Odd request, maybe?

I had an idea for a game, but I'm not sure whether it's quite allowed.
It does involve a child (around 6-8), in a non-sexual context.
The guy's wife left him 3 years ago, left the kid. Last he heard from her was the divorce papers. Dad has a new girlfriend, been together a while... You know where I'm going.

Provided the child isn't involved sexually (obviously), would this be allowed?

The current rule is no children in sex scenes. It is slightly strict and prevents some types of scenes from being completely played out, but it keeps people from trying to push boundaries.

So no children in sex scenes.
Which means that not in sex scenes would be fine?
I'm not interested in anything like that, just kind of, exploration of a family unit, if you will. Mummy and Daddy still do it, right? :P

Yes, children can be a part of a story.
