OKOK I apologize if this isn't as pressing of an issue as some of the other things here, but I figured I'd at least shoot my shot.

So, I know I had already been given a tutorial for things to do now that I've been accepted (thank y'all so much for that btw :D), but even then this whole place is, for lack of a better way to put it, overwhelming.

Not that I'm not interested anymore, I think I just need some guidance on how to really get started with things, whether that be the roleplaying or just general chatting, as as of right now I'm just terrified of messing anything up lmao.

Start slow! :) Yeah it is insanely overwhelming due to size, so ignore most of it and focus on small parts.

Good things to do at the start is set up an On/Off thread. https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php#c3 Leads you to the on/off folders. So take a look around on how others did theirs for inspiration, and then in the Legate group make your own. It doesn't need to be super fancy you can always go back and edit it. Most of us are fiddling with ours all the time.. hmm bad phrasing but eh :D

Next you can take a look at the various story ideas people have. https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php#c15 Leads to both the single and group folders. In general people don't like for you to reply to their threads, so instead send them a PM. You can also put up your own if you wish.

Also things you can do, you can browse the various chatty threads. It is a good way to get your name out there and meet people. I find most of my stories that way.

https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?board=363.0 Has lots of fun silly threads you can waste a lot of time in.

My own personal haunt is https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?board=428.0 the various picture threads. It is a good way to find people that like what you do. :)

Did any of that help?

The important thing is, go slow, browse around. E is massive and old by now so there is sooooo much info out there. When I was first approved I think it just overwhelmed me and i just was silent for months as it was too much. So don't feel bad.

Thank you so much!!

All of these are actually very helpful, so I genuinely do appreciate you helping me out!!

Thank you again :D

Yay glad to hear it helped. And do not be afraid to ask questions either here or if you are one of those strange discord people. Most of us don't mind answering questions.. and now watch me be proven wrong and no one else chimes in.. *glares at everyone*

It can be a little overwhelming getting started, but for me, I started out with making an Ons and Offs page, introducing myself in Lieges Only, and then making a request thread. A lot of the rest of the stuff can wait until your ready.

Oh and since you appear to be a Legate, you would introduce yourself in Legates only should you choose to.

If you need any help with setting up and Ons and Offs page there is a great tutorial for it under the Ons and Offs links.

Also one thing not mentioned is staff is always there for questions too. And a lot of the established members as you have found love helping out new members. If you need any help or anything I'm also offering my PM's.
