My O/O's

What I'm Looking For:
-A female who is strong willed and has the resolve to give Tyrael some sport as he corrupts his 'host'.
-Lengthy posts with good grammar.
-A partner to participate in a long running RP.  (There is the possibility that this will evolve into a small group RP as things progress.)
-Somebody who is willing to play multiple characters with me to bring more to the story.
-An opportunity to explore all seven cardinal sins, not just lust.  (I want to put more focus on the story and character development than sex scenes.)

RP Summary:
At the start of the RP, your character stumbles across a silver coin that had been sealed away for hundreds of years.  Within the coin resides the presence of a fallen angel, whose time living among the vices of humanity had corrupted him.  Before he had been sealed away in the coin by an order that had died out in the modern age, Tyrael had thrived off the sins of mortals.  Feeding off the selfish emotional energies of their collective vices to make himself stronger.  All it'd take is the touch of somebody whose purpose for doing so is to fulfill such a vice to awaken the entity within.  Naturally, anybody who stumbles across such a valuable looking coin will feel some measure of greed or pride if they wish to obtain it for themselves.

Upon doing so, the magic that holds Tyrael within the coin becomes compromised.  The Fallen's physical form will still be trapped inside of the coin, but a portion of his essence will be transferred into the one who touched it.  There, he will be able to communicate with his "host", urging them to pursue their immoral desires and appear as a illusion until he feeds on enough energy to assume a physical body.  Tyrael can appear at the altar in his natural form, though only to those who have touched the coin.  From there it is a matter of finding out how to break the enchantment in the coin that keeps his true form bound to it.  Once free he will finally be able to spread his influence and rebuild the loyal following he had at the height of his power.  But first, he will need to convince his host to pledge herself to his cause by tempting her with the sort of power that only immortals can grant.

Story Background:
Tyrael was one of the archangels who turned against God when Lucifer lead a coup against Heaven itself.  Although his morals were misguided, Tyrael wasn't inherently corrupt; simply acting for a cause he deemed for the greater good that just so happened to pit him against the will of the creator.  After their defeat, the rebellious parties were banished to the fiery depths of Hell.  Although he was more powerful than the rest of the Fallen, Lucifer knew that there was a number of his kin that were a threat to his rightful domain.  Being a master of deception, he managed to trick a good number of them into living in the mortal plane among the humans and would be given a measure of free will of their own.  Tyrael was among them.  A few centuries of being immersed among the corrupt twisted the archangel's already misguided morality.  Eventually, he was so consumed by the vices of humanity that they became the source of his power, feeding off them to make himself stronger and more able to spread his influence.  It was a perpetual cycle that made the Fallen more powerful with each repetition.  The change was so deep that Tyrael's radiant true form became darker and more wicked until it was darkness that adorned him rather than light.  His angelic wings became tattered, turning into independently flowing tendrils; it is believed that his face was also distorted by his corruption, but he has never revealed it to anybody once he began his transformation.

Things changed once the Son made the ultimate sacrifice.  By doing so, the divine had the keys to bind the Fallen; imprisoning them in one of the thirty denarii paid to the man who betrayed his savior.  It was only a matter of time before Tyrael was confronted by a group that took it upon themselves to purge the world of the Fallen.  The attempt was not easy and they paid a heavy toll for their purpose, but once the dust settled Tyrael was imprisoned in the silver coin.  There, he spent the next two millennia trapped in his sensory deprived prison.  He could not partake of his desires, could not compel, could not escape, and could not feed.  As time passed, his strength began to wane.  About two hundred years ago, the order that trapped him there began to diminish due to society becoming more technologically focused and genuine belief in the supernatural subsided.  In the last few years of the order, the coins were scattered across the world where they would remain hidden from society and out of the reach of those who had the potential to set them free.  As the last member of the order breathed his last breath, the knowledge of the coins and their contents were lost.

Tyrael's coin was buried in an underground cavern and remained there until present day.  In the past few decades, a college campus was erected above the forgotten cave.  As one of the older buildings began to settle into its foundation, a small section caused the roof of the cave collapse from the weight.  For the first time in centuries the cavern got its first breath of fresh air.

The Fallen's Limitations:
His powers will gradually develop as he continues to feed throughout the story.  (I plan on making it a relatively slow process so we can make the RP last and to not make him ridiculously powerful within the first couple of pages.)  One of the more common abilities is a touch that makes a mortal feel their amoral desires more predominant and more likely to act.  I'm going to make it a strict guideline that he cannot control an individual or otherwise interfere with their free will, but he does have the potential to provide a strong compulsion through temptation to direct them as he desires.  He'll have telepathy with any who touch the cursed coin.  Telekinesis and illusion magic will develop over time also, but it will start out very weak.  I'll go more into detail with those as they become more relevant to the story.  And of course knowledge that comes with any being around during the creation and had millennia to learn the ways of the world, though since he's been sealed up for so long, more modern technologies like computers and cell phones will elude him for a while.  I think that would make for a fun plot point in the story.

At first, his consciousness will transfer into the person who touches the coin, whom he will refer to as his host.  Tyrael won't be able to control the character, but will exist as something that is a mix between a second personality and a conscience.   He can make that individual see minor illusions, most commonly his own form or the human guise he will take.  At this point, he will mainly be persuading his host to indulge their vices or be in proximity to those who are doing so.  I don't expect him to exist in this form long before he has siphoned enough energy for a construct; it'll mainly be used to acclimate the host to entities that are now regarded as little more than lore at present day while also beginning her descent into corruption.  While he doesn't have to participate in the activities directly to feed, actually being in contact with them or having him be directly involved with the amoral actions is far more appealing and efficient for him.  In ancient times, he's been known to use his abilities to inspire mass orgies where he could feed off the ambient energies of lust.  Of course he wouldn't solely be contented with watching and would typically participate as well.

If you're interested, please PM me a concept for your main character that will serve as Tyrael's "host".  Feel free to message me about any questions/ideas/suggestions you may have.  I'm more than happy to work with my partners to make the story fun for both of us, even if it means making changes to the outline I have above.  :-)

To give you an idea as to the main character I will be playing.

Name:  Tyrael
Age: Unknown
Appearance:

True Form

Human Form

Defining Vice: Greed
Defining Virtue: Patience
Personality: Being as old as time itself, Tyrael is patient like few others. He lives to manipulate and feed off the desires of mortals, which is most often achieved by tempting his prey.  Devious and calculating are his two most predominate and dangerous aspects.

Bio: Tyrael is one of the Fallen; the league of archangels lead by Lucifer who fought to defy God's will for what they believed was for the greater good.  Upon their defeat, they were banished from Heaven and cast into the fiery depths of Hell where they would rule over the souls of the wicked and corrupt.  There, animosity grew among the ranks and even though Lucifer was powerful, he would not have been able to defend his throne should they try to take it in numerous force.  The Great Betrayer lived up to his namesake and granted his rivals an opportunity to reside upon the Material world and live among the mortals; though he had not informed them that by doing so they would be stuck there and would not be granted the free will they desired all along.  Tyrael was among those who chose to reside over the mortals and act as protector and guardian towards God's creations.  After all, the reason he defied The Creator was because he would not bestow the same privileges he granted the humans to those who served him absolutely.  Living among them was the closest opportunity the Fallen got to fulfilling what he had wanted.

As the species developed, so did their capacity for corruption.  Over the millennia these vices twisted Tyrael’s nature until they became a part of who he is by guiding his actions and desires. The moral decay went so deep that he began to thrive on the seven major vices of humanity and fulfills them at every opportunity.  Eventually, he was so consumed by the vices of humanity that it became the source of his power, feeding off them to make himself stronger and more able to corrupt. Over the ages, he has sired several offspring to woman he deemed worthy to carry his seed.  He views these women as valuable vessels for his progeny and considers them his personal possessions until they have come to term.  During which time he is very possessive of the women and will not hesitate to destroy anything that threatens to take them away.

Things changed once the Son made the ultimate sacrifice.  By doing so, the divine had the keys to bind the Fallen; imprisoning them in one of the thirty denarii paid to the man who betrayed his savior.  It was only a matter of time before Tyrael was confronted by a group to took it upon themselves to purge the world of the Fallen. As time passed, he grew weaker.  About two hundred years ago, the order that trapped him there began to wane due to society becoming more technologically focused and genuine belief in the supernatural subsided.

As one of the older buildings began to settle into its foundation, a small section caused the roof of the cave collapse from the weight providing a breath of fresh air to the cavern for the first time in two centuries.  At the start of the RP, the opening isn't even noticeable until your character stumbles across the weakness in the building's foundation and falls through the weakened floor and into the cave.  The cave itself would look like nothing overly special; standard rock formations and shallow pools scattered around the modestly sized space.  The only unusual aspect to it is the round pedestal in the very center of the room, circled by a shallow pool of water and ornately carved with runes of a language long since forgotten.  Upon which rests the silver denarian where the Fallen's presence resides.

All it'd take is the touch of somebody whose purpose for doing so is to fulfill a vice.  Naturally, anybody who stumbles across such a valuable looking coin will feel some measure of greed or pride if they wish to obtain it for themselves.  Upon doing so, Tyrael will awaken.  The Fallen's physical form will still be trapped inside of the coin, but a portion of his essence will be transferred into the one who touched it.  There, he will be able to communicate with his "host", urging them to pursue their immoral desires and appear as a illusion until he feeds on enough energy to assume a physical body.  Tyrael will appear at the altar in his natural form, though only to those who have touched the coin.  He will be chained to the altar, still bound by the divine power that bound him, but he will be able to create a construct in the form of a human where he can transfer his consciousness in order to venture into society to continue to feed and grow in power until he is strong enough to break free.
