Well, as we know, everyone exists here just to keep me happy :D

Okay, seriously, I wish to play another D&D game, with a specific character idea in mind. If someone would like to run it, that'd be awesome. In truth, I'd probably be happy with it being freeform (as I like freeform games well enough), just with some kind of idea on how to resolve "2 people are trying to stab each other in the face" and "one person is trying to sweet-talk someone else" situations. I'd also create a character sheet for that anyway, just so I have a clearly defined list of stuff, so the GM would know my capabilities.

Now, onto the character herself. The race is a Mephit. Go ahead and look them up. Here:

The rules part:
Now, the game designer who I admit to being too big a fan of puts them at Level 4 to be played. That is to say, if you're playing as a Mephit, choosing your own feats and having a point-buy/dice roll for ability scores, then you're 4th level. They sort of have "Level Adjustment 1", in that it's not a real level. But it still counts for "This spell affects creatures of X hit dice or less", still counts for your maximum skill ranks (but not skills gained) and things like that.

Here is where he gives the general breakdown:

It also has a nice prestige class for them to take, letting them gain more spell-like abilities. I would most likely take levels of that, combined with a few levels of the Conduit of the Lower Planes:

(Preferably modified to be a Conduit of the Inner Planes, though, seeing as these are elemental creatures. Changes: Lose the Petitioner Immunities and Petitioner Skills.)

So basically, I would be a Mephit with more spell-like abilities.

The not-rules part:

The idea is to play a cute, playful, even a little bit innocent nice-girl Mephit, except perhaps one who likes to play rough (these critters have damage reduction and fast healing, they're also not bright enough to know other races tend to be softer) who wants to unite a gang of fellow mephits in an alliance. Why? The reasons are many: Companionship (have friends around), security (strong allies of the planes) and boredom (self-explanatory).

So she'd be on a quest to establish an actual base of operations (an abandoned dungeon, even if she has to force it to become abandoned. Or buying a house/tower, or whatever. This can be made to be a lot of fun. House: then start forcing the locals to get used to her presence, protect them, help the business of the NPCs by sticking her nose into things and going in search of rare materials so the stores can do especially well. Dungeon: Get in populated by friendly types and have it become a success.), find allies (mephits, though friends in general would be good), get laid (as often as her whims dictate) and satiate boredom by doing jobs that people need doing.

Ideally, the GM would have a sense of humour,be able to go along with things, and be able to create and play entertaining NPCs. Be warned, they may be randomly forced into becoming important characters if she decides she likes them enough to abduct and force into being a friend.

Preferred starting level would be in the 6-10 range, letting me have a few abilities to play with but not yet reaching "Why haven't you invaded Hell and killed every bad guy in the world?" territory yet. I just don't see this particular character being ideal for that one.

I hope to hear replies ~<3
