My top three sad and loving movies about love for me is:

My Sister's Keeper = Selfish love, cancer, self-sacrifice, letting go

The Lovely Bones = serial killer, acceptance, forgiveness, death

The Road = fear, bravery, humanity, paternal love, sacrifice, despair, hope

I saw My Sister's Keeper in the theaters when it came out. It's very different from the books, have you read any of the corresponding novels? How do you think they compare?
