"...for many years the only people to arrive in the city were evil."

Was it a 'normal' version of NYC, in which evil otherworldly travellers suddenly began appearing?

How long ago did the evil visitors start appearing?

How long is it since heroes began turning up?

It was a normal city, and then ended up transported, and then powered people began showing up.

I didn't put an exact time, but you can assume it's been decades since the first ones. Enough time for evil to have total control.

Heroes are newer, I didn't put an exact date because I wanted to let writers have some leeway. Maybe their character has been in hiding, etc.

Esoterica

Just popping in to say, as discussed, I am onboard for this game, and I will be making an app for Buffy and Pinhead.

Also so people know, the plan is to really nerf Pinhead and people will choose to interact with him, we are not going to have Pinhead just go around killing everyone. He will be like a Sage somewhere in the city where people can come and get things they need from him, for a price, and that is the concept we were going to go for.

I'm going to be claiming Malekith the Accursed, Dark Elf conqueror, sorcerer and maker of a pretty decent iced coffee....

He also runs the underground portions of NYC, including the subways and those tunnels under Central Park.

Come visit him.  Your journey starts at Grand Central, although it will not likely end there.

LOOK ON MY WORKS, YE MIGHTY AND DESPAIR.

There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.

Name: Lara Raith (The Dresden Files)

Codename: The Seductress (informally, due to her ability to manipulate and feed on emotions, particularly lust)

Age: Appears in her early 30s, but she is several centuries old, having been born in the 16th century.

Species: White Court Vampire
The White Court vampires feed off human emotions, particularly lust, and manipulate people to maintain control over them. Lara is a member of the Raith family, one of the most powerful of these vampire families.

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
Lara does not adhere to traditional norms and is capable of manipulating emotional and physical attraction in a way that transcends gender and sexuality. She views sexual relationships as a means to an end rather than emotional fulfillment, using them to feed and gain power.

History:
Lara Raith is the daughter of a prominent White Court vampire and has inherited both her family’s wealth and its darker ways. Born into a family obsessed with control, power, and manipulation, Lara was raised to understand the complex interplay of human emotions and how to feed off them. Unlike many of her kin, who revel in chaos and indulgence, Lara has a somewhat more controlled and disciplined approach to her nature, choosing to feed selectively, without unnecessary violence or disruption.

While her family holds vast influence over the supernatural and political worlds, Lara has a more personal connection to the human side of things. She is known to use her emotional control for more subtle purposes, such as influencing politics, business, and the personal lives of those in power. Over the centuries, she has forged many important relationships and has become an influential figure in both the supernatural and human realms.

How You Got Here:
Lara has worked her way into power through a combination of charm, manipulation, and a keen intellect. She has taken on several high-profile roles in business and society, often operating behind the scenes to shape events in her favor. In the world of vampires, she has earned a reputation as someone who can maintain control of even the most unruly of emotions—something that has allowed her to outlive most of her competitors. Her entrance into the political and business realms was gradual, gaining influence with both human elites and the supernatural community, including her fellow White Court vampires.

Personality:
Lara is calm, calculating, and highly disciplined. She exudes an air of serene confidence, and while she has a charismatic and seductive presence, she is not easily swayed by emotion or impulse. Lara is not as indulgent as some of her White Court kin and prefers to manipulate from the shadows rather than draw attention to herself.

While she can be charming, she is also incredibly intelligent and perceptive, with a knack for reading people’s emotions and desires. Lara is fiercely protective of her family’s legacy, and while she can be amiable, she is never naive. She values loyalty, both to her family and her allies, though she has no qualms about betraying others when it suits her goals. Her compassion, however, is limited—she sees most people as tools, pawns in a larger game, and uses her understanding of human psychology to subtly control them.

Appearance:
Lara is a striking figure, standing tall with a graceful and commanding presence. Her platinum blonde hair cascades in sleek waves, framing her sharp features—high cheekbones, a sculpted jawline, and full lips that shift from a playful smile to something more dangerous. Her amber eyes are intense, capable of both piercing through a person’s soul and exuding an almost hypnotic seduction. Her skin is porcelain-smooth, with a subtle warmth, and her physique is tall, lean, and toned, exuding the effortless elegance of a model while moving with fluid grace and quiet power.

Her wardrobe is a reflection of her status and seductive nature—tailored, high-fashion outfits in rich, deep colors that enhance her beauty without being overtly provocative. Whether in elegant dresses or sharp suits, Lara dresses to captivate and dominate, showing just enough skin to keep her allure potent but never crossing into excess. Every movement she makes, from the tilt of her head to the way she crosses the room, exudes sensual confidence. With an aura that combines sophistication and danger, Lara effortlessly controls those around her, drawing them into her spell with each glance

Faceclaim: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Powers / Skills:
  • Emotional Manipulation: As a member of the White Court, Lara can manipulate and feed on the emotions of others, particularly lust, desire, and arousal. She can create intense emotional responses in those around her and use those emotions to manipulate them to her advantage.
  • Charm and Seduction: Lara is an expert at reading people and using her charm and beauty to gain influence. She can draw people in with her allure and subtly bend them to her will without them even realizing it.
  • Vampiric Strength and Speed: Like all vampires, Lara possesses enhanced physical abilities, including strength, speed, and heightened senses.
  • Immortality: Being a White Court vampire, Lara is effectively immortal, aging very slowly and recovering from most injuries quickly.
  • Psychic Resistance: Lara is highly resistant to psychic manipulation and mental intrusion due to her family’s bloodline and her own training.
  • Strategic Thinker: Lara is highly intelligent, with a mind for politics, business, and social manipulation. She excels in the art of long-term planning and plays the game of influence with a subtle but deadly touch.

Ons & Offs:
  • Ons:
    • Emotional power play (subtle manipulation of emotions)
    • Authority and control
    • Charisma and charm
    • Strong personalities, especially those who can resist her influence at first
    • Intellect and wit
    • Sensuality and physical attraction (without emotional attachment)
    • Fine art, luxury, and the sophisticated indulgence in the pleasures of life
  • Offs:
    • Weakness (both physical and emotional)
    • Lack of self-control
    • Uselessness or incompetence
    • People who try to control her or dismiss her abilities
    • Violence without purpose or chaos for the sake of chaos
    • Disrespect or insolence towards her family or allies

Captain Whitebread

#7
Name:Malekith
Codename:The Accursed
Age:Ancient
Species: Dark Elf of Svartalfheim
Gender:Male
Sexual Orientation:Heterosexual (considers humans to be beasts)
History: I have a long and glorious history of betrayal, starting with my own mother and savage conflict, starting with trolls and ending with the very Gods of Asgard, may their bones choke the worms that devour them.
How you got here: I have always been here
Personality:Bitter, distrustful, ambitious, vengeful,
Appearance: 7 feet tall, with blue skin and flowing white hair.  His eyes are white and the left side of his face is black
Faceclaim: NA
Powers / skills:Dark Elf Physiology: Malekith possesses various superhuman attributes, some of which are common to his race.

Superhuman Strength: like all Dark Elves, Malekith possesses superhuman strength. Ordinarily, Malekith possesses sufficient strength to lift about 10 tons without supplementing his strength with his other powers. However, while using his other powers, he is able to increase his strength to the point where he can lift up to 90 tons.

Superhuman Speed: Malekith can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of even the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Stamina: Malekith's musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. He can physically exert himself at peak capacity for up to 24 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.

Superhuman Durability: Malekith's body is tougher and much more resistant to physical injury than the body of a human. Malekith can withstand powerful impact forces, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, falls from great heights, and powerful energy blasts without being injured.

Superhuman Agility: Malekith's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Reflexes: Malekith's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.

Extended Longevity: Malekith, like all Dark Elves, possesses a greatly extended lifespan and ages at a much slower pace than humans. He is also immune to the effects of all known Earthly diseases and infections.

Regenerative Healing Factor: In spite his his body's increased durability, it is possible to injure him. However, Malekith's metabolism enables him to repair damaged bodily tissues much faster and more extensively than a human is capable of. The limits of Malekith's natural healing abilities aren't known, but it is believed that he isn't able to regenerate missing limbs or organs without magical assistance.

Magical Energy Manipulation: Malekith can manipulate great amounts of mystical energy for a number of purposes. Malekith has been known to often use his mystical powers to alter his shape and appearance. He can even use this ability to transform himself into a mist-like substance, allowing him to fly through the air over great distances. He is also capable of using this same energy to teleport himself across great distances, including between dimensional barriers. Malekith can also generate powerful blasts of concussive energy for destructive purposes. It is also believed that Malekith can use this mystical energy to increase most, if not all, of his superhuman physical attributes temporarily. He has used it to increase his physical strength and, since he was believed to have been killed by Kurse after having his neck broken, it is believed that he used his knowledge of sorcery beforehand to increase the limits of his natural healing abilities and for the purpose of appearing to be dead.

Though he generally avoids it, Malekith is a moderately skilled hand to hand combatant.

He is also a talented and powerful sorcerer and a natural spell caster.

He commands the Wild Hunt, a pack of mystical hunting dogs that can track his prey across dimensions and savagely attack or seize their quarry and hold it unharmed, at his bidding.

EXTREMELY vulnerable to pure iron, in a manner similar to the way werewolves are vulnerable to silver, to the point that merely touching it is painful.  His magic cannot affect pure iron (but it can affect steel).

Ons & Offs: ONs Elves and other eternal beings but since they aren't around, torturing humans. OFFs  Humans (horrid little beasts)

There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.

She should be easier as I have a character sheet for her in my other game so I will do the one that will be the most work.

Name: Pinhead
Codename: Pinhead?
Age: Unknown
Species: Cenobite
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Sadomasochist
History:
How you got here: Pinhead was in the middle of giving someone a makeover when he stepped outside of the torture chamber to get something he wanted, a weapon or tool that he had forgotten to grab. Unfortunately as he stepped out of the door, he ended up leaving the realm of hell for this new place, Apocalypse City, finding that everything including his abilities had completely changed, and not for the better.
Personality: Pinhead has some obsessive-compulsive disorder going on. You can say he has a one stop mind. He seeks out experiences and he likes giving them, so in some ways, because he is limited in what he can do here, his existence is now hell.
Appearance: He wears a long black fetish outfit, if you want to call it that, with some prominent piercings on his chest, and pins that have been hammered into his head. He rarely seems to have a smile on his face.
Faceclaim: Doug Bradley
Powers / skills: The ability to create things out of thin air such as food, clothing, and weapons. He cannot create things as large as cars, but manages to do bikes all right, and can some how clone car keys for cars that come into his possession.
Note: Pinhead is able to create weapons, as before. There is one problem though. If he tries to use them, they simply vanish as if they had never existed. They only remain permanent in the hands of other people.

Ons & Offs: Will link this later

(WIP...needs finished yet, this is a sneak peak of what Im going to do)
Buffy and Pinhead both look good Esoterica! You can post them both in the Character sheet thread when you're ready, the link for it is at the top of this thread.

Ben Steele

Name: Wally West
Codename: The Flash
Age: 23
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight (Kinsey Scale 1)

History: After gaining access to the speed force and training as Kid flash, Wally initially left to work with the titans and find a path of his own. Later he took over as The Flash upon Barry's death, knowing that the world needed The Flash to help protect them.

How you got here: An errant misstep in the speed force left him stranded, and without a direct conduit to the speed force to use to his advantage for his full powers, or to escape.

Personality: A cocky young man, inflated some by the powers he has and successes in his past. While the death of Barry did subdue him some, and the loss of so much of his speed, he's still the fastest man on earth, or, wherever he is now, and with that comes a certain arrogance inherent in the knowledge of his power. That being said, he wants to believe there is good in people, that people aren't inherently evil and that there's always a silver lining.

Appearance: Athletic blonde male, Blue eyes, standing 5'9" tall. When costumed, wearing a full body suit of special (not spandex) material to protect him from the effects of moving at such high speeds.

Faceclaim: Chase Ketron

Powers / skills:
Super Speed: Currently limited to a mere 700mph

Phasing: The Flash has always possessed the ability to control his speed and angular momentum at the molecular level, and control his molecular interactions to allow his body to pass through any substance.

Superhuman Stamina: The Flash possesses vast superhuman endurance that is was inexhaustible, though is more calorie limited now..

Hand-to-Hand Combat: Wally is very proficient in many forms of fighting.

Intellect: Wally is very smart. He was able to use his powers in different ways that nobody could teach him. He also remembers several lectures Barry gave him, including various "Flash Facts".

Mechanical Aptitude: Wally can intuitively understand the operation of any mechanical device.

Weaknesses:
Metabolism: Wally's Caloric requirements are staggering, even when not using his powers his metabolism is highly accelerated meaning his food intake must be far beyond most people's

Oh hey, a chance to play my favorite Marvel misfit in his natural setting... I present:

Legal Name: Unknown
Code Name: The Captain (because all the other good ones are taken)
Age: Early 30s
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 220lbs

History: The man who would eventually become The Captain has a fuzzy recollection of his own past. It might have to do with trauma involving an alcoholic mother, a teddy bear and a noose. Or he is just not that bright. He was just some (slightly stupid) guy from Brooklyn who worked a series of labor jobs to support his true passions in life: drinking and getting into fights. He was nothing special until one night, while on a bender, he pretty much tripped over a pair of little green dudes who claimed to be aliens. The green guys (who were possibly Leprechauns) introduced themselves as Spa-fon and Squa-tront and said they were looking for a champion to whom they would bestow the 'Messianic Sidda-Complex' or the 'Hearstar of the space between galaxies' or something like that. Apparently he was that champion.

The Captain can't really remember that night well. All he knows it one of the green dudes shoved something against his chest while the other told him he was to use his power to make the nightmarish land around him a batter place. Instead, he beat three shades of puce out of the green dudes, and possibly killed them. He was the right kind of drunk to think that Leprechauns turned into gold coins when you hit them enough. Then, when they were knocked out or dead, he tried to steal their wallets and instead puked on them and stumbled away.

When he sobered enough to remember something about being a hero, the man that became The Captain set off to at least to right by the green guys. He took on the mantle of Captain Awesome... only to find out it was already taken. Then Captain Power, Captain Avalon, Captain Avenger, Captain Kerosene, Captain L. Ron, Captain Marvel, Captain Power, Captain Ultra, and Captain Universe. All of the names were taken, and he really was not great at the whole hero thing. He was just about done with all of it, and going by the name Captain ☠☠☠☠ when he met Captain America, who beat him up and left him in a dumpster with a bar of soap in his mouth.

It was around that time he was recruited into the anti-terrorist superhero team Nextwave. That was a good gig, and he got to fight hollow ones, a dragon-god and vegetable people. Only it turned out that the organization he was working for (H.A.T.E.) was actually a front for the Beyond Corporation, and they were actual terrorists.

How He Got Here: He is not actually aware of the fact that when he woke up this morning and stumbled into his bathroom, the bathroom was in a whole other version of the city he likes to call his city. The Heartstar, it seems, works in mysterious  ☠ ☠ ☠ ☠ ways.

Personality: The Captain could be a Big Damn Hero, and there was a time he wanted to be, but every time he has tried he has failed. So at some point in time he just gave up. He is content with just loafing around and watching mindless crap on the television. At least until someone goes and causes trouble in Brooklyn.

Appearance: The man known only as The Captain a shade above average height with a bit more weight on his frame than one might expect. He has a blue collar sensibility about him and puts very little effort into style. He just wakes up, gives himself a George Carlin special and maybe puts some effort into shaving. If he really wants to, he could clean up and look pretty good, but he has not had a reason to, ever.

Face Claim: CM Punk (with oodles of irony involved)

Powers:

☠ Superhuman Strength: The Captain is so absurdly strong that he once smacked someone's spine out through their lungs just by patting them on the back; in his defense, he was quite extraordinarily drunk. When provoked, he also broke several fingers of Fin Fang Foom.

☠ Superhuman Stamina: The Captain's augmented musculature generates less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a normal human. While the full limits of his stamina aren't known, he can at least exert himself at peak capacity for several hours without tiring.

☠ Superhuman Durability: The Captain is much more resistant to physical damage than a normal human. He can withstand high caliber bullets, falls from great heights, powerful energy blasts and great impact forces without sustaining injury.

☠ Superhuman Sight: He is able to see further and with much more clarity (when sober) than most humans.

☠ Flight: The Captain is able to propel himself through the air for extended periods of time. The maximum speed he can reach while in flight isn't exactly known, but it is known to be significantly lower than the Speed of Sound.

Equipment:

☠ The Captain's powers are derived from the 'Heartstar of the space between galaxies' which is implanted in his chest. It is device of advanced alien design that bestows upon its user the 'Messianic Sidda-complex' which, in The Captain's reckoning, is a generic set of superhero powers. The Captain has yet to push the boundaries of however powerful the Heartstar is and he is really unlikely to.

Other Skills: He once threw used a beer can at a S.W.O.R.D. helicopter and knocked someone out of it... that counts, right?

Ons/Offs: As per my own.

This is still a WIP as I plan to write out a more detailed story of how she arrived here, though I'll hide it behind a quote.  Or I my use it as a opening post...not sure yet.  Either way, I am still actively learning about this character though I am nearly finished with Final Crisis so after that I should be able to have a firm grasp of where I want to go.  Always open to ideas, and my PM's are open for questions!

Black Mary
Name: Mary Batson
Codename: Mary Marvel
Age: 16 while human – Appears to be mid 20s when transformed.
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Unsure, but doesn’t see it in a binary sense.

History: Mary’s memory was wiped in the event that transported her to the new world, though bits and pieces of her former life remain.  What she remembers is being lost, without family and without a place that she called home, and she remembers being on a journey to find something though she is not sure what it was.  Mary remembers her magical word, though her powers are still something that she is working through upon her arrival.

How you got here: On a quest to find one of the homes of Zatanna, Mary found herself being attacked by The Flash.  During the struggle, she proved that she was able to overcome Barry’s attack, though she had difficulty landing any blows of consequence on the speedster.  As the fight raged on, Barry decided that he could not beat her, and since she was actively destroying everything within sight, he decided to take a risk.  Barry grabbed ahold of Mary and began to run, reaching speeds he had not reached since the first Crisis.  As he ran, Mary tried fighting him off, but the overwhelming force of being in the speed force made her nearly impotent.  Finally, she was able to get a good blow in, freeing herself from Barry and “falling” into a world she had never been before.  She found herself deposited in a vault deep within a strange palace, surrounded by great magical items that drew the curious and power hungry Mary to them.  One in particular, a peculiar green stone, practically begged her to take it…as she approached, she heard a door open and a voice call out to her, she reached forward and grasped the stone…as she did, everything went black, and after she finally woke up from the event she found herself in Apocalypse City.

Personality: While human, Mary appears to be a sweet and innocent girl, if not a little bit conflicted with her new life and her lack of memory.  As Mary Marvel, she finds herself constantly craving for something, though what that something is she is not yet sure.  She is short tempered, manipulative, selfish and destructive when upset…yet when she is pacified, a kind and caring nature can be found by those who have brought her peace.

Appearance: 6’1, athletic and toned body with ample curves, appears as though her image was designed to draw attention.  She has long black hair, blue eyes, and lightly tanned skin.  Her uniform consists of black lace-up boots, a black mini-skirt (which isn’t always worn), a black sleeved leotard with a golden lightning bolt across her chest.  While human, she stands 5’6 and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Powers / skills: Heightened Intelligence, Superhuman Strength, Self Sustenance when transformed, Superhuman stamina and endurance, Superhuman speed, Superhuman reflexes, Flight, Magical Abilities (she's still figuring these out).
Weaknesses: Highly susceptible to both emotional manipulation, primarily in the forms of affection, familial bonding, and when she feels needed/important.  Because of this, once discovered it is almost unfairly easy to sway Mary’s emotions and turn her to your side.

Mary’s almost insatiable need to fill a void that she doesn’t fully understand causes her to be highly unreliable.  Despite her great power, committing to any long-term plan or action to obtain something is next to impossible.  She is very much stuck living in the moment.

Without a firm hold on her memory, she is currently unaware of the full extent of her powers and will be learning what they are as she is forced to rely upon them.  Though the gods still speak to her, she doesn’t seem to be able to understand or grasp what they are saying.

O&O's: Unknown, though with her lack of memory she doesn’t fully understand the concept of “taboo” and tends to go wherever her will takes her.

Was the vault perhaps already in Apocalypse City and all she did was relocate?

There are a number of people who would have vaults full of magic items.

I suppose it could be, but that wasn't the original plan.  The particular item is what cursed her and wiped her memory/made her so mentally malleable for trying to steal it from a reality where she didn't belong.  It's not incredibly important if it needs changed, was more or less a fun bit of universe shifting I thought would be amusing.  I plan on expanding upon what it was in my first post/detailed "how I arrived"

No worries.

Was just trying to give her an established rival, who just wanted their green rock (utterly unimportant, really.  Hardly even noticed it was gone) back....

#16

Name: Tanya Bowen
Codename: Dagger
Age: 22
Species: Human. altered
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: lesbian
History:

Tandy Bowen was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio, an affluent suburb of Cleveland. Bowen's mother, Melissa, was a celebrated and self-centered model who had become rich not only from her own career but also from receiving her previous husband's estate. Tandy's father had left for India seeking "spiritual rebirth." Subsequently, Melissa married Phillip Carlisle. Although kind, Tandy was still hurt by her father's leaving and did not accept Phillip. Her mother also neglected her.
Feeling unloved, Tandy turned for affection to an older teenager named Rob Daltry. But when he left for college shortly thereafter, the despondent Tandy left home on a bus for New York City. While there, a man tried to rob her but was stopped by the homeless Tyrone Johnson. She bought him food and the two became friends.

Dr. Simon Marshall and his men rounded up runaways, offering them food and shelter. Naive, Tandy agreed, and Tyrone went with her, suspecting things were not right. There, they were knocked unconscious and injected with a designer drug the Maggia wished to use as a replacement for heroin. Because of latent mutant genetic factors and some magical interference by D'Spayre, Tyrone and Tandy survived while the others died due to the drugs' effects. They escaped, along with another prisoner, the Chinese human-carrier who would become Mister Negative, jumping into the river, and both began manifesting superhuman powers. They discovered Tandy could keep Tyrone in check. Marshall's men attacked, but were consumed by Cloak's hunger then hit with Dagger's light daggers.

The two became Cloak and Dagger, pledging to protect other young people from the dangers they had encountered. Tandy is fiercely loyal to Cloak. Even when offered to be reunited with her stepfather, she remained with Cloak.
Cloak & Dagger also teamed with Spider-Man and others to halt a murderous supervillain rampage led by superhuman serial killer Carnage; later, Dagger helped rescue the New Warriors from the supremely powerful Sphinx. She accepted an offer of New Warriors membership, though Cloak declined to join. Serving as a Warriors reservist, Dagger also undertook a single mission with the informal Secret Defenders group.
Cloak was manipulated by Nightmare into wanting to consume all lawbreakers. Dagger sought the assistance of Daredevil, Black Widow, Moon Knight, Shang Chi, Doctor Strange, and the Punisher. Eventually, Dagger was forced to use her full power on Cloak removing Cloak’s connection to the Darkforce and returning him to being human. Tyrone was helped to rejoin society by Dr Strange who got him a good job.

Dagger continued patrolling the streets of New York, focusing on helping people get over drug addictions with her powers and stopping drug dealers, occasionally teaming up with different heroes.  At one point Dagger found herself working with the Savage Avengers to confront the threat of a Madbomb set off by the Cult of Set, Dagger discovered a range of new uses for her powers, including more extensive range of constructs, physical healing abilities (even of the recently deceased), invisibility, and light manipulation. Dagger continued to roam the mean streets, bringing the light of hope to the innocent and justice to the guilty.

How you got here:
Dagger was patrolling one night and was following a drug dealer through the park and into a dark tunnel under a bridge that lead to a different New York.  She tried walking back through the tunnel, but she was stuck in this new reality.  She tried finding the drug dealer she had followed into the tunnel to get him to tell her how to return home, but he had vanished into the new New York.  Tanya knew how to survive on the streets after all the time she partnered with Tyrone and she was putting those skills to use again.  She learned that villains had sectioned off New York and that people randomly appeared in this New York.  She eventually registered at the Arrival Center, hiding her powers as she got a job at a dance studio.

Personality:
Tanya is a kind person who generally believes in the good in people.  And with her powers, she can help others find the good in themselves and turn their lives around.  She believes in justice but also second chances for those who are willing to change.  She has been lonely ever since Tryone stopped being Cloak, but she hasn't made a connection like she had with Tyrone with other heroes she has worked with, but she is hopeful that one day she would find that connection.  She needs someone to balance out her kindness, which has lead her to trusting people who betrayed her trust, with a bit of pessimism.

Appearance:
Tanya is a blonde and blue eyes busty woman of average height, 5'5", but on the slim side.  She is fit and athletic. She has a white crescent circle around her right eye.  This is tattoo appeared when she got her powers and she hides it with makeup when she is being Tanya instead of Dagger.  Using her powers will burn off any makeup covering the cresent as well.
Faceclaim: Meggan Clay

Powers / skills:
  • Lightforce Generation: As a result of her exposure to experimental drugs, Dagger generates a form of 'living light' which is actually Lightforce. She produces much more than normal humans do, but is usually conservative in the use of her powers. Overuse of her powers could be fatal. Dagger generates and stores this lifeforce energy automatically. If she goes for more than a week or so without using her powers, she will become fevered and delirious, and eventually discharge her energy involuntarily. When inverted by Mister Negative, Dagger draws her powers from the Darkforce, but they are otherwise identical, save for her daggers causing additional pain.

    • Lightforce Constructs: Tandy can form constructs made of Lightforce. Primarily, these have been 6-inch 'light daggers' which she can throw from her fingertips. Her daggers may automatically form under certain conditions, such as another person in danger. The maximum effective range is unknown, but the daggers seem to weaken with further distance. Tandy has a limited ability to control their flight and reinforce them by compelling them to seek targets. They can track a being, but it is most effective when searching for Cloak. Those hit by these knives have their own lifeforce disrupted. Dagger can then drain a portion of their lifeforce; enough to kill if she wishes. Normally she chooses to leave them in a state of shock where they will see a vision of how their life might be different. The experience is powerful enough to make most individuals rethink their choices, although a hardened criminal or evil being is unlikely to change their ways. During her membership of the Savage Avengers, however, she discovered that she could create more complex constructs, including chains, swords, armour, a swing, a bow and arrows, and a scale model of a temple the team was about to assault. Tandy now believes that her only limitation is her imagination.
    • Lightforce Healing: Tandy's energy can also 'purge' a person, removing toxins, drugs, and other malignant substances from their system. It also has the capacity to cure certain persons of drug addictions. During her time as one of the Savage Avengers, she discovered that she could use this power to heal physical wounds, including restoring Flash Thompson's wounded symbiote, and healing a recently killed Conan, and in combination with Cloak, amplify Elektra's necromancy.
    • Lightforce Manipulation: Sometimes Tandy can redirect the daggers after they ricochet, other times the daggers are dispersed if they hit a non-living thing. She can project her lifeforce energy in a diffuse manner, allowing her to illuminate dark areas as if by natural light. Tandy can also projects her 'light' into Cloak's dimension to feed his 'hunger.' She is unharmed when traveling through his dimension and can pass this protection to others.
    • Light Manipulation: During her membership of the Savage Avengers, after instruction from Dane Whitman, Tandy discovered that she could also manipulate natural light, meaning that she could make herself invisible and redirect lasers.
    • Self-Sustenance: using her lifeforce connection, Dagger's physical, metabolic needs are completely eliminated. These needs encompass breathing (air/oxygen), water, nutritional sustenance, rest (sleep and relaxation).  There is a limit on how long she can depend on her lightforce to sustenane herself, but limit is unknown at this point.  This is an offshot of her ability to heal and cleanse with Lightforce.
  • Abilities

    • Dancing: Dagger is an experienced dancer.
    • Skilled Combatant: Her athleticism, dance and gymnastic skills make her a good hand-to-hand combatant able to dodge gunfire. She was also blind for a time, so she knows how to move unhindered without being able to see.
  • Weaknesses
  • Nonliving objects are unaffected by her daggers.
  • For all her powers, she still has human weaknesses

Ons & Offs:
My characters are generally Bottoms. :) I like to describe my heroines as bottoms, I am a terrible Sub.  While my heroines love being sex toys, they won't give up their independence.  Motto for my heroine would be:  It is not how many times I get knocked down and fucked, but how many times I get back up that make me a heroine!

Likes: rough Sex, pinning, restraining, futa, strapons, gangbangs, women

Dislikes: Edging/orgasm denial, torture scenes, toilet scenes, vore, slavery, heavy angst or drama scenes, and heavy mind control where my character isn't able to act.  I prefer to avoid heavy bondage or Mind control mainly because I find that I am not interacting with other characters anymore and more interacting with the bondage.

In writing, a flaw is not the interesting part of a character.  What is interesting is how a person overcomes a flaw.  I want to read how a person overcomes a flaw, not how the flaw overcomes the person.
