investigate the recent activities of the Skrulls, as the two races were long-time mortal enemies.

In the core Secret Invasion storyline, Ms. Marvel flew with the Mighty Avengers to the Savage Land. Iron Man's armor became infected with a Skrull virus, so Ms. Marvel pulled Tony Stark out of the armor and flew him away to the base where the fugitive New Avengers (composed entirely of non-registered heroes) were captured on their first mission. Stark told her to leave and return to the mainland in order to gather the Initiative so they could be ready for the Skrull invasion. However, it was too late and the Initiative was scattered. Ms. Marvel, the only hero left in Manhattan to face the invasion, made the decision that the city would not be taken as long as she was alive.

The battle ensued, and Ms. Marvel fought the entire Skrull invasion force harder than she ever fought a battle in her life. In addition to the countless Skrull soldiers, she had to contend with numerous Super-Skrulls, including an unprecedented giant version that could adopt virtually any power it wanted. Despite the overwhelming odds, Ms. Marvel prevailed, almost single-handedly preventing the Skrulls from taking the city before their ultimate defeat at the hands of Earth's heroes.

Afterward, the government made Tony Stark the scapegoat of the invasion and forced him to step down as head of SHIELD. The organization was re-named HAMMER and restructured from top to bottom. Norman Osborn, a former super-villain who was now seen as a hero after the invasion, was put in charge of both HAMMER and the new government-sanctioned team of Avengers. Osborn issued a warrant for Stark's arrest, forcing Tony into hiding. Osborn then summoned Ms. Marvel to his headquarters in Avengers Tower and gave her an ultimatum: Join his new Avengers team under his command, or be considered a criminal like Stark and placed under arrest. Ms. Marvel, knowing Osborn for what he truly was, rejected the offer and blasted free of the Tower before she could be apprehended. She then joined the renegade New Avengers and was elected the team's second-in-command.

Osborn realized that the fugitive Carol Danvers, like Tony Stark, was very dangerous to his future plans. He recruited the terrorist Ghazi Rashid, an old enemy of Carol's from her CIA days, to kill Ms. Marvel. Osborn used a super-drug known as 'Ascension' to give Rashid superhuman powers formidable enough to succeed in the task. Only a short time later, Ms. Marvel encountered Rashid, who attacked with lethal force. Though she was experiencing power burnout at the time, Ms. Marvel overcame the attack and managed to defeat the villain. In the process, however, she overloaded, and it seemed that the original Ms. Marvel was now dead.

Satisfied that Carol had been eliminated, Osborn hand-picked his own team of Avengers, mostly choosing former Thunderbolts. This team became known as the Dark Avengers, since it was both composed of and led by former super-villains in the guise of heroes. He placed Karla Sofen, formerly the villainess Moonstone, in the guise of Ms. Marvel. A stunning blonde similar in appearance to Carol, Karla was suited in a variation of Carol's original red-and-blue Kree-oriented costume and became the version of Ms. Marvel that was exposed to the public eye. She took on a more brutal role of crime enforcer, killing rather than apprehending dangerous criminals. The public reaction to this new Ms. Marvel was mixed.

Some time after the apparent demise of Carol Danvers, there were various world sightings of several brightly-colored feminine energy beings, seeking special genetically engineered creations of AIM. Wherever the beings appeared, they left death in the wake of their search. While this was happening, Karla Sofen, in the guise of Osborn's Ms. Marvel, used the weapon of an AIM splinter cell against itself. In the process, she rescued an assembly of multiple telepathic genetic fetuses, engineered from both the MODOC and Storyteller protocols. She discovered that both she and the energy beings sought the "babies," and ended up doing battle with one of them.

Later, when Wolverine, Spider-Man, and even Deadpool became involved in the fight for possession of the "babies," it was revealed that these energy beings were actually Carol Danvers herself, split into all of her various Kree energy patterns. After the New Avengers helped her gather enough of the "babies" and put them together, their combined power was used to fuse Carol back into a single being, paving the way for a fateful final encounter between Carol Danvers and Karla Sofen. In the ensuing battle, Carol decisively defeated Karla and reclaimed her rightful name and role as Ms. Marvel.

Ms. Marvel later fought in the climactic struggle against Osborn's Dark Avengers during the Siege of Asgard. She arrived at the battlefield set up on the Asgardian ruins and helped Spider-Man defeat his arch-enemy Venom, who was on Osborn's side of the conflict. But during the fight, Venom's alien symbiote suit latched onto Ms. Marvel and tried to turn her into a brand new host for itself. Spider-Man helped Ms. Marvel free herself from the symbiote, which then re-joined with its human host Mac Gargan. Venom then revealed that while in connection with Ms. Marvel, it had sensed that she harbored a secret affection for Spider-Man. Angered and embarrassed, Ms. Marvel took down Venom herself and flew Spider-Man to the Asgardian battlefield to join with the other heroes. The Siege ended with the total defeat of Osborn's forces thanks to the combined efforts of all of the heroes involved, led by Captain America (Steve Rogers, back from the dead after seemingly being assassinated after the Civil War), Iron Man, and Thor.

The defeat of Osborn and his Dark Avengers ushered in a new era of Marvel history, known as the Heroic Age. The Superhuman Registration Act was repealed, and the original "Big Three" of the Avengers (Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor) decided to establish three separate teams of Avengers in order to better serve and protect the public. Ms. Marvel was once again elected second-in-command of the latest New Avengers team, led by Luke Cage and headquartered in the restored Avengers Mansion. The team's current roster includes Carol's longtime friends Wolverine, Spider-Man, and the Thing.

With the new Marvel event, Ms. Marvel became part of the Secret Avengers and was part of the group who were sent into space to try to stop the Phoenix Force from reaching Earth. Her teammates were Thor, Noh-Varr, War Machine, Captain Britain, Vision and Beast. The first time they went straight up against the Phoenix Force, they failed but the second time, Thor was able to send the Phoenix away for a time. Afterwards, Captain Marvel made his return and Ms. Marvel went with him and Noh-Varr to the Kree Empire. She showed that she is still in love with him and they kissed but also that she does not know he is not the real Captain Marvel.

During a battle with the Absorbing Man, Captain America urged Carol (who was dressed in a new costume) to take on the mantle of Captain Marvel. Hesitant, she decided to initially decline his offer. Whilst pondering her life on the fringes of the Earth's atmosphere, Carol remembered Helen Cobb; a late friend, mentor and fellow pilot who had recently passed away. Helen had emphasized the idea of being the best you could be, and not allowing anything to hold you back. With this in mind, Carol chose to take the mantle of Captain Marvel. Whilst trying to break Helen's previous flight record, Carol encountered engine failure. During her attempt to regain control of the aircraft by utilizing her powers, she lost consciousness. Upon awakening, she found herself to be in a forested area, with no memory of how she got there - or, indeed, whether she managed to avoid crashing the plane (she was unable to find a landing site). She soon encountered enemy forces, who briefly held her prisoner. Before long the enemy forces encountered the all-female Banshee Squadron—a small camaraderie of World War II soldiers—and it became apparent to Carol that she was certainly not in the present day. After escaping back to her own time, Carol was invited by Monica Rambeau, another Avenger who has gone by the name Captain Marvel over the years, to uncover the mystery which surrounded the disappearance of various ships and planes. After finding an underwater graveyard of the missing vehicles, a huge robot emerged from the water, building itself from the wreckage. After a short battle, and with the robot not yet defeated, Carol absorbed Monica in her energized state. Using the excess energy, Carol unleashed a powerful energy blast at the robot, and it was defeated.

Back in New York, Carol went about her daily routine, still tormented with painful headaches. After running a few errands, as dictated by Tony Stark, Carol goes to her doctor's appointment and is told that she has a brain lesion. As a result, she can no longer use her power of flight. (Presumably, the excess air pressure would aggravate the damage caused.) After promptly ignoring the doctor's orders when she confronted the villain Deathbird, and being knocked unconscious as a result, Carol woke up in hospital and was told that if she continues to use her ability to fly she could sustain permanent brain damage, in particular permanent and irreparable long and short term memory loss. Undeterred and eager for a rematch with Deathbird, Carol went in search of the villain, helped by Captain America's upgraded motorbike. The situation is later revealed to have been masterminded by a returned Yon-Rogg, and in the ensuing battle, Carol manages to defeat the villain, but at the cost of her memories.

Following this she enters into a romantic relationship with James Rhodes (although she would later end it without reason, though many would blame a sudden descent back into alcoholism), and later joins the Guardians of the Galaxy. After a time skip, she is also seen heading up the joint S.H.I.E.L.D./Avengers task force aimed at capturing the Illuminati. She operates as the team's field leader while Steve Rogers directs missions from a central command location. During the final Universal Incursion, Carol is one of the few heroes who manages to escape the destruction. As a result, she is one of only a handful of the residents on Doctor Doom's new Battleworld that remember the prior universe.

I dont mind hybrid colossus and x23 with venom and juggy. Makes for an interesting story.

Totoro

Blue Marvel
Real Name: Adam Bernard Brashear
Group Affiliation: Ultimates, U.S Marine Corps
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 230lbs
Arch-Enemies: Anti-Man, Evald Skorpion
Nickname: Magnificent Master, Blue Bomber, Man of Marvels
Face Claim: Denzel Washington

Physical Description: Adam is relatively tall and well built despite his age. While he is almost ninety years old his physical appearance is that of a man in his fourties or fifties. He takes care of himself and takes a reasonable amount of pride in how he appears to others, though he has very little in the way of an ego. Instead this is primarily out of a desire to appear professional and to convey his desire to find a path to peace before he will take up arms. While strong he tends to do his best to come across as a diplomat not a fighter, and dressing smartly when out of combat gear can help that.

Powers:
Level: Omega

Anti-Matter Energy Absorption: Adam Brashear is, essentially, a living anti-matter generator and reactor. This provides him with a nearly endless supply of energy and powers the other abilities he has. These include:

  • Superhuman Strength
  • Superhuman Resilience
  • Superhuman Speed
  • Superhuman Agility
  • Superhuman Senses
  • Superhuman Stamina
  • Extreme Longevity
  • Healing Factor
  • Flight

Enhanced Perception and Cosmic Awareness:Blue Marvel is capable of perceiving events in a manner similar to an electron microscope. He can process and comprehend things beyond normal humans, such as seeing and understanding beings of pure energy.

Matter and Anti-Matter Manipulation: Blue Marvel is capable of manipulating material and anti-material bonds. This includes the ability to create objects, destroy objects and even heal living beings, although the last is considerably harder and more unreliable. He can also manipulate energy from heat to light. The ways he can utilise anti-matter manipulation include:

Concussive Bolts: Powerful enough to destroy vehicles or small buildings and send humans flying.
Stun Bolts: Restrained bolts of energy these can overload a human and render them unconscious.
Energy Pulse: While it will severely weaken or cripple him Blue Marvel is capable of unleashing the vast quantities of anti-matter energy his body contains in an omni-directional pulse. This ability is devastating and has only ever been employed in absolute emergencies.

Skills:

Genius Intelligence: Adam Brashear is a genius in the field of theoretical physics and has made extraordinary strides in the study of antimatter. His capacity to see beyond what most humans can has only aided him in this field, and his powers have driven his urge to understand himself fully.

Trained Combatant: He has been trained by the US Marines in armed and unarmed combat. While most conventional combat training is no longer applicable to his capabilities the training has helped him adapt to combat situations while keeping a calm, collected attitude throughout.

Athlete: Brashear was a highly talented football player and although out of practice he still remembers how to utilise his body efficiently in anything from a sprint to a tackle.

Bio:

Adam was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1928. From a young age he had a clear, dedicated interest in the sciences. He pushed himself firmly into studying and was often considered a prodigy by teachers and his highly supportive parents. When he grew older he became a fullback at Cornell University who graduated magna cum laude. He had Ph.D.s. in electrical engineering and theoretical physics, both attained while barely into his 20's. Despite his successful studies he signed up to fight in the Korea War in his early 20's. He became a member of the Marine Corps and earned two Silver Stars. It was here he met his former best friend Conner Sims.

When he returned from the war he became the leader of a project attempting to harness anti-matter through a 'Negative Reactor' which could breach the gap between the positive matter universe and the negative zone. Ideally the energy reactor would allow the creation of truly unlimited clean energy by allowing other devices to tap what was created by a stable event horizon between universes. However after an unexpected explosion both Adam and his friend Conner were subjected to an extreme dose of mutagenic radiation by the unstable event horizon. Sims' body disassembled entirely leaving his fate unknown, while Adam stabilised as a living antimatter reactor and gained superhuman abilities.

Deciding to put his abilities to use Adam began to fight crime in a full suit of blue armor, being nicknamed 'Blue Marvel'. He was considered a hero across the nation although he was concerned at the possible reaction the less accepting members of society at the time might have to his ethnicity. Late into John F. Kennedy's presidency Adam's mask was finally damaged. The racist groups of 1962 pushed heavily for his retirement, unable to accept their hero any longer. President Kennedy offered Adam a Presidential Medal of Freedom for Adam to retire, which he accepted out of respect for the President simply trying to avoid chaos. While he retired it was less due to the demands and more due to the fact he no longer wished to protect people who didn't want his presence.

He retreated away from earth and watched it from afar for a while, before finally choosing to live among humans again. He met a S.H.I.E.L.D agent named Marlene Frazier who was set to monitor him and while he saw through it quickly he discovered they had a genuine connection and the two became lovers before marrying and starting a family, having two children. During this time Adam worked as a professor at the University of Maryland. He was genuinely happy for a while, accepting his place and enjoying family life as well as working in education.

It wasn't until several years later that Conner Sims resurfaced. He had become radically unstable after the accident and unpredictably prone to bouts of extreme violence. He committed several atrocities before Adam knew he had to intervene as the active superheroes at the time couldn't stop his old friend. After several confrontations Conner, now calling himself Anti-Man, struck at Adam's family in a fit of rage. Adam's wife who had since taken the name Candice Brashear bore the brunt of this assault, being killed while trying to defend their children. In response the ordinarily reserved and calm Adam flew into a rage, assaulting Anti-Man with all force at his disposal. After days of fighting and destruction where others could do little but watch on Adam chose to remove the both of them from this world and dragged Anti-Man far into space before releasing all of his Anti-Matter at once. The resulting overload caused Conner's energy-form to overload and collapse.

Since then Adam has gone into, and out of, retirement several times. His work has included teaching as a professor, consulting on theoretical physics and performing superhuman heroics as a now mask-free superhero, having vowed to never again hide his identity regardless of anyone else's opinion. He is happy to work alongside any team who are determined to do the right thing, as he himself is very driven and focused on doing what's right more so than what the rules say.

Might I be able to play Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow?

VoluptuousVixen

Do us a bio for Black Widow sure/then post here

WhatLiesAbove

DESCRIPTION:  BLACK WIDOW
Real Name: Natasha Romanoff
Group Affiliation: Avengers
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 115 lbs
Arch-Enemies: Bullseye, Beetle
Nickname: Nat, Tasha, Natalie

Powers:  Gamma
Skills: Top-rated assassin and spy. Proficient in the use of all hand guns, rifles, shotguns, as well as being a master black belt of Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, and capoeira. Knowledgeable in the use of poisons and hand to hand combat with a myriad of different weapons.
Bio:
Natalia...or Natasha according to official records...was born for one purpose. To be a killer. She was not always this way, of course. Born to rich parents, Natalia had been kidnapped as a toddler in order to be properly trained. Why would the government kidnap her of all people? It was an agreement that they had been forced into making during the days of the KGB. They were already married, her father was a soldier in the special forces, while her mother was an Olympian gymnast. Russia was very much interested in the genetics that could come from such a pairing.

Kidnapped, Natasha went through years of intense and sometimes brutal training. Surgeries ensured that no unwanted occurrences would happen to operatives that might affect mission capabilities, and girls were, at a yong age, given histerectomies. By the time Natasha was 12, she had already proven extremely capable with most all available rifles and handguns. With her height, it was decided that heavy weapons training would not be appropriate, and instead she would be further trained for stealth and speed.

By 15 years old, Natasha had earned the title of Black Widow, and her kill count had passed counting. However, unfortunately for her, she would soon outstay her welcome with the KGB. Having overheard a plot to take out Russian hierarchy and thus topple the Russian regime, the KGB made an attempt on Natasha's life. She escaped, and was given asylum in the United States, and was decided to be watched by SHIELD. At 18, Natasha was given a position in SHIELD, and has proved herself invaluable to their directives.

It is only recently now that Natasha has been asked to be a representative of the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division in the newly formed AVENGERS.

DESCRIPTION: Colossus
Real Name: Piotr Nickoliavetch Rasputin
Group Affiliation: X-Men/Avengers(Liason Member)
Height: 6'6[Human] - 7'5[Colossus] - Variable[Juggernaut]
Weight: 250lbs[Human] - 1 Ton [Colossus] - Variable[Juggernaut]
Arch-Enemies: Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister, Ord, Cain Marko, Magneto, the list is extensive
Nickname: Pete, Tin-Man, Metal Head, Helmet

Powers: Organic Steel Transformation - Piotr is a mutant with the superhuman ability to convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic steel-like substance, becoming not only taller, but larger as well. This substance resembling steel is of unknown composition but appears to be analogous to osmium and to carbon steel; which explains why he's so damn heavy(He weighs a metric ton). He is able to transform into this armor-like state at will (the process is virtually instantaneous) and remain in that form until he decides to revert to normal.

After an exhaustive amount of tests and studies run on him, the general consensus from people far more intelligent than he theorize that the conversion from flesh and bone to organic steel is accomplished by a psionic whole-brain interface with an ionic form of osmium, an extremely dense metal, located in another dimension. In willing the act of transformation, Colossus actually exchanges osmium atoms for his carbon atoms. The psionic interface with the other dimension re-creates all of Colossus's body in functionally similar organic ionic-osmium materials. And due to the unique makeup of his organic steel body, blood and organs seem to be replaced with a form of bio-energy that performs the same functions. The process by which Colossus gains additional mass from an unknown, perhaps extra-dimensional, force remains unknown. While he doesn't have many weaknesses, being so heavy means he has to watch his step as he can and has found himself falling through floors because they couldn't support his weight. Once he even had to shift back to his human form because the X-Jet wasn't calibrated for his weight and was performing sluggishly as a result.

Superhuman Strength - While in his armored state, Colossus possesses a colossal degree of superhuman strength, allowing him to perform feats of strength like throwing tanks, toppling or holding up buildings, and scrapping with beings with high end superhuman strength. His strength goes beyond simply lifting and punching, however, as it extends into his legs as well. Meaning aside from kicks that can cause rockslides and stomps that can cause localized tremors, he can travel by leaping through the air similar to the Hulk. As he is now the Juggernaut, he is one of the strongest beings in the world.

Superhuman Durability - In his armored form, Juggernaut is nearly invulnerable to all forms of physical harm. Bullets, energy attacks, long falls, and even attacks from other superhumanly strong opponents tend to get shrugged off. He can be hurt of course, but it takes a high amount of force to sufficiently hurt him, and any damage is healed.

Superhuman Agility/Speed - Surprising to not only him when he first discovered it, but to others as well, Colossus in his armored form is incredibly agile and fast. One would think that weighing as much as he does and being comprised of solid metal would make him slower, but it's actually the opposite. Due to his bio-energy and the efficiency of his muscles and skeletal structure being enhanced to such a degree, Colossus can move around faster than people would believe until they see it(and even then they still don't), and has often surprised opponents with his sheer speed. In fact one of his favored methods of attack is launching himself at his opponents and curling up like a human wrecking ball. As the Juggernaut, his speed has increased to the point where he can easily run at several hundred miles per hour.

Superhuman Stamina - In his armored form he is completely sustained by his bio-energy, so he has no need for food, liquids, or sleep while armored up. Also as he is made of metal, his body doesn't get tired like a flesh and blood one would, allowing him to physically exert himself for extremely long periods of time. Due to being Juggernaut, his stamina is practically inexhaustible.

Magical Anomaly - Colossus' metal body is extremely resistant, if not outright immune to most magical effects. He has proven this several times, although no one has been able to figure out the reason why. Perhaps it's simply the composition of his body. Or maybe due to the inherent magic in his bloodline(His grandfather Grigori "The Mad Russian" Rasputin and his sister), he is immune to it's effects. Whatever the reason, it has served him well. Due to his Juggernaut abilities coming from magic, his resistance has grown even stronger.

Juggernaut Transformation: Colossus accepted a deal with Cyttorak to become his Exemplar, and gained the powers of the Juggernaut. Due to him already having mutant abilities however, the Juggernaut powers ironically mutated within him. Now, with a thought, he can summon his mystical energies and channel them through his metallic form, making him far more powerful in every respect. The change is noticeable by his eyes glowing red instead of white, and the iconic Juggernaut helmet materializing around his head. He has also gained all of the Juggernaut's abilities, including nearly limitless strength, stamina, etc... Unstoppability, and even command over magic.

Skills:

Artist - While not a combat skill, Piotr has found himself to be a naturally gifted artist in a wide range of art styles. His work is so good, it received worldwide acclaim when he lost his memory and went by the name "Peter Nicholas".

Fighter - Since he was 14, Colossus has been training with the X-Men, and has spent copious amounts of time learning from people like Wolverine, Psylocke, and Cyclops. He has become particularly skilled in Judo, and his own style which utilizes his advanced agility when in his armored form.

Handyman - He would never claim to be a genius like Hank or any of the other smartest people in the world. However Piotr knows his way around mechanics and electronics and is able to build and repair pretty much anything south of the realm of "Super science".

Pilot - He is one of the certified pilots of the X-Jet.

Multi-Lingual - Piotr speaks fluent Russian, English, and German.

Bio:Piotr was born in Siberia on a large multipurpose farming community called the Ust-Ordynski Collective. It was located only a few miles away from Lake Baikal, and Piotr and the other kids would often swim there growing up(when it was warm enough). As a child, he looked up to his brother Mikhail, who had left the farm and become an astronaut of nationwide fame. And a few years after Piotr, his parents had another child, Illyana.

Peter was a devoted older brother and always watched out for his little "Snowflake". Farm life was simple and hard in a place as cold as Siberia, but it was all young Piotr knew so he had no reason to complain. And when he had time to himself, he found release for any problems in art. He would even paint for others of the collective in return for supplies or favors; sometimes he even got money. It wasn't much, but he could buy candies for himself and his sister from time to time. Life was pretty normal all things considered, but one day everything changed. He had just turned fourteen and had the amazing(not really) talk with his parents that he could do more chores around the farm, but of course he would still be treated as a child. He was a good boy though so he did as he was told.

A few weeks later, his sister was playing by the barn and a tractor got out of control. The gas pedal jammed and the steering column locked due to the cold. Illyana was still a child and was so engrossed with her dolls that she didn't notice the death machine rumbling down on her. Piotr was close by, and was already running for her before his father even got the chance to yell at him. He reached his sister, but there was no time to get either of them out of the way. Something miraculous happened though, and there was a sound of clanking metal as he suddenly got bigger. He was still confused, but remained in between the tractor and his sister until it hit him. Then nothing. It hit him and crumpled against his outstretched arms with a loud crash. Finally looking down at himself, he saw his skin was shiny and his hand prints were embedded in the front of the tractor.

His father, mother, and everyone else who saw came running over, trying to see if Illyana was okay, but also looking at Piotr. He'd crushed a tractor like it was cardboard, and now stood among them as a giant, easily six and a half feet talk. It didn't take a genius to realize he was a mutant, but instead of being shunned, he was praised as a hero. Even though he'd destroyed one of the few working tractors on the farm, his powers allowed him to do much more than a single tractor ever could. The young Rasputin enjoyed his new found popularity in the Collective, but it didn't last for long.

Only a few weeks later, Charles Xavier showed up and offered him a place at the Institute, where he could learn to hone his powers. He joined the X-Men after coming to America, and has gone on many adventures with them over the years. Eventually, to save what little was left of his sister's soul, Colossus took the Gem of Cyttorak into himself and accepted the mantle of Juggernaut. It was those powers that helped the X-Men prevail over Magneto, although they couldn't save the school. With mutants in general, and especially the X-Men under such strained relations with the rest of the world, Colossus was offered to the Avengers to promote unity, working as a full-fledged member of the Avengers as a liason for the X-Men. To prove to SHIELD and the world that not all mutants are bad.

#58
DESCRIPTION: Hawkeye
Real Name: Clinton Frances "Clint" Barton
Group Affiliation: SHIELD / Avengers
Height: 6'
Weight: 200 Pounds
Arch-Enemies: Taskmaster, Trickshot, Sagittarius, Supreme Scientist Monica Rappaccini of AIM, The Deathbird
Nickname: Clint, Ronin

Powers: Hawkeye is often considered the quintisential Gamma hero. He has no powers, but he is considered one of the finest archers the human race has ever produced. So while he has no powers he does have and used some very specialized equipment.

Hawkeye's Bow - An entirely custom bow for Hawkeye's personal use, to many people's surprise he uses a 250 pound draw weight, roughly 5 times the draw weight used by olympic athletes. A non-powered person trying to use his bow usually can't even pull back the string to loose an arrow, let alone be able to use it with anywhere near his proficiency.

Hawkeye's Quiver - A high tech marvel created by SHIELD, Hawkeye can speedily store, dial in, and attach various arrow heads for the task at hand. With this on his back, Hawkeye can switch between conventional arrows, explosive arrows, grappling line arrows, and several more types in what seems like a moment's notice.

Skills: Hawkeye's reputation preceeds him for his skills, what he lacks in actual powers he makes up for in training and skills. He doesn't have super-strength, laser eyes, or anything like that. What he has looks like something that can be bought from a sporting good store - until you see it in action.

The Man That Never Misses -  While he has no powers, he does make a habit of spending at least two hours a day specifically practicing and keeping his skills honed. As such Hawkeye most well known trait is that he's one of the best Archers the human race has ever produced. With a bow and arrows he's been known to loose several arrows in a few seconds all with near-perfect accuracy. Lesser known about him is that he also has a comparable level of accuracy and precision with the use of other weapons as well including but not limited to throwing blades, bolas, balls, and boomerangs. At this point it's assumed that if a weapon can be thrown or aimed, he can use it with frightening efficiency. Rumor even has it that once he was captured by HYDRA and he escaped via ripping off and flicking his own fingernails for ammo.

Circusfolk - Literally raised in a circus, Clint Barton is a lifelong carny with the mouth and hands to prove it. Before being recruited by SHIELD he was a con-artist with a criminal record and a surprisingly effective one. Tactics came naturally in his training, and he's much more agile then people give him credit for thanks to a family of Acrobats. His skills as a con-artist means he may not be an orthadox spy and assassin, but he makes a shockingly good one.

Hand-to-Hand - Going in Melee doesn't really save opponents from Hawkeye either. While not a Captain America level hand-to-hand fighter he does have his deeply honed reflexes and hand-eye coordination, allowing him to at least effectively use any melee weapon he can get his hands on. He's also been trained extensively in multiple martial arts forms thanks to SHIELD.

Polyglot - Clint Barton can speak multiple languages fluently; the full list is unknown but known to include English, Italian, Russian, and Cantonese.

Bio: Clint's deepest, darkest secret at this point seems to be that he was born in Waverly, Iowa but was orphaned at a young age, his parents dying in a car wreck due to his father's alcoholism. Hating the orphanage, he literally ran off to join the circus - Carson's Carnival of Travelling Wonders to be precise. Looking back, it should of been more obvious to him that the carnies were also criminals that frequently robbed and stole from the towns they visited but he didn't catch on for a while, not until well after the lessons started. He was going to be just a roustabout, unskilled laborer, but the carnival's show archer was impressed by a display of reflexes and thought Clint had the raw potential to take over the act for him when he retired.

His mentor would later become known as the assassin-for-hire known as Trickshot, and Hawkeye absorbed the training well. Their relationship didn't end well though as Trickshot started taking hits and Clint didn't take to the new murder-for-hire angle of the training. Leaving the circus, Clint drifted surviving on his skills as a con-artist and when needed an archer. When, exactly, SHIELD picked him up is classified - but he will tell you it happened when he managed to run a con on an undercover SHIELD op, and showed enough skill with thrown weapons to survive the consequences. Apparently Nick Fury is a fan of "trial by fire" job interviews, and the old adage "sometimes it takes a thief to catch a thief".

Clint served with SHIELD for years, but when the Avengers formed he switched almost immediately. He's been an Avenger for years as a result, joining only a few months after Captain America was unfrozen and joined up. Why? Because maybe he wanted a morally unambigous fight for a change. Clint's used to being a bit grey himself but really, maybe sometimes the White Knight should win for a change. And he's been an Avenger for years if not always in good standing.

Until 6 months ago. Funny, he doesn't even remember who it was anymore. The Masters of Evil, maybe? Good ol' Hydra? Doesn't really matter. He just knew that he got tagged real bad. It's hard to remember who it was with, but he was battered and bloodied. Slipping in and out of consciousness, Clint Barton's body was never found after the battle and in the chaos and the wreckage it was believed that the Hawkeye was dead. With broken bones, a concussion, and other injuries he didn't want to think about Clint limped away to an old SHIELD safehouse, one that apparently get shuffled out of existance in a paperwork mix-up. Which was fine, it gave Clint time to treat his injuries and heal.

The world thought Hawkeye was dead. There was a funeral and everything. He missed it, it took some finesse work to even get power to the safehouse working. It took months for the bones in the leg to heal, another month get train himself to walk without a limp, another one to get his skills back up to the point that he felt confident enough to be seen in public - all that adds up. When he say that there was a new Hawkeye to replace him on the Avenger's roster, he was tempted to just take the oppurtunity to slip back into the shadows.

Two months ago he helped take down Baron Strucker with the Avengers, officially letting them know that he was still alive. Sometimes he wonders how the Avengers and the World have lasted so long without him. Once an Avenger, eh? That was the secret of saving the world, do it once and the world thanks you for it. Every second of every day.

But while Hawkeye's back he's got a secret. The head injuries have re-aggrevated older ones. Now his hearing is suffering for it, and his hearing is coming and going. Now his hearing fluctuates from anywhere in between perfectly fine to about 80% hearing loss. He's taught himself to read lips so he can fake it for now. Maybe the old con-artist can hide it from the Avengers for a while, maybe even forever. Because they're not kicking him off this team after all the shit he's been through.

Besides, this Bishop kid. He's got to make sure she's worth the Hawkeye name after all. Jesus, she should be playing with Barbies, not Bows and Arrows...

His vision extends into the ultraviolet and infrared areas of the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing him to see in near-total darkness and retain the same level of clarity. T'Challa's hearing is similarly enhanced, enabling him to detect sounds normal humans can't and sounds they ordinarily could but at much greater distances. T'Challa can memorize tens of thousands of scents. His sense of smell enables him to recognize people/objects by scent, even if they are well hidden. He can track a target by scent and track them to the exact location, can smell fear, and detect if someone is lying by change in body odor. T'Challa's sense of taste is sensitive to the point that he is able to taste the exact ingredients of any particular food he is eating.
•   Superhuman Strength: T'Challa has received a blessing from the Panther Goddess Bast, which elevated his strength to superhuman levels. His physical strength is between 800 lbs and 2 tons; although the full limits aren't known.

His combat speed seems more enhanced then anything else, as he has frequently kept up with other enemies in combat, and blitzed people before they pull their trigger fingers.
•   Superhuman Stamina: T'Challa's body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing poisons in his muscles and his musculature generates considerably less fatigue toxins than the muscles of an ordinary human being, granting him superhuman levels of stamina, exceptional endurance, and lung capacity; in all physical activities. His lung capacity is at peak human level enabling him to hold breath for 6 minutes underwater, making his lungs as healthy as human's lungs can get. He can physically exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue toxins begin to impair him.
•   Superhuman Durability: T'Challa's skin, bone, and muscle tissues are augmented to levels that are considerably stronger and harder than human and the tissues are impervious to injury to an extraordinary extent.

•   Superhuman Agility: T'Challa's agility, balance, flexibility, dexterity, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of an Olympic gold medalist. He has the combined agility and acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished circus aerialists and acrobats.
•   Superhuman Reflexes: T'Challa's reaction time is superior to that of any Olympic athlete that has ever competed. His reflexes are so efficient that he can dodge and deflect point blank gun fire, dodge bullets from machine guns and sniper rifle.

Skills:
Genius Intelligence: T'Challa is also a polymath genius and has an eidetic (aka photographic) memory. His genius is as such that he is one of the eight smartest people on Earth.  He possesses accomplishments such as a PhD in physics from Oxford University. He also combined alchemy with science to create a new scientific field called Shadow Physics, a dangerous discipline which allowed him to track Vibranium on a quantum level, craft weapons which would be particularly effective against Vibranium, and create an unstable teleportation device which at the time ripped apart anyone using it with great healing ability.
Master Martial Artist: He has been groomed to be a warrior from birth. An expert in practically all forms of armed and unarmed combat, and a master of all martial arts including African and unknown forms. He is a master of stealth, disguise etc. He is considered to be one of the best martial artists to have ever walked the Earth. This is evident by him being able to stalemate and even gain the upper hand at times against opponents such as Captain America, Daredevil etc. in hand to hand fights to an extent that in his full potential, he was able to defeat Captain America in a few moves, and overpower Wolverine twice without much difficulty, even when Wolverine was using his claws. Captain America himself said that when he won one against T’Challa, T’Challa was not his usual self, seeming weaker than he actually was. He was shown to be skilled enough to defeat the skilled combatant Karnak with a single blow to the head.
Weapons Master: The Panther has mastered all known weapons
Master Acrobat: T'Challa is a rigorously trained gymnast and acrobat.
Expert Marksman: He is a master marksman adept with hunting knives, firearms, and other projectile weaponry.
Master Tactician: T'Challa is a genius tactician, strategist, and leader who is practically peerless. He was taught tactics and strategies in his youth by his father who encouraged him to always think two steps ahead of his enemies and three steps ahead of his friends. His prowess is such that he is able to out think and out maneuver individuals such as Tony Stark, and other geniuses.
Expert Tracker & Hunter: Even without his superhuman senses, he is a master tracker and hunter. He can pick up a prey's scent and memorize tens of thousands of individual ones.
Multilingual: T'Challa can fluently speak his native language, English, and other various languages.
Master Inventor: He can invent various devices with special properties when needed. While not all of his inventions are as good as others made by Tony Stark and so on, he possesses engineering abilities and intellect that makes him a peer and has proven to be able to invent and create weaponry that rivals their engineering capabilities. T'Challa can also duplicate practically any other technologies after learning how they work or by glancing at the designs.
Highly Influential Connections: As king of Wakanda, the Panther has access to a vast collection of magical artifacts, technological and military hardware, as well as the support of his nation's wide array of scientists, adventurers, and superheroes.
Diplomatic Immunity: As the leader of a sovereign nation, He often visits the United States or the United Nations for political reasons. He enjoys diplomatic immunity during these trips, and his embassy is considered foreign soil.

Equipment:
Kimoyo Card: An extremely powerful and versatile PDA. It functions similarly to the Avengers' communicards, but with many more practical applications. In one instance, the Panther called up a schematic of a jumbo jet's cockpit controls and took command of the plane, landing the plane safely in a river. "Kimoyo" is Bantu for "of the spirit".
Black Panther Suit/Panther Habit : As chieftain of the Wakandan Panther Clan, the ruler is crowned with a ceremonial regalia in the form of a Vibranium laced panther habit. T'Challa received this crown-like garb after being judged by the Panther Goddess. The appearance of the suit has changed over time, but has retained its abilities; This uniform has the ability to absorb vibrations via its Vibranium lacing, it can negate and/or lessen powerful kinetic based attacks such as bullets shots, penetrating blades, and crushing blows. The lenses in the mask cut glare and enhance the Panther's natural night vision, then lenses also allows him to see in infra-red and other visual spectrum. The suit features:
•   Vibranium Microweave Mesh: The microweave robs incoming objects of their momentum; bullets do not ricochet off, but simply fall to the ground when they come in contact with the weave. Likewise, the Panther cannot be stabbed; however, the costume can be cut if the attacker slashes along the uniform's grain.
•   Anti-Metal Claws: Claws in the gloves are made of Antarctic Vibranium-based "Anti-Metal" that can break down basically all metals at the molecular level. The claws also have the ability to emit small energy blades from the tip as well as launch them as projectiles.
•   Energy-Dampening Boots: Energy regulators create varying fields from the Vibranium in the molded soles of the boots, enabling Panther to survive a fall of several stories and land like a cat. Given enough momentum, the Panther can also scale walls or skim across water. The field can be also used offensively to shatter or weaken objects, or defensively to rob incoming objects of their momentum as shown when he stopped a car thrown by the hulk from crushing him by using the Vibranium in his boots.
•   Cloaking Technology: The cloak can be elongated, shortened or eliminated with a thought, and the entire costume can be covered allowing it to pass as normal street clothes or render T'Challa completely invisible.
•   Teleportation device: T'Challa has also been shown using a teleportation device as part of his standard gear. The range is not known as of this moment.
•   Hard-Light Shielding: T'Challa was shown using a small shield comprised of hardened light, to defend himself and others as part of his standard gear.
•   Vibranium Energy Daggers: Energy constructed blades, the wielder has the ability to gauge between power levels, releasing a beam, powerful enough to slice through various structures and foes. This weapon can also be fired as a projectile. Energy daggers are T'Challa's default weapon of choice in armed combat situations.
Heavenly Armor: Lightweight body armor covering the user from head to toe in a similar fashion as Iron Man that operates by thought. It offers flight at high speeds, enhanced strength, and more protection in combat. The armor provides protection against mystical attacks and is equipped with various weapons.
Transportation
•   Sky-Cycle: T'Challa has access to an advanced version of the Sky-Cycle.
•   Advanced Wakandan aircraft.
•   Weapons
Ebony Blade
•   Other weapons: Swords, spears, shields, knives, clubs, bows, quivers and arrows. A large variety of firearms and other weapons used for close range, as well as technological weapons and devices such as a large 'power glove.

Bio:
He gained a Ph.D. in Physics from Oxford University.  He came back to perform his duties in his tribe to become a man to lead the country. He was sent to find the sacred Heart-Shaped Herb, whilst searching he was captured by A.I.M., B'Tumba was ordered to execute his friend, but since he couldn't do it, he freed T'Challa and joined him in battling the A.I.M. soldiers. During the combat, B'Tumba was fatally wounded, and after A.I.M. retreated, he apologized to Black Panther before dying.
After beating the then current Black Panther and taking a Heart-Shaped Herb to link him to Bast, the Panther God, the herb also enhanced him which made him almost superhuman as T'Challa became the new Black Panther, leader of the Panther Clan, and King of Wakanda. As one of his first acts as King, T'Challa excommunicated his adopted brother, Hunter. As the White Wolf, Hunter had decades earlier assumed leadership of the Hatut Zeraze ("Dogs of War"), zealous patriots who acted as the Wakandan Secret Police, performing acts of sedition, counter-intelligence, and assassination against the countries presumed enemies. T'Challa would not be a king who tolerated such actions, and so he officially disbanded the Hatut Zeraze, although in reality the Dogs and Hunter merely left Wakanda to operate on their own abroad.
Being King continued to bring up new difficulties when a tribal war commenced in Wakanda. T'Challa was forced to take sides in the war, choosing Dora Milaje over the Jabari Tribe for his secret service agents as well as his harem. The more Wakanda became a technological global power, the more T'Challa realized the threats of the outside world.

DESCRIPTION:  CODE NAME Wasp
Real Name: Hope Van Dyne-Pym
Group Affiliation: Avengers
Height: 5’2”
Weight: 130 lbs
Arch-Enemies: Absorbing Man, Aries, Beyonder, Blob, and various others..
Nickname: Hopey

Powers:
•   Size Reduction: Due to long-term exposure to Pym Particles, The Wasp could reduce herself in size, down to the dimensions of the insect from which she takes her name, roughly 1/2 inch in height. She usually chooses not to retain her standard density while at this reduced mass, but can choose to do so at will. The "lost" mass is shunted to a pocket dimension for later retrieval. Additionally, her strength was boosted while she is at reduced size, to the extent that she can bend a one-inch diameter steel bar almost double. Her size allows her to be easily unnoticed in most cases, allowing her to become stealthy in some cases.
* Bio-Synthetic Wings: Due to small implanted insect wings, the Wasp could fly at incredibly fast speeds. These are functional when she reduced herself in height, and can remain so until reaching a height that is a nearly foot shorter than her normal height. Her flight speed can also allow her to gain a form of superhuman reflexes and agility, being able to easily evade targets and attacks.
* Wasp's Sting: The Wasp could generate powerful bio-electric blasts from her hand that have been shown to be capable of cutting through high-density structures and is able to cause extreme pain to superhumanly strong and highly durable beings and can pierce their skin.
* Insect Communication and Control: Through the use of her retractable antennae, the Wasp could communicate with and control certain higher insects, in a manner similar to Ant-Man's Helmet. She rarely chose to utilize this ability, however.
* Size Addition: In addition to being able to shrink, Wasp could grow significantly in size as well. The growth process requires the rapid acquisition of bodily mass, presumably from an extra-dimensional source. This extra-dimensional mass fortifies all of her cellular tissues, including her bones and muscles, enabling her to support her increased weight, and giving her superhuman strength. Perhaps due to the bodily strains that her ex-husband Hank experienced as a side-effect of such powers, Janet uses this power only in emergencies, preferring to shrink to her wasp-sized form.

Skills:   Multilingual: Can speak fluent English, Spanish and Hungarian. She has also taught herself to speak the language of the Microverse.
Expert Combatant: Adapted to a special kind of hand-to-hand combat that was created by her father Hank Pym, which takes advantage of the fighter's insect size against a much larger form and physique enabling them to strike pressure points before the opponent even realizes what happened. She was also trained in multiple martial arts and unarmed combat fields by Captain America, making her into an adept combatant.

Bio: Hope was originally estranged from her father Hank Pym, and just to spite him for a while dropped his last name keeping only her mother’s Janet van Dyne's maiden name. Hope was the business partner of Darren Cross until it was discovered he was not only insane but observed with destroying her father.

She took up her mother’s mantle and became Wasp. She’s been seen as the sibling like friend to most of the Avengers so its easy to spot her with them.

And here we get Captain America, played by somebody who has never read his comics, nor seen Avengers, Avengers 2, nor Captain America: Civil War. This ought to be interesting.
