Hey everyone! I wanted to recruit interest for a Anime-Crossover/Sword Art Online adventure, freeform game. Where players will play as a average person Avatar, with a famous Anime character of their choosing as a Servant from Fate Stay Night.

Current Threads:

OOC Section - https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=223263.0

Floor 50 - https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=223262.0

The Game

The premise of the game is the same as the basic plot of Sword Art Online! Basically players logged in to this new virtual MMO called Heroes and Servants on the day it was released, only to be trapped inside by the dark creator of the game. With one major change! Instead of players playing as various classes that level up and gain power, each player will have a Servant (similar to Fate Stay Night) who is an Anime character of their choosing.

When users first entered into this game of death, they were essentially presented with the option of selecting a character from any Anime on the market. What was the appeal? Your best friend, traveling companion, and protector was the famous canon Anime character of your dreams! They are your Servant, and you are their Master. While the players of this game, if killed would die permanently, these Servants could be destroyed in battle and will respawn a bit of time later.

This RP is going to be free-form with several GM events that take place to help keep people interested, and introduce new exciting plot elements for each new floor! You guys can purchase housing, open your own shops, or go searching through dungeons and fight level bosses with your party.

The Story

The plot will be the same as the setup of Sword Art Online. You as a average Joe have logged in to this virtual world, and discovered after the first day that you were trapped inside. If anybody takes off the headset you are wearing on the outside world, a microchip inside the headset will fry your brain. If your avatar in the world dies, the same thing happens. Six-thousand people logged in on the first day. The RP will start 1 year after the game has begun, and nearly half of that number has been killed since. The game of Sword Art Online is comprised of several “floors”. With a Boss Villain waiting at the end of each floor. These floors appear as vast landscapes with very different aesthetics. Some are futuristic-tech wonderlands, others are rough mountains, and some are enormous cities. When we start the RP, the players will be near the end of Floor – 49.

One of the largest guilds in the game is posturing to take on the Floor Boss!

The Servants and Masters

Whether players want to play as both their average Joe avatar in-game, or stick mainly with their canon Anime – Servant is totally up to you. The only important concept here is that you have to pick a character from anime-cartoon series. You do not have to pick the main character! You can pick whichever cast member you are most interested in playing. For RP purposes, you can also choose to transform into your Servant rather than have them as a sort of bodyguard who follows you around. If you decide to do this, and your Servant is killed in battle, your human avatar will appear in their normal condition where their Servant fell.

Another important concept to the game is that players have the ability to choose to play a Anime character they like, but adopt the power set of a different Anime character to suit their fighting style and personal aesthetic. When entering the Sword Art Online universe, every player was presented with two options. “Select your Servant” and “Select your Servant's Powers”. In this way, people could choose to have Ash Ketchum from Pokemon as their Servant, but instead of using Pokemon, Ash fights with Goku's abilities from Dragon Ball Z. This is just an excuse for you guys as roleplayers to be able to play the Anime character you like, but with the powers of someone else you also may like. You can also choose to be one of the villains of your anime world if that is more exciting to you.

At the current moment I do not have a progression system for how Servants and Masters get more powerful. I am debating between a level up type system, or perhaps even giving people the option of earning new Servants. Trading out one for the other depending on circumstances. Like Pokemon, but with Anime characters. More to come on that later!

The Powers

Players will have all of the powers of the anime character they are playing, OR the power set of the character they are imitating for fighting reasons. What this means that if you want to play Ash Ketchum from Pokemon, you get to have all of your Pokemon. If you wanted to play Ash Ketchum with the powers of Alucard from Hellsing, then you would have Alucard's powers and no Pokemon whatsoever.

If your powers requires that your Servant has an enormous object with you (say a Gundam) then you can feel free to say that your Servant “summons” the object rather than having it present all the time. Unless you are in to that thing.

The Sex

No real rules here. Just respect the other players Ons/Offs and don't do anything against the site policies. Do not use any really young images for your Anime character in your profile creation.

The Character Sheets

A lot of this will be self-explanatory if you choose a more famous Anime character. What I am primarily interested in is what your character has been doing since arriving on the 1st floor of the Anime-Verse.

I would like to have a even ratio of female to male characters. So I apologize if I end up rejecting your application in order to hold to that dynamic.

Servant - Weaknesses: This can also be anything, but note that you must have at least 1 combat weakness. Try to shy away from just having personality related weaknesses, these need to be actual limitations of your character that can be used in the story. If you would like to PM me for discussion on this, because you want it to be a story element that's fine!

Servant – Roy Mustang
Master – Name Here

*Not required

Select Your Servant: Alchemist Captain from "Full Metal Alchemist"

Select Your Servant's Powers:
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
Mustang has eaten the Mera Mera no Mi, also known as the Flame-Flame fruit from "One Piece". He has a greater use of fire then he ever has had before, now no longer needing the transmutation circle to control the flames around him. He also does not need his trademark gloves to snap his finger for a spark, yet he does so anyways out of habit and misdirection. He still maintains the skills and training from his Alchemy universe, though he has the raw destructive power of the flame-flame fruit. The trade off is that he no longer has the alternative uses of Alchemy, trading all the alchemy powers for more fire.

Appearance/Style Description:

Personality:

Master - History:

Current Situation: Mustang and Master currently fight relentlessly on the front lines, driving ever forward in groups or alone. Though Mustang never wants to quit, the master will eventually pull away to relax and calm their nerves.

Servant - Weapons: Transmutation Gloves

.

Servant - Special Powers: Alchemy (Primarily Flame Alchemy)

Servant - Strengths:
Stalwart - Mustang is an unflinching, unrelenting force of determination. He will hunt down and destroy his opponents with ruthless efficiency. Though he is not completely lost to hatred, he just just knows what needs to be done, and does it well.

Clever - Mustang seems to always have a hunch what to do next, realizing clues that many may over look, and sizing up his opponents weaknesses and strengths rather quickly.

Servant - Weaknesses:

One track Mind - Once on the move, he rarely stops for anything. He will ignore many lesser important objectives, even if it would be convenient or beneficial to do them immediately.

Servant – Lina Inverse
Master – Ozzy Lampwick

Select Your Servant: Lina Inverse is a teenage sorceress and the main character of the Slayers series. The Lina in Heroes and Servants is Slayers Evolution-R Lina, at eighteen years old. Lina is known as one of the most powerful and feared sorceresses in all the land. By the age of 14, she had already become famous. Despite her bad habits of eating too much (justified by her serious magic usage) and taking money from bad guys, she has good intentions. Most of her bad nicknames such as Dra-mata, Robbers' Killer, and The Enemy of All Who Live come from the fact that she often causes plenty of collateral damage when fighting the forces of evil. Lina is a member of the Sorcerer's Guild, and her assigned mage color is pink (Official title: Lina the Pink), much to her embarrassment. At times Lina appears to be fearless, but there are (at least) two things she is afraid of: her sister Luna and slugs. She is also uncomfortable around fishmen.

Select Your Servant's Powers: Lina self-dubs herself as a "Magical Genius" but she isn't at all exaggerating. She specializes in black magic, yet she is also skilled in shamanism, slightly versed in white magic, and can also hold her own with the short sword. Among her spells include the most powerful Black Magic Spell of them all—the Dragon Slave. Over centuries, this spell name has become garbled and corrupted from it's original namesake: Dragon Slayer. This spell can not only kill a dragon in one shot, but is capable of wiping out an entire mountain or even an entire city easily.

Lina is also capable of casting other more powerful spells with assistance. Frequently, she employs her Demon Blood Talismans, a set of four ruby gems that she wears on her person that enable her to greatly boost her magical capacity. With the aid of these gems, she can cast the Giga Slave; an even more powerful and destructive spell than the Dragon Slave. The Giga Slave is capable of annihilating anything and even an imperfect version of this spell was capable of slaying one of the High Mazoku (Demon Lords) such as Ruby Eye Shabranigdo. Lina's first attempt at utilizing this spell created a "sea of death" where nothing can grow even to this day. Lina has since perfected the casting of this spell when she inadvertently discovered that this spell called upon the Lord of Nightmares who created the World itself. However this spell is a dangerous, double-edged sword as if Lina should lose control of the massive magical forces she is wielding, this spell can erase all of existence.

In addition to battle skills, Lina is also a master businesswoman. This is to be expected, as she grew up in a family of merchants. She tries to get the best bargain on everything, and when she does not get her way, she gets violent, often pressuring people into selling (or even giving) her items.

Appearance/Style Description: Same as visual.

Personality: Lina Inverse was created specifically to be the antithesis of stereotypical heroines; she is not only short but very petite in addition to her greedy, materialistic personality does not normally match that of most heroes. Lina's been arrested and tried for "being Lina Inverse". Justified due to her habit of picking fights with people over petty reasons, willingness to steal, and her habit of slinging around really destructive spells in populated areas with no thought for collateral damage. She can be petty, greedy, cruel, and vindictive - but inside of her lurks the heart of a true hero. While often motivated by simple greed, she tends to pick the right side in any fight and always does the right thing in the end.

Ozzy is a goofball, a shy video game-obsessed nerd that lives for pixels and pop culture. Gaming online is often the closest she gets to real social activity. When in control of the avatar of whatever game she's playing, though, she loosens up and becomes an adventure-seeking hero. She lets her hair down, so to speak, when she games. While playing as Lina Inverse, Oz tries to be as in-character as possible, feeling it's important to the experience. If Lina gets KO'd, though, she'll pop back into place and end up feeling extremely meek and vulnerable.

Master - History: Oz, like most everyone else, was terrified when she learned she was trapped in the game. Obsession with gaming is one thing, but this was just far too much. She's settled in a bit since then, though. As Lina she feels almost invincible and the confidence boost has done her well in making friends and fighting monsters. In the game world, Ozzy doesn't appear unless Lina is knocked out, at which point her human avatar poofs into existence.

Current Situation: Trying to stay in character, Ozzy has Lina splitting her time between farming easier floors for piles of loot and pushing back the tide against the monsters on the front lines of battle. She's accumulated plenty of wealth, but tends to spend most of it on heaps of food.

Servant - Weapons: Shortsword, Magic

Servant - Special Powers: Magical genius, specializing in black and shamanistic magic, with some white magic ability and some skill with a sword.

Servant - Strengths:
+Magical genius
+Tactical fighter
+Can bankrupt a buffet restaurant in a single sitting
+Loyal to her friends

Servant - Weaknesses:
-Quick to anger
-Greedy
-Most powerful spells require cast time and/or chanting
-Requires a lot of food to stay active

I recieved a PM with several good questions, so let me answer them here as well.

Servants will start at the same rough power level as one another. So if your Servant in their Anime can blow up planets, you will need to tone back that power in fights. I hope to soon have a system in place for gaining more power while still keeping things mostly free form.

The Servants will also have all the memories of their Anime. So when playing them, you can feel free to mentally make them a fish out of water in this Sword Art Online universe.

- scribus1000

Juggtacular

If your servant is your bodyguard, will your avatar have any battle abilities or going back to Ash, will your avatar be the "Trainer" to your servant's "Poke'mon"?

And you basically command them in a fight while you stand back and watch.

BruceTheCat

The Pokémon thing is a good example Jugg. That is the idea right now. The Masters stand back while the Servants fight. Or if you choose, for a fight you can sort of transform in to your Servant.
“Also I've seen that movie, if they're any similar to it, then those guns do not fuck around, please take cover“
- scribus1000

Juggtacular

Hmmm. My guy will probably be a Takeover type and get into the fight himself, but will still enjoy his servant's company, lol.

BruceTheCat

As a additional note for everyone, if you have a interest of making a unique Anime character from a pre-existing universe (unique Bleach Shinigami, Naruto ninja, FMA Alchemist) I have no problem with that!

The character sheets thread is up. If you have received approval, you can move your person over here: https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=223058.0

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
Servant- Alphonse Elric
Jake Roads

Select Your Servant: Alphonse Elric, from the anime Full Metal Alchemist/Full Metal Alchamist Brotherhood.

(Note, he has a sharp childish pitch to his voice, this is only due to his soul being transmuted into his armor from a young age. He is in fact in his teen years by the end of FMA, I believe. And for the sake of site rules he shall be bumped to 17. As he does not have a human body, his imagery does not change this allotted time frame between anime and his inclusion into the mmo. )

Select Your Servant's Powers: Alphonse uses Alchamy, much like in his own universe. But is allotted his brothers ability, to no longer require a transmutation circle. This is both something beneficial, and disheartening for him.

Appearance/Style Description: He will start the role play looking as he should, in the above pictures. But later on after aquaring gear and power, he will look like this.

Personality: Alphonse:In many ways, Alphonse's calm and passive disposition exists as a foil to his older brother's more abrasive personality. Al is kindhearted, notably compassionate and patient almost to a fault, acting often out of protective selflessness for his loved ones, new friends and sometimes toward even his enemies (Scar is a particular example). Having had his psychological growth stunted at the age of ten due to loss of his physical body, Alphonse retains a childlike purity in the face of all his encountered horrors; however, despite his age, he has always displayed a significantly higher level of maturity than Edward. Though Al is as passionate as his brother, he has remarked that his anger takes longer to spark and jokes that he is always beaten to the punch by Edward's outbursts. On the other hand, Al's heart does contain some darkness born from the tragedies of his life. Plagued with insecurities about his own uncertain existence inside a suit of armor, Al craves the human warmth of his former life in desperate silence, fears that he will never again know closeness, and is sometimes overwhelmed by the suspicion that he himself is not human;

Jake:  A naturally curious and adventuress sort, he likes lore and knowledge. So he try's to collect it in his own little journal. While he is out going and friendly, He can also be quite shy given the proper set of circumstances. A romantic at heart, with perversion to boot, ever seeking yet shying away from women he desires. This makes him easy to tease, but also easy to lead on. And given the proper circumstances he is just as liable to be assertive with a women as he is to apologize for seeing her panties. He has no worries about his current set of circumstances, this is admirable to some and odd to others.

Master - History: Is a twenty year old nerd, who on his off time from work played video games as one of his favorite escapes from the harshness of reality. He on his off time learned to play the guitar, but that's as far as he had gone on hobbies. He went to college  aspiring to be a historian, but all that changed when he had joined a new exciting MMO. Heroes and Servants. Now he travels with his Servant Alphonse, not seeking to escape but to embrace this new life. Sure, he would like to leave. But with the constant threat of death, and the harsh reality no one may ever return to the real world. He chose to count his lucky stars, except where he was, and make the best of his situation.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2IwNIN4UYA

Current Situation: They tend to be the adventures type, not exactly fighting on the front line. But constantly traveling. They make decent in game gold and rewards by Alphonse using alchemy for repairs or odd jobs and Jacob playing his guitar in town and in pubs as a traveling Minstrel of sorts. Though it is only enough to scrape on by with a hermit life style.

Servant - Weapons: With Alchamy Alphonse can make an assortment of weopons if he wanted to. But typically he arm's himself with a giant stone mace he transfuses from the earth's stones and metals. Much in the same way his brother does.

Servant - Strengths: 1: Tolerance to pain: He can not feel any physical touch, therefor the threat of pain or physical damage does not scare him, it will to a certain point but only if it is the possibility or outcome of severe cosmetic damage to his vessel. 2: Strong: He is a hulking suit of steel. Nuff said. 3: Peoples person: People tend to like him, especially children. People place their trust in Al often, especialy since it is trust well placed. A true confident, for any ones burden or time. 4: Endurance: He needs not sleep, food, warmth, anything. The perfect unrelenting fighter. 5: Alchemy: Aside from combat, he can use alchemy for general uses, repairs, making campfires a breeze.

Servant - Weaknesses: Alphonse is a kind soul, ever willing to forgive his enemies or spare their lives. Even that of the lives of animal or beast. This is a extreme personality weakness he faces when combating a foe. Aside from this, he has an "achiles heel." He may be able to repair from much of the superficial damage done to him, but any amount of change, damage, or fiddling with the blood seal within his armor will kill him. No not his armor, his very soul. All it takes is a crack, a scratch, the smudge of an enemies thumb and Alphonse is no more. His fate? No one knows what happens when a blood seal is tampered with or ruined. That's why it is especially terrifying for Al.

Interested but still haven't decided on what character I want T_T  too many to choose from.

Garuss Vakarian

Ya, lol. I agree! Real hard. It took me a while to finally decide on Al. But that's because Al is just one of the most well done anime characters of all time. In my humble opinion of coarse.

BruceTheCat

I'm pretty settled on playing Gene Starwind as my Servant, but I want to give him powers from a different Anime. I'm now just trying to decide what those powers would be

LOl, how about giving him the style Northern Star? Since he has that start tattoo. :P . No not really! Unless you think people are fine with poking someone and making them literally blow up. Ha ha ha.

PS: Fist of the north star powers + Monkey D Luffy's = GOD

BruceTheCat

Haha, I'm sort of leaning towards something like Naruto. I like that with the whole Ninjitsu thing you can have a lot of different abilities. Sort of like how with Alchemy you can do a lot of different fun things.

True true, I can see the appeal there. But what kind of Jutsu will he be into? Since, in Naruto things are often specific and specialized rather then varied. Few characters knew a plethora and those are typically the people with a Sharingun. Oh wait, ;) I think I just answered my own question.

WIP

Servant – Revy Lee
Master – Holly Roxis

Select Your Servant: Black Lagoon - Revy Lee

Select Your Servant's Powers: Hellsing - Alucard's Guns (Hellsing Arms Jackal and Casull) .

Appearance/Style Description: Holly: Once upon a time there was a girl mousy girl. Frizzy hair, thick glasses, and a body that could have been easily mistaken for a young teenager. That was until after graduating high school she decided to travel over to Japan and really get to know the culture. The woman blossomed, not only within herself but finding that the new culture gave new life to her body. Maybe it was puberty or maybe it was the fact that things were beginning to change, but she eventually found herself with curvy hips and bubbly ass. Tits that could fill a man's hands with more than handfuls and legs that could go for miles. Following a cute trend - she usually wears different sorts of cat ears above her head and often uses black eye-make up to give herself a cat eye. She prefers to wear soft pinks, blacks, and other pastel colors. Even though she's eighteen - she is short and can sometimes appear to be mistaken for a younger woman. Not that she even cares with her adorable lifestyle.

Revy: Revy dresses like a badasses, talks like a badass, and the way she glances at people gives her the 'I don't give a fuck' attitude. Almost the exact opposite of Holly, Revy prefers to wear the same outfit day to day. Cut off short shorts that let the curve of her ass hang out. Everything stays pretty similar with what the anime represents.

Personality: Holly: Holly is extremely timid and shy.

Master - History: A bit about your Master character. What he has been doing since the game started. What his relationship is like with his Servant. That sort of thing

Current Situation: Do you fight on the front lines to help move through the game? Do you have a shop, or a house on one of the previous floors?

Servant - Weapons:

.

Servant - Special Powers: You can consider yourself having all of the powers of your anime character.

Servant - Strengths: This can be anything, related or not related to your character's fighting abilities. My recommendation would be to pick 2 things that make your Servant a badass, and 2 things that are not related to combat.

Hmm, wouldn't the Devils luck be tough to role play? After all he is called the human Typhoon for a reason. Everything goes wrong around him.

Izaya Orihara

Damn, I keep changing my mind halfway into creating a character app. There are too many interesting possibilities. Be it with canon characters, or original ones from various universes. Among others, I've been thinking of Abel Nightroad, from Trinity Blood, but also some from Duarara and Baccano, with the former having the character I named my account after, and the latter having characters such as Vino, Firo and others. Many other potential characters in different anime, too. Indecision plagueth me.

On another note, the fact that someone applied as Revy (which equals awesome) was yet another thing to snag my interest when looking at this thread, along with the curious premise and room for creativity.

Well, here goes a WIP I convinced myself to go for:

Servant – Abel Nightroad
Master – Sora Fujiwara

Select Your Servant: Abel is from Trinity Blood, and he is Krusnik 02, the main character who serves the Vatican, or more precisely, the AX division of the Vatican's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Select Your Servant's Powers: Trinity Blood.

Appearance/Style Description: See le pics.

Personality: Abel appears as a clumsy, silly man, completely unfit for his job. He is capable of becoming very serious, especially when confronted with treacherous situations. He also frequently fakes a smile or brushes off comments that he does not want to answer.  In reality, this surface is a façade for a far more solemn, sober personality, in which his compassion is retained but his other personality traits vanish. It is probable that this element of his personality may be related to what he considers "past sins" such as being unable to save Lilith from Cain, or how he killed over seven million humans in the war, back when he still hated humanity, when he had joined the Methuselah in the war against humans after the Armageddon. This prejudice was presumably the result of an unexplained betrayal by person or persons dear to him that was mentioned by a holo-recording by Lilith, as well as perhaps how he and his "siblings" had been genetically engineered and experimented on by humans, made for the purpose of colonizing Mars.

The more that Abel activates his Krusnik nanomachines, the more he seems to drift away from himself, evident in the Krusnik nanomachines talking through him (using first person plural). In the anime he generally appears to have more control than the manga, although he is very detached from his surroundings at 80% capacity. His Krusnik form also portrays an alarming thirst for Methuselah blood and destruction. It is also mentioned that when in Krusnik form at 80% Abel has enough power to completely destroy Rome. Despite the implications of his powers, Abel goes to great lengths to hide this ability from other people, referring to it as "a mark of [his] sins."

He has many quirks throughout the series, such as putting thirteen sugars lumps in his tea, and never has more than a few dinars in his wallet at a time.

On the other hand, Sora is somewhat more quiet, being particularly confident in areas he knows quite a bit about. Namely, anime and manga, music, games, technology, books, acting, history and mythology. Whilst quite smart and creative, he's not particularly good with social interactions, though he tries to be nice and assume the best of people, he can be shy and a bit lacking in confidence. He tends to be patient, though that is also related to not having a particularly good sense of time. Sora can also get easily caught up in his own thoughts. His sense of humour is quite varied, and he can like darker things as much as more usual stuff. On another note, though he's a bit uncomfortable about admitting it, he likes dominant women.

Master - History: Since being trapped in the game, Sora has managed to adapt to some extent. Though he never thought it would happen in real life, he remembers occasionally thinking and wondering what it would be like if he was stuck inside a game. Similar plots have occasionally turned up in books, films and anime before, so it's not like it was a completely new idea. This new world that opened up to him, freed him to some extent of the fears, insecurities and troubles of the real world, whilst also ensuring that he had to get used to an entirely new and uncertain existence. [WIP]

Current Situation: At the moment, whilst having a nice place in a particularly scenic part of a previously conquered floor, he does from time to time help to some extent in raids and front line conflicts.

Servant - Weapons: In his human form, Abel fights with an inordinately large and powerful revolver loaded with silver bullets. In Krusnik form, he has a giant ornate scythe made from his own blood. In essence, he himself is a living weapon, with his electrical generation further up in the activation levels.

Servant - Special Powers: Abel fuses with the Crusnik nanomachines after taking the colonizer returners' side in the Human-Vampire war.

With 40% of Crusnik nanomachines activated, his eyes become red, his lips turn a dark blue, his teeth become fangs, his nails turn into claws, and a gigantic scythe made of his own blood materializes in his hands.

At 80%, he grows black wings and can generate massive amounts of electricity ("bio-electric fields").

In the anime, at 100% activation, he turns into a humanoid creature with dark skin, black bat-like wings, and blue markings that cover his entire body. He also generates more electricity than his 80% form and a second blade forms on the other end of his blood scythe.

Abel has also demonstrated what may be form of telekinesis, and can draw Methuselah blood directly into his body without using his fangs. Abel can also capable of absorbing Ion's blood into his wings. It is possible that this presumed telekinesis is actually a result of Abel controlling the Kudlak Bacillus present in Methuselah blood. It should be noted that in Krusnik form, Abel refers to himself in first person plural, suggesting the Krusnik nanomachines have some control over his mind and body. On a related note, each activation increases his regeneration, durability, senses, speed and strength by a considerable degree. As a Krusnik, he is biologically immortal, and his wings allow him to fly.

Servant - Strengths: He is highly intelligent, and a skilled marksman and strategist. He also seems to be good with technology, such as when he deactivated a certain satellite called the Star of Sorrow, that would have been used to restart open warfare between humans and Methuselah.

Servant - Weaknesses: His 80% and 100% modes increase his beserk level and he loses control of himself. In lower activations, he is more susceptible to powerful attacks, being more easily wounded, beaten and incapacitated. If deprived of blood, he is naturally weakened, unable to heal, and more likely to be overtaken by his instincts when blood is then made available. Human blood is also less potent for him than vampire blood. Alternately, if fed too well, they the nanomachines in his blood may be too powerful and their will may have more influence over Abel's actions. Crusnik are sentient - meaning they have a mind of their own; they try to coerce the user into giving in and allowing them to possess the host, which would mean an irreversible fusion between them and end disasterously. Abel would be lost to their will - become a killing machine that wants the destruction of everything. Thus, lower levels of activation are best. The more he uses them, the more dangerous it becomes. He can also usually be a bit too hesitant to kill, which can prove to be a weakness- though he looses that inhibition if he activates a level above 40%.  If beheaded, he'll go into a "stasis" to recover (which will take time; likely days). During this period, he's extremely vulnerable. The more emotionally unstable the host, the more sway Crusnik has, the more dangerous it is to use them. Using the nanomachines extensively puts a huge taxation on his body. The more he uses them, the longer he uses them, the worse it is for his body -- and weakens him, a weakness that will stay even after he's deactivated them. Thus, he'll be very reluctant to activate them unless absolutely necessary. He can only use 80% or above if he has recently fed on vampire blood, otherwise, the nanomachines will be unable to generate sufficient power and cause him to collapse.

Well, if I had to give a reason for my actions, I guess it's because I love people. I guess I wanted to see the faces that mankind has to offer.

Abel is a cool addition! I watched little of Trinity Blood, but the few episodes I did watch were quality.

Cant forget we have Lina to, I find her to be pretty cool and funny. I never watched her anime before, so I started last night to familiarize myself. Time well spent.

  ...Hell, why not!

Servant – Chloe, the True Noir
Master – Tomoe Hanauchi

Select Your Servant: Chloe is from the anime called Noir.  She serves the criminal syndicate called Les Soldats as one of their most elite assassins.  She was raised by a high ranking Soldats member named Altena, for the explicit purpose of eventually assuming the role of Noir, a mytho-historical duo of cultist assassins.  For most of her life, she's been completely loyal to Altena, even at the expense of the rest of the syndicate.  For her, the role of Noir is more than just a birthright or a destiny: it is her life's definition, and her heart's most ardent wish.

Select Your Servant's Powers: Mystic Eyes of Death Perception (直死の魔眼 Chokushi no Magan) as Shiki Tohno from Tsukihime.  Chloe is able to see points and fault lines that allow her to kill or break anything she can conceptualize the destruction of.  She is constantly surrounded by these fault-lines, and even being a bit psychotic herself, she sometimes needs to wear specially crafted lenses to keep herself sane.

Appearance/Style Description: Chloe has narrow eyes and magenta hair, typically wearing a green cape and a dark, skin tight outfit underneath it.  She is of modest proportions, thin and muscular, prizing grace and precision over all other physical virtues.  She is mellow, and even when she is serious about something tends to remain composed and soft-spoken.

Personality: Chloe is a beautiful blend of contradictions, mellow enough to exist in the same body all at once.  She is quiet, soft-spoken, and polite, even while being arrogant and self-assured.  She is honorable, insightful, and something of a romantic, despite being a ruthless, expert murderer.  Chloe at times comes off as child like, almost innocent, hiding her brilliance and keen attention to her surroundings.  Something bubbly seems to exist just behind her narrow eyes: a kind of happiness and peace.  She finds beauty in her work, in her keepsakes, and in the few relationships she maintains.  All of this is only a scowl away from the proud, jealous and deceptive assassin she can really be.  To her, all of these things are simply part of upholding the mantle of the True Noir.

Master - History:  Tomoe chose Chloe for a servant because she wanted someone who was bubbly, optimistic, and powerful, without making it so she'd eventually grow sick of them.  When the game started, Tomoe has been working hard in the game equivalent of a Thief Class, increasing her dagger skills with help from her servant.  However, while Chloe respects her ability and likes the fact that she is making progress, her servant is also a realist.  Tomoe is much more efficient in medium armor, with a buckler and morning-star.  Tomoe was hoping that eventually her servant would come to see her as the other half of the Noir Legend, but Chloe doesn't really think she has the stuff for it.
However, this doesn't mean they don't work well together.  Tomoe loves working with vegetables and flowers, something that Chloe has an unexpected fascination with, and that Tomoe actually knows more about.  At their home, the two teach one another their respective skills while gathering up herbs, foods and flowers from their orchard to sell on market, or to cook between themselves.  Their relaxing days at their home are spent reading, cooking, building additions, and generally enjoying one another's company.  Both are laid-back, serious, or bubbly in equal measure, and despite the odd disagreement, both of them are fond of one another.
The choice to become a mercenary was only partly Chloe's.  Tomoe was in a guild for a little while, before she got sick of them.  Chloe is proud, and wants to be part of something that serves that esteem.  This guild, with infighting and incompetent (see: fatal) boss raid planning, was anything but.  She still has a few contacts from those days, that feed her information in exchange for backup.  Chloe's unique abilities allow her to access secret portions of levels and disable entire limbs from boss monsters, making her a desirable, if expensive, travelling companion.  When Tomow realized she could do better without a guild for the time being, she quit it, and since then life has been good.
Tomoe enjoys this place, and has settled into a mood where she no longer worries about beating the game.  Becoming a renowned mercenary allows her to make the money she needs to expand her orchard and keep herself current with the levels.  She likes to invite people to her cottage, and tends to be an excellent hostess.  Tomoe is known to be the goofier of the two, a trait that Chloe finds endearing, and that her guests and contractors seem to take comfort from.

Current Situation: Chloe and her master act as mercenaries.  They don't often push the front lines, preferring instead to take assignments within the world and live out their days making a name for themselves.  They have a cottage on Floor 18, set in an idyllic orchard, where they grow flowers and fruits in their free time, as well as training themselves.  This is also the place where they can be hired, although sometimes people question whether or not these are really the killers that call themselves The True Noir.  Chloe tends to enjoy farm work for some reason, noting that it feels nostalgic and simple, even meditative.

Servant - Weapons: While an expert with fire-arms, Chloe prefers to use throwing knives, and keeps a massive amount of them under her cape.  She also carries some specialty lenses that block the Mystic Eyes Ability.  Beyond this, and her kevlar under armor, she carries no other weapons.

.

Servant - Special Powers: Chloe has been trained her entire life as an elite assassin.  A genius killer, her agility, aim, and awareness are all frighteningly close to becoming super-human.  Added to this is her ability to somehow cut and break anything she sets her mind to destroying.  Despite all of this, however, Chloe remains an otherwise normal human.

Servant - Strengths:

Eye of the Hurricane:  Chloe is unnaturally hard to phase.  Except where it comes to Noir itself, Chloe is strangely able to keep a disarming composure.
Fill your hands:  She's been trained since birth to kill, and Altena went to great lengths in her training.  Especially with weapons.  If it's a weapon invented before 2015 CE, Chloe knows how to use it.
Dance Upon The Moonlight:  Chloe's agility will always be her largest strength.  Parkour is simply second nature, and she is able to use terrain and obstacles to get around in ways that would force Ezio into retirement.
Friendly:  What most people don't expect about Chloe is that she's generally likable, unexpectedly principled, and even a fluid conversationalist.  Where she isn't making bodies, she tends to make friendships.  Not all of them last, but such is life.
Loyal:  The friendships that do last, however, are things that Chloe will treasure.  Once you've earned her loyalty, you either have a friend for life, or a knife wielding time-bomb that will murder your face if you betray her.

Servant - Weaknesses:

Obsessive:  Chloe's greatest source of strength is also her greatest source of flaws.  She is obsessed with Noir, with maintaining the image, actions, and philosophy of her birthright.  She tends to obsess about other things as well.  Those that know how to play this against her may find that she is more fragile, and more easy to manipulate, than they thought.
Madness Scrawled in the Lines:  Chloe's power to cut anything comes at a price.  She will go mad if she doesn't have a break from looking at the lines every now and again.  The lenses she has that hide the lines are among her most important possessions.  Without it, she will eventually have to blindfold herself or risk her sanity.
Ordinary Human:  Chloe is exceptionally skilled, hard to hit, and even harder to catch coming.  But she's a normal human.  No regeneration, lasers, or cybernetics at all.
Limited Ammo:  Chloe carries 30 knives on her.  She often has to retrieve them after combat, or get new ones made.  Once she's out of ammo, she has to improvise.

(..So many ideas.  I'll throw this one at the wall and see if it sticks.)

Servent - Guts
Master - David Talec

Select Your Servant: The Black Swordsman Guts from “Berserk”

Select Your Servant's Powers: Guts uses the same abilities and equipment he usually does.

Appearance/Style Description: Same as visual.

Personality: Guts - Guts is, first and foremost, an incredibly resilient man. He holds himself at an arm's length to most, preferring to keep his distance in order to protect those around him from becoming entrapped in the endless battles he is forced to partake in nightly. In addition, he still feels a deep sense of loss and longing after the betrayal of the man he viewed as his best friend, Griffith, and the transformation of the woman he loves, Casca. Dealing with both of these issues on a daily basis has left him emotionally damaged, likely beyond repair, but given him insight into himself and others he wouldn't have possessed otherwise.
Beneath the outer layers of his personality - the regret, the longing, and the emotional distance - is an insatiable anger and blood lust that cannot hope to be tamed nor satisfied. With the usage of the Berserker Armor, he's constantly doing battle with himself in order to keep these emotions in check, lest he let his rage win out and he becomes a mindless beast unable to determine friend from foe. Despite this, he gives of himself relentlessly for the sake of those precious few who've managed to fight their ways into his heart despite the long voyage it took to get there; Guts is both incredibly loyal and incredibly selfless for those he deems friends.

David Talec – David is a very balanced person usually. He is kind, but not naïve, often preferring to guide people to their goals rather than solve the problem for them. Still, he always seems to have time to listen, no matter how busy he is. He isn’t one to just rush in blindly either, instead always preferring to look at the situation from multiple viewpoints to decide the best course of action. He is a born tactician, considering numerous possible outcomes in nearly every situation, and picking the best outcome from them.
David is very stoic normally, as if unsure how to express his emotions clearly. It’s not that he doesn’t feel them; he is just very skilled at hiding them from the outside world. This often results in rather formal, yet polite, speech, completely at odds with his more laid back posture and body language. He also tends to be somewhat awkward in social situations, at least until he gets to know someone better.

Master - History: David struggled for years with Bipolar II, creating a severe disconnect between him and the majority of the real world, as well as leading him to studying psychology in college. He dabbled in drawing and music to fill his free time before picking up Heroes and Servants out of curiosity, and still does during the rare times he and Guts aren’t fighting. He’s not certain whether he wants to leave the game at this point, as he sees it almost as a second chance at a fulfilling life.

Current Situation: David and Guts alternate between the front lines and recovering, with the vast majority of their time being spent on the front lines. They are constantly moving from battle to battle, only doing enough odd jobs to afford food usually.

Servant - Weapons:  Guts’ primary weapon is the Dragonslayer, a massive blade about 6’ 6” from hilt to tip, about 15” wide, and nearly an inch thick at its core. He also has a mechanical left arm with a powerful cannon built in, as well as an attachment for a repeater crossbow for mid-range attacks. These two ranged attacks have been enhanced in the game to automatically reload after a few minutes, allowing Guts to use them more effectively.
Guts also possesses the Berserker Armor, a cursed suit of Armor which gives the wearer incredible strength, endurance and the ability not to feel pain. It does this by allowing its users to bypass the natural subconscious limits that prevent them from injuring themselves when using their full strength. It can temporarily “fix” injuries by binding bleeding wounds, reinforcing broken bones, and fixing dislocated joints, piercing the flesh from within the Armor with thin barbs and spikes if required. These “fixes” actually end up causing more damage over time however; limiting the amount of time he can use the fully activated armor. This armor can also cause a berserk state where the wearer attacks anything around him, though this can be prevented for a time by allowing another person’s spirit to merge with the armor temporarily. David currently takes this role, though he merges physically with the armor as well to prevent an enemy from attacking while he is defenseless.

.

Servant - Special Powers: Guts possesses titanic strength gained from a harsh childhood lived with a band of mercenaries and years of daily fighting against absurdly large and powerful foes. Guts is seen by many as the personification of endurance and human willpower. Somehow Guts always manages to survive, even risking his life needlessly, as long as it was a risk that lay along a path to victory. He is a true master swordsman, even considered by some to be the greatest of all humans in his world. He is able to block attacks faster than the human eye can see, and all with the insanely heavy Dragonslayer.

Servant - Strengths: Absurd strength and endurance combined with a strong grasp of tactics and swordsmanship combine to make Guts a nearly perfect warrior. He is also loyal to a fault to his friends and companions, and can help others find the courage to stand up for their beliefs nearly every time.

Servant - Weaknesses: Guts is insanely reckless when he fights, to the point that he flat out ignores even potentially lethal injuries. This is both helped and worsened by the properties of the Berserker Armor. He also cares very little for anyone not close to him, and has actually used others as bait on occasion knowing that they would most likely die. Also, while David can prevent the total loss of Guts’ mind when using the Berserker Armor, his own innate rage and bloodlust tend to strengthen the longer a fight goes on, eventually overcoming even David’s ability to suppress and leading to the berserk state.

Approved Presta and Lilark! You guys can move your sheets over to the Character Sheets thread.

Would you guys like for Master's to be able to fight as well? Sort of like normal SAO players? The way I have it written right now has it to where they do not fight, and that is pretty much left up to the Servants. But if there is a big interest in it (like with Presta's sheet) then we can do it.

Servant – Gene Starwind
Master – Daniel Bell

Select Your Servant: Gene Starwind – Outlaw Star

Select Your Servant's Powers: Gene's powers will be from the Naruto universe, posessing the abilities of a high level Shinigami. For all intents and purposes I will be playing him as having the same abilities as Kakashi.

Appearance/Style Description: Physical size and appearance wise Gene appears the same as he does in Outlaw Star. Scarred up, covered in star tattoos, with red and black hair. However he wears the Anbu outfit from Naruto. Seen in the image above.

Personality: Gene in the Outlaw Star universe is a smuggler, possessing the sort of "Pirate with a Heart of Gold" personality. He can be sarcastic, cocky, egotistical, and sometimes a total moron. But he's always fair, and at the end of everything, tries to make the morally right decision where it comes to people getting hurt.

Daniel is practically Gene's opposite in many regards. He does not posses the level of confidence that his Servant carries around. Rarely fighting in any battle like many of the other Masters, Daniel is much more unsure of his own abilities and can most often be found standing behind Gene as opposed to standing next to him. These personality qualities were what lead him to Gene in the first place. Probably one of Daniel's largest character flaws is that despite knowing for certain that he could die, he still treats much of SAO as a game. Lacking a bit of the serious demeanor of the other Masters in his power league.

Master - History: Despite being shy and lacking a great deal of confidence in his personal abilities, Daniel takes massive pride in Gene as his Servant. When they became locked in this game of death, Gene and Daniel have been clearing dungeons and participating in any Boss fight that they've been able to get their hands on. Having yet to join a guild, the pair are an extremely effective duo of brains and muscle. Gaining them a well respected reputation among the SAO player community. Currently the two are chomping at the bit to get to the next floor. Excited that they are near halfway through with the game, and obviously in awe of what comes next in the second half of the game.

Current Situation: Gene and Daniel do not have any player housing, and are currently helping with the front line battle.

Servant - Weapons: Gene possesses the regular suite of ninja weapons seen commonly on Shinigami in Naruto. As well as several scrolls that can summon different types of melee and ranged weaponry as needed.

Servant - Special Powers: As previously stated, Gene has the powers of Kakashi from Naruto. Other than his normal array of abilities, Gene's primary special Power is the Sharingan in his left eye. One that allows him to copy the moves of opponents. Both from, and outside of the Naruto universe.

Servant - Strengths: This can be anything, related or not related to your character's fighting abilities. My recommendation would be to pick 2 things that make your Servant a badass, and 2 things that are not related to combat.

While I wouldn't be able to use it with David and Guts for obvious reasons, I think it would be interesting to leave the option open. It would make it seem more realistic, and could also allow for a closer bond between both Master and Servant and between Masters themselves.

I actually considered Guts believe it or not, but decided I couldn't play him right since A; I only watched half the show so far and B; I don't feel like playing a character like him at this time. Al fit's more my current mood in characters. But I chose him also because FMA holds a special place with me, as my first ever anime. Imitation is the ultimate form of flattery, and what is a fan based game if not at least some form of imitation?

But I do think it is awesome some one is playing him. ^^ Good pick. Hope to see him slice and dice and grind his way into being one of those level capped bad asses you see on MMO's. :P

Lobster: I think that would be cool. Maybe not to the degree a Servant can. But definitely be able to fight, at least each other and beasts out in the world. Though it may take a bit from the choice to transform into the servant. Perhaps the difference is that with transforming you have added power, but with using the servant you have the potential to mob or flank?

Quick question for you guys!

Since Gene is going to have Kakashi's Sharingan from Naruto, do you think it would be able to copy the abilities of power's outside of Naruto? I want to say yes, otherwise it would pretty much be useless until they encounter a Naruto enemy. But I didn't want to give the perception that I'm making my go overpowered or anything.

Thoughts?

It should have some limitations, otherwise it kind of drains the uniqueness from our characters if you have one person that can do everything.

Garuss Vakarian

Missfire: I have to agree with you. Hmm, I don't know. Lobster, You could just have it so that you can already do a lot from Naruto. Since if you gave him Kakashi's sharingun specifically, wouldn't that mean he has the skill's and Ninjutsu Kakashi collected over the years having it? Just a thought.

Otherwise learning to do stuff outside ninjutsu is fine, as long as it is within reason or not to overpowered. IE: He cant learn to become a super sayan, since he is not a saiyan. Or like for example, He cant learn to use BK201, the Black Reaper's contract. (Since in Darker Then Black, a contract is more of a personal power, activated by a tick or price etc.)

Ziya

I agree with MissFire and Garuss. There is an easy way around it though. If I recall, while the Sharingan can copy anything it doesn't give the user the strength or stamina to use it fully. That's why Sauske had to train before using high speed taijutsu. So even if something can be learned by the user, they still have to train in that type of skill before using it effectively.

Garuss Vakarian

That's true to. It's not some sure fire, now you can do it to! Kind of skill. The Sharingun may say what to do, but you still need to hone it. Good point Lilark.

Further, the Sharingun has other things beyond learning jutsu's and such. It can also be used as a powerful illusionary weapon.

BruceTheCat

I like what you mentioned about it having the ability to use various techniques that were collected over the years by Kakashi. That way I can keep it to the Naruto universe, but maybe pull out a interesting technique every so often that had never been seem thus far by way of the Sharingan.

There's really no good, balanced way to have Gene copy non-Naruto abilities. So I'll stick just with it being a sort of excuse to make up some cool new techniques.

Servant – Spike Spiegel
Master – Moses Price

Select Your Servant: Spike Spiegel - Cowboy Bebop

Select Your Servant's Powers: Spike has gained the abilities of Kyōsuke Hyōbu from Zettai Karen Children(Main Antagonist) &  The Unlimited - Hyōbu Kyōsuke(Protagonist). This has essentially turned him into an extremely powerful Esper with multiple psychic abilities.

Appearance/Style Description: Tall and thin in appearance, Spike has fluffy green hair and reddish-brown eyes, one of which is artificial(right eye) and lighter than the other. He is usually dressed in a blue leisure suit, with a yellow shirt and Lupin III inspired boots. Spike smokes like a chimney, so it's not surprising to see a cancer stick in his mouth at any given time.

Personality:

Spike - One of the recurring themes surrounding Spike's character is how he views himself and his life. He claims that one eye - his right one, the prosthetic - can only see the present, and the other - the left, his real eye - can only see the past. Spike's attitude of living in a "dream-like" existence is displayed by his careless behavior and his nonchalant attitude towards dangerous or outright fatal situations. When he is not shown working or practicing martial arts, Spike is very laid back and lackadaisical, often a source of consternation for his friends and allies. Some members of the Bebop crew occasionally refer to him as a "lunkhead" due to his attitude, and generally Spike just takes life as it comes. He also is shown to enjoy sleeping, and that may tie into his mantra of 'living a dream.'

Spike's philosophy seems to be based on the ancient samurai ideals of immediacy, such as considering oneself as dead and the idea of death being an awakening from a dream, which are both elements of bushido illustrated in the Hagakure.

Moses - Moses is actually somewhat similar to his Servant, although there are a few key differences. Like Spike, Moses is a pretty mellow, calm, laid back individual. However he takes fighting and life vs death quite seriously. He likes being alive, so he'll do everything he can to stay that way. He's a very extroverted person and is often telling a joke or trying to make somebody laugh. Well not so much trying as just being himself. He's loyal to a fault, and if you gain his trust, you have his loyalty and friendship until you do something to change that. He's always been very analytical and has a habit of studying people, even the opponent during battle.

Master - History: Before the game, Moses was a star athlete who didn't quite fit in with the usual jock crowd. He liked anime and cartoons and stuff like that. Since getting stuck however, he's found a niche of sorts with all the people trapped along with him. Of course he wants to get out, but since the only way anyone can figure to do that is to beat the game, he's focusing on finding a strong party and trying to conquer the world. If he finds some sick loot along the way...bonus.

Current Situation: Moses and Spike split their time between fighting on the front lines and gathering wealth/supplies. They do this by farming of course, but also offering their services to guilds or adventurers needing help to get past certain points. It's worked pretty well and they have several small homes on lower levels. Their crowning glory is a seaside manor on level 35 that they won from a guy who claimed they couldn't take down a certain boss in under five minutes.

Servant - Weapons: Spike can manifest weapons from solidifying his Esper energy. He usually makes guns, but he's just as comfortable forming a blade or push broom staff. He can form these weapons out of any combination of his powers, so he could form a lightning sword with a spiral of flame around it for example.

Servant - Special Powers: Spike is a highly skilled and very powerful Esper who has a wide range of abilities due to Hyobu absorbing the abilities of his dead comrades. He can use most of them simultaneously and combine them which makes him a very versatile, unpredictable, and capable fighter. He possesses Psychokinesis, Electrokinesis, Teleportation, Psychometry, Pyrokinesis and Hypnosis. The level of strength and skill he displays with these powers classifies him as "Level 7", the most powerful classification an Esper can attain.

Psychokinesis: This is essentially a heightened form of telekinesis. When using his psychokinesis, Spike is enveloped in a dull green field of pure energy. With this ability he can launch vectors(invisible tendrils of energy), manipulate his opponent and the environment from a distance, and cause large scale destruction through pure force. His energy field also doubles as a force field to protect him from damage. If he focuses his energy into his blows, he can simulate super strength. He is also able to move around and fly at high speeds by manipulating his own body.

Electrokinesis: Spike can generate and manipulate incredible amounts of electricity, allowing him to shoot bolts of lightning, electrify areas, and even himself to cause damage to anyone who hits him. He can also absorb electricity from other sources, so he could drain a building to increase his own reserves, or absorb an electrical attack directed at him.

Pyrokinesis: Spike can generate, absorb, and manipulate flames so hot they can easily melt steel and other strong materials. He can create pillars of flame, throw fireballs, and even generate powerful explosions by causing combustion in oxygen molecules.

Psychometry: By simply touching an object, person or animal, Spike can read the immediate information available, such as name, age, height and occupation of a person as well as their physical and mental conditions. If touching an object, he can obtain remaining information and thoughts left by the person who has touched the object as well as information of the object itself.

Psycho Dive - This is a technique utilized by high level psychometry and telepath users, only psychometrist and telepaths of level 6 and 7 have been shown to be able to do this. This allows the user to explore the innermost of a person's memories, thoughts and feelings. This process can be reversed so the Esper's innermost feelings and thoughts can be accessible to the other person, but unless they're very comfortable that probably won't happen.

Dimensional Space Manipulation: By manipulating small portions of this dimension, Spike can teleport himself, others, and objects from one place to another instantly. He does this by connecting Point A and Point B, then tunneling through space-time to get from one to the other. He can do this so quickly he can create after-images of himself. Spike can also stop things in mid-teleport, leaving them trapped in a featureless void until he decides to recall them.

Quantum Cutter - Another use for his teleportation is as a weapon. For instance, he could cut someone in half by only teleporting their waist, leaving the rest of them behind. A more direct application of this is known as "Quantum Cutter". By focusing teleportational energy along the edge of a weapon, or even just his hand, he can create a quantum edge. And anything he hits will simply cease to exist in that space.

Hypnosis: After gaining eye contact, Spike can enter someones mind and create incredibly realistic illusions and images in a persons mind. These illusions are so real that if firmly established, once they are released from Spike's control, they believe anything that happened in the illusion to be the truth. He can even cause bodily harm as the illusions trick the the brain and body into believing all simulation is real.

Unlimited Mode: Many high level Espers have seemingly mundane items on their person that double as limiters. These limiters are devices meant to suppress the full extent of their power. Spike's is his tie. When he removes the tie from around his neck, his limiter deactivates and he can boost to his unlimited mode, which releases his full power. This ability only lasts for a limited time before he must reactivate his limiter. When activated, Spike's energy aura becomes a brilliant jade color with shades of red matching his eyes flaring up throughout.

Octet Boost: In this mode, Spike combines  all of his abilities forces to create Octet Boost which causes seven energy wings to manifest behind him and creates the one of the strongest powers in ZKC universe. This is a one-hit kill attack, and is so powerful that anything in it's path will be reduced to nothingness. After using this, Spike can maintain Octet Boost power levels for a short while, but can not use Octet Boost itself(the attack) again for quite some time.

Servant - Strengths:

Impossible Luck - There is no real explanation for this, but Spike is so damn lucky that no matter how bad the situation seems to be, he somehow finds a way to not only survive, but to come out on top. This seems to be a combination of the actual concept of luck and Spike's ability to read his opponent from their combat style to how they think and act.

Jeet Kune Do - Jeet Kun Do exists as not only an ever evolving and highly customizable fighting style, but a way of life. Spike has been practicing it nearly all his life and has developed a style focused around sleight of hand, misdirection, letting his opponents tire themselves out and using his opponents momentum against them. He also likes to incorporate a lot of throws and kicks(based off Savate). "Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. That water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee.   It's this quote that Spike lives by, understanding that he needs to be adaptable in any situation to be able to overcome it.

Cooking - Spike has been a bachelor and alone for most of his life. And being poor a good majority of it he couldn't afford to eat out all the time, so he's spent almost all of his time cooking to keep himself fed. As a result he's a very skilled and creative self taught chef.

Smart - While not a genius, Spike is incredibly sharp and smart witted. As noted by his best friend Jet Black, if he planned ahead instead of just thinking in the moment, he'd be pretty much unstoppable.

Servant - Weaknesses:

Limiter - Due to a combination of Esper abilities and the strength of them all, Spike's limiter is extremely important. It keeps his power in check. If Spike were to have his Limiter forcibly removed, or if he stayed in Unlimited Mode too long, not only would he run the risk of going berserk, but he'd damage himself from the sheer overload of power as well.

Loyalty - Spike doesn't see it this way, but when he finds people he actually cares about, he will put himself in the line of fire to help them with absolutely no hesitation. He'll probably moan and groan about it incessantly, but he'd readily take a massive attack for a friend if it meant they could keep fighting on.

Lackadaisical - Spike is...well he's pretty damn lazy. It's very hard for him to get motivated(aside from friends or money), so he often just sits around all day doing nothing. It's to the point that his own lethargy seems infectious sometimes and others will either ask him why he's like he is, or will catch the lazy bug themselves.

Lecherous - He loves the ladies. He'll chase a skirt from one level to the next. It's a big problem that he can't seem to solve. The good side though is that he actually is pretty damn charming...so he's got that going for him, which is nice.

:o Spike? Thats a good choice! Though I think the select your servents powers part specifically below select your servent needs to be a bit more explained. Reading it it sounds like he got two different powers from two specific characters combined. Rather then a specific character. Or power thats more open. (ie: Alchemy. Any one can use it, it's just unique in how it is used.)

I only point this out since I dont think we are allowed to combine the powers of two characters. And though it seems they are both phsychic, wouldnt it just be better to say he is an esper?

The guy who's powers he's using(Kosuke Hyobu) is the main antagonist of the original series Zettai Karen Children,  and the main protagonist of the spin off, The Unlimited: Hyobu Kyosuke. I just mentioned he was in both in different roles.

And yeah, Spikes pretty awesome.

Oh so it's exactly the same between the two? That makes sense. Just to be sure you know, I was not trying to burst your bubble, I simply needed a bit of insight. Thanks ^^ .

Juggtacular

Exact same guy. He's just a villain in one and seen as the good guy in the spin off that follows his life and struggles.

Oh.... I think I shoulda clued in on that since the second name was the same but with the first and surnames switched. Was that a typo on your part or doese the anime make that intentional switch? (Edit: What I mean is you said Kyōsuke Hyōbu and then Hyōbu Kyōsuke. And that confused me.)  I was only confused since sometimes I read japanese names like the parents in charlie brown. Wha wa wa wa wa. :P Glazing over it as a series of letters. Especialy if I am familiar with the character. If I know the person is Naruto Uzamaki I am not going to read through the sudden switch in pronounciation. I know it's dumb, sorry.

Juggtacular

It was intentional on their part it seems. No idea why they switched it around but the second one is the title of the anime so they probably thought it sounded better that way.
