WWII RP (F for M)

Are you a military history buff? Just a fan of historical rpgs? Well I have an idea. I would love to play an rpg based in WWII that would take place around a squad of pilots and a nurse assigned to the base. There are loads of different angles to take with this story and I would love to hear yours. As for me the thought is that your character is a pilot who was just reassigned to this squad to run raids over a ball bearings factory in Germany. My character is a nurse who has been there for a few months. They meet one night at the local bar and a romance blooms amidst the terror of war. 

Another idea is that they aren't strangers but they knew one another back home. Perhaps they were sweethearts but broke up? Perhaps she is friends with his little sister? Just some ideas. I would love to hear what your thoughts on this story is and ideas for your character. It's a pretty straight forward romance type story so it won't have a bunch of kinks.
