System Game: Call of Cthulhu or Derived-from-the-system game?

I recently got hold of Call of Cthulhu 6th edition and the Basic Roleplaying System 4th Edition by Chaosium (company making CoC 6th) after playing a game using the system at a recent anime convention I attended.  I would LOVE to play a game with someone in this system, VERY open to details, but would prefer to NOT be the primary ST/DM/GM/etc in the game since I am learning the rules.  Prefer, but that may be negotiable.
