in a post apocoliptic world ware  food is money and people bet all they have on underground fights danny mckingly  is a ex bare knuckle boxer looking for his place in life wanting to  forget about his violent past . until a fight promoter looking to make a name for himself sees danny defend  his daughter aganst a group of fighters mad at her father for  cheating them . the promter takes danny on as his fighter to win more fights but as danny fights he also gets close  to the promoters daughter who is  his ring side medic stitching and takeing care of him whine he needs it . not wanting to see his daughter with danny . the pormoter sets up  fights for danny that are fights to the death forceing danny back into a life he swore he had left behind in order to keep the girl he loves safe
