Specific Plot Request: Institutions, Corruption, and Violence

Setting
Realistic, modern, urban. In particular, a mental institution.

Cast
The Scapegoat (female; played by myself) She is of 19 years old, a dropout, but by no means unintelligent. She is actually quite bright, but just had trouble finding her place in the world. She still lives at home and is working through life while part-timing as a starving artist.

The Corrupt (male -possibly-; played by other) He's the governor and the uncle of the Scapegoat and it is an election year. As a respected head of the state, he must maintain the image of a perfect life, however behind the scenes it is anything but. He's married, but that doesn't stop him from philandering hookers, indulging in watching porn featuring younger girls, even buying coke once in a while.

The Doctor (male -possibly-; played by other) He's a competent psychiatrist, however he's nestled securely in the pocket of his old college friend who just so happens to be the Governor and behind his suave exterior is a hidden sadism.

General Plot Idea

Our Scapegoat comes across the Corrupt's stash of teen porn (or sees him with a hooker, or finds his drugs, or something of the like) while visiting for a family party, thus threatening his credibility and his chances of both becoming elected again, and remaining a free man, for if word of his crime gets out to the press, bad things would happen. The Scapegoat needs to be put away, but she's his sister's daughter and killing her does not seem like much of an option, and instead he gets her committed to Fairbrooks Mental Facilities where his college friend, The Doctor can keep an eye on her. It's an easy task to do, she already has violent tendencies and was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder as a tween. Not to mention, she's the family black sheep. It's not like she's going to be missed...right?

Once in the facility, she insists that she is not crazy to all who will listen. Of course, no one believes this and eyebrows of skepticism raise when she speaks of The Corrupted's crime. The Doctor, paid off by his old friend, is told to make sure she stays without credit and he takes this power and uses it to his advantage to carry out something that allows his secret side to breathe a sigh of release.
