The IC Thread should start soon but we're still recruiting!

As for new players, if you think you're flexible, we encourage you to design Padawan or Non-Force User characters as we have a fine number of Masters so far. That doesn't mean Masters are not allowed at all, if you think you really really crave to play a Master, then you're welcome to do so. But keep in mind that this game focuses more on Padawans and their trials as the name represents, the Jedi Academy!

You can also find the Character Sheet in the first post.

And here's the last update about character creation;

QuoteWe wanted to simplfy things by making all the same level characters have more or less same level of powers. For this, three stages can be considered;

Padawan - Knight - Master

(Note: These levels are pretty much the same for "non-force" users. For example a Republic trooper who is a new recruit is same as a Padawan, a veteran of some wars is same as Knigth and a captain of years long battles, as Master.)

That means if you don't specify your characters strong and weak points, all the characters of same "status" have more or less the same strenght. So basically, a Master is not way more powerful and skilled than another Master. Of course, you can state some focus for your characters skills like "he's great at acrobatics" or "she has a really strong memory" but that means your char. is just slightly better than others in that field, not that he beats others to the ground.

That being said;

If you want your character to be exceptionally good at something (for example, one-on-one lightsaber combat), you're very much welcome to state that. But there should also be a drawback and you also have to name that weakness. Maybe you've mastered 1on1 style, but you are not good against a dozen opponents or maybe you're not so good at mental Force Powers like healing or mind tricks.

So basically, all characters on same status are pretty much on same power levels. You may name focus skills which you're a little better than others, no problem. But if you name your character as "one of the best" in galaxy, he/she should also have an equal weakness.

I'd love to join in on this idea as a padawan if you are still accepting!  Let's see what comes up... will take a little time...

Yep, still open. But please keep this in mind.

And here's the link to our approved characters thread. You'll find info and the links to the other threads here. Once you have a char. sheet done, send it's code to MaiMizzu and then you're good to post =)

Just curious - what sort of non-force users might you guys be looking for? :)

Wheels within wheels in a spiral array, a pattern so grand and complex; Time after time we lose sight of the way, our causes can't see their effects.

https://elliquiy.com/wiki/JediAcademy that is our wiki page, it has the starting classes listed
The definition of a hero, at least in my mind, is someone who can protect what is right. To change and stop the wrong. To fight against the forces that seek to destroy you. And, at the very least ... live life well, and enjoy it with those you love.

I have a force sensitive bounty hunter who was raised by Ewoks during her early years. Would something like that work in line with this group?
"One thing you who had secure or happy childhoods should understand about those of us who did not, we who control our feelings, who avoid conflicts at all costs or seem to seek them, who are hypersensitive, self-critical, compulsive, workaholic, and above all survivors, we're not that way from perversity. And we cannot just relax and let it go. We've learned to cope in ways you never had to." ~Author, Piers Anthony
