Someone had an idea that I thought would be good to put on a planned list of rps I want to do. (the idea being boy to cheerleader.) Is it ok to add it here?

You might want to ask first whether the originator minds if you borrow the concept, just to be polite.

I would say it would be polite to drop them a PM. "I really like your X idea, would you mind if I used it myself."
